Things weren't complicated between anyone but hiding always leads to furthur complications. Whether if it's an accidental affair or just a small confession. But the fact that Ryan wanted to do it with Angela was a natural feeling not a task or an impossible assigment. What confusion he was going through was really getting to Angela. Her mind couldn't stop thinking about her love.

Waking up to see Ryan fast asleep, facing the ceiling. Her body was facing his with her hand at his chest. Many days had passed and Angela almost woke up to see the same view everyday but never once did she get used to it. Her face always blushed and smiled seeing the handsome feller like that.

Smiling, Angela rubbed her hand slowly across his chest. Feeling the thick, bulkiness of his muscles, Angela could feel the blood rush to her cheeks. She could never resist the urge to touch Ryan's body. It was simply impossible for her. Being handsome both physically and mentally was a deadly combination, sure, but to have him sleep by you? That was just evil.

'He is so muscular. He sure does take good care of himself.'

Angela slowly lifted her head and body to sit up, to get a better view of Ryan. Her eyes then were focused on his well defined 6 pack abs. As soon as Angela saw it, she felt a small sensation across her belly that lingered there for a moment. Butterlies?

'Whao! My belly in tingling.'

Angela kept on staring at his torso, focusing on each and every body part from top to bottom. Moving down and down, Angela noticed that she couldn't keep her eyes off of two things : His abs and that thick Adam's apple. Rock solid and attractive as hell.

Aside from all the muscles, Angela could see many moles. One on his left neck, one on his right chest, another in his shoulder and near his triceps. His hairless chest was transforming him into a new person right before Angela's eyes.

Never once did she notice Ryan like that. Why now? Why all of a sudden? Did she avoid her thinking unconsciously?

Come to think of it, Ryan was wearing a shirt last night.

Angela shook her head, breathed hard and stood up. Stretching her limbs, Angela looked back at Ryan who was still in that position. This time her eyes saw something else.

Her eyes fell below his abs, on his groin. She saw...she witnessed something. A large bulge. A large bulge growing out like budding in a potato.

Slowly, Angela could feel a chill down her spine, hair rising, blood rushing, with the same sensation on her belly but this time, very strong and wallowing down on her groin.

The sensation was so strong, Angela released a gasp. Her eyes blinked a few times looking elsewhere to process just what the hell she saw and witnessed. Immediately, she rushed toward the bathroom and locked the door.

Panting and panting she looked at the mirror, seeing her own reflection. Sweat droplets covered her face like fur on a cat.

'What the? Am I sweating?!'

The panting did not stop. It lingered on for a few moments. As time passed, Angela observed something else : she was feeling wet down there.

Noticing it, Angela's eyes widened. She couldn't believe what she was seeing and feeling. What was this? Why was it happening?

'Damn it! Why am I getting wet? It, it--'

Angela's mind flashed that scenery again. The scene was so vivid that she could almost see it infront of her. Seeing it again, she felt another hard sensation across her groin. The pads felt almost useless as the liquid overflowed.

Sighing loudly and feeling weak on her knees, Angela slowly sat on the toilet seat and removed her pants.

Cleaning up her vagina, Angela kept on processing, why this was happening. Why was this feeling so strong? Why was she getting wet? Was that bulge making her uncomfortable? Was it Ryan?

"Why did I feel...What did I feel? What happened just now?"

Angela questioned herself, hoping to get an answer.

"I just saw it and...Damn it! I'm getting it back."

Angela felt weaker again.

"That was so strange. Hope I--Shit! Dad! Brenda and Charles!. They're leaving today!"

Angela remembered why she had woken up extra early today. Never did she expect that her romantic gesture toward Ryan would turn so erotic. But was it really erotic? She didnt know this alien feeling.

With haste, Angela proceeded on freshening up and helping her family.

Stepping down the stairs, Angela only saw her father in the guest room with his luggage on the table. No sign of Brenda or Charles. It seemed they left super early today.

"Good morning, Dad. Where are Brenda and Charles? They left?"

Bernard looked up to see his daughter standing impatiently.

Bernard nodded and said

"Good morning, Pumpkin. They left even before I woke up."

Oh!

"They never wake up this early. What's the rush?" Angela said as she sat down calmly.

"Early flights. They booked the early flight out, I guess. Maybe they miss their daughter, too." Bernard said.

Too?

Was he talking about himself? Bernard said "Too" meaning someone else missed their daughter as well and it was clear whom he was talking about.

Angela felt bad. She felt as if she was reminded of doing something awful. But what exactly? She spent as much time with her father as with Ryan. What was this about?

But that feeling vanished because Angela then remembered that Bernard had this bad habit of acting like a cranky, grumpy old man.

A genuine smile curved across her face making her chuckle, afterwards.

"Oh, stop it. Wars might end but your episodes won't, Dad." Angela giggled.

Bernard joined the laughter and gestured his daughter to sit next to him.

Sitting closely, Angela embraced her father in a tight hug.

"Ah, look at you. You're all grown up. You don't need a stubborn old man watching over you."

"Hah, don't say that, Dad. You really think I'm just gonna leave you like that and move on with Ryan?"

"Yup."

Duk

Angela frowned and slowly poked Bernard, making him laugh.

"Hahah. You look just like Andrea when you get annoyed."

Angela grinned now. Her mind was filled with the annoyed expressions of her mother whenever her father annoyed her. It was hilarious.

"Yeah, hahaha. You annoyed the hell out of her, those days."

"She wasn't exactly a saint either. Remember that time when she placed that fake spider near the toilet? Damn, I was in the middle of something and I couldn't finish it."

Hahhaha

Angela burst out laughing. Her eyes began tearing up due to the hilarousness of that incident.

In the middle of the laughs Angela replied

"Yeah and as revenge, you changed the freckle cream, giving her humongous freckles to which she didnt leave the house for a week. She didnt even face you, too."

Bernard scoffed remembering the scene Angela mentioned. Her face lighted up, hearing the old funny incidents like that. It was great. This time, filled with joy and laughter between a father and his daughter.

"Those were the days, right? Oh, Andrea. I swear that woman gave more trouble than comfort."

"Like the time when Abby was checking you out and flirted with you?"

"Oh, Jesus!" Bernard held his face with his hand. That embarrassing incident made him shy.

Angela laughed at her fathers expression.

"Mom almost threw you out of the apartment for something Abby did! That was so stupid. Bet that really hurt, didn't it, Dad?"

Angela laughed some more.

"As much as how Pedro was hurt. Remember him?"

Bernard replied quickly.

Angela stopped and laughed again holding her face in shyness.

The cute family kept on talking and talking for a few minutes.

"Dad, when are you leaving? And how? Bus?"

"Half an hour, I guess. Yeah, bus is fine with me."

Angela gave a soft grin to her father.

Bernard looked for a few seconds before he scoffed and asked

"What?"

Angela shook her head. Lunging forward, she gave a soft kiss on his cheek.

Now resting her head on his shoulder, Angela replied

"I'm just proud of you, Daddy. For a guy who is now a well to do person, you still prefer a local transport rather than a rich one. Just like the old man I grew up with."

Angela grabbed his hand as she finished her sentence.

"Well to do..." Bernard whispered to himself.

Angela heard it. It was faint but she could make out what he said.

Not sure what to reply to what she heard as she wasn't even sure whether what she heard was correct so letting out a hmm was the best choice.

Bernard tightly grabbed Angela's hand making her jerk back her head to make eye contact. She could see her father looking tense like he wasn't saying something, like he wanted to confess something.

"Dad?" Angela whispered.

Sighing hard, Bernard replied

"Angie...Bear with me. There's something you need to know." Bernard looked serious.

Gulping, Angela nodded.

"Okay..."

"Ughhh, this is so hard. Baby, what do I do? I mean, what is my job?"

Huh?

That was a weird question to ask.

'His job? What?'

"Uhh...Dad, you work with Charles. You are like his secretary, right?"

Bernard nodded.

"And what did I do before?"

"You were a butler for more than 15 years. Dad, why are you asking this?"

The father closed his eyes, let out another sigh before replying

"I was never a butler, Angie. I was working for the Reeves's company with Charles since before you were born. I wasn't a butler."

The words rang through Angela like a loud bell near her ear. It was clear but hard to hear.

"WHAT?! What...You...never a butler?"

Bernard nodded again and placed his hand on her shoulder, giving her support and gesturing her to calm down.

"Dad, what are you saying? You never worked as a butler? Wait, You lied?! You..."

"Angela, baby. Calm down, I can explain."

Breathing slowly with the help of her father, Angela seemed to lose some of the frustration.

"I say it again, I never worked as a butler here. I was Charles secretary since the beginning. Never once did I clean or do chores. The incidents you heard from, that handsome brat of me picking him up was because Charles was always busy with meetings so I had to pick Ryan up from school. But I did it voluntarily, too."

"Did-did mom know?"

"Andrea knew. Andrea knew but it wasnt something to share. You never asked me either until I brought it up after your high school. And as for Ryan, he also thought I was a butler."

"Dad, why did you lie? That day you said you were just a worker who kept struggling? Why did you do that? Does that mean you had enough for me to go to college? Is that the reason you persuaded me so much?"

"Yes. Yes, I did. I had to Angela. I wanted to push you. I wanted to tell you the true importance of having a well paid work. With no trouble, no quarries, no nothing. I wanted you to live a successful life. Thats why I had to lie."

"But...but...I was never good at studies. You knew I wasn't cut out for it, thats why I voluntarily wanted to work and work. I thought I was supporting you..."

Angela felt betrayed. She felt like all her attempts were useless. Knowing that she was working for herself and her father, who was a butler, and then letting her know that all her efforts were unnecessary, because, her father was actually a well paid person.

"Sweetie, I knew I couldn't force you. I realised that even if you work a whole 24 hours, somethings will remain as they are. Academics wasn't your thing so I agreed with what you asked. You found happiness in it and also your moxie. I wanted your happiness, baby."

"But..."

"Don't think that, sweetie. Please dont think your efforts were effortless because with what you did, you never proved to be insufficient in anything. You with all the money you collected, bought so many things that I didnt even have to worry. You were a true support, baby, I swear. Your efforts were fruitful."

Angela felt like the weight in her heart had dropped. It was now filled with satisfaction. Like, she heard she wanted to hear to make her feel better about herself.

"Wait. Dad, if they didnt have a butler, why did the Reeves's family need me?"

"They didn't, they had caterers come once a week to clean the whole residence up but it was an excuse. An excuse, to take care of you."

"I don't understand."

"I spoke with Charles quite frequently about you and how things were. To be honest, I didn't want you to continue working like that, knowing we had everything. He understood me. With Brenda's blessing mind, we came up with a perfect plan : which would make you wanna stay. Brenda and Charles wanted you to stay with them while I was gone and even after I came back, like a family, so that you live the life I wanted you to have but couldn't because of circumstances."

Angela felt a flutter in her heart. A warm tingling feeling across her chest which caused her to smile unconsciously but wholeheartedly.

"Dad. I never knew this..."

" Couldn't take full advantage of your oblivion nature, But knowing you, you took it seriously and worked so hard, it makes me wanna say it again : Im proud of you."

Angela laughed at that remark. Bernard also chuckled.

"And those properties, you already knew about them, right?"

Bernard nodded.

"Charles and I utilised half in the bussiness he spoke about that day. The others are present freely there. I only went there to see how things were escalating, like an overseer, it wasn't because of some fued with land thieves. But, they are already your property, under your name."

"Our property, Dad. It belongs to all of us now." Angela replied instantly.

"I wanted you to stay with them, here eversince, your mother passed away but it was too early for that. But things worked out just fine. Never in a million years did I imagine, you'd fall for Charles's brat. But not surprised for him. Who wouldn't notice such a beautiful young lady?" Bernard said as he caressed his daughters cheek.

Angela felt shy. Her face blushed immediately, hearing what Bernard said.

"Well, he is one handsome guy, too."

"That, he is. So, Angie. Can you forgive your father for lying like that?"

"What lie?" Angela winked at her father and smiled. "You love me the most, Dad. You proved it today."

Angela wrapped her arms around her father, kissing his cheek again.

'Thats why both of them always said that I was a part of the house.'

Bernard felt like the weight that was on his shoulders had been lifted. The pain of knowing that you've done the wrong thing for the right reason is unbearable and Bernard could relate alot to it. He had been only saying he was a worker because he wanted to push his daughter to reach new heights. To know the importance of a well paid work. To have a easy life. To have a smile and face that would say "Thank you, father". That's the dream of every father in the world.

"It's not a surprise to hear that Brenda suggested to have us both to live with them."

"You got that right. But, noone expected that Ryan would score you. Your first love and the last I hope."

Angela smiled at his remark.

"I didnt either. I guess, it was bound to happen. You cant predict anything even if you know too much about it."

"I trust he will take better care of you. I should leave, my bus will leave in 15 minutes." Bernard said and stood up.

Now, he could leave without any frustration. He expressed what was bothering him so much and now it was gone.

Angela followed him to the gate and hugged her father wholeheartedly before he sat on his taxi.

Waving, Angela said

"Tell grandma I love her!"

Angela returned to her new house with a new feeling. The same exciting feeling she felt when she woke up in Ryan's room. Her heart was feeling warm and light and, she couldn't stop smiling. Her mouth curved into a round smirk with her eyes scanning the entire house like she hadn't seen it before. Her mind was thinking continuously about the fact that she was now a part of this family. She couldn't help but twirl her body around in complete satisfaction.

Jèan wasn't in the kitchen. Maybe he was still visiting his mother. That wasn't a problem because Angela wanted to make breakfast herself, to which she started right away.

Humming and humming, her smile didn't go away. Her hands were busy in stirring while her mind drifted off.

Suddenly, Angela felt a pair of hands embrace her tummy in a hug. A soft kiss then landed on her cheek making her laugh in shyness.

"Oh Ryan, I know it's you."

'Wait, Ryan?!'

Angela suddenly remembered what she felt this morning, what she saw this morning. Her mind, for a second, slipped back.

"Making breakfast again, huh? I can get used to this."

The whisper was so thick and so intimately close to her. Not which she minded but because of this morning, it was getting...difficult. Her mind couldn't stop thinking about it.

"Y-yeah, of-of course." Angela stammered.

'Damn it, Angela. Get a hold of yourself.'

Ryan pressed on her tummy making her groan a bit followed by a gasp when Ryan suddenly turned her around and pulled her closer.

Cup

Ryan claimed Angela's soft lips in a slightly aggressive kiss, releasing a moan in the process. Angela, learning from experience, placed her arms around his neck. But wait. She felt thickness and warmth. Ryan was shirtless. Not that she didn't like it but felt difficult.

In response her eyes shut even more tightly and her lips pouted hard. The kiss broke momentarily, giving her time to breath and gather herself.

Angela looked into Ryan's eyes. They were filled with love and affection and, it was clearly visible. As for Ryan, he could see nervousness.

"You okay?" Ryan whispered again.

"Huh? Yes, y-yes. Just a little sleepy." Angela lied.

'It's so hard not to think about it.'

Ryan squinted his eyes for a second, finding least honesty in her response.

"Whatcha cooking there?"

"Oh, uh, french omelette and some pancakes. Jéan isn't here so I thought I'd make it instead."

Angela said turning around and making herself busy with the pan, in hopes to distract herself.

"Chose French omelette of all things. My favourite..."

Angela stopped for a second as she observed that his voice had become deep. Much deeper than usual. He sounded...sexy!

"They're gone? Mom, Dad and Bernard?"

Ryan slided to the left to get a cup of coffee to break his sleepiness.

"Y-yeah, they left even before I woke up. And you just missed Dad. He departed a few minutes ago."

Releasing a chilli sigh, Ryan looked to his right at his love.

"So...we're alone, eh? Just you and me?"

Angela looked to her left to see a genuine grin on his face. The grin made her heart skip a beat even though it didnt hold any evil intent.

"Yes. Your favorite dish, the reason."

Ryan maintained his grin at her. That was lovely. That was so thoughtful of her.

'I'd rather eat you than that dish.'

Ryan thought mischievously to himself. Of course, he couldn't say that to her because of his shyness.

"I'll brew some more coffee." Ryan said, adjusting his hands.

Angela glanced to him again. Seeing how he made himself available for her, brought a genuine smile across Angela's face. This act was enough for her to avoid the fact that he was standing shirtless infront of her.

'I liked that! I hope we stay like this forever.'

The couple sat across each other, munching on their favourite breakfast. During their feast, the couple conversed. Talking about random things and sharing any moment that they found hilarious. The table was almost empty but not alone. The company of two lovers was enough to feel like home.

Angela glanced a couple of times as the conversation slowly died down. Ryan caught her both times and didnt think much about it. She continued for a few moments more until Ryan eventually opened his mouth asking why she was doing it.

During her glances Angela thought

'Does he know that Dad was never a butler? Maybe I should tell him.'

"What's going on? Is there something on me?"

Angela looked up, stopping her chewing shaking her head from left to right.

"Ryan, my Dad always worked for your father's company. He was never a butler..."

Angela looked stunned herself as she spoke her mind.

Ryan continued his muching for a couple of seconds and spoke

"Took you that long to realise that?"

'Wait, What?'

Angela was left in state of awe to realise that Ryan knew about it and that she was the only person to realise it so late.

"Ryan! You knew?"

Ryan looked up at her, taking another bite of the delicious cuisine.

"You do the math. I never saw Bernard serving tea, food, cleaning, washing or doing chores. He was with Dad all the time, signing contracts and holding meetings for him. How is he a butler then?"

Angela stopped for a few seconds to take in all that Ryan said. It wasn't a secret but something she was oblivious to, making her feel embarrassed.

"No, it's just...Dad, he..."

Ryan stopped realising Angela was hurt to know the truth. It wasn't actually a lie because it wasn't something that would break her heart. A small secret which didn't need much thought.

"I know, but he did for a good reason, I'm sure of it."

Angela nodded slowly and whispered

"He...wanted push me so that I could ace any profession and live a better life..."

"There you have it. He wanted his daughter to earn a life that would ensure her happiness."

Angela sighed

"I know...But all this time, I worked day in and out to help Dad because I thought that we were suffering financially, that I didn't want to be a burden to him... I felt like my help would help but it wasn't necessary."

Angela stopped her chewing, it seemed she lost her appetite. Soon her eye contact died as well.

Ryan could feel her disappointment. Her feeling to realise that what she was doing had no purpose because what she was contemplating to do was already achieved.

Like adding small leaves to a bonfire...negligible help.

"Hey, don't you dare think like that. Angela, you worked 10 hour shifts, did chores, helped kids, cleaned apartments. The money that you earned was enough to place food on the table, aid in rent and still buy gifts for your father. How was that unnecessary? You did most of the heavy lifting. Worked tirelessly and proved your worth. How is that unnecessary?"

Angela could only nod. She knew what Ryan was saying was the truth but it wasn't encouraging her.

Ryan realised that his words weren't going to be enough, but he was determined to try.

"Angela, just remember why your respected. Not because of your looks but because of your nature and moxie. You're the first girl my family met who never gave up, who attracted everyone due to sheer devotion and someone whom I fell in love. I fell for your nature and your conviction which was to always be of help. You were never a burden but a blessing. Your help was a blessing."

Angela could feel the words in her heart. It striked her heart directly, like the words passed down to her chest. She could feel the meaning behind such honest words of Ryan. Her mind slipped back to the times when she attracted and impressed people. Like scenes flashing infront of her making her feel encouraged.

It was Ryan. Always Ryan who understood her, who always was there to listen and understand her. Someone who was capable of realising others emotion. It made her blush, thinking that Ryan was there in her life.

Angela didn't need words. She just smiled genuinely at Ryan, closing her eyes.
