Hey! This is just something I thought of and I thought it'd be fun to write. I'm using New Vestroia battle rules as far as ability cards, but I won't be using the Life Gauge until they get to New Vestroia. But if I'm going to be honest, I'm not too sure if I'll actually continue this, I've got college and I'm busy with life so I won't make any promises, but if people really like it and want me to continue it, I could carve out some time for it. Anyways I hope you enjoy it, I was going to make it longer, but since I'm not sure I'm going to continue it, I didn't want to go too in-depth with it. But I think the brawl itself is pretty good, which is what I mainly wanted to do.
The giant three-headed hydra stared down at Dan with all three heads. Their dark red pointed teeth matched their hatred filled eyes as they let out a booming roar.
"We will defeat you!" the farthest left head hissed in a higher-pitched voice
"We will crush you and that Dragonoid into dust!" The middle head continued in a deeper tone
"And prove we are the ultimate Bakugan!" The farthest right head declared with a high pitched screech
Julie gasped as the battle brawlers looked on from the stadium seats of the callosum as the great hydra towered above them all as Masquerade smiled at his powerful pet
"Oh my gosh!" She exclaimed as she put her hand over her mouth, "he like, totally evolved! I know two heads are better than one, but three is a crowd!"
Dan chuckled with a smirk, "So Masquerade, it seems Hydranoid's went and evolved again." He stated as Drago rose up to Dan's level.
"But he's not the only one!" Drago shouted as he closed himself into a ball, "throw me in Daniel!"
"On it Buddy!" he shouted as he gripped Drago in his hand and wound his arm back. "Let's show him how you've changed! Bakugan Brawl!" He exclaimed as he threw Drago.
The ball flew through the air, hitting the ground in front of Hydranoid. The ball burst open in a flash of light as Drago spread his wings with a mighty roar. The Dragonoid materialized from a red energy body into a solid creature.
"Prepare to face my wrath Hydranoid!" He bellowed as he landed on the ground hard, causing the whole arena to shake as he stared fiercely into the blood-red eyes of Hydranoid's middle head
Ultimate Dragonoid: 550 G's
Alpha Hydranoid: 550 G's
"What!? A Pyrus Ultimate Dragonoid?!" Masquerade exclaimed in shock upon seeing the red and while marked Dragonoid.
"That's right Masquerade!" Dan shot back, "He's evolved to the next level as well and we're ready to brawl you out of this world! Isn't that right Drago?" He asked his partner with a confident smirk
The crimson Dragonoid shook his head. "That's right! We're going to stop you!" His green eyes were steely as he spoke.
"I think you're mistaken Dragonoid!" The middle head hissed.
"It is you that will face our wrath!" The left head growled.
"There will be nothing left of you when we're finished!" The right head screeched as all three heads turned to Masquerade, "do it!" they commanded.
The tall, blonde-haired man smirked as he raised an ability card into the air. "As you wish Hydranoid!" He declared, "Ability Activate! Destroy Vanish!" He called as the ability card shined a vibrant purple.
Six miniature heads extended from the tips of Hydranoid's wings. They lashed out quickly at the Dragonoid, wrapping around his neck, arms, legs, and tail before he could react. Drago tried his best to pull against them, but they were too strong, dragging him towards the spinning circular saw on Hydranoid's stomach.
"You gotta fight it buddy!" Dan shouted.
"I-I'm trying D-Daniel!" Drago grunted as his large clawed feet dug in the ground, leaving a small trench as he was dragged closer and closer to Hydranoid.
"That's right Dragonoid!" Hydranoid's middle head roared
"You can't escape!" His right head snarled
"And you'll feel true pain!" His left head barked as Drago was pulled into Hydranoid's spinning saw.
Drago roared out in pain as sparks flew everywhere. He shook his long neck from side to side, trying his best to break free but it was no use. He felt his strength begin to drain as Hydranoid tightened his grip on him.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 324 - 285 - 191 G's
Alpha Hydranoid 550 G's
"Oh no!" Runo exclaimed, "Drago's G's are draining fast!"
"She's right," Shun gritted through his teeth, "Drago might not have any power left if Dan doesn't do something!"
Masquerade laughed as he saw Drago's G's drop exponentially, eventually hitting 0. "How does it feel to have your pet lizard be so helpless?!" He boasted as Hydranoid released his grip on Drago, causing the giant creature to fall to his knees.
Dan smiled as he outstretched his arm. "That was pretty good Masquerade! But we aren't out yet! Gate Card open! Pyrus Reactor!" He exclaimed as pillars of fire shot up all around the stadium, causing Drago to glow and bringing strength back into him. "But that's not all!" Dan shouted as he held out an ability card, "Ability Card activate! Boosted Ultima!"
Drago stood tall as he let out a roaring battle cry as a burning crimson aura enveloped his body.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 0+250+200= 450 G's
Alpha Hydranoid 550-100= 450 G's
"This isn't going to be as easy as you thought it was Hydranoid!" Drago bellowed fiercely as he readied himself to attack Hydranoid.
"You're going to need more than that!" Hydranoid spat
"Much more if you hope to beat us!"
"And we'll prove how far away you are from our power!"
Masquerade held up another ability card with a cocky smirk. "Ability Card activate! Grand Down!"
The card shined as the ground turned pitch black as rays of light began to shine as the pillars of fire sputtered out into nothingness. The ground erupted in a bright flash of light, causing Dan and the Battle Brawlers in the stands to cover their eyes with their arms. When the light cleared, the field was back to normal and Drago's G's had dropped to 200.
"W-what the?!" Dan exclaimed.
"Hahaha!" Masquerade laughed, "Grand Down nullifies your little Gate Card and now Hydranoid has plenty of power to crush your precious Drago!"
"Are you ready for oblivion Drago?!" Hydranoid jeered.
"Ha! Not quite yet Hydranoid! You're not the only one who's got more up their sleeve!" Drago bellowed as he looked to Dan.
Dan shook his head with a confident smile as he pulled out another ability card. "That's right Masquerade! We are far from done! Ability Card activate! Dragonic Ogre!"
Drago roared as the silhouette of a demonic face formed behind him, made of pure red energy it smiled, staring at the hydra with empty eyes. The silhouette shot at Hydranoid, enveloping him for a moment before spreading all throughout the field as the pillars of fire returned, causing Drago to glow even brighter.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 200+250+200= 650 G's
Alpha Hydranoid 450 G's
"Dragonic Ogre is an ability specific to Ultimate Dragonoid! It nullifies the opponent's ability and it adds 200 G's to Drago!"
Masquerade's smirk curled down it to a grimace as he gritted his teeth. "You're getting on my nerves Dan Kuso!" He snarled as he held up two cards, "but with this, you'll be out of my hair for good! Double Ability activate! Death Trident plus Indigo Nightmare!"
Hydranoid widened his three mouths as swirling balls of dark purple and black formed. Lightning crackled around them as the ground began to shake causing Dan to almost lose his footing.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 650-300= 350 G's
Alpha Hydranoid 450+300= 750 G's
"You lose this one Dan!" Masquerade shouted as Hydranoid launched the three energy balls, barreling towards Drago.
"I don't think so Masquerade! Ability Activate Dragon Plus!" Dan shouted as he held out a crimson glowing ability card.
Drago was enveloped in a red energy shield as the balls of energy collided with him in a large explosion. Everyone on the stands held their breath as a thick cloud of black smoke covered Drago. For a moment it looked as if the blasts had got the better of the Dragonoid but that fear was put to rest as Drago burst from the smoke, lunging straight towards Hydranoid. They clashed as they locked hands, pushing up against each other with all their might, causing shockwaves of energy to ripple around the stadium, shaking the entire thing.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 350+300+100= 750 G's
Alpha Hydranoid 750 G's
"What!" Masquerade exclaimed as he watched the two giant beasts clash.
"Heh! Dragon Plus nullifies any ability that lowers Drago's power level and then gives him an extra 100 G's!" Dan explained as Drago and Hydranoid were blown away from each other, forcing them back into ball forms as they turned into red and purple energy respectively.
Both Dan and Masquerade caught their Bakugan, both of them were breathing heavily and their clothes were torn and tattered. Masquerade gripped Hydranoid tightly as he made a fist, he bared his teeth into a snarl.
"You are a thorn in my side Dan! I will defeat you! Don't get your hopes up, you just got lucky!" He barked. "Gate Card set!" he yelled as he threw a card in the middle of the stadium, as a wave of purple energy passed under their feet.
"Hehe! Whatever the case, right now I'm just having fun!" Dan answered back as he pulled his arm back, ready to throw Drago.
"You're having fun?!" Masquerade asked confused and enraged, "I'll crush that spirit out of you! Bakugan Brawl!" He yelled as he and Dan threw Hydranoid and Drago.
They both materialized as they roared at each other.
"You just got lucky Drago! Don't expect it to happen again!" Hydranoid hissed.
"That's right Hydranoid! It won't happen again, because I'll defeat you!" Drago shot back with a mighty roar.
"In your wildest dreams!" The hydra growled. "And we'll show you how hopeless your chance at victory is!"
"Ability Activate! Hydra Gazer!" The Masquerade yelled as Hydranoid opened his three mouths.
Masses of energy formed as they shot out all at once in three separate beams. They hit Drago, sapping his strength as Hydranoid became even more powerful.
"Hydra Gazer is an ability that transfers 300 G's from your precious Drago to Hydranoid!"
Ultimate Dragonoid: 550(-300)= 250 G's
Alpha Hydranoid 550(+300)= 850 G's
"Hydranoid is starting off strong, do you think Dan will be ok?" Julie asked.
"I wouldn't put Dan out yet, according to my analysis, he'll have enough to easily come back from this," Marucho responded.
"Yeah! Drago will school that creep!" Preyas butted in.
Drago fell onto one knee, feeling much of his strength drained.
"A little help Daniel?!" The Dragonoid wearily questioned.
"Right bud, I'm on it!" He told Drago as he held out an ability card. "Ability Card activate! Superior Dragon! It's an Ability Card that brings Drago's power level up to the opponent then adds an extra 100 G's to him!"
Ultimate Dragonoid: 250+600+100= 950 G's
Alpha Hydranoid 850 G's
Drago roared as his body began to glow a vibrant crimson as he clutched his fists, and throwing a challenging glare at the hydra.
Hydranoid slammed his three tails hard on the ground out of frustration as he roared back at Drago, enraged that he would dare challenge him. "Let's obliterate him Masquerade!" They demanded.
"As you wish Hydranoid!" He responded as he held up another ability card. "Ability Activate! Chaos Leap Sting!"
The six heads extended from Hydranoid's wings again, firing purple lasers from their mouths and bombarding Drago causing the large beast to cry out in pain while Hydranoid laughed at the suffering of the Dragonoid.
"But that's not all!" He said as he outstretched his arm. "Gate Card open! Darkus Reactor!"
The field turned dark, black clouds forming above them as purple lightning rained down all around them, shaking the ground.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 950-200= 750 G's
Alpha Hydranoid 850+100+200= 1150 G's
"We will annihilate you Drago!" Hydranoid spat as he rushed towards the Dragonoid, his mighty stops causing the ground to shake as he left deep footprints in the grass covered soil.
"I dont think so!" Dan shouted, "Ability Activate! Ultimate Dragon! This'll nullify your Gate Card"
A large fireball shot from Drago's mouth, colliding with Hydranoid and blowing away the darkness that surrounded them and putting the two titans equal at 950. Hydranoid walked through the flames as he roared, fury sparking in his eyes. He whipped out his arm, extinguishing the flames as he glared at Drago with pure hatred.
"Make no mistake Dragonoid!" Hydranoid screeched.
"Your performance up until now has been luck!"
"We will reduce you to ash!"
Masquerade held up three ability cards side by side with a chilling smirk. "This will obliterate you into nothing! Triple Ability Activate! Death Trident plus Indigo Nightmare plus Final Demolition!"
Hydranoid began to glow with a misty purple aura as three large whitish-purple orbs formed in his mouths. The entire stadium began to violently shake and parts of it began to crack.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 950-300= 650 G's
Alpha Hydranoid: 950+300+100= 1350 G's
"Dan, we need to do something!" Drago called out as he began to step back.
"Yeah, the only way to beat a triple ability is with one of our own!" He yelled out as he held out three ability cards of his own. "Triple Ability Activate! Ultimate Dragon plus Boosted Ultima plus Exceed!"
A flaming crimson aura enveloped Drago as it began to condense as it traveled to his mouth, forming a massive fireball, larger than his head. Debris and pieces of the crumbling stadium began to float up in the air as the two goliaths charged up their attacks. The brawlers in the stands got up as their seats began to crack and crumble, frantically moving as pieces of the upper stadium began to fall.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 650+200+200+200= 1250 G's
Alpha Hydranoid: 1350-100= 1250 G's
"Such power!" Skyress exclaimed.
"Truly a display of the height of Bakugan might!" Tigrerra commented.
"Yes, this is what it means to have reached the final third stage in evolution," Gorem spoke.
"D-do you think Dan and Drago will be ok?" Runo asked as she shielded her face from the strong winds with her arms.
"All we can do is hope!" Shun responded as he tried to steady his footing so he wouldn't be knocked off his feet.
"Go Hydranoid! Destroy him!" Masquerade screamed!
"Beat 'em Drago!" Dan yelled
Hydranoid let out his three blasts with a massive shockwave, crumbling half the stadium as they merged together into a massive beam of pure destruction. Drago responded by releasing his massive ball of fire, shattering the other side of the stadium. The forces collided in a massive flash of light as a violent wind erupted, blowing away all of the shattered stone, revealing a football stadium. Dan and Masquerade tried their best to stay on their feet but when the two blasts exploded in a blinding and deafening explosion both Drago, Hydranoid, and their brawlers were pushed away as Drago and Hydranoid returned to ball form. Dan and Masquerade hit opposite walls hard, as Drago and Hydranoid fell to the side of their respective brawler.
Both brawlers were slumped against a wall, their clothes reduced to torn rags and their skin tattered with bruises, cuts, and caked with dirt. Both of them feeling extreme fatigue, their bodies shaking from the strain. However, the adrenaline rushing through both of them mitigated it to some extent. They both forced themselves to their feet, Dan was limping and Masquerade was clutching his right arm. Drago and Hydranoid followed by their brawlers, they both struggled to float steadily, obviously fatigued.
"Why?!" Masquerade shouted. "Why do you continue to be a thorn in my side?!"
Dan only laughed as a smile crossed his face.
"What's so funny Dan?!" Masquerade demanded.
"I'm having a blast Masquerade. Even though this is totally intense, this is a real blast."
Masquerade clenched his fists and gritted his teeth in a fury. "I'm sick of your attitude!" He yelled as he tore off his tattered jacket, revealing a sleeveless blue tank top with the top half having some sort of armor over it. "I will destroy you!" He primarily screamed in pure rage.
"Man, you gotta chill." Dan chuckled.
"Chill?!" Masquerade growled. "This is the battle that decides the ultimate Bakugan! I will not 'chill' do you hear me?!"
Dan sighed as he pulled out a Gate Card, "Alright then, suite yourself. Gate Card Set!" He yelled as he threw a Gate Card in the middle of the stadium causing a wave of crimson to pass over them.
"Bakugan Brawl!" They both yelled as they threw their Bakugan and Hydranoid and Drago materialized on the field.
"H-how much longer can they keep going?" Julie asked, her eyes filled with worry.
"Not for much longer, but something tells me this will be the final brawl," Shun responded, his eyes fixed on the two behemoths on the field.
"How can you tell?" Marucho asked curiously.
"Call it a ninja's intuition, there's a certain energy in the air, and it telling me this'll be the final brawl" Shun explained.
"Yes, I can sense it too," Skyress commented. "This will be the battle that decides it all."
Drago and Hydranoid rushed at each other, slamming their fists into one another.
"This has gone on for too long Hydranoid!" Drago growled as he slammed his tail into Hydranoid's side.
"You're right Dragonoid!" Hydranoid hissed as he brought down his sharp claws on Drago's chest.
"It has gone on for too long!"
"So lets end this farce Masqurade!"
The masked man smirked. "Of course Hydranoid. Ability Activate! Vanisher Impact!" He yelled as he held up a glowing ability card.
Hydranoid raised his heads up, pointing them to the sky as he shot three balls of white energy that flew high up in the air, and then several small energy orbs rained down on Drago, causing the Dragonoid to roar out in pain.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 550-300= 250 G's
Alpha Hydranoid: 550+300= 850 G's
"Ability Activate! Dragon Plus!" Dan shouted as a red energy barrier formed around Drago, blocking the bombardment of energy, bringing Hydranoid back to 550 and Drago up to 650.
"Ability Activate! Death Trident!" Masquerade shouted as orbs of purple energy formed in Hydranoid's mouths, lightning crackling around them.
"Ability Activate! Ultimate Dragon!" Dan called as a mass of fire formed in Drago's mouth, bringing the two behemoths equal at 550 G's.
They each launched their attacks, colliding in a powerful explosion. Dan and Masquerade had to hold their arms over their face to shield themselves from the powerful shockwave that followed. As a cloud of dust and dirt was kicked up, covering the two behemoths.
"Man!" Julie shouted. 'They're so equal! It's so frustrating!"
"They may be equal now but one of them is going to slip up or give in first. And whoever does will be the loser in this battle." Shun responded as his eyes were glued to the battle in front of him.
A gust of wind blew through the stadium, blowing away the cloud of dust and showing the two behemoths. They were panting as they stared each other down.
"W-whats the matter Hydranoid?! Are you out of energy already?!" Drago panted.
"We could do this for days on end Drago!" The hydra hissed.
"But this is getting annoying!"
"So let's end this Masquerade!"
"Ability Activate! Hydra Gazer!" Masquerade yelled as Hydranoid shot out three beams of purple energy as Drago.
"I don't think so! Dragonic Ogre!" Dan responded.
The energy silhouette clashed against Hydranoid's beams, pushing it back as it enveloped it, turning it from purple to a crimson red, dissolving it into nothingness.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 550+300+200= 1050 G's
Alpha Hydranoid: 1150-300= 850 G's
"Grrrr! You're making me mad! Indigo Nightmare plus Chaos Leap Sting!" Masquerade yelled.
Orbs of black and dark purple swirled in Hydranoid's mouths as the six miniature heads sprouted from the tips of his wings. They opened their small mouths as Hydranoid shot out three spiraling beams of dark purple and black at Drago, the miniature heads following up with several small lasers firing from them. Bringing Drago down to 550 and Hydranoid up to 950
"Ability Activate! Incineration Striker! This'll nullify all of your active abilities!" Dan shouted as he held out a crimson glowing ability card.
Flames burst from Drago, burning away Hydranoid's attacks as the flames enveloped him, causing the Hydra to roar out in pain.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 550+300+200= 1050 G's
Alpha Hydranoid: 950-300-100= 550G's
"Why don't you try this on for size?! Merge Shield! It allows Hydranoid to gain all the G power your precious Drago has gained throughout the brawl!" Masquerade shouted as Hydranoid's G's jumped to 1050.
A slightly translucent orb formed around Hydranoid, a murky purple floated inside the sphere as a misty black and purple started to radiate off him. He roared as he lunged at Drago, crashing into him as the ground shook and the flames were blown away. Hydranoid's right head bit down on Drago's shoulder, causing the crimson beast to cry in pain as the clothing around Dan's shoulder was torn away, causing the young boy to wince in pain. Drago pushed his large clawed feet into the ground to solidify his footing as slashed Hydranoid's saw-plated chest. The giant three-headed creature roared out in pain as a long slash mark formed suddenly on Masquerade's chest.
"I won't be beaten by the likes of you Hydranoid!" Drago roared as he pushed against the three-headed behemoth, Hydranoid's spinning saw grinding against Drago and causing both of them to cry out in pain.
"That's our line Dragonoid!" Hydranoid's right head hissed.
"We are the ultimate Bakugan!" The middle head bellowed.
"And we will prove it here and now!" The left head screamed as they pushed back with all their might, staring at Drago with a pure, blackening hatred.
"I can't let this be another tie!" Dan cried as he wearily held out an ability card. "Go! Boosted Ultima!"
Drago gave a mighty, ground-shaking roar as that blazing crimson aura enveloped him, giving him the strength to push Hydranoid away, forcing the behemoth away with a mighty push. Hydranoid flew away, his back crashing into the ground, sliding back several feet. The giant hydra crashed right through the football stadium, completely shattering a portion of it as rubble fell onto the behemoth.
"Hydranoid!" Masquerade yelled with a worried grimace.
"We're fine!" They growled as they got to their feet, rubble falling from them as they did so.
"Drago! Hurry and finish him!" Dan pleaded as he pointed to Hydranoid with a worried expression.
Drago nodded. "Right Dan!" He called back as he charged for Hydranoid with determined eyes.
Hydranoid steadied his feet, spreading them apart in a solid stance as he held out his arms, his hands spread open, his sharp, red claws pointing forward. "Now Masquerade!" They roared.
The masked man smirked as he held up an ability card. "Right Hydranoid! Ability Activate! Shroud Nebula!" He shouted as a foggy blackness erupted from Hydranoid, enveloping the entire battlefield as Hydanoid's eyes began to glow a menacing red in the darkness.
The crimson aura around Drago quickly faded, replaced with a black and purple shroud around him as he felt his strength drain. But it was already too late, he was already too close to Hydranoid and he was met with a fist to the jaw as Hydranoid slammed a punch into Drago, sending him flying away, crashing right through the other side of the football stadium.
"W-what?!" Dan shouted as he saw his partner be blown away like a rag doll, causing him to look at his Bakupod.
Sharp power decrease detected for Ultimate Dragonoid
Ultimate Dragonoid: 1250-200-400= 650 G's
Alpha Hydranoid: 950+100= 1050 G's
Masquerade chuckled, relishing in what he just saw. "Shroud Nebula is unique to Alpha Hydranoid, it nullifies your little ability and deducts 400 G's. It's quite the ability wouldn't you say?" He asked in a cocky, condescending tone.
A look of worry was plastered on Dan's face for a moment as a bead of sweat ran down his cheek. But that worry was soon replaced with a smile and a soft chuckle. "You got us good Masquerade. But if you think that's going to be enough to put Drago down, then you're in for a rude awakening!" He shouted to the man as Drago arose to his feet, wiping away the dust and debris from himself before he unfolded his wings and flew back into the stadium.
"We are far from finished here Hydranoid!" He growled as he folded his wings back. "Now prepared to face the wrath of Salamander the Ultimate Dragonoid!"
"As if we would take that attempt at a threat seriously you overgrown lizard!" Hydranoid hissed.
"We have plenty of power to crush you into dust!"
"It is you that will face our wrath!"
Dan chuckled as he grabbed an ability card from his back carrier box, holding it out with a smirk. "I think you should listen to him Hydranoid! Ability Activate! Scorch Aura!"
Pulsing heat waves began to radiate off of Drago, causing Hydranoid to hiss and recoil as the waves hit him. The hydra roared out in pain as his body began to give off smoke, forcing him on one knee. Drago was enveloped in a small flaming aura, the flame-colored energy licking the air as they swayed.
"Yes Hydranoid, that threat was real! And now you're going to pay for not heeding it!" He roared as the pulsing heatwaves subsided leaving Hydranoid on his hands and knees, smoke billowing from his body.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 650+500= 1150 G's
Alpha Hydranoid: 1050-500= 550 G's
"What?!" Masquerade exclaimed as he saw the state of Hydranoid and the massive drop on his Bakupod. "How is this possible?!" He angrily questioned as he snarled
"Hehe…. Scorch Aura forces the opponent back to their base level and transfers the lost G's to Drago!" Dan explained with a smirk.
"And with that Hydranoid!" Drago's deep voice boomed as the hydra got to his feet, "is the end!" He roared as he dashed towards Hydranoid, crashing into the behemoth.
It took everything the three-headed creature had, but he stood his ground as Drago's burning body seared against his own. Causing him and Masquerade to wince in burning pain, causing Masquerade's shirt to start to become burnt, turning black. The hydra wrapped his arms around Drago and dug his claws into the Dragonoid's back with an iron grip. Drago and Dan cried out in pain as Masquerade held up yet another ability card with a scowl.
"Destroy Vanish!" He called.
The six miniature heads sprouted from Hydranoid's wings, this time wrapping around Drago's entire body, holding him tightly against Hydranoid. Hydranoid's saw began to turn rapidly, grinding against Drago's body, causing the entire front of Dan's shirt to be torn off. Drago cried out as he thrashed against Hydranoid, causing both behemoths to crash to the ground.
"L-let go of m-me Hydranoid!" Drago demanded as he bit down on Hydanoid's middle neck.
"N-never!" He cried out as he returned the favor, using his middle head to bite down on Drago's neck and using his other two heads to bite down on Drago's shoulders and kept biting down like an iron vice as his saws continued to grind against Drago.
Drago screamed and thrashed, slamming his tail into Hydranoid as his strength began to dwindle more and more. Dan was on his knees, the pain Drago was feeling was being transferred to him and it was excruciating, even still he was trying to reach for another ability card his it was extremely difficult with all the pain and exhaustion. They rolled over several times, crashing into another side of the stadium. Drago's resistance became weaker and weaker until his G's finally hit zero and the Dragonoid became limp. Hydranoid's saw stopped and he unraveled his miniature heads that retracted back into his wings. He ceased biting Drago and released his claws from his back. The hydra got off of Drago and onto his knees. His saw was burnt and blackened, smoking from Drago's hot body. He felt exhausted as he looked at the scratch riddled Drago. He clenched a fist and cocked his arm back, ready to slam a final fist into the Dragonoid.
"A-Ability A-Activate!" Dan wearily shouted, "Superior Dragon!"
Drago's eyes flung open as Hydranoid threw a fist at him, catching it with a new energy in his eyes as his body began to glow.
"Impossible!" Masquerade shouted as he looked at his Bakupod.

Ultimate Dragonoid: 0+550+100= 650 G's
Alpha Hydranoid: 550 G's
"We told you!" Dan shouted as he struggled to his feet, "we're going to defeat you Masquerade!"
Hydranoid hissed at Drago, throwing another fist at him, but like the first one, it was caught. Drago roared as he pushed Hydranoid back and pushed forward on his back foot, throwing a punch right back at the hydra. Hydranoid quickly balanced himself and reared back, throwing yet another punch at the Dragonoid.
"Ability Activate!" Masquerade yelled, "Alpha Soul!"
A dark shadowy aura covered Hydranoid and their fist laced over one another, hitting one another in the face.
"Alright! You got 'em buddy!" Dan shouted with a smile but that quickly faded as Drago's punch didn't seem to do much while Hydranoid's punch sent Drago's head straight to the ground. "W-what happened?" Dan asked, shocked as he checked his Bakupod.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 650-100= 550 G's
Alpha Hydranoid: 550+100= 650 G's
"That was the effect of Alpha Soul! It raises Hydranoid's power level to the opponents and then subtracts however many G's Hydranoid gained from the opponent!" Masquerade explained with a wide-open smile. "Now crush him Hydranoid!"
"With pleasure!" The behemoth bellowed as he raised his foot over Drago's head.
The Dragonoid was trying his best to get up, pushing with his arms, but it felt like he was made of lead. He didn't get even a yard off the ground before Hydranoid's foot stomped on Drago's head. The Dragonoid cried out in agony as Hydranoid began to grind his foot hard against him.
"How does it feel Dragonoid?!" Hydranoid asked coldy, though only cries of pain met the question, causing all three heads to cackle.
"G-gate C-c-card open! P-Pyrus R-R-React-tor!" Dan shouted as he held his head in pain.
Pillars of fire began to sprout out everywhere, one right under Drago, and hitting Hydranoid's foot, causing the huge creature to jump back in pain. Drago warily pushed himself to his feet, panting heavily, feeling a little more energized now, boosting him to 800.
"Don't think that little boost will last long!" Hydranoid hissed as Masquerade held up an ability card.
"Grand Down!" He shouted as the pillars of fire disappeared and Drago's G's dropped back down to 550.
"Dan, I've only got enough energy for one more attack! We need to make this count!" Drago shouted as he squared his feet and readied himself for one final attack.
"Y-yeah...I know!" He shouted as loud as he could in his weakened state, pulling out the last two ability cards he had. "Double Activate! Ultimate Dragon plus Exceed!"
"Masquerade! Let's end this now!" Hydranoid snarled, a bit worried, his wear and fatigue showing.
"Yes, let's end this!" He shouted back as he pulled out an ability card, "Death Trident!"
Ultimate Dragonoid: 550+200+200-300= 650 G's
Alpha Hydranoid: 650 G's
"They're equal!" Runo shouted. "At this rate, it'll never end!"
"N-no" Shun shuddered as he looked on with wide, terrified eyes. "They aren't equal…. Masquerade has still yet to use his final ability card…."
"O-o-oh no!" Marucho cried out, "Shun's right!"
"Plus Final Demolition!" He screamed as he revealed a second ability card behind the first one.
Ultimate Dragonoid: 650 G's
Alpha Hydranoid: 650+100= 750 G's
Drago shot out a massive fireball as Hydranoid launched three sparking purple orbs, rivaling Drago's attack in size as they merged together. The two attacks crashed into each other with a massive shockwave, sending powerful winds, almost blowing Dan and Masquerade away again.
"G-Go Hydranoid!" Masquerade cried as he fought to stay on his feet.
"C-Come on Drago!" Dan shouted, fighting the massive gust of wind the best he could.
Both Drago and Hydranoid roared as their attacks clashed, both of them standing their ground and eyeing one another. In a flash of light, the two attacks erupted, causing Drago to fly back, turning into red energy as he condensed into ball form as Dan was blown off his feet, tumbling as he landed back on the ground, sprawled out on his back as Drago fell next to him, both of them motionless.
"Dan!" The brawlers yelled as they rushed to the motionless boy.
Hydranoid bellowed out an earth-shaking roar as he began to fall backward, turning to purple energy as he fell down next to Masquerade in ball form. The disheveled man laughed as his dirtied blond hair began to flow in the wind as he checked his Bakupod
Ultimate Dragonoid has been eliminated, Alpha Hydranoid is victorious, Masquerade wins
"I-I've d-done it!" He yelled. "I've b-beaten Dan Kuso, and proven Hydranoid is the ultimate Bakugan!" He cried.
He fell to his knees as the adrenaline wore off, his body was bone tired and beaten. His mask was cracked, his shirt was burned and charred and he was covered in scratches and bruises. His arms shook as he tried to keep himself off the ground, but they gave in and he laid there on the ground, panting heavily as the battle brawlers rushed to Dan's side.
"Dan!" Runo cried out as she knelt down next to the boy, looking over him as her tears fell onto his bare, scratch riddled chest. "P-please answer me!" She pleaded as she pushed on his limp body, with no response.
Shun bent down and picked up Drago, wincing at how hot he was.
"Drago, are you ok?" He asked the smoking Dragonoid but there was no response.
"He's ok Shun, he just exerted all he had. I imagine he'll be out for a while" Skyress explained.
Runo began to lightly hit on Dan's chest with her fist as she began to sob. "Please, wake up!" She cried as she placed her head on his chest.
Julie walked over to Runo, kneeling next to her and placing a hand on her shoulder.
"He'll be ok, you and I both know he's tough enough to make it through this. I bet he's just exhausted." The white-haired girl said in a soft tone, smiling at her friend.
"That's right Runo." Tigrerra spoke, "Dan will be just fine."
Runo nodded, wiping away the tears in her eyes as she got to her feet, turning to face Masquerade.
"Enjoy your victory while you can!" She barked with a scowl. "We will stop you, whatever it takes! We, the Battle Brawlers, will stop you! It doesn't have to be Dan! Every one of us will do everything we can to stop you!"
"She's right." Shun called as he slung the unconscious Dan over his shoulder, "You may have won the battle, but I guarantee you that you won't win the war!"
"We're a team!" Julie shouted. "And we won't rest until we've defeated you!"
"Dan may be the strongest among us." Marucho said. "But we're no pushovers either!" He shouted as they stood side by side, staring down Masquerade as their Bakugan rose up.
"You will pay for what you did to Drago!" Tigrerra growled.
"Even if you knock us down, we will rise again, stronger than the last until you've been bested Hydranoid!" Skyress declared.
"So take today's victory with a grain of salt, because it won't last!" Gorem shouted.
"That's right! We'll kick your butt next time!" Preyas quipped.
Masquerade chuckled as he wearily grabbed his teleportation card from his pocket. "Prattle all you want brawlers. B-but it doesn't change the fact I won here today, and I'll win against every one of you if you decide to get in my way further." He sputtered through heavy breaths as Hydranoid popped open, struggling to stay upright.
"Your decelerations mean nothing to us!" Hydranoid warily hissed
"We beat Drago and we can easily beat all of you!"
"Come at us as much as you'd like, it will only further serve to make us even stronger!" As they finished Masquerade activated the teleportation card and they disappeared.
I hope you all enjoyed it! I'd like to know if you guys liked the brawl, especially the third and final one, I put a lot of time planning that. If I do plan to continue this, a lot of the brawls won't be that long, I just wanted to make this a long epic one, I'm quite proud of it. In any case I hope all have a nice day!
