"S-Sasuke-kun!" Sakura's heated cry reverberated off of the bedroom walls as her husband thrust one final time within her before he deeply grunted her name as his body stilled; his hot seed spilling deep within her womb caused her to shiver. The raven-haired male then collapsed on top of her sweaty form, careful to avoid putting any type of pressure on her still flat stomach that was now harboring his future offspring and rested his head against her bare shoulder; planting a gentle kiss to her heated skin. The couple's harsh pants were the only sound throughout the entirety of their home for several minutes before the pinkette huffed out a gentle chuckle; her body shaking slightly beneath Sasuke's with themovement. He lifted himself up so he could gaze down at his wife curiously. "I guess that's one way to celebrate," she half laughed as her hands moved to stroke the slick skin on his bare torso; soothing away the harsh scratches that ran down the length of his back as she did so.

"Hn." His cocky smirk indicated that he took great pride in his ability to satisfy his wife, repeatedly for that matter, and he gently flicked the middle of her forehead playfully before he slowly removed himself from her warm embrace. "I'm going to take a quick shower before Sarada comes home. You're welcome to join me if you wish." Her husband rose from their marital bed slowly, giving her a full view of his handsome profile before he made his way from their bedroom and into their attached bathroom. Sakura had watched him go as she rose to a seated position, her bright green eyes following his slow progression observantly. Sasuke's dark hair was sticking out in several places where she had yanked on it harshly and the sweat that glistened on his muscular chest and back was slowly making a trail downwards towards his...'Oh fuck,' Sakura thought as she swallowed thickly; suddenly feeling very hot and bothered... again. 'Damn these stupid pregnancy hormones. Shannaro!'

Shaking her head quickly to rid it of the inappropriate thoughts, the pinkette slowly stood from the bed and onto shaky legs. Her body felt extremely exhausted from all of the day's excitement and strenuous activities but it wasn't over yet. They still had one more thing to deal with before she could call it quits and go to sleep but she was slightly dreading the upcoming conversation with their daughter if she was being honest with herself because she didn't know how Sarada would react to the news. Sakura knew that sleep wasn't going to be an option at this point and so as she heard the water for the shower turn on, indicating Sasuke had already entered the warm spray, she made her way towards him. "Hey Sasuke-kun," she called softly as she entered the now steamy room, her green irises focusing on the lone figure who stood just behind the shower curtain. His silhouette turned slightly in her direction and she heard him grunt, indicating he was listening. "We didn't really discuss what we were going to say to Sarada. I mean...well, we got a little...," she paused, blushing deeply at the memory.

"Distracted," he finished for her and she nodded even though he couldn't see her. He pulled the shower curtain back and inclined with his head, letting her know she could join him if she wanted to. Sakura swiftly entered the shower; the warm spray helped to loosen her suddenly very tense shoulders. She melted into the hard body of her husband as he moved silently to stand behind her while his lone arm came up to wrap firmly around her toned middle; he leaned down to rest his head on her shoulder.

"It's just that I'm not sure how she will take the news," Sakura continued on a sigh, her small hands moving to grasp onto her husband's forearm as she closed her eyes tightly. "She hasn't asked for a brother or sister since...well, let's just say that it's been a while."

"Hn."

"I'm serious, Sasuke-kun," she said turning in his hold to face him. Her expression had grown serious and she was pouting slightly. Sasuke found that he had a hard time keeping his expression neutral for he wanted to smirk at how cute she looked in that moment. "What if she's mad at us...what if..."

"Sakura, why would she be mad at us?"

"Uh, because I'm pregnant...with twins mind you."

"Hn. Well, I'm not the one who's pregnant. So, why would she be mad at me?" He was teasing her now and she knew it. Sakura narrowed her green orbs on him and smacked his muscular chest playfully; water droplets sprayed off his skin where hers met his, splashing them in the face but neither seemed to notice.

"This is serious," she sighed as slight frustration began to seep in.

"I'm being serious," he said but his tone and expression said otherwise. She saw the small twitch in his lips as he fought off a smile; his dark eyes twinkled with mirth as he gazed down at her. She rolled hers and huffed.

"You're so exhausting sometimes Sasuke-kun."

"Hn. But you love me anyway," he purred lowering his thin lips to her plump ones for a quick but sweet kiss.

"Of course, I do," she smiled as her expression softened before she turning around to grab her shampoo. When Sasuke held his hand out to her she squirted a small portion into his awaiting palm before he began to rub it gently into her pink hair as the scent of vanilla and strawberries saturated the air around them. After a moment of silence and relaxation, she decided to push the subject further as it was still worrying away at her mind. "Do you think she will hate me?"

"Why would she?"

"Oh, you know...she won't be the center of our attention anymore because we will have new babies to look after. For instance, will she eventually grow jealous of all the attention the babies will be getting? I've never had a sibling so I don't know what the relationship between them will be like." Sasuke paused and became thoughtful for a moment before moving his lone hand down to her back as he scrubbed her soft skin there in soothing, gentle circles.

"She won't hate you Sakura."

"But..."

"Your overthinking things like you always do. Sarada will be fine. She's a smart and kindhearted person because you raised her properly. She will be fine with it."

"If you say so..." Sakura smiled softly as his words began to sink in. You raised her properly, he had said. At least I've done something right, she thought as she reached up to her hair to gather some soap before aiding her husband in finishing up her washing; she then switched places with him in order to rinse herself. "I just hope it all works out," she whispered after all the suds were gone. Sasuke turned towards his wife and grasped her chin gently in his hand before tilting her head up so she had to look him directly in the eyes; his irises were full of silent determination.

"It will. Don't worry. Now let's get done so we can start dinner. Sarada will be home in about fifteen minutes."

"Mama, Papa...I'm home."

"We're in the kitchen sweetie," Sakura called to her daughter from the other room, making Sarada pause. 'Sweetie? Mama hasn't used that word of endearment in a long time. Not since...oh no. Is someone sick...did something happen to Mama or Papa?' Sarada raced quickly down the narrow hallway before she skidded to a stop in the kitchen doorway. Her heart was racing frantically as she searched wildly with her sharingan eyes only to see her mother standing at the stove with an apron covering her front and her father taking dishes to the kitchen table. Sakura turned to her with a gentle smile.

"What's the matter sweetie?"

The young Uchiha frowned and crossed her arms over her chest as she stared pointedly at her parents; red receding back to black. "Okay, what's going on," she asked calmly. Sarada watched on silently as her mother and father both visibly tensed at her question before they sent each other a secret look, one that she could quite decipher and her pink lips pulled down further.

"N-nothing. Why would you think something was wrong," Sakura asked; her smile seemed a little to forced, to be considered genuine. 'Yeah, something is definitely going on with them. What are they trying to hide?' Sarada turned to her father to gage his reaction and noticed that he was mumbling something incoherently under his breath but otherwise he continued on with his task of placing plates and cups in front of their respective seats around the wooden table as if nothing was amiss.

"Okay seriously, what's going on with you two? Did something happen? Did you lose your job Mama or did you get hurt Papa? Did... did someone die or..."

"Nothing's wrong, Sarada. Go wash up. Dinner is almost ready." Her father's tone left no room for argument and so Sarada (unhappily and reluctantly) made her way from the room and went to wash up as she was told to do. When she returned a minute later, she saw her mother and father standing beside the kitchen counter with their heads close together as they whispered quietly to each other. Her curiosity was getting the better of her and so she tried to remain silent, straining her ears the best she could but she just couldn't seem to hear a word they said; only hushed murmuring. She cleared her throat loudly and watched as her parents quickly pulled apart; her mother was blushing slightly and her father was his usual stoic self.

The small family sat after dinner was served and for the most part the meal was eaten in silence. Until finally, when Sarada couldn't take the quiet any longer, she cleared her throat once more to gather her parent's attention. "Dinner's delicious Mama."

"Thank you, sweetheart. It's a new recipe from Hinata. She said Boruto and Hima love it so I thought we would give it a try."

"Well, it's definitely delicious." Sakura smiled warmly at the compliment before taking another bite from her own plate. Sasuke grunted slightly in agreement, his face was otherwise blank but the look in his eyes was one of contentment as he was surrounded by the two people, he loved the most.

"So," Sarada started, pushing some of her food around on her plate with her chopsticks. "What did you both do today?"

Sakura looked up and her vibrant green eyes went slightly wide. "Oh, well I had to work this morning but that's about it for me. What about you, Anata," she said, turning towards her husband expectantly.

Sasuke grunted. "Training." The awkwardness in the room was continuing to build and Sarada could tell her parents were hiding something from her but she wasn't sure what it could be nor how to go about inquiring without seeming too obvious about it since they didn't seem to interested in telling her about it in the first place. Before she could investigate further though Sakura spoke up, temporarily making her lose track of what she was planning on asking them.

"How did training go today?"

"Fine. Mitsuki and I were practicing some taijutsu until Himawari showed up. Then stupid Boruto decided he wanted to try and show off in front of his little sister but he ended up falling in the river so it wasn't too bad. He's such an idiot sometimes," she giggled.

"Speaking of Hima...," Sakura began and Sarada raise her dark brows at her mother; extremely curious as to where this conversation was headed. "How does Boruto like being a big brother?"

Sarada frowned. "He said it's fun most of the time but that having a little sister can be a pain in the butt. She goes into his room when he's not home sometimes and moves his stuff around. I'm glad I don't have that problem. I like my things to be organized and put in their proper place." Sarada notice her mother's face visibly pale before a flash of pain crossed her features; she grew concerned. "Mama...are you alright? You look like you're going to throw up."

"T-tomatoes...," Sakura whispered before rising swiftly from her chair, nearly toppling it backwards as she dashed quickly from the room; Sarada and Sasuke heard a door slam in the distance seconds after. The two of them sat in an awkward silence for a moment while they waited anxiously for Sakura to return. Sarada began to twiddled her thumbs together underneath the table in a way of occupying her hands.

"Is Mama okay," she finally questioned after the silence became too much for her.

"Hn. She's fine."

"But if she isn't feeling well, she should go to the doctor and get checked out don't you think so Papa."

"She's fine Sarada."

"But she didn't look fine. She looked..."

"Sarada. Your mother isn't ill. She just pregnant."

"..."

"..." 'Oh shit.'

"...oh."

"Hn."

After rinsing her mouth out repeatedly to try and get the awful taste of sick off of her tongue, Sakura felt well enough to go back out to dinner and so she made her way down the hallway slowly and towards the kitchen. Her mind was still contemplating the best way in which she would be able to tell her daughter that she was pregnant again. The pinkette had thought that she had found the right opportunity when Sarada brought up everything with the Uzumaki kids; but then the girl proceeded to say all of that stuff about Boruto and Hima not always getting along and she was starting to feeling a little more concerned with how her own daughter would react to the...big news.

Upon reentering the kitchen, she observed that the atmosphere was completely different to what it had been when she had first left and she also noticed that both Sarada and Sasuke were staring at one another silently; neither blinking and both with a neutral expression on their faces. 'Like father, like daughter I suppose.'

"Is everything alright," she asked cautiously as she lowered herself slowly back into her seat at the table. Sarada finally turned to her mother with a concerned look on her face and Sakura watched as her daughter's dark eyes softened slightly.

"Are you feeling better now, Mama?"

"Yes Sarada, I'm fine. It must have just been a bad tomato or something." Her husband frowned at her comment and huffed slightly. There is no such thing as a bad tomato, she could practically hear him say and smiled softly at him as an apology.

"If you're sure." She could tell her daughter didn't quit believe her but she wasn't sure how to go about telling her that her pregnancy was the reason for her illness and so she let it go, figuring that she could deal with it at a later date. When Sarada suddenly clapped her hands together however, Sakura jumped in surprise before turning her full gaze upon the young girl. "Hey Mama, Papa let's play a game."

"Okay...," Sakura spoke somewhat cautiously. "What do you want to play?"

"Twenty questions?"

"Umm..."

"Come on it will be fun." The pleading look on Sarada's face had Sakura giving in quickly. How could she ever say no when her daughter looked at her like that.

"Okay..."

"Yes!" Sarada turned to her father then. "The first question is for you Papa. How old are you?"

"Hn. Easy. Thirty-two."

"Okay Mama's turn. When did you first know you were in love with Papa?"

"Oh uh...," her mother blushed deeply. "I guess I've always loved him. I can't pinpoint the exact moment."

Sarada smiled at her brightly. "Papa, what exactly do you do when you're away from the village?"

"That's classified Sarada."

"Ugh...fine! So...um...Mama, how far along are you?"

"..." silence filled the room as Sakura turned in her chair slowly to look at Sasuke but he refused to make eye contact with his wife giving her all of the confirmation she needed; her unspoken question being answered by that simple action. 'How could he tell her without me!? That little...'

Her attention was brought back to their child when she heard Sarada clear her throat; her daughter's gaze was expectant as she waited silently for an answer. "What do you mean," Sakura asked, opting to play dumb although she knew it wouldn't deter Sarada in the least; she was a stubborn child after all...stubborn and determined, just like her parents.

"Don't play dumb, Mama. You know exactly what I mean," Sarada said leaning forward with her arms place on the table. "How far along are you? You can't be too far since you're still not showing, right?"

"I... you...this...," Sakura stuttered anxiously for several seconds before turning an angry gaze upon her husband, who stared back at her blankly. "How could you tell her without me Sasuke-kun..."

"I'm sorry, Sakura. It just...slipped," her husband shrugged and tried to act as nonchalantly as possible while he placed his chopsticks on his plate; wiping his mouth with his napkin before turning his full attention upon his wife. Sakura starred at him, flabbergasted before narrowing her eyes at him.

"Oh, it did, did it!?" Her temper was rising as she clinched her hands into tight fist at her sides.

"Yes, it did. Just now when you went to the bathroom."

"I thought we were going to tell her together!"

"Mama," Sarada quickly interjected before things could escalate further. "Please don't get mad at Papa. You know I would have found out eventually anyway." Sakura frowned; her angry glare now directed at her plate for a moment before she closed her green eyes; a small sigh of resignation escaping past her lips as she slumped in her seat; defeated. She looked up at her daughter and her eyes softened.

"Sarada...are you okay...you know with all of this?"

"I kind of have to be don't I. It's not like I have choice in the matter anyway, right?"

"Sarada..."

"Mama, you don't have to worry. I'm okay with it; honestly." Sarada smiled gently, her onyx-colored eyes twinkling slightly as she gazed lovingly at her mother. "Actually...I know I haven't known for very long, but I'm kind of excited about it. I mean it was a shock at first but...I think it will be fun to have a little brother or sister around."

Sakura smiled. "Didn't your father tell you we're having twins?"

"...no," Sarada whispered as her eyes grew wide with surprise. "But... but, that's even better!"

"So," Sakura asked almost hesitantly, biting her bottom lip nervously. "You're really okay with it?"

"Of course."

"I'm so, so glad," Sakura stood then with watery eyes and moved around the table to hug her first born; her strong arms wrapping securely around the small girl's shoulders. "I love you so much Sarada. Don't think for a second I will love you any less when these babies come. I will love you just the same as I always have and I always will."

"I know, Mama. I know." Sakura squeezes her daughter tighter and Sarada felt her lungs compressing painfully; she started gasping for air. "Hey...uh, Mama..."

"Mm...," Sakura hummed contently.

"You're...c-crushing...me."

"Oh...oh no," Sakura said releasing her daughter at once. She smiled sheepishly as she moved to sit back down. "Sorry." Sarada just laughed.

"It's okay. So, how far along are you? When do we find out the genders? Oh...what will we name them once they get here!" Sarada was practically jumping out of her seat with excitement as question after question spewed from her mouth. Sakura just chuckled while Sasuke smirked.

"Well let's see..."

The young family talked for most of the evening as excitement filled the air with a gentle hum; conversation flowed freely between the three of them as they simply enjoyed each other's company. Both Sasuke and Sakura were thrilled that their daughter seemed to be so eager and accepting of her new 'yet to be born' siblings. The love already shining brightly behind her dark eyes as she repeatedly took small glances at her mother's stomach throughout the night where the small babies were growing. When it was well into the early morning hours, they finally decided to call it quits and after biding their daughter goodnight, the couple crawling into bed; cuddled up to one another as their bodies were bathed in the fading moon's soft glow. "Sasuke-kun...," Sakura started, her green eyes drooping heavily with her exhaustion.

He shushed his wife gently, pulling her closer and rubbing his fingers along the smooth, bare flesh of her shoulder. He planted a soft kiss to her temple before resting his chin on the top of her head. "Sleep now Sakura. We can discuss things more tomorrow."

"Okay...goodnight, Sasuke-kun."

"Mm. Goodnight, Sakura." Both parents fell asleep with a small smile tugging at their lips and a warmth that seeped deeply in their hearts; both excited for the future where they would become a family of five.
