I would just like to tell you that I am very new to this stuff.
Miu woke up with a snort.
After falling off of the bed she was laying on and onto the floor, she stood up and looked around.
"H-huh?" She breathed, gazing around the room. It was a bedroom, a fairly big one as well. It had bright pink walls and white furniture. Many gadgets and inventions covered the tabletops.
"Wow."
Miu walked towards a small machine that was sitting on top on the bedside table. It was a bit hard to figure out what it was, but she seemed to know what it was for.
Miu walked over to another gadget, one that took pictures every 2 hours, it said so on a sign next to it. She looked at the pictures in the camera roll and saw herself asleep in the bed she had fallen from.
"I look hideous." Miu spoke aloud as she looked at herself in the mirror that was in front of her. She set the camera down so that it was facing the floor and turned back towards the bed. It was also white and pink. "Seems really comfortable. I wonder..."
She let her thoughts wander, not noticing that a section in the wall had opened and out if it came a peculiar someone.
"Hey Miu, how are you doing?" A voice spoke out, bringing Miu back to her senses.
"Aaa!" Miu screamed, "Who are you?" She grabbed the contraption on the bedside table and held it threateningly.
"Ah! It's me, Kaede!" The person spoke once again.
Miu thought that she recognized that name, but couldn't tell where it was from. She remained her posture and said, "I don't know who that is! Stay back!"
The person called Kaede looked quite shocked, as if Miu knew this person. "W-what? You know me, don't you? We met in the warehouse, I got executed, then you died a two weeks later and we're friends. Miu?" Miu had crept up closer to the Kaede person, and now started to circle her.
Miu didn't respond, but struck the Kaede person with the machine on the head. They fell to the floor.
Once the Kaede girl had fallen, Miu let out a shaky breath that she'd been holding. She put down the weapon she used and started to inspect Kaede.
She didn't find much on her except for some marks on her neck, as if she'd been hanged. This Kaede girl also held a photo that consisted of three people she didn't know and the Kaede girl and Miu watching them in the background, but as if they weren't fully there.
Miu gasped when she saw it and dropped it immediately. She suddenly felt as if somebody was choking her from behind, but nobody was there. After a minute of this pain, she started to see black spots appear, and soon enough she blacked out.
Miu awoke once again on a bed she didn't recognize.
She slowly opened her eyes and saw white. Then she heard voices, but she couldn't make out what they were saying.
After a few minutes she could hear the murmurs a little better, although there was always a person that spoke too quietly for Miu to hear.
"Do you think Miu attacked her?" Voice 1.
"Why would she knock our leader out cold?" Voice 2.
"I don't know, but she took out a photo that Kaede was carrying." Voice 1, "She seems to have experienced being choked again, and that's how she fainted."
Voice 3 spoke, but Miu couldn't hear them.
"One of the inventions that Miu made, the one where it punches you if you say a dirty joke." Voice 1.
"Why that one though?" Voice 2. "The boxing glove wasn't even extended."
"That I don't know-" Voice 1 started, but was interrupted.
"Shh! She's waking up!" Another voice spoke up, maybe Voice 3.
Miu heard a scuffling of feet come right next to her as her vision cleared a bit. She saw three dark figures around the bed.
"Miu?" This was Voice 3 speaking now, "Do you require my assistance?"
Miu looked over to Voice 3, then closed her eyes and soon fell back asleep.
Before she drifted off, she heard one thing though, and that was another person, Voice 4 saying, "Hey! Let me see the *female dog*let!"
When Miu woke up again, she opened her eyes quicker this time, and looked around the room.
The room was like the infirmary from Harry Potter, except it had white walls and was more like a hospital. There were about 8 beds in the room, but only four were being used at the moment.
Miu didn't see any of the other beds except for the one across her, so she focused on that one.
The bed held the Kaede girl that she had knocked out a few minutes ago, how long had it been? Miu thought back and tried to remember if she saw the time anywhere.
She remembered that the photo on the camera showed the time, and thought that it might've said either 6 or 8 am, she couldn't remember.
But here, the clock said 10:45. Miu assumed it mean AM because there were windows that were allowing light to pour into the room.
Miu sat up in the bed and continued to look at where the Kaede girl lay. It seemed that she was still unconscious even a couple of hours.
Wow, I must've hit her hard. Miu thought as she looked at the clock once more.
She looked over to the right, where some flowers and a tray of food were. She looked at the tray for a little bit, then picked up a sandwich and started inspecting it.
While she was inspecting it, the doors that lead out opened, and in walked a woman with short gray hair and a maid outfit.
The woman walked over to Miu the second she saw her sitting up, and as she got closer scars all over her body became more visible, but even her clothes couldn't cover them all.
Miu backed up a little bit and looked at the woman nervously.
"You're awake, are you feeling well?" The woman spoke.
"Um," Miu was anxious, she didn't know how to reply. "Uh, who are you?"
Miu sat in the bed as the person who introduced herself as Kirumi Tojo, the ultimate Maid, ran out of the room after excusing herself.
Miu turned back to the sandwich she still had in her hands, and after determining that it was safe to eat, she took a bite.
She quickly ate the sandwich and looked back to the tray of food. There was also a cup of coffee and a few pieces of candy. Miu took a piece of candy and started to unwrap it, when the doors once again opened up and another person came in.
This person, wasn't exactly a person. They were a humanoid robot, with white hair and curved blue eyes. They walked right over to Miu once their eyes saw her.
It just so happened to be that their eyes locked together while the robot was still approaching. Miu saw those eyes and suddenly couldn't stop herself from staring at them.
"Good morning Miu, are you feeling well?" The robot spoke and made Miu blink back into reality.
"U-uh" Miu startled and looked at the piece of candy that she was turning in her hands.
"Keebo, give her a break, something obviously happened to her," Miu heard another person say, "Kirumi said that Miu doesn't even remember her."
Miu looked up and saw another cute boy patting the robot's shoulder. Both his eyes and hair were bright green, and he was wearing a blue and black striped shirt with a necklace and bracelets.
"Oh, I didn't hear you come in, Rantaro," The robot replied, "What happened anyway?"
Rantaro shook his head, "I don't know man, all we know is that Miu attacked Kaede for some reason between 8 and 10 am, between when the cameras took pictures."
"So I guess there is a use towards the cameras." The robot looked back towards Miu, who had listened to their whole conversation and was now chewing on a piece of candy. "Sorry." They said.
"It's alright, I guess." Miu said back to the robot. "So what are your guy's names?" She leaned backwards, her eyes sparkling with interest.
"Uh, oh right." The robot was surprised for a moment, before replying, "I'm K1-B0, the ultimate Robot, but call me Keebo if you'd like." Miu nodded along.
"I'm Rantaro Amami, you can call me the ultimate Adventurer or the ultimate Survivor." The cute boy said in turn after Keebo.
"Well nice to meet ya," Miu said after they introduced themselves. "I suppose you already know me, since after all I've got 'amnesia'." She said jokingly.
"So Miu, do you remember anything?" Rantaro questioned.
"Do I? Last thing I remember is being at home in my bed!" Miu exclaimed. She swung her arms up and stared at the two like they'd insulted her.
"W-woah! Calm down! It was just a question." Keebo shot back.
"Aah!" Miu quickly shrunk and meekly replied, "I-I'm s-s-sorry!"
Both Rantaro and Keebo stepped back a little.
"Miu? I'm sorry!" Keebo rushed back towards the bed and tried to comfort a shaking Miu.
After Miu and the other two had calmed down, Miu ate another piece of candy and asked, "So earlier that Kaede girl mentioned something about being executed and me dying," Miu put the candy wrapper she was holding onto the tray. "Is that true?"
Rantaro diverted his eyes towards where Kaede was sleeping, while Keebo looked at Miu with a worried face. "I-it's true, everyone in this building is dead."
"E-everyone?" Miu said, "Even me?" Keebo nodded. "W-what?"
Everyone was silent and alone with their thoughts until Rantaro said, "There's at least fifty-five buildings actually. All of them have dead people living in them, most of them have less than 14 inhabitants. A few have hundreds." He never took his eyes off of Kaede while saying it. Miu looked at Rantaro's watery eyes with sympathy.
Rantaro continued on reluctantly, "Each building represents it's own show. All of them died for the entertainment of the outside world. We were from there, and loved it. We loved it so much that we would risk our lives in it! For over fifty times we watched people die, and we laughed about it!" Rantaro stopped, as tears were falling down his face. He held up his hands and covered his face, his mouth quivering.
Keebo saw this as well and quickly brought him outside. This left Miu alone again. She quickly glanced at the clock that said 11:00 and looked towards Kaede, who was still laying down on the bed, unconscious.
Miu felt her own lip quivering and held up her hand to stop it. After a few silent minutes while Miu thought about what Rantaro said, she heard a sound coming from where Kaede lay, but didn't look up to see what it was.
But she looked up as soon as she heard someone say, "Miu?"
