Here it is everybody, the tenth chapter, the chapter where the wave of catastrophe strikes. If your wondering how our heroes will deal with such an event then you'll just have to read to find out. But before you do that please consider checking out my new fanfiction "The gamer: Kireina" afterwards since it involves my amazing friend Kireina-chan as the main protagonist with the bullshit gamer ability and she becomes OP as fucking hell.

Side note: I just wanted to say sorry for the long update time its just that I've been taking it easy for a while and letting my creativity build up again, so sorry for making you guys and gals wait so long and thank you for your patience.
Erhard's shop
"Wow this is great Erhard thanks for the new gear!" Kirishima said gratefully to the blacksmith as he checked out his sick new armour.
It consisted of his usual red cape, armour plating over his torso, hips, forearms, and shoulders, the clothing accompanying the armour was a pair of black pants, dark brown boots with some armour plates over them, a black waist cloak not unlike the one his hero suit had, and a black shirt. However the most eye catching thing about the outfit were the two armoured gloves on his hands, armoured gloves which looked like the ones Rappa used to increase the attack power of his punches, the only difference being the red gems on the back of the gloves which were fire crystals to add fire damage to Kirishima's punches(1).
"No problem shield bro! I'm just glad everyone likes the gear I made for them!" Erhard replied as he looked at the rest of the shield hero's party.
Raphtalia's armour was pretty simple in terms of design and functionality, it was a breastplate which protected her vitals, shoulder guards, shin guards, and even a slightly metal plated skirt. All of it was light-weight and wouldn't hinder her movement one bit. She also received a new sword which Kirishima brought for her despite her protests.
Gregar's armour was even more simple, Shoulder guards and hip guards, and that was it aside from new armour plating on his boots. He also got his axes sharpened and polished looking ready to go.
Fuyu's barely had any armour on her since she was a magic caster but still opted for some metal guards on her new boots since you'd be surprised how many mages die to bites from common snakes and other toxic animals which aren't even monsters because they didn't protect their feet. Anyways her new attire was made up of aforementioned boots which were white in colour, light grey pants, a white shirt with chains of ice blue snowflakes around the cuffs of the sleeves and around the collar, and a long white cloak which went down to just above her ankles with a large ice blue snowflake on the back, top this off with a white witch-style hat along with a staff with a snowflake shaped crystal at the top of it and she had a pretty good style going for her.
All in all, they looked ready and well-equipped to take on the wave.
"Are you sure we're ready to take on the wave Kirishima-kun?" Fuyu asked worried, they may have been training none stop for days and Fuyu and Gregar even got class-ups, but just because of those facts didn't mean they would be able to hold up to the wave. She knew they prepared strategies and trained to counter the hordes of monsters that were sent by the wave, but with it being so close she was starting to get cold feet(pun unintended) about it.
"Don't worry Fuyu-chan, if we all work together and watch each others backs then we'll be just fine!" Kirishima answered with his shark-like grin on his face.
So just for the record, lets go over what class-ups they picked.
Raphtalia chose the class-up "Spellblade" which was all about her combining magic with her sword techniques.
Gregar chose the simple class-up of "Titan strength" which gave him the immense strength of a giant which was noticeable from the first enemy he encounter and completely crushed the skull of with his bare hands.
Fuyu chose something which seemed like the obvious choice for her, "Blizzard mage" which enhanced her ice magic to an insane degree, to the point where she can cast a mid level Zweite(mid-tier) spell by merely saying its name.
As for their levels, well...
Kirishima: 54
Raphtalia: 59
Gregar: 52
Fuyu: 57
Lets just say Kirishima and Gregar had their manly pride damaged a bit.
Anyways now with their new gear and class-ups they(mostly) felt prepared to combat anything the wave throws at them.
"Yeah, I'm sure you kids will be completely fine out there! besides shield bro will be able to just take anything the monsters have so you wont have to!" Erhard added trying to comfort the young ice mage, after all he knew how scary the waves could be since he was caught up in the first one while he was outside of the capital. But luckily he managed to get out alive with very few injuries due to his high level and raw strength.
"O-ok! yeah, we can do this!" Fuyu said having her confidence boosted by the redhead and blacksmith.
"Yeah! lets kill some monsters!" Gregar yelled as he held up his sharpened axes.
The day of the wave, in the forest near the capital
In the forest nearby the capital's walls were Kirishima and his party, they didn't want to be anywhere within the capital but were told that if they strayed to far away the dragon hourglass wouldn't be able to transport them to the site of the wave, so they opted to just waiting outside of the walls as they figured that would be close enough without having needing to be inside the city.
Kirishima himself was watching the countdown timer to the wave, even if he didn't show it he was a bit nervous himself about facing it, but part of being a hero is being a symbol of hope for everyone else to rely on, just like All might was! so he wasn't going to let a little bit of anxiety get to him.
Then he noticed Raphtalia approaching him with a worried look on her face, was she nervous about the wave? it would make sense since from what she told him after the fight with the two-headed black dog is that her parents were killed during the first wave, so she could possibly be worried about this one as well.
"Eijiro-sama? may I speak with you?" she asked nervously with her hands behind her back.
"Sure Raphtalia-chan, what do you need?" he replied while looking directly at her to show she has his full attention.
"I... I just wanted to thank you for all that you have done for me, you fed me when I was hungry, you let me rest when I was tired, you even cured my illness. So I just wanted you to know I'm forever grateful for all that you have done for me, and that if we don't survive the wave I shall still be your sword in our next lives!" Raphtalia said with a fire burning brightly in her eyes and her soul steeled with unbreakable determination. However she began to get nervous when Kirishima didn't answer her for a few seconds before he spoke.
"Raphtalia-chan..." he said in an almost eerie tone.
"Y-yes Eijiro-sama?" she asked nervously while looking down, wondering if she said the wrong thing... only to receive an enjoyable pat on the head causing her to look at him.
"Don't say anything like we're going to die during the wave or anything like that, because we wont! we have trained hard and we'll have each other's backs so you don't have to worry about that!" he told her with his shark-like grin, really her speech lifted his spirits and made him feel a bit better and helped him remove some anxiety he had about facing the wave.
"R-right!" she said with a big smile and a nod, they were not going to die, they were going to live and survive!
"Good, now tell Gregar-kun and Fuyu-chan to get ready since its getting close to when the wave hits." Kirishima told her since they only had around two minutes left.
Raphtalia nodded before going to inform the other two members of the small party of four.
Kirishima sighed shaking his head, it was almost time.
"Alright Kirishima-kun, we're ready to take on the wave!" Fuyu called out to him as he looked back, seeing them prepared and looking determined, causing him to smile.
Kirishima smiled and nodded to them as he switched to his [Magma rock shield] and stood by them as the timer for the wave counted down.

As the timer hit zero Kirishima and his party were surrounded in a blue light as they were transported to the site of the wave.
Site of the wave as it begins
Once the glow began to die down Kirishima and his party looked around and saw the sky turned red with dimensional rifts opening up and beginning to drop down monsters to invade and destroy everything.
"So, this is the wave..." Kirishima said as he saw various monsters landing in the forest and some flying through the sky. Looking downward he also saw the three heroes running to fight the monsters and presumably deal with the boss.
'Huh, maybe they actually have some common sense in them after all.' he thought as they disappeared from his sight, the reason for him thinking this was because he read in his help manual that once the boss of the wave is defeated the wave itself ends.
But just before he was about to tell his party that they were going to help someone else spoke before he could.
"Eijiro-sama look!" Raphtalia called out to him and as he turned back he saw she was pointing at Lute village.
"All the monsters are heading towards the village! at this rate they will be overrun within minutes!" she explained as Kirishima looked back out to see a lot of the monsters were in fact heading there, really it wasn't much of a difficult choice to what he was going to do.
"Alright guys we need to protect the village! the other three heroes can deal with the wave boss themselves!" he said as he began running towards Lute to do his duty of protecting others! after all that's what the shield was made for.
His party members immediately followed his lead as they to began running to help save everyone who was about to get attacked.
Within Lute village
"B-back off you monsters!" a man yelled at a group of undead to were marching forwards towards him and his brothers-at-arms, they weren't knights or anything, they didn't even have proper training but they will protect their home even if it cost them their lives!
Just as one of the zombie warriors were about to bring down their axe on the poor fool, a green floating shield appeared between them and blocked the offending weapon before it like its fellow comrades were quickly cut down by a sword glowing with light.
"Hey! are all of you ok!?" Kirishima yelled as he punched the head off of another zombie.
"W-what? sh-shield hero!?" one of the villagers exclaimed in shocked surprise, they hadn't expected one of the heroes to come to their rescue and were fully prepared to sacrifice themselves for the cause of protecting their home.
"Quickly gather up whoever you can and evacuate the village! me and my party will protect you while you get away!" Kirishima ordered them as he turned around to block a swing from a sword-wielding skeleton, before it was frozen in ice and he simply punched it breaking it into pieces.
"Raphtalia-chan! Fuyu-chan! protect the villagers while they get to safety! Gregar your with me, we're going to kill every monster we find while protecting the villagers!" Kirishima gave out orders to his team to which they all nodded and separated to do their given tasks.
Just as ordered Raphtalia and Fuyu focused on evacuating villagers into the cave system which the party previously cleared out a few days after the monster dog incident, it was pretty much the safest place to be during the waves for the people of Lute since their was only a single entrance which could easily be guarded from both ground and flying monsters.
"Hiya!" Raphtalia cried out as she cut down another few monsters with her sword glowing with her light magic causing it to do more damage to the undead foes, the reason she knew what type of magic she had and how to filter it into her weapon was because of her class-up she chose.
"Zweite ice spears!" Fuyu called out the name of her spell as several ice spears formed from the moisture in the air and shot at a ground of undead marching towards them. And lets just say these undead are now permanently dead.
Meanwhile with Kirishima he was running around the village drawing all of the attention of the monsters to himself so they wouldn't go after the residents of the village.
"Airstrike shield!" he called out as the green shield appeared between some of the villagers and a group of undead, which one of them got promptly punched by Kirishima who then lead them away since their attention was now on him.
"Shield prison!" he surrounded a small group of a mother and her two kids in a ball of shields which deflected the undead wasps which were going to attacked them, causing the wasps attention to also be drawn towards him as he ran by.
He then noticed a huge armour-clad zombie ahead of him and, thinking quickly, he decided he could use this to his advantage. So he ran up to the motherfucker, picked him up, and then hurled the bitch at the horde following behind him killing quite a few of them.
Over with Gregar he was employing a similar tactic except it was him picking up the closest monster and tossing them at the other monsters making use of his titanic strength, especially the flying monsters since as of right now he had no other way to attack them unless he jumped off a roof or something.
"Take this you sons of bitches!" he yelled out throwing two of the big armoured zombies at groups of smaller one causing many of them to be killed from the tossed behemoths combined with the force of Gregar's mighty throws.
All around, they were doing a pretty good job of protecting the villagers and the village itself from danger.
With the other three heroes and the wave boss
"Hya!" Motoyasu shouted as he brought down his spear upon the chimera wave boss.
The chimera itself was pretty standard looking, a large body covered in red fur, a snake's body for a tail which was coloured in a sickly green, two large feathery wings despite the fact it didn't use them, and the three heads on its front with the middle head being that of a lion, the head to the left of it(when you're looking at it from the front) belonged to that of a goat, and the last head to the right of the lion's was a fucking dragon head!
As Motoyasu's spear pierced through its hide it roared out in pain and thrashed around enough to knock him off, throwing him prone on the ground, Itsuki saw this and started barraging the beast with arrows to force it away from the spear hero and towards Ren who was done prepping his attack.
"Hundred swords!" he called out as a hundred swords formed around him and flew at the boss, most hitting it and causing significant damage to it.
He just kinda wished Kirishima was there to tank hits and block attacks since he knew how hard this thing hits when it directly attacks, the gashes on his left arm can testify to that.
"Damn it! why wont this thing just die already?" Motoyasu semi-shouted in annoyance as he got back up on his feet with one of his party members casting a minor healing spell on him.
"I don't know! we've been wailing on it for about 6 strait minutes now so why wont it go down!?" Itsuki replied as he kept up his shots against the multi-headed beast which seemed to refuse to die no matter what they hit it with.
Granted, they had been partially focused on avoiding its attacks since none of them had defence stats high enough to survive more then 3-4 direct hits from it without healing.
They just guessed they'd have to hit it harder and faster then, so all three of them stay determined to put this chimera into the dirt!
Back in the village with Kirishima and Gregar
"ORAORAORAORA!" Kirishima repeatedly yelled out as he sent a fist at any monster within punching distance while leading around a giant herd of various monsters still chasing after him.
Meanwhile Gregar was in another part of the village brawling it out with a pack of zombie wolves, but with his sheer strength alone he was easily capable of throwing them around like yesterdays garbage, and you know what you do with garbage? you put it with the rest of the trash!
So grabbing two of the wolves necks he smashed their heads together and broke their necks before tossing their corpses into their soon-to-be-dead allies.
Back with Kirishima he noticed that Raphtalia was running towards him, so throwing one of the zombies into the horde he had following him knocking quite a few down, and causing the ones he didn't hit to trip over their fallen comrades.
"Raphtalia status report on the evacuation!" he called out to her while blocking one of the armoured-clad giants from bringing its weapon down on him, which Raphtalia promptly executed swiftly.
"According to the villagers everyone is out of the village and in the caves!" she yelled back before cutting down more of the surrounding monsters.
"Good! that means we can focus on killing the monsters and keeping any more damage from happening to the village!" Kirishima said to her as he stopped a zombies sword from hitting his companion before Raphtalia sliced it to pieces.
Then they both noticed multiple flares of some kind flying into the air from outside of the village, before connecting in the middle and beginning to rain down fireballs on everything below, including them!
"Raphtalia get down!" he yelled at her as he switched to his [Light metal shield] while wrapping his cloak around her and raising his shield up to block the incoming attacks. None of which got through thanks to his absurdly high defence stat and the extra magic resistance he gains from his [Light metal shield] while its active.
"Haha! looks like we took care of all the monsters in the village boys! I'd say this is a job well done!" said a pompous prick with a mustache as he and his posse of knights walked through the now on fire and destroyed village.
"Eh, looks like you survived the attack shield hero, such a shame you didn't die like the rest of the monsters." the asshole said as he found Kirishima still alive and kicking, who was also giving him a slight glare which was understandable. How would you react to someone wanting to kill you?
Anyways, this pissed off Raphtalia so quick leaving the safety of Kirishima's presence she attempted to cut the man down, only to be blocked by several of the knights. Despite this the captain still fell on his ass in fright since he didn't expect her to be able to move so fast.
"How dare you launch that attack when you knew Eijiro-sama was here!" she yelled in outrage at these idiotic simpletons for their moronic actions.
The captain, having gotten back up from falling on his ass like a cowardly loser, glared at her with much more arrogance then he could ever hope to back up.
"You damn demi! why don't you learn your place!" he shouted like a total prick.
"Raphtalia, calm down and get back over here." Kirishima said with a surprising amount of calmness despite the circumstances of the situation.
Raphtalia, albeit reluctantly, gave a nod to him before she retreated back to his side, but did not sheath her sword in case these morons decided they wanted their lives to be forfeit.
"Good that you listened to him girl, if you got in the way of our job then we would have had to kill you!" the captain said with an almost endless amount of smugness.
"I have just one question though." Kirishima said while looking directly at the captain.
"Eh, what is it?" the captain replied while looking annoyed.
"Are you sure you can take on that big guy?" Kirishima asked as he casually pointed to the hulking behemoth armour-clad zombie which was standing literally right behind the captain about to strike him with its weapon, causing the prick to fall back in fear of seeing his death as the monster brought its axe down on him.
However just before it could connect its strike it was blocked by Kirishima who was casually blocking the weapon, with his hand, that was unprotected aside from his armoured glove's leather strap going across his palm.
"Yeah, I didn't think so, Raphtalia!" Kirishima said before calling out to his companion who immediately dealt with the giant along with all the other monsters around him and the knights.
And then the duo began a deadly dance with the monsters still coming towards them, with Kirishima blocking attacks and smashing some heads in, while Raphtalia used her agility to cut down anything hostile which got to close while letting Kirishima block attacks coming for her.
While most of the knights were looking on in amazement at the skill Kirishima and Raphtalia displayed, captain douche was just pissed he was getting shown up by the "Shield devil" and his companion.
"Grrr... knights come on! we're going to support the three heroes!" he shouted indignantly as he turned and started to walk away. But some of the knights didn't agree with this and the vice-captain decided to give out his own order.
"Get into formation to support the shield hero!" he ordered the knights with his sword raised to the sky with most of the knights following suit before they got into formation and began fighting monsters as well.
"Look Eijiro-sama! the knights are helping us!" Raphtalia said while still focusing on chopping up zombies and whatever else came crawling out of the woodwork.
"Alright! looks like we got some backup now!" Kirishima replied cheerfully as he knocked a zombie wasp out of the air before stomping on it.
"Bunch of damn fools..." the captain said before cowardly running off to join the three heroes along with some knights who are big time shield hero haters.
None of them payed attention, however, since they were all to focused on combating the monsters that threaten the lives of the innocents.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWR!" just then a booming roar echoed across the battlefield as the three headed chimera boss the three heroes were fighting earlier appeared and was looking directly at the shield and sword duo and the knights. But to explain how this thing got here we need a quick flashback.
About 3-4 minutes ago with the heroes and chimera boss

Stab!
Both Motoyasu and Ren were throwing one attack after another against the chimera while Itsuki recovered from a surprise attack from behind by a zombie wasp which stung him in the shoulder and was currently chugging down a few HP potions to recover.
Then the two both jumped back to avoid the retaliation of the dragon head's fire breath.
"Meteor thrust/slash!" both of them called out their strongest attacks which they launched at the beast in unison which both struck true and dealt a good chunk of damage against the beast which stumbled back and all three heads glared at the two of them with hatred burning in all of its eyes.
"Dammit! even our strongest skill are ineffective at taking this thing down fully!?" Ren yelled out in confusion, it was never this difficult in brave star online so why was it so hard to beat this boss? were they playing on hard mode during the waves or something?
Just then everyone heard a loud Boom! come from the nearby village which drew attention away from battle and towards the source of the noise.
Apparently the chimera found this more interesting then fighting the heroes because it decided to take off in the direction of the village.
"Shit! its getting away!" Motoyasu called out before charging after the beast, it wasn't going to escape on his watch!
Then he noticed it was much faster then he thought it was, apparently it was going to escape on his watch.
"Come on everyone lets go!" Itsuki called to the group before they all began to give chase to the run away chimera boss.
And that's what happened to draw the chimera towards the village.
Back in the present time
"What the hell!?" Kirishima yelled out before blocking a claw swipe from the chimera and then a follow-up headbutt from the goat head which knocked him back a few metres.
"So, this is the wave boss huh?" he said as he stood back up and switched to his [Buzzsaw shield] he may not use it against humans but he is definitely ok with using it against monsters.
"Eijiro-sama are you ok!?" Raphtalia called out to him while jumping back from the chimera's snake tail trying to take a bite out of her.
"Yeah I'm fine!" he replied before blocking the lion head from biting him by sticking his shield in its mouth, and then blocked a headbutt from the goat head using his left hand just as the dragon head bit down on his hardened right shoulder.
He then started spinning his shield causing it to saw through the inside of the lion head's mouth and making it pull back in pain, he then slashed at the dragon head which quickly pulled back but still got a nasty gash on the side of its neck.
Kirishima then used his free fist to punch the shit out of the goat head he was holding back, and then jumped back to make distance between himself and the beast before switching to his [Queen balloon shield] and let out a small horde of all sorts of different coloured balloons, orange, red, blue, and several other different types of balloon monsters, all of which quickly jumped forward and began to swarm the chimera biting all over its large body.
Reacting to the smaller enemies all over it the chimera had its snake tail bite into balloons to pop them while the dragon head breathed fire all over its own body to burn the smaller opponents off of it. However, Kirishima just kept spitting out more balloons faster then the chimera could pop even when the goat head joined in on taking out the minor annoyances it still couldn't kill them faster then Kirishima was throwing them out.
However he knew he couldn't keep doing this forever since making the balloons took up his SP and he has far from an infinite amount of it, so he's using this time he currently has to come up with a strategy to deal with the chimera.
Then he noticed Gregar run out from a corner to his left and was looking at the chimera, ready to go in and fight it. Meanwhile to his right Fuyu ran onto the scene with her staff at the ready. And Raphtalia was behind the chimera looking at him and waiting for instructions on what to do.
So looking each of them in the eyes they silently came up with a plan to deal with the chimera, and then they all burst into action.
Kirishima was the first to charge in and punched both the dragon and goat heads to get their attention before jumping back a bit and summoned an [Airstrike shield] to block the dragon head's fire breath retaliation attack.
"zweite ice prison!" Fuyu then called out her spell as she froze the dragon head and the front left portion of the chimera's body in solid ice.
"RAGH!" Gregar then came in and slammed both of his axes into the neck of the goat sinking them in pretty deep before he dislodged them and leaped back leaving the goat head to bleed out.
Then while the snake tail was distracted looking at what was happening with its front heads, Raphtalia came in behind it and cut it off from the body with her glowing sword, she then leaped on top of its body and repeatedly slashed across its back while running up it before stabbing the lion head with her blade, killing the chimera.
Since the boss of the wave was defeated the sky returned to normal and monsters stopped flooding into the world.
Pulling her sword out of its skull Raphtalia leaped down and regrouped with her friends who were already standing next to each other.
"Good job Raphtalia-chan!" Kirishima congratulated her as he sat down on the ground and leaned back on his hands, killing a boss monster after defending an entire village was far from being easy work after all.
"Thank you, Eijiro-sama." she replied with a smile as she sheathed her sword and sat down next to him, she wasn't that tired but it was nice that she could now relax at least a little bit.
Thud! Gregar, however, had decided to just flop onto his back and stretch out his limbs, causing the others to sweatdrop.
"Well, I'm going to go put out the fires cause by the attack the knights launched(2) so, I'll see you in a little while Kirishima-kun." Fuyu said before walking off to deal with the fires plaguing the village.

...
"Sigh, welp, I should probably cut off some of the chimera to feed to my shield." Kirishima said after a few moments, but before he could stand up Raphtalia pulled his head onto her lap causing him to blush like there's no tomorrow.
"Rest now, feed the shield later. Its not like the corpse is going anywhere right?" Raphtalia said to him while stroking his hair gently.
"...Fine..." he reluctantly agreed seeing as she probably wouldn't let him move unless he rested for at least a few minutes. Besides, it was pretty comfortable.
And so our heroes have fought off the wave, but what will happen within the aftermath of the wave? you'll just have to wait and see until next time viewers!
Finally got this done after like, 10 years or somethings, anyways thank you for your patience with the long update time everybody, anyways lets get onto the numbers shall we?
1: You may think that the shield would consider the armoured gloves as weapons right? wrong! they aren't gauntlets or anything, they are simply armoured gloves, if they so happen to increase Kirishima's punching power then its just bonus damage for him.
2: In case you're wondering how Fuyu knew the knights launched the attack and caused the damage I'll give the a simple answer, magic is bullshit.

Dude, I'm sorry to say this but I'm not going to answer any of your reviews. I apologise but hear me out on the reason why. I love the fact that you post reviews but you just post to much, I mean I'm pretty sure your reviews alone make up like, 20% of my reviews alone. its impressive as hell but its just waaaaaaaaaaaay to much dude, so sorry but this time none of your reviews are going to be answered.
I may answer your future reviews but you're to limit yourself to two or three reviews, you go over this limit and your reviews shall be ignored as spam, got it?

JAKEkenstein: Good class-up idea but unfortunately it didn't make the cut so sorry.
redburningdragon: The [Dragon hourglass shield] may have been like that in canon but since this is my fanfiction I can do whatever the hell I want with it. Interesting class-up idea but since you didn't give me much detail on it I didn't choose it so sorry. And the shield idea is good but don't you think a fort shield would give more then just 10 DEF?
antgigi4: I already knew about the shield's adaptability and I already answered the second part of your review in a previous one so if you haven't you should probably go and check on all the previous reviews so you don't accidentally ask about something I already answered.
RIO23: The [Dragon hourglass shield] can already teleport Kirishima and his crew, its just that he couldn't use that function without being LV 50 first. and don't you worry about designs, not everyone is born with an eye for what looks good or not.

hmnaftrall: Thank you for understanding and as for how I write my story, I'll give you a basic rundown of how I do it. First I picture which direction I want the story to go with, you know like what scenes I want to put in and what-not, then once I begin to write the story I try to stick to that concept but may deviate from it so that the story makes sense, and once I have written the scene down I go through it to look for spelling errors and other such while maybe changing a few sentences to better fit in with the story in general. So do you understand all that? if not then its ok.
Darkdragondude1234: Quite the unique shield idea, but if I were to integrate it into the story then it would have to be pretty late into the fanfiction.
maskedkeeper: Ok so I'll break this reply up into two parts for simplicity. 1: I may have said kirishima couldn't taste his food but his sense of taste did come back once he was taking care of Raphtalia, its just at the time he was to pissed off by bitch's betrayal that he couldn't taste anything, but once Raphtalia came into the picture he regained his ability to taste again. make sense? probably not but I don't care. and 2: Its less that Kirishima is using Raphtalia to attack for him and more like he just kinda forgot that she was his slave to begin with, yeah. He literally forgot Raphtalia was listed as his slave. And I never said Kirishima wasn't fighting his own battles, he just likes to fight with Raphtalia since they work so well together.
