Welcome to the new assassination classroom, class R6. It would be really cool if the students were compared to some of the operatives of this fun game. Let's get started!
Karma Akabane - Maestro
I compared Karma to Maestro because they seem to have the same personality and traits. They are both natural born leaders of their own groups (Karma for the kill faction, and Maestro for the tier 2 special forces), both have developed some sort of charm that brings people to follow them, and Maestro's "Evil Eyes" gadget would definitely be appreciated as a prank tool by Karma. These two just share a lot in common and if they ever met, they would probably get along very well.
Yuma Isogai - Warden
Isogai was a bit of a difficult one to figure out, but I eventually settled on Warden. I mainly chose him because they seem to have the same ikemen personality, and I think Isogai looks pretty good in a suit and tie. I also feel that Isogai would do well with the special glasses that Warden wears, and how he won't forget his role for the team, as its leader and its protector.
Taiga Okajima - Pulse
Now I know what you're thinking. "Okajima?! What could he possibly be? Is someone on Rainbow Six perverted?" Calm down. Let me explain. 1) No one on Rainbow is a pervert, thank god. 2) There are actually many possibilities for him. For Okajima, I thought he would be very good as Pulse. The reason, Okajima is good with a camera. He has the ability to get into many positions that allow him to get the best camera angle possible. Since Pulse's Heartbeat detector is like a camera, Okajima can use his flexibility to find his enemies in difficult place while keeping himself well hidden at the same time.
Hinata Okano - Amaru
Being a very athletic and outgoing person, Okano would probably be compared to Amaru. Okano tends to be a tomboy which is the same Amaru sees herself, being an adventurous female fighting for a top organization. Being athletic also helps in using Amaru's grappling gun, and I believe Okano would personally enjoy that experience of being able to fly through the air and crashing through a door or window.
Manami Okuda - Smoke
I chose smoke for Okuda only because this was the only operator that uses chemical weapons. Okuda is an expert at making chemicals that both help and hurt people. Smoke in this case is all about taking out his opponents with his gas grenade, and Okuda tends to put people to sleep with her chemicals. I feel that Okuda could make her own smoke mix and make it probably more effective than Smoke.
Meg Kataoka - Wamai
Kataoka was another difficult one. I had to spend at least an hour trying to find a decent similarity for her, but eventually I settled on Wamai. The only real reason is because they both love swimming. But looking more into his profile, I found out he is a bit of a second in command to Kali, just like Kataoka is a second in command to Isogai as a class rep. Like I said, it was very difficult finding a rainbow six counterpart for her since she really just specializes in leadership, but I found someone nonetheless.
Kaede Kayano (Akari Yukimura) - Alibi
Kayano. To be honest, at first I only chose Alibi just because her operator sign is an octopus with tentacles, and for those who have watched the anime or read the manga, you know where this is headed. I did read more into Alibi's report and found that she and Kayano actually were both motivated by the loss of a family member. Kayano joined 3-E after she thought her sister was killed by Korosensei while Alibi's family was killed by a mafia which led her to join the military. Even Alibi's quote says it all. "Illusions are fatal. If you waver, you're mine. If you pick wrong, you're mine." I think Kayano would be a good fit for Alibi's Prismas, as she could easily trick her opponent on her location and pick them off if she runs quickly, or is just in a very tiny hiding spot.
Yukiko Kanzaki - Dokkaebi
I chose Dokkaebi for Kanzaki because they both have the same hobby of being all video game savy and they both have pretty similar personalities of being very kind on the outside, but if you manage to press the wrong buttons, they will turn against you so fast, that you might think that that is not the same person. I also think Kanzaki would actually get the hang of Dokkaebi's Logic Bomb and I feel both of them sometimes treat technology like a video game.
Masayoshi (Justice) Kimura - Oryx
I thought Kimura would be a really good Oryx since he is the fastest runner in class 3-E. The only problem I do see is if he can even handle breaking through the walls. Just trying to break down a wall in general is already a difficult challenge
Hinano Kurahashi - Melusi
Nagisa Shiota - Nøkk
There were so many options for Nagisa, since he is the main protagonist of the class, but I took in a lot of consideration of all the reports for each operator and I eventually settled on Nøkk. I will tell you why. First off, Nøkk and Nagisa are both more suited for deep infiltration since they tend to be very stealthy and don't draw attention to themselves. I think Nagisa would make really good use of the HEL Presence Reduction Device, as he would be completely silent and invisible to cameras, something very helpful for an assassin. I also read that Nøkk was loyal to her mother, much like how Nagisa had to be loyal to his mother (although the word "loyal" may apply differently in one of these situations). Nøkk's quote can even apply to Nagisa when he goes full assassin mode. "The only thing I feel when I pull the trigger is the recoil." Yikes. #Heartless
Sosuke Sugaya - Glaz
Don't kill me for this one. "But Trevor, Glaz is a sniper. Shouldn't Chiba or Hayami be Glaz?" I kept asking the same question to myself as well, but Glaz was the only operator that had any artistic interests, so I chose Sugaya for this one. Then again, I read Glaz's report, and he was a very unique artist before he even decided to join the Spetsnaz. Both of them tend to have a sense of humor that they don't just show to anyone. Also, Sugaya's best category was actually long-range assassination while he was in 3-E, so I guess that counts for sniping too (maybe I'm trying too hard for this).
Tomohito Sugino - Ying
For Sugino, I chose him to be Ying because she has the only gadget that can really be thrown into difficult spots, and his ability to throw in difficult spots while on the pitching mound would be very useful in using Ying's Candelas.
Kotaro Takebayashi - Doc
Again, this is one that I don't even need to explain. Takebayashi is the only person in class 3-E who has any medicinal experience which makes him the only good option to be Doc. That's it. End of Sentence.
Ryunosuke Chiba - Kali
Ryoma Terasaka - Fuze
Rio Nakamura - Nomad
Kirara Hazama - Caveira
This doesn't require that much explanation. Hazama is the probably the scariest looking person in class, and in my opinion, Caveira is the scariest looking operator in rainbow since I get scared just even thinking that she's on the opposite team and have to keep my ears perked up. They both tend to be very quiet and are stealthy when they are focused on their mission, and can easily scare the living crap out of you if they catch you off guard.
Rinka Hayami - Zofia
Sumire Hara - Rook
Yuzuki Fuwa - Iana
Hiroto Maehara - Recruit
Ok. Maehara. The final verdict: Not a single fricking operator actually stuck with this guy. I read through reports for at least 2 hours when I got to him, and literally found little to no similarities. The guy is a flirt and he mainly uses knives instead of a gun, so I could not find any operator with a similar skillset.
Koki Mimura - Valkyrie
This one was obvious to me because Mimura was the movie director of 3-E and being able to have portable cameras is practically a director's dream. Valkyrie's Black Eye Cameras would be very fitting for Mimura as he could watch his opponents without them knowing where your cameras are if well placed.
Takuya Muramatsu - Goyo
Toka Yada - Bandit
Taisei Yoshida - Mozzie
I gonna be real with y'all. I only chose Yoshida to be Mozzie just because they share the same passion of motorcycles, but if were really thinking hard about this, Yoshida would probably like Mozzie's gadget.
Ritsu - IQ
This doesn't really need an explanation. Ritsu is a literal computer that can hack into all sorts of computers and can even detect all sorts of devices within a certain radius. This is literally what IQ does. She detects where any devices are and just simply disarms them.
Itona Horibe - Twitch
There were actually many options for Itona since he is pretty much the engineer of the class, but I eventually settled on twitch. I'm not really sure if he could make a flying drone because if so I would have chosen Echo, but then he wouldn't be able to be a his pervert self of looking under skirts (don't kill me for explaining that). I also think that the electric shocks would be a very fun addition to pranking his group and that he could just harass them for so long.
Thank you for reading! Please leave a review if you would like, and share your thoughts on which operators you would choose for each student. I want to hear your thoughts about this. Trevorsaurus, riding out! See ya!
