With this, all my physical stats are over 30 with agility at 40. As for my intelligence and wisdom, I added 2 and 1 points respectively. I still didn't have any abilities which need mana but I didn't want to neglect those too much since they might be useful in the future.

With that done, I went out of the dungeon and started heading home.

It's been 3 weeks since I started dungeon running and honestly, things aren't that different from before, except I've started hearing this strange voice. I couldn't make out what it was saying so I'll just let it be... for now at least. Since I have a suspicion that it's my sacred gear but I could be wrong.

That said I better get home soon, wonder what mom cooked for lunch, cause I'm starving.

-Next Week-

I was currently standing in my secret spot where I enter my dungeons, looking at the new dungeon displayed on the screen.

[Wolf Den - Recommended Lv.15]

Why the heck is it Lv.15? I'm only level 10 right now. Oh, wait the recommended Level is 15, which means I can still enter even though I'm a lower level only It'll be more dangerous.

What to do... Should I go in or not? Ah, to hell with it, I'm going in.

[Warning: At the host's current level the dungeon difficulty is too high, and has a high chance of death. Are you sure you want to enter?]

Well, ain't that ominous. But still, if I keep playing it safe I won't be able to grow. I know that'll I have close calls with death in the future and if I can't overcome something like this I should just quit altogether.

So I'll do it.

[You have entered the dungeon 'Wolf Den'.]

As I entered, what I immediately noticed was the smell of rotting corpses me. I was in some kind of giant cave. I started to look around before I heard multiple howls

Shit, I forgot that wolves have a great sense of smell. They should have noticed the new scent. Meaning I have a few seconds before they surround me.

Now the question is should I just wait here and let them come to me or should I go to them?

I'll stay here! No point in running if they can find me, not to mention I don't have any idea about the cave layout.

I gripped my blade and waited. A few seconds passed before 3 pitch-black wolves jumped out in front of me. I rushed towards the one in the middle and stabbing my blade through its head, killing the creature.

"Grrr!"

One of its companions leapt towards me. Ducking low, I once again slashed upwards cutting the wolf in half. The only remaining wolf began to step back obviously frightened by the death of its friends.

"Sorry, you're not getting away," I say jumping towards it with a downward slash, beheading the creature.

Hm, they weren't too hard to deal with, wonder why the system warned me?

"Growl!"

I turned around to see a pack of about 30 wolves. All growling and ready to attack.

"You know, your gonna need more than that to beat me," I say to the wolfs who just growled angrily.

Needless to say, I pounced on them without mercy.

...

"Me and my fucking mouth!" I was currently surrounded by a sea of wolves. Attacking from all sides, I had already activated [Sprint] increasing my speed in order to fight back.

Even so, no matter how many I kill they just keep coming, I won't last much longer if this keeps up. I'm already down to half Mp and as soon as the boost from [Sprint] runs out I'll die.

[Level up]

"YES! Add all points to intelligence" That's an extra 50Mp it should help me last longer. In the meantime gotta find the way out of this. Gotta kill my way through to the other side.

I started to rush through the wolves, killing the ones in front of me.

"Shit, shit, shit!" I was losing Hp fast. I had to hurry up! After a few seconds of continuous slaughter, I reached the end of the room only to be hit by fist sending me sprawling to through the wolfs and stopping after I hit the rock wall.

[-45 Hp]

"That... freaking hurt..." I was currently fixed to the wall from the crash. What the heck was that? I looked up to see the wolves parting giving way to a hulking figure.

*Ding*

[You have been attacked by 'Werewolf Lord, Amoux']

"Well, Fuck!" What was the Boss, doing out here, or is this some kind of Mini-Boss either way if I get hit by that thing I'll be finished.

[Warning: Hp is below 15%]

[Warning: Tiredness has reached 70%. Slightly lowering all stats]

I looked down at my broken left which had been used to block the Werewolf's attack and then at my wearing blade. Cracks were already starting to show.

"Damnit!" There is a chance I'll die right now, no... I will definitely die. But even so...

"I won't die, I'll win!" I yell at the beast.

I had been given a second chance. This time I had a family, I had friends. I couldn't die here in some cave. No matter what I had to win!

"My, my aren't you heroic?" Suddenly my thoughts were cut off by the sound of a soothing voice.

"Thank you. I try my best." I reply as a smile came on to my face.

"Why are you smiling? With those injuries... in this situation. You have no chance of survival." It says curiosity evident in its voice.

"Well, aren't you here with me?" I tell her as the wolves once again start closing in.

The voice becomes silent for a moment before replying, "Why? Do you think I'll save you?"

"Yes!," I tell 'her' honestly. If the voice was what I thought it was then it should help me.

"How intriguing. But you're correct. It would be hard for me to find another host similar to yourself. I don't have the time nor patience for that." As soon as 'she' said that the red orb which was inside my inventory came out and started to glow brightly emitting a tremendous amount of heat forcing the advancing wolves to back down. Then it suddenly stopped and went inside my left arm.

... Wait, what!? Weren't you supposed to my sacred gear? I didn't get the chance to clear my confusion as I was hit by an agonizing pain from my left arm which was currently covered in golden flames.

"Arrgh!"

After a few seconds, the pain began to subside along with the flames revealing a black metallic arm with fire like veins. My fingers were clawed, there was a curved red spike coming out my elbow and 3 spikes coming out of my shoulder.

[You have awakened the 'Sacred Gear: Nova Imperial Armament, Claw of the Golden Crow.]

[You have gained the 'Blessing of the Golden Crow'.]

"Holy shit!" This... this damn. Did awakening a scared gear do all this?

['Blessing of the Golden Crow' temporary effect: All damage increase by 30%]

I was speechless.

"You can admire me later, take care of our unpleasant company first."

"Oh, right." I still had some monsters to kill, I guess it's payback time.

I slowly got up from the ground and looked at the frightened wolves who were whimpering and instantly locked on to the Werewolf, who stilled at my gaze.

I slowly started walking towards it, my left arm igniting in golden flames and my blade at hand.

"Your name was Amoux, right? Well, I regret to inform you that."

Now, I was standing directly in front of it, the other wolves had already backed away, leaving me and the Werewolf at the center.

I gazed right into its eyes and said, "I'll be terminating your existence."

"Did you seriously just say that?" Hey, it wasn't that bad.

The Werewolf must have gotten angry at the threat because it threw a punch at me, which I caught with my left arm, which I should also mention was currently covered by flames. Obviously, it must have hurt because the Werewolf let out an inhuman howl.

Stabbing my blade on to the ground, I cocked my fist back and punched it square in the jaw, lifting it off the ground. As soon as it landed on the ground I grabbed my blade and started stabbing it.

After I had stabbed it multiple times it stopped struggling, eyes rolling back. Clearly dead.

"Haha, revenge is so sweet." There was no way to describe how I was feeling right now, It was just awesome. I had just killed the monster which had almost made me lose my life.

"Now, then. I should finish you guys off as well." Brandishing my blade, I rushed toward the remaining wolves and shortly after a slaughter followed.

...

I was currently back home, laying in bed. Thinking about today gave me chills. If my sacred gear hadn't awakened I would have died. Leaving my family without even a dead body. Although I had won in the end it had left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Now that I think about it, where is 'she'?

"Oh, did you finally remember?" She asked with a teasing tone.

'Sorry, I just had a lot on my mind.'

"Ah, yes, I understand. It must have been quite an experience for you, coming so close to death."

'Yeah. It really was quite an experience. I was scared, that's true but underneath all that, I could also feel some kind of excitement.' Pausing for a second before i continued.

'The taste of blood in my mouth, the sound of my heart in my ears. It was exhilarating.'

"I see..."

' I guess it's official. I'm a battle maniac'

"There is nothing wrong with enjoying battles. In fact, it's something common to all warriors. Specially swordsmen such as yourself."

'... I suppose your right.'

"That said. I should introduce myself. I am the Golden Crow or Three-Legged Crow if you prefer that. You can call me Sanzuwu."

'Ah, nice to meet you. So... mind explaining what happened?'

"Certainly, though it might take some time."

...

This will be a two-part chapter so I didn't explain nor show anything. I'll leave that for the next chapter cause I felt like it would have been an info dump.
