Sup people! Welcome back!
We'll cut straight to the chase. So, to pick off from Chapter Two, Naruto becomes a genin, and is assigned to Team 7, just like canon. I know that if Naruto wasn't so cocky and stubborn, then he wouldn't be the dead-last for the class. However, let's just assume that his ninjutsu and genjutsu is pretty terrible. That makes him go into Team 7. However, in the fight here, you won't see that. :D
Anyways, Kakashi will assign the squad to the bell test, and we all know they will pass. However, the fight will be juuuust a bit different. ;D
After this, the journey to the Land of Waves will commence!
As always, feel free to leave a review and ask any questions.
I'm not making any money from this, I chose to write this for fun.
I present: Chapter Three. (I know, it's corny.)
Naruto twitched slightly as he felt Sakura's glare zoning in on him. This was going on as soon as teams were assigned. Why couldn't he just be with Hinata or Shikamaru?
At least he had Sasuke on his team. Not the best, but still, they were on decent terms. Still, Sakura was gonna just glare at him all day.
Naruto finally got fed up as he got up from his meditating. "Do you need something?" he asked irritably. Sakura looked a bit surprised by his outburst, but still recovered quickly. "Why would you think that?" she said snidely. Naruto rolled his eyes. "Seeing as you keep glaring at me and silently mutter about stupid teammates, I think it's safe to say you have a problem with me, Sakura."
That stopped her. "Well…"
Naruto just turned his back on her (Hey, don't ignore me!), and moved his attention to Sasuke.
"Hey."
Sasuke said nothing, but his eyes flickered toward Naruto. After a moment of silence, Sasuke looked at him. "What's that?" he asked, jerking his head toward Naruto's belt. Naruto shrugged. "A scroll from my clan. Apparently they were allies with Konoha." Naruto sounded a bit bitter when he said it.
Sasuke's expression was blank. Still, there was a hint of sympathy in his face.
"Where'd you get the sword?" he asked, obviously changing the subject.
"Some awesome place called Higurashi's. Gramps bought it for me." Surprise was painted on Sasuke's face, so clearly that his fangirls would pay their life savings for a photograph. "The Hokage bought it for you?"
Naruto nodded. "How much did it cost?"
Naruto thought for a moment. "Approximately 520,660 Ryō."
"Well, it'd be a while before I could buy something like this. Is it made of steel?"
"Gramps said it looked like it, but the shop owner insisted it was titanium."
Sakura looked with horror as her childhood crush was engaged in conversation with the most annoying kid on Earth. Why wouldn't Sasuke just talk to her?! The pink-haired girl clenched her fists. She was gonna get her revenge on Naruto, whatever it took.
—XxX—
"Yo."
Naruto looked up from his book to see a Jōnin with shocking white hair, swifted to the side. A mask covered most of his face, while his headband was tilted, hiding his left eye. "So you're our Jōnin sensei?" Naruto asked. The shinobi nodded. "HEY!" Sakura hollered. "YOU'RE TWO HOURS LATE! WE'VE BEEN WAITING HERE FOR FOREVER!"
God damn, Sakura was loud. The teacher even had to plug up his poor ears with chakra. "Anyways," he said, coughing slightly, "I need you guys to follow me."
Then he flashed to the top of the Hokage's building.
"Oh come on," Sasuke growled. "We haven't learned the Body Flicker Technique yet."
"Alright, I want you guys to tell me a bit about yourself. Your name, your likes, your dislikes, your hobbies, and dreams for the future," explained Kakashi. He pointed at Sasuke. "Alright, Emo Kid, you go first."
Sasuke hesitated. After a good five seconds, he spoke. "My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I don't like many things, and I dislike particular things. The only hobby I have is training. And my dream for the future… It will not be dream. I will make it a reality. I am going to restore the Uchiha clan, and I will exact my vengeance on a certain person." He spat out person as if the word was something sinister.
Naruto had an eyebrow raised, while Sakura was staring fervently. Kakashi just had a twinkle of acknowledgement in his one eye. As I thought, thought Kakashi.
"Alright, Blondie, you're going next," instructed Kakashi.
"Hey. I am Naruto Uzumaki. I like learning new ninja skills, the people that I love, and ramen. I don't really dislike anything. The only hobbies I have is training and pranking people. And my dream for the future is to be the Hokage." This caused Sakura to snort. Naruto shot a glare at her.
"Good," said Kakashi. "Alright, last up is pink hair."
"My name is Sakura Haruno! My likes are… I mean, I like… being a ninja. My dislikes are…"
"Well?" asked Kakashi.
"Naruto!" Sakura shouted. This caused Naruto to bristle a bit. (Still, that outburst hurt Naruto's sanity a bit.)
"Anyways, uhh… My hobbies are reading, doing puzzles and riddles, that sort of thing. My dream for the future is to be the best kunoichi. That's it, really."
"Great. You all have unique traits and I hope you all work well together. Anyways, we'll meet at the edge of the Gurandomanto Forest in one week. You should prepare then. Also," he added, "You shouldn't eat breakfast on that day. You'll puke."
As his body turned to smoke, Sakura turned to Sasuke. "So, Sasuke, wanna do something? I-I mean, like a teamwork activity, y'know," she said breathlessly.
"No thanks," the Uchiha replied, turning to Naruto. The pink-haired female watched, fuming, as Naruto and Sasuke once again struck in conversation.
"So, what are you gonna do?" asked Sasuke.
"I dunno. Kakashi-Sensei said this was a shinobi test, so we should expect some trickery. I'm just gonna eat breakfast anyway. If I do puke, then boo hoo," Naruto replied.
Sasuke thought for a moment. "Seems like a good plan. Can you do any jutsu?"
"Well, quite a few."
This surprised Sasuke momentarily. Damn, he thought. I need to train harder. "Which jutsu?"
"Ehhhh… There's Shadow Clone Jutsu, Wind Scythe Jutsu, Shadow Shuriken Jutsu, Wind Release: Air Bullets, Transformation, Substitution, Water Style: Water Bullets, and Gale Palm."
"Well…" Sasuke murmured. "Can you teach me one?"
"I don't see why not. I have a scroll from my clan, there's a whole bunch of jutsu."
"Can I see it?"
Naruto thought for a moment, then unclipped the scroll from his belt and handed it to Sasuke. Sasuke opened it up and looked through its contents. "Wind Release: Breakthrough, Reaper Death Seal, Uzumaki Healing Technique, Wind Release: Vacuum Great Sphere… This is really handy."
"How about Wind Release: Gale Palm? That could strengthen my fire techniques."
"Sure. Anyways, let's get going."
Sasuke nodded and turned to Sakura. "You said something about a teamwork exercise?"
"Y-yes," breathed Sakura. The Uchiha rolled his eyes. "Well, I changed my mind. Just imagine we're fighting an enemy shinobi."
"O-okay, Sasuke!" squealed the girl. Naruto sighed. This week gonna be painful for his mental health. Like, super painful.
"Sup."
"YOU'RE LATE AGAIN, SENSEI!"
"God damn, Sakura, turn it down a notch, will you?" Naruto asked irritably, rubbing his ears. The Haruno heiress nodded rather meekly.
Kakashi cleared his throat. "Anyways, your entire class has graduated. However, some of you may be going back to the Academy." He looked at his students' shocked and confused faces, and carried on. "The graduation ceremony was only to see who was worthy of becoming genin. You're new status isn't confirmed until you pass this test."
"Aw come on, how is that fair?" whined Naruto. "I have to agree," nodded Sakura glumly.
Kakashi's expression was steely. "Here, I make the rules. The shinobi world you will enter will examine whether you truly are ready to be a ninja."
"Now," Kakashi continued. "You are going to do the bell test. The objective is simple enough. Take these bells from me, and you pass," he said coolly, unclipping a set of silver jingle bells from his belt. Sasuke's eyes flashed. "There's only two bells," he observed.
Kakashi chuckled. "Exactly. The third person without a bell will be sent back to the Academy."
This made all three unofficial genin tense up. They all looked at each other. Would it be worth it if one of them would be sent back?
"Now, I have a clock here, which is set for noon. If you guys don't get the bells by then, you can't each lunch. If you guys do get them, then the other person will be tied up to the training post here and watch me each my food. Be smart about this," he added cheerfully.
He turned the dial on the clock, the mark on the twelve tick. He let it go, and it spun back to its original position, now slowly ticking its way back to the noon line.
"The test starts now!"
—XxX—
Sakura, Naruto, and Sasuke hid carefully, the dark green foliage masking their presence.
"You guys have a plan?" whispered Naruto. Sasuke shrugged. "We have to get the bells. But there's only two for a reason. Maybe a secret way to get all of us to pass?"
Naruto mulled over that for a couple seconds. "It's possible. But for now, let's try and snatch those things. I'll have my shadow clones jump Kakashi-Sensei, while Sasuke uses his fireball jutsu. Sakura… what can you do?"
"I got the some of the best strength scores in the class," she said proudly. Naruto nodded. "Umm, right. If you see an opening, try and take the bells. Okay, let's execute this."
—XxX—
Kakashi Hatake looked around. "Well, they certainly did hide themselves well. I wonder-"
He froze as he sensed chakra behind rushing towards him. He spun around, kicking a clone in the face. The next shadow clone blocked a kick, then leaped back. "Wind Release: Gale Palm!" Naruto pushed his hand out, a gigantic torrent of air flying towards Kakashi. He bent down, prepared to use an earth style jutsu of some kind, when Sasuke appeared, hand signs already formed. "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"
The already powerful flames were strengthened by Naruto's wind. Kakashi had to jump out of the way before the flames engulfed his body.
When Sasuke landed, Sakura ran towards him, a kunai in her hands. Kakashi took out his own and blocked an uppercut. He also noted that Sakura's arms were shaking slightly. That genjutsu must have worked on her. Kakashi probably overdid it, though.
Naruto came behind Kakashi, his sword in his hands. The blade landed on Kakashi's arm, but then the man puffed into a log.
"He substituted!" Naruto yelled to Sasuke. "Great," the brunette grumbled. "What now?"
"We should go back to back," suggested Sakura. The two boys nodded.
The trio formed a triangle formation, a tiny three-sided polygon of space behind each of their backs. Kakashi watched rather bemusedly as his most recent students were showing exactly what he wanted to see.
They reminded Kakashi fleetingly of another three-man squad. His memories wandered wistfully. Still.
Obito would be proud of these three.
—XxX—
Sasuke saw Kakashi first and hurled several shuriken at him. The jōnin blocked all of them and kept moving. Naruto blocked Kakashi's kunai with his sword, preventing him from stabbing Sasuke. Kakashi stepped back and aimed a kick for Naruto's midsection, but a raised knee blocked Kakashi's foot. Sakura swung a powerful right hook, which caught Kakashi off guard. He blocked the punch with his arms, but still was blasted back slightly from the sheer force. Sasuke then grabbed the bells, but Kakashi somersaulted back, landing on his feet lightly. He watched as Naruto formed hand signs. What kind of jutsu would Naruto do now?
"Wind Release: Air Bullets!" As Naruto fired off giant pellets of wind, Sasuke jumped in. "Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Flame!"
Together, Naruto and Sasuke shouted, "Scorch Release: Flying Flame Missile Style One!"
"What!? A combination jutsu?" said Kakashi, who looked solely surprised for the first time. He regained his bearings after a millisecond and immediately crouched down. "Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall!"
The defensive earth worked against the fire and wind, but the combustion power was too high. A JUICY explosion went off, sending everybody backwards.
Kakashi managed to grab hold of a tree branch, and when the dust cleared, he dropped down to scan his surroundings. Immediately, he saw that Sakura and Naruto were still up; Sasuke was out of sight.
The former ANBU flicked a kunai out, eyeing Naruto's sword. Sakura went in with the first strike, aiming a kick at Kakashi's face, but was dodged. Naruto then went in for the opening, reaching for the bells. The teacher immediately booted Naruto right in the nose. Then he puffed into ashy smoke. Kakashi silently cursed as he realized that this Naruto was a clone the entire time.
Sasuke was meanwhile behind, while Sakura went in on the offensive again. Kakashi forced Sakura back, and twirled to face Sasuke.
The boy's eyes were steely and dark, his fingers gripping a kunai tightly. There was just silence for a while, when a voice yelled, "Water Style: Water Bullet!"
Kakashi had to leap out of the way before Sasuke could reach for the bells. The water bullet instead hit Sasuke, but he had used substitution into a fallen tree branch, instead of getting knocked back into the grass.
Sakura stepped back, then fired a bunch of shuriken. Kakashi dodged all of them, and additionally grabbed one. He flung it back toward Sakura, who blocked the star with her kunai. Sasuke soon leaped out of the trees, his eyes glinting. "Wind Release: Gale Palm!" he yelled. He thrust his hand out midair, and the wind hurled toward Team 7's jōnin. Kakashi dodged the attack, and watched Naruto charge toward him. "Wind Release: Wind Scythe Jutsu!"
Sasuke joined in with, "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"
"Scorch Release: Flying Flame Missile Style Two!" they both shouted.
A gigantic ball of whipping wind and flame hurled toward Kakashi, whistling a song of doom. Kakashi immediately formed some hand signs, and a humongous ball of water from the lake rose up. "Water Style: Giant Water Orb!"
Naruto pushed Sasuke out of the way, then used the Earth Headhunter Technique. When Naruto emerged, Kakashi said, "I think you all pass."
"Huh?" said Sakura, who had retreated back into the clearing. "How'd we pass?"
"You see," explained Kakashi, "The true purpose of the bell test was to not get the bells. It was to see whether you all could work together. Teamwork was the key to this test. As a shinobi, you must see underneath the underneath. True, Naruto might've eaten anyway, but disloyal people are worse than rule-breakers."
The group of genin nodded. Meanwhile, the real Naruto had taken the bells from Kakashi. When the jōnin looked behind him, he saw a cheeky blonde kid with an infuriating smirk, holding the two bells in his hand. "Looks like I passed, Kakashi-Sensei!"
Everybody else rolled their eyes. "Boss, we already passed," said the shadow clone.
The real Naruto looked very confused now. "Huh?"
• One fortnight later •
"Come on, Gramps, why not?!"
A certain Naruto Uzumaki was complaining to his surrogate grandfather, Hiruzen Sarutobi. Sarutobi sighed good-naturedly. "Naruto, I know that you want some excitement, but you are still a genin. You must start off with E-rank and D-rank missions. Missions ranked higher than that are a step higher than genin-level quests. The outside is a dangerous place, Naruto."
"Well, we've already done about twenty two D-ranks already! At least give us a C-rank mission," Naruto whined. Hiruzen thought for a moment. "Very well, then," he finally decided. "I will gvie you a C-rank mission."
"Wait, really? Awesome! So what is it?"
Hiruzen flipped through his mission log. "Ah, here is a suitable one. You shall escort a bridge builder back to his home in the Land of Waves. His name is Tazuna, and he says that he wants to be unharmed by any thieves or bandits."
Kakashi nodded slowly. "Alright," he said. "Well, where's the client? Can't exactly escort him if he's invisible."
The Hokage chuckled as he called in Tazuna.
An old, rather tall man, about 67 years old, walked in. He wore a sleeveless maroon V-neck shirt, with an obi strapped around his waist. He wore pants the same color as his shirt, and a long white towel was hanging around his neck. Tazuna also donned a pointed straw traveling hat, and a pipe in his mouth was spewing out smoke.
"So these are the shinobi assigned to guard me? A bunch pf kids?" asked Tazuna.
Naruto bristled at that.
Tazuna stared at Kakashi. "I… Do I know you?"
Kakashi went into a thinking pose. "No, don't think so. Why?"
Tazuna stared for another two seconds, then shook it off. "Nevermind."
"Uh huh. Anyways," said Kakashi, "We'll head off in a couple hours. Be prepared, you three, because this won't be like the Academy."
Team 7 nodded sharply.
"Naruto, wait just one minute."
The blonde looked back. Gramps was staring at him, a blank expression on his face. "Okay," Naruto shrugged.
As Team 7 and Tazuna went on ahead, Naruto stayed back. "So what's up, Gramps?" he asked.
"I have some questions for you, Naruto," replied Hiruzen, rather seriously. He turned to the ANBU guards. "Seal the room," he ordered. They nodded simultaneously, immediately placing Fūinjutsu seals on the windows and door. A closed, dark feeling fell over the room. "Now, Naruto," began Hiruzen. "Question One."
Naruto sat down, slightly nervous. He knew that Gramps could be serious when he wanted to. What inquiries did the Third have?
"I watched you and your teammates participate in the bell test. I must say, I was deeply impressed on your cooperation with Sasuke and Sakura. Where did you learn the jutsu you used? The Uzumaki scroll I gave you?"
Naruto nodded. "Ever since my fight with Mizuki, I seemed to have gotten much better at learning ninjutsu. I've gotten Air Bullets, Gale Palm, Wind Scythe. and Water Bullets down. Wind Release: Breakthrough is coming pretty neat, too."
Hiruzen smiled proudly. "Very nice. Question two. I have watched your training while doing D-ranks. I must admit, I didn't think Jiraiya would come to you so soon," he mused. "I am very perplexed, however, as too how you managed to learn the Rasengan so quickly. The Fourth took approximately three years designing and perfecting the jutsu."
"Ah, yeah, that. "So, when I was waiting for Mizuki to arrive, Kurama was talking to me. My chakra control was abysmal at first, but he guided me through the steps. He taught me how to rotate my chakra through my hand. I had managed to create a tiny version of the Rasengan version by the time Mizuki arrived. When I encountered Pervy Sage, he taught me how to create the normal version."
Hiruzen grinned. "Well, I should've known my former pupil wanted to teach you it so quickly."
Naruto looked shocked. "You're Jiraiya's teacher?" he blurted. Hiruzen laughed and nodded. "Wow, you're way older than I thought, Gramps."
Sarutobi cocked an eyebrow. "I wonder how old you thought I originally was, Naruto."
(Flashback, baby)
Naruto had just walked out of Hokage Tower, his back aching. Man, tilling earth for farmers was definitely slave labor.
Naruto stopped at the edge of the river. "Shadow Clone Jutsu," he mumbled. Three clone spawned around him. The four Narutoes looked at each other. "Soooo… What's up?" one of them asked. "Ehhh, let's practice the Rasengan," suggested the original Naruto. Clone #2 shrugged. "I'm down."
—XxX—
"You know, you have to contain the chakra in your hand. Your Rasengan is too dynamic," said a voice behind Naruto. When he turned around, he looked to see an old man, probably in his fifties. He was tall and well-built, just like Asuma-Sensei. He donned a peculiar, horned headband, which was emblazoned with the word oil. He wore a camo green kimono and pants, with a red sleeveless jacket. His sandals looked like cleats. Red lines went under his eyes, and he had a shaggy white mane of hair. He had a giant scroll strapped to his back.
"Huh? Who the heck are you?" asked Naruto.
A imperial smirk crawled onto the man's face. "I'm glad you asked, boy!" he crowed. He bit his thumb, then slammed his palm onto the ground. Smoke clouds appeared all over him, clouding his presence. "For I am the great shinobi of the Leaf, the legendary Toad Sage of Mount Myōboku, master of ninjutsu, lord of the amphibious species, savior of women, I am…"
The smoke cleared to see the man on top of a giant toad, orange with green specks. "Jiraiya," the man finished triumphantly.
Naruto and his clones looked unimpressed. "Uh huh," he shrugged. "So what did you say about the Rasengan?"
Jiraiya cleared his throat, looking a bit miffed and disappointed. "Well, you have to pack the chakra together tightly, and keep rotating it while keeping the chakra together. Watch."
He got off the toad, then held out his hand. A blue swirling sphere of chakra formed in his hand, slowly beginning to spin faster and faster.
Naruto looked back at the Rasengan in his clone's hand. It wasn't as nearly as big as Jiraiya's Rasengan, and the sphere wasn't perfectly round. The chakra also was loose and not as bright.
"How do you even know about this jutsu? It's an SS-rank village secret," Naruto said suspiciously. The man rolled his eyes. "I am from Konoha. Why do you think I'm here?" asked Jiraiya.
"Oh," said Naruto lamely. "Well, anyways, can you help me with the Rasengan?"
"Sure thing, Naru-" replied Jiraiya. Then he froze. Naruto stared at him. "How do you know my name?"
The sannin rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Errrrrrr… Who's Naruto?"
Naruto sent a death glare at the old man. "Explain."
"Alright, guys, you all ready?" asked Kakashi.
Sasuke shrugged, Sakura nodded, and Naruto yawned. Kakashi turned back to Tazuna. "We're leaving now," he said. "Is there anything else you forgot, or still need?"
Tazuna shook his head. "Well, we should head off now. The Land of Waves isn't exactly close to Konoha."
—XxX—
"Naruto, shut up!" hollered Sakura.
They had been walking for several hours now, and the last Uzumaki had been trying to do the Leaf Concentration Exercise for the last half hour. "Alright, don't lose your hair, woman," Naruto grumbled. Sasuke rolled his eyes. "That's an F-rank to E-rank level technique. We learned this back at the Academy, and yet I'm still surprised you can't do it. Loser," he smirked.
Naruto growled at Sasuke, prepared to retort back, but then Kakashi froze. Of course, everyone else stopped in their tracks.
The Copy Ninja whirled around, prepared to strike, but then got stabbed. Everyone watched with horror and shock as Kakashi sunk to the floor. "Kakashi-Sensei!" Naruto shouted. He rounded on the Mist ninja. "You bastards," Naruto growled. He then leapt forward.
The three Mist shinobi threw their chains, wrapping around Naruto. He grunted as he his the sandy ground, which snapped everyone out of their trance. Sasuke aggressively formed multiple hand signs, then crouched down. "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"
The fire slowly reached toward the ninja, who had to jump back to avoid the flames. Meanwhile, Naruto had managed to break free from his restraints, and groggily got up. "Wind Release: Wind Scythe Jutsu!"
A giant spinning stick of air came flying towards the Kirigakure shinobi. The Wind Scythe caught the center ninja right in the chest, knocking him out. Sakura stayed back, Tazuna right behind her. Sasuke pulled out a kunai and immediately charged toward the ninja. He blocked a slash and stabbed at the Kiri ninja's leg. He howled in pain and collapsed.
Two down, one to go.
The Mist shinobi narrowed his eyes. Then he clapped his hands together. "Water Style: Water Trumpet!" he bellowed.
Before he could release the jutsu, though, a silver-haired jōnin blocked his way. "Water Release: Water Trumpet!" he yelled.
He pulled down his mask, and cupped his hands, then blew out a giant stream of water, blasting the shinobi back. Kakashi quickly pulled his mask back up, then formed several more hand signs. "Earth Release: Stone Coffin Engulfing!"
Gray and brown rocks rose out of ground, slowly building a tightly packed wall around the Mist shinobi. When the last pebble sealed the air, Kakashi turned toward his students. "That was awesome, Kakashi-Sensei!" Naruto cheered.
Kakashi chuckled. "Thanks. You all did fantastic." Sasuke just raised an eyebrow. "So you weren't stabbed?"
His sensei shook his head. "That was just an Earth Clone. While you were distracted, it sunk and disintegrated into the earth."
Then he looked at Tazuna. "And I think somebody hasn't fully explained why two chūnin from Kirigakure came all the way to the Land of Fire," he drawled.
Tazuna looked down. "I-I'm sorry. Please forgive me. You see, there is a man called Gato. He is very greedy, corrupt, and selfish. He controls the Land of Waves, and is putting heavy taxes on us, causing us poverty! You see, if we finish this bridge, we will be connected to the mainland, and Gato's influence will be broken. But he knows this, and is trying anything to keep his power. That includes assassinating me, the bridge builder. And also, I knew we wouldn't have enough money to afford a B-rank or A-rank mission, so I lied. I truly am sorry," he apologized.
Kakashi sighed. "I understand. But now we have a choice. My three students can either choose to go back to Konoha, or complete the mission anyway."
Naruto shook his head. "I am definitely not giving up my first C-rank. And Tazuna really needs help, so I'm staying."
Sasuke nodded. "I concur. I'm gonna finish the mission."
Kakashi glanced at Sakura. The pink hair stared at Sasuke, then looked at Kakashi. "I-I'll stay," she stuttered.
Kakashi raised his eyebrows. "You sure?" he asked. Sakura nodded.
The jōnin nodded and turned to the Wave civilian. "Since my students are fine with it, we will still carry out this mission."
Tazuna sagged with relief. "Oh, thank you all."
Kakashi nodded. "Right, let's move out."
What did you guys think? Cool, right?
Naruto has not interacted with Kurama at all in this chapter, but don't worry, he definitely will in Chapter Four. :D
I know that the fight scene for the bell test gave Naruto a bit of OP-ness, but you gotta admit it was cool, right? Don't worry, I won't overdo it next time. (Hopefully.)
ArashiNoKitsune-I know that Naruto immediately learning the Rasengan is quite weird, but I did that intentionally. You'll soon see why Naruto gets the Rasengan earlier.
KINGShaheed-Thanks!
ADS1607-He got KCM. KCM2 won't be arriving for a while.
