Disclaimer: I don't own Highschool Dxd, Elsword, and I Alone level up. I have just borrowed the ideas of each of them to put together this story. In addition to these three, there will be mentions of other anime, manga, and game concepts.

As I was walking through the clearing I began to notice that the forest was becoming darker,and gloomier with each step, the trees were swaying madly because of the wind.
"This looks like something out of a horror movie." I couldn't help saying after I came across a field littered with animal bones. Just as I took a step forward,
*Growl*
Something abruptly leaped towards me, instinctively I swung my blade to stop its attack, clashing my blade against the creature's sharp claws.
It must have been surprised by my counter-attack because it leaped backward.
Now that I got a good look, it seems to be a tiger of some sort. It was covered with thick orange fur with black stips, it's mouth supporting two long fangs, and its paws had sharp claws, which were gleaming with an ominous light. Overall it looked pretty dangerous.
*Ding*
[You have been attacked by 'Forest King, Black-Clawed Saber']
Well, now that I know it's identity, time to kill it.
Gripping my blade I lunged towards the tiger, only for it to swiftly dodge by leaping to the side.
"What!? How is it so fast?" I didn't have time to contemplate the question,
because it leaped at me again, only this time it's jaw wide open, obviously trying to bite me. I quickly slashed towards it with my blade
*Clang*
The tiger and I were in a stalemate, both trying to push each other but neither one bulging an inch. When suddenly it raised its paw intending to attack me with its claws. I hurriedly sidestepped, narrowly dodging the attack.
I jumped back to gain some distance as the tiger once again began looking for an opportunity to pounce on its prey.
This was troubling, the tiger was stronger and fast than me. I had to find a way to weaken it.
... Wait, I was going at this all wrong. I was trying to fight it head-on whilst knowing it was stronger than me in a frontal confrontation. Then I guess, I'll just have to adopt a hit and run tactic for now and slowly weaken it.
"Sprint!"
[You've activated 'Skill: Sprint'.]
[Your movement speed has increased by 17%. 1 Mana will be spent every minute during its activation.]
With the speed boost, I felt faster than ever. I arrived in front of the tiger in almost an instant taking it by surprise and slashed towards it, but it wouldn't be a King if it could be taken out by just this. It hurriedly jumped towards to side, but not without consequences as a long slash wound appeared on its side.
I didn't give it a chance to recover and started slashing away like a maniac, covering its body with cuts and wounds.
"Hehe, not so tough now are ya?" I couldn't help but say after seeing its sorry state. It was obvious that I was the victor of our battle.
...
In retrospect, I shouldn't have provoked Murphy's law, because the tiger suddenly roared out and its fur started to take on an imposing red glow as its body began to swell.
*Ding*
['Forest King, Black-Clawed Saber' has entered 'Berserk' mode. All stats are increased by 20%]
"Well, shit!" It suddenly pounced on me hitting me with its paw, sending me crashing towards a tree.
"Ouf!" I spewed out blood from the crash. I think I broke a bone.
[-85 Hp]
[Host has been affected by the 'Bleeding' state. Lose 5 Hp every second.]
At least, it can't get any worse.
[Warning: 'Tiredness' state is at 62% When 'Tiredness' reaches 70% slightly reduce all stats.]
*Sigh* I really should stop tempting fate.
I looked at the now berserk tiger closing in on me. Well, I'll have to end this in one blow.
Wiping the blood from my mouth, I took my blade and concentrated on my opponent while circulating my Ki to ease the pain of my wounds.
*Growl*
It leaped towards me claws unfurled fully intending to rip me to shreds.
"While 'Berserk' explosively increases your stats," I told the beast as I rolled under it while it was still mid-air
"It also takes away your rational thinking ability. Now Die!" I yelled as I stabbed the blade through its jaw the blade coming out of its skull, killing it.
*Pant... pant*
[You have killed 'Forest King, Black-Clawed Saber'."

The host has entered a dungeon for the first time. Therefore the system has prepared a course of action for the host to follow.

"Haha" Guess I got a little stronger. I had won my first fight against a monster. This was the real start of my path. I'll continue to grow stronger as I keep fighting stronger opponents. I couldn't help but grin at the thought.
"Am I becoming a battle maniac?" At least I hope I won't become like Vali.
Anyways, it seems I got some juicy rewards. The level of my skills increased, the 'Shop' was unlocked, gained a new 'Title' and even got bonus stats.
But, what I just killed was a Boss monster. So the most important thing here is its loot. Let's check it out, shall we? Keke.

Status effect 'Bleeding' the target will lose 5 Hp every second if there are multiple 'Bleeding's stacked the target's stamina will be reduced by 1% per second.

"Well, I won't say no for extra cash."
Now then, let's check out the 'Shop'.
A screen appeared with a 'Buy' and 'Sell' button, and an empty column displaying 0, which pointed at my penniless state.
Well, not for long. I sold all the things got from the monsters and except my two Blades and the red orb.
Instantly the empty column was filled with the number 17,350 Ed.
"Holy, shit" I was surprised by the high number. Maybe it was because of those fangs, it did say it could be sold for a high price.
Now, that I have some money or Ed, whatever that means, let's see what I can buy. Instantly I was blasted with hundreds of options. There were a lot of weapons I could choose from, though there isn't any armor. I checked the weapons and noticed that they had some amazing stats, but when I looked at the price, even the weak of them was around 5,000 Ed.
Nope, I already have a good weapon. Not wasting on these.
I checked the consumables area and found that it sold potions of different kinds. Those could come in handy, but right now I have to buy some clothes.
I looked down at my dirty, ragged clothes. I bought a Black T-shirt and white shorts and changed into them throwing away my old ones.
Now, then I should use those points. Since I leveled up and also got an extra 5 points, I should have 10 points altogether. I'll put 3 into agility, 4 to strength, and the remaining 3 to stamina. Maybe I'll put a few points in the other two stats after I level up a bit.

Now then, I should get back home. Only a few hours should have passed since I started the dungeon.
-Later that evening-
I was currently walking towards the Murayama Dojo, apparently, Kaori had wanted to talk to me or so Issei said.
Oh, yeah. Kaori is the grand-daughter of the Dojo Master, Murayama Shinji. And yes, this is the same Murayama who beat Issei for peeping in the anime. The young Murayama is pretty cute, she also seems to consider me a rival, though I beat her 10 of 10 times, sometimes I feel sorry for her but I ignore it cause she keeps getting better after each fight.
As I was lost in thought, I had arrived in front of the Dojo.
"Good evening!" I said as I opened the door to see a girl with long brown hair styled in a ponytail and light brown eyes. She frowned as soon as she saw me. Oh... she seems to be angry for some reason.
"Hello, Karasu-Kun." She finally said after looking at me for what seemed an eternity.
"Soooo, why'd you want to talk with me?" I ask her after I sit on the floor.
"Why didn't you come to training today?" She asks as she sat in front of me.
"Well, I had some things to do. Also, I don't think I'll be able to come on Saturdays after this." I tell her because I'm planning to go to the dungeons every Saturday.
Why I won't go on the other days? I have school and other things to do and I won't spend my Sunday in a dungeon. Even I have to rest you know.
Kaori's frown increases, " What're you doing that's so important for you to miss training?"
"Eh... W-well, I'm a... doing some secret training?" I stutter out an answer to the unexpected to question. Why is she so curious? It's not like I'm missing anything since I come 3 days a week.
"Oh, really. What kind of secret training are you doing?" She asks leaning forward.
Too Close! I try to back away but she holds my hand. "So?" She asks again.
I take a moment to regain my composure, and tell her as smugly "It wouldn't be secret training if I told right?"
Her frown falters for a second before she scowls and starts to say something only for her to be interrupted by the sound of the door opening.
Standing at the entrance was a ripped old man with long white hair and long white beard. It was Murayama Shinji, he looked towards us and instantly locked on to Kaori holding my hand, who immediately let go.
"Hoho, was I interrupting something?" He asks laughingly.
Kaori blushed, while I being the smart-ass I was said, "Yes!", and was instantly hit on the head by the blushing mess that was Kaori.
"No, grampa. I was just asking him, why he skipped training?" She says after calming down.
"Hey, I didn't skip training. I was just doing some secret training." I tell her.
"Oh, yeah. Then why don't you say what that secret training was?" she asks me but her question was answered by Shishou.
"Now, now Kaori. You can't ask someone about their private training. It's rude to do so." He tells her only for her to start pouting. Cute!
"Fiiiiiiiine, I won't ask." She says grudgingly.
I and Shishou start laughing making her pout harder. "You guys are so mean!" She says and runs outside.
"Oops, it seems she's mad," I tell the old man.
"It seems she is." He stops laughing and eyes me a critical look in his eyes while slowly stroking his beard.
"What?" I ask confused. He just looks at me for a few more seconds and says, "You should go after her."
"Ah, right. I'll see you later then Shishou." I tell him as I start going after her.
Though I wonder why he looked at me liked that. I look back to see him standing at the door with a faraway look on his face. Dramatic Old man.

So this was quite a long chapter, mainly because of the fight scene, hope you guys enjoyed it. It was a freaking chore to write and I'll be very grateful if you guys have some tips for writing the fight scenes.
Now, I'd like to address some important things regarding the story so please read this.
The MC will be human and as for the canon plot, he will have interaction with the devil's of Kouh but I won't involve him heavily till the Kokabiel arc. And after that, I'm hoping for some regular involvements. Of course, this doesn't mean that I'll just add the MC to the fights and be done with. I'm hoping for a little more than that, so I'll be adjusting the canon villains somewhat, like minor changes in personality, goals, and everything just small changes.
So that said, Karasu will some personal story arcs outside the involvement of the canon characters. And that brings up the most important bit. I've had a stroke inspiration regarding the major antagonist of the story and no I'm not talking about Trihexa or Rizevim Lucifer. They will make an appearance later on, in the story.
The other things I wanted to say are regarding the MC's race and harem.
ZonZus had made a few suggestions for me, and to answer: I won't be making him into a God or Demi-God because If he becomes a God that might lead to some kind of huge problem among the Gods. Because they might think that since one human could do it the other could as well, while in reality, it was because of the system that he ascended not to mention the guys from the hero faction going bonkers. That said I will be doing something similar to making him a God while still remaining human.
On that note, The MC's Job or Class, I had told you guys he was based on Raven from Elsword, so in the game, they change class 3 times. At level 15,35,99 respectively. So I was gonna ask whether I should follow this trend or change it. Or Just stick a rare class at LVL 15 and have him change classes again at LvL 50 or 70. I'd like to mention he would also have a sacred gear nothing law-breaking, of course, it'll be categorized as a High-grade Sacred Gear. Also, I'll only have him change classes 2 times because there is something else I want to do when he reaches level 99.
As for the harem, I told all of you at the start that he will have a small harem so around 5 or 6 members. Once again ZonZus brought up the suggestion to not steal from other people's harems and I'd like to say that it was not my intention.
The only ones I'm having trouble deciding are Kuroka and Rossweisse. Kuroka because she kinda goes after Vali becomes a vital part of his team and then finally settles with Issei. The problem is that I'm not sure whether Kuroka actually got together with Issei because his affection for Koneko and dragon blood, not to mention Kuroka's cat nature would clash with the MC's future powers so that's the major prob regarding her. Though I have an idea of a character to replace her so I might just do that.
Rossweisse, on the other hand, doesn't have that big of a problem except for politics, though unlike Kuroka I really want her in the harem so it will be appreciated if you have some advice. Also if you're wondering about Irina, I'm thinking about having her on MC's harem but I'm not really sure cause I don't like her nor dislike her.
Now for the main girl, I'm thinking of having Murayama. And before you guys say anything no she won't be a devil or anything. I was gonna make her a part of a declined Demon hunter family and give her a sacred gear or some kind of bloodline and blame it on the butterfly effect. If she does get a sacred gear, she won't have sword birth or anything like that, I was thinking of something unique to her. As for the other harem candidates, I might add Jeanne, and I have another character I want to add. As for the last harem member do you guys want me to add a fallen angel, Raynare perhaps? If not I'll leave it blank for now and decide later.
