Disclaimer: I don't own Highschool Dxd, Elsword, and I Alone level up. I have just borrowed the ideas of each of them to put together this story. In addition to these three, there will be mentions of other anime, manga, and game concepts.

[Level Up!]

[Required level achieved. Class change quest is now available.]

"Class change?" Well, this was... intriguing to say the least. He had forgotten about this little detail.

'Obtaining a 'Class' is a very special privilege. I was wondering when the system would deem you worthy enough to get one.' remarked Sanzu.

"Yeah, well in video games getting a 'Class' decides your future path and also makes gives you a lot of benefits. The system should be the same I suppose?"

'Yes. It should be the same. But don't accept the quest now.'

Raven just snorted, "Yeah, I'm not stupid. We're inside a dungeon. Who knows what would happen if I accept it now."

'Good. Just quickly finish up the dungeon. And we'll go check that quest out.'

He smirked looking at the remaining goblins, "You don't have to tell me twice." And dashed towards them.

'Hm, not bad.'

'You've certainly come a long way since you first started. But considering the way, you raided dungeons these past few weeks... I'm certainly impressed by your tenacity.'

'Well, you know me. I hope to impress.' Raven grinned.

'Yes. But what I'm more impressed with are the unbelievable excuses you come up with. Your parents might buy them but I can't say the same about your little friend.' She said in a teasing tone.

Raven's grin faltered remembering about Kaori and her deadpan face to his Kakashi-like excuses.

'...Mah, she is getting very curious about my little excursions. Heck, she even tried following after me once. And it's not like I can keep avoiding her forever.' Raven sighed at his predicament.

'True. But for now, it's better if you avoid tangling her in the supernatural. It's not exactly a good world as I'm sure you're well aware.'

'I guess. Anyways enough about that. Let's see what the 'Class Change' is about.'

...

-[Class Change Quest]

The host has achieved the level required to change 'Class'. When the host accepts the quest, the host will be teleported to a special dungeon. The host will be granted a 'Class' by the system after completing the dungeon by considering the host's performance.

*Warning* The host will not be able to access the 'Shop' nor use any consumables during the span of the quest.

...

'Well... this is interesting. It seems I can't choose a 'Class' I want.'

'While this may seem unusual, it is nonetheless beneficial. Since you will be given a 'Class' suitable for you by the system. Allowing you to reach your maximum potential' Sanzu says.

'Yeah. I understand what your saying.' Raven then looked at the 'Warning' given by the system. 'And, it seems I can't use any consumables. So no healing or anything like that.'

'You will have to be very careful about your Mana consumption then. And since we don't have any information about the dungeon.' Sanzu said before Raven continued,'I won't know what to expect. Meaning I can't plan. And since I can't access the shop either. I should probably get a new weapon before I go in then.'

Raven opened the shop and was presented with numerous options.

'Got any suggestions?'

'I suppose since you have collected quite a bit of Ed, you're better of getting an 'A' rank weapon although it'll cost you a huge amount.'

'Your right I guess. Let's see...' Raven continued searching through the various swords till his eyes landed on a particular blade.

[Item: Sinister Wind Blade]

Rarity: A+ (Elite)

Type: Katana

Attack +105

A blade made from the 'Sinister Wind'. Because of its origins, it has unlimited durability and superior cutting and piercing power. When attacking may cause 'Bleeding' and 'Curse' status effect.

*Special Ability - Plague*

When attacking there is a chance that the sword may absorb the enemies HP and MP and store inside the blade. The user can use the absorbed HP and MP at any time.

[HP:0/200]

[MP:0/200]

...

'Damn! I hit the jackpot.'

'It certainly is quite impressive. This 'Plague' ability should be very useful inside the dungeon considering you can't use any items.'

Raven was quite delighted by the blade that is until he saw the price.

'230,000 Ed! The HELL!? If I buy it, I'll only have around 10,000 Ed left.'

'Stop being so dramatic. You can save up money later. So buy that blade. Now.'

Raven holding back his tears bought the blade. 'At least this should last me a while.'

'Yes. So now rest. Tomorrow will be a long day.'

...

Raven looked around, searching for any human presence. 'The coast is clear.'

"Well, then let's get started."

...

-[Class Change Quest]

Accept/Decline

...

"Accept!"

*Ding*

[Host will be teleported to the dungeon in 3... 2... 1]

Suddenly, he was surrounded by light. When he opened his eyes, he was greeted to the sight of... some kind of hallway?

"Well... this is interesting. Looks like I'm in a mansion or castle." He gazed forward, looking at the seemingly endless hall with lit torches illuminating the path.

"Damn, this seems like some shit out of a horror movie." He started walking forward, searching for any sign of monsters.

'Tread carefully. I cannot sense any sort of presence in this place. '

"Yeah me too. Even with Heat Detection and Ki sense."

*Whish*

Abruptly, a sword slashed towards him from the side.

*Clank*

Raven quickly parried the hit. He looked towards his opponent to find a set of armor with glowing blue eyes.

He quickly jumped back to analyze his opponent. "The hell!? Is that some kind of a Ghost Knight?"

He didn't have time to ponder about his opponent's origins as it attacked him once more. Raven once more parried the strike but this time instead of staying still he summoned his sacred gear, coating his left hand with flames and punched out. Hitting its head off. The knight flailed around a bit before falling.

"That... was something"

'Yeah, I agree. It was a sentient set of armor that's why we couldn't sense its presence. This is bad. Without being able to sense their presence you can only rely on your sight and hearing. And here with this dim lighting...' She trailed off.

I looked ahead to notice a large number of knights making their way towards me. " I really can't take this thing easy can, I?"

He was just about to rush towards them before he remembered a 'Skill' Sanzu had told him about.

"Well, here goes nothing. Ignition Crow - Incinerator!"

He summoned a large burning crow from his sacred gear and shot it forward. It pierced write through the armors leaving burning red metal remains behind.

[Level Up!]

"Holy Shit! That was awesome! That attack must have taken out over 20 of them. And I leveled up too."

'You know that you just waste 200MP, right?' Sanzu asked me.

"Don't sweat the small stuff. I can probably store that MP back up in no time. Let's go check whether there are any good drops." His companion just responded by sighing.

Raven started searching for any loot but only found a few coin pouches containing 10,000 Ed each. Everything else was just pieces of scrap metal.

"At least I got some money out of it."

After that, Raven continued walking down the hallway killing the occasional knights that sprang out of nowhere.

"This is getting repetitive real fast... " He said as he killed another knight.

*Swoosh*

Out of sheer instinct, he moved his head backward, and not a moment too soon an arrow lodged its self to where his head had been.

"... I really should stop tempting fate..." He looked sideways to see an archer.

...

Raven didn't know how long he had been fighting but he was growing tired. He had leveled up once more, though he still didn't add any points to his stats. After the archer had shown up, the mages followed, and the assassins soon after.

What was interesting was the longer he fought the more powerful they became. The armor of the knight had grown more durable not mention they had begun holding shields, the archers started to use exploding arrows, the assassins could become invisible.

Though the most interesting were the mages. At the start, they had used fire magic but then when I was unaffected by them started using, other types like Water and Ice to counter my Flames.

"Honestly, this is like some kind of survival dungeon,"

'Yes, so it seems. But you can't keep fighting for much longer. Your tiredness stat is at 57%. You have to find the boss room.'

"I'm starting to doubt whether there is a boss room. I mean we have been walking around for so long, and we still haven't found a trace of it."

She quietened for a moment before replying, 'No, I'm sure. The dungeon has to have a Boss. Otherwise, there won't be any other method that you can finish the dungeon.'

"Your right, I guess? Well, I better start searching again."

...

After some snooping around and searching the castle killing monsters along the way he did find a huge door which I'm 99% sure leads to the boss room but...

"The damn door won't open." Raven tried pushing it but it didn't budge an inch.

'Perhaps it needs some type of key to open it.' Sanzu suggested.

Raven paused for a second a looked for any keyholes.

"Hmmm!? Is this it?" He did find a hole or four wholes to be exact.

"This doesn't look like a keyhole... OH! wait those weird stones I got. They look like they would fit."

He took out 4 round stones of blue, red, yellow, black and, tried inserting them. They went in quite easily and started glowing. Then he heard some sounds coming out of the door before it opened.

...

And, that's a chapter done.

Okay, guys, first of all, I'd like to apologize for not updating for like 2 weeks, I think. I had some stuff to do and one thing led to another so yeah. Anyways bad news is I'll only be able to publish about 2 or 3 chaps a week. But they will be a bit longer at least.

Also, I'm sure you guys noticed that I made a few changes to my writing style. I've been reading some writing advice and everything from Limyaael Rants, so there's that.

And before you ask. Yes, there are similarities in the Class change quest to the one in Only I level up. To be honest the reason is that I feel like this is an ideal way of getting your class. I mean the knight, mage, assassin, archer, are the basic classes of any game or the supernatural for that matter. And having the MC fight them, I think think the system would be able to gauge him better and choosing a suitable class. That being said, I was gonna ask you guys whether I should actually have the MC use magic you know besides the sacred gear, I'm still kind of undecided on that part.

Thanks for reading have a good day.
