Kyo laid on Tohru's bed listening to the former rat tutor her on her upcoming finals. He wanted to be the one to help her study but it was kind of her and Yuki's thing. He no longer felt Yuki was competition but he still wanted to be there with them. Tohru yawned.
"I think that's enough Miss Honda." Yuki said softly. "If you just go over these points a few more times before the test, you should be fine."
"Thank you, Yuki." Tohru yawned again. "I think I've had enough for today. But I will wake up bright and early and study hard before my test tomorrow!" Tohru said with determination in her eyes.
Yuki walked to the door and glanced back. "Kyo? I hope you're not planning to stay the night here."
"Don't worry. I'll be leaving in a bit. I just wanna say goodnight." Kyo said cooly.
"Well, goodnight Miss Honda, Kyo." And Yuki was gone, closing the door behind him.
Tohru plopped on her bed next to Kyo. Her signature dazed look in her eyes. "My brain…" She complained, "I don't think I can process anymore information"
Kyo rolled over and knocked her on the head gently with his fist.
"Ow" she said holding her head.
Kyo smiled and wrapped his arms around her. He kissed her on the head. "You'll do fine tomorrow. You just need to get some rest."
"You think so?" She asked, resting her head on his chest and playing with the sleeve of his shirt.
"Yeah. I heard you studying. You know this stuff."
"Thank you, Kyo." Tohru nuzzled her face in his neck. The sensation giving Kyo goosebumps. "Mmmm" Tohru said, he could feel her lips against his neck as she spoke. "You smell good."
"You feel good." Kyo let the words slip out before he even realized what he was saying. "Uhh...I mean…." His face was turning red and he could feel Tohru's eyes on him even though he was looking away.
"It feels good" he said, "your lips on my neck."
Tohru just giggled and gently kissed him on the neck. Kyo sat straight up. "Hey! What are ya doing?!"
"I'm sorry!" Tohru panicked. "I thought you would like it. I won't do it again."
Kyo calmed down. "No..it's okay. I...did like it. I just...wasn't prepared for that."
Tohru still looked panicked. Kyo smiled at her and asked, "Would you do it again? It really did feel good."
"Okay." she said meekly and lowered her face back down to his neck.
Kyo laid back and closed his eyes. The sensation of her mouth on his body bringing him to new heights he's never experienced before. He let out a soft moan as he put his fist in the back of her hair. His sweatpants did nothing to hide his excitement. He decided he wasn't going to fight his desires this time. Tohru was right, he should feel this way about her.
He let his instinct take over. He held her tight with one arm and flipped them over. He pressed his erection against her. Grabbed both of her hands and held them above her head. Tohru's face was fully flushed. He hesitated at her shocked expression for just a moment. But her eyes were staring straight into his. No more panic in them. He kissed her deeply. Letting all his pent up desire come out with the kiss. And she kissed back with the same passion. Telling him she wanted him just as much as he wanted her.
He broke free and she let out a small gasp. The sound almost undoing him. "I love you." He told her as he let her free. He rolled to the side and pulled her into a tight embrace.
She yawned again. He knew she really needed sleep. He stroked her head, running his fingers through her long hair.
"Go to sleep." He told her.
"I love you" She said as she drifted off in his embrace.
BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.
Kyo reached out and punched the alarm clock that was making that boisterous noise. Who the hell put an alarm in his room?! And why was it so bright already? Did he sleep in and miss his morning jog?
Then he noticed the weight on his lower body. He looked down to see Tohru snuggled soundly against him. His heart swelled with adoration...until he realized that she shouldn't be here...No, he was in Tohru's room! He was the one out of place! Shigure and Yuki would think the worst if they knew he stayed the night with her.
He shook Tohru to wake her.
"Hey." He said but she just nuzzled against his abdomen. He shook her again. "Get up. Your alarm went off."
Tohru opened her eyes and smiled at him. "Good morning, Kyo." She said sleepily. She closed her eyes for just a second. Then opened them wide.
"Kyo!" She was panicked now. "What...what are you doing here!? You didn't stay here all night, did you?"
"Uhhh…" Kyo didn't know how to respond. Tohru was now up in full panic mode. She flailed around her room until Kyo grabbed her elbow. "Hey! Calm down. You're just going to draw more attention."
She stopped but Kyo could tell she wasn't calm. "Look. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to stay here. I guess I drifted off to sleep. I'll try to sneak out but even if someone notices, it's no big deal. We are a couple after all. Let them think whatever they want."
"Okay" Tohru said so softly.
Kyo smiled at her worried expression and kissed her on the temple. "I'll see you at breakfast"
Kyo quietly opened Tohru's door and tip toed out the room. He slowly pulled the door closed, trying to make as little noise as possible. It was already daylight outside. He never sleeps past dawn. Yuki may already be awake.
As if one cue, the dainty boy in question walks into the hall. Yuki looks Kyo directly in the eyes. Kyo braces himself, ready to deflect a hit. But Yuki simply turns to his room without saying a word.
"Well...that was weird." Kyo said to himself as he headed off to change into his jogging clothes.
Tohru headed home, once again, hand and hand with Kyo. She was delighted to have finished her finals and to finally be done with school. She knew now she would need to figure out her career but Kyo had asked her to spend this last summer with him. Doing lots of things together. And she couldn't turn him down!
"I know!" She exclaimed "We can go to the zoo for our first date." She told Kyo.
"The zoo?" He asked. "Wouldn't you want to go somewhere more exciting?"
"What could be more exciting than the zoo?" She responded.
"Tell that to Uotani." Kyo muttered mostly to himself. Tohru had unfortunately promised Uo and Hana that they could join them on their first date. She felt a little guilty but…
"I'm sorry they will be joining us. But I promise! We will have ten more dates with just the two of us to make up for it."
Kyo gave her a gentle tap on the head with his fist. "Don't worry about it. I wouldn't expect any less from those two."
When they made it home, they were surprised to see not only Yuki and Shigure, but Haru and Momiji as well.
"Oh! What a lovely surprise! Nice to see you Hatsuharu, Momiji" said Tohru.
"Tohru!" Momiji jumped up and wrapped Tohru in a bear hug.
"Hey!" Kyo threatened "Get off my girlfriend before I knock that stupid smile off your face."
Momiji pouted "Oh, Kyo. I've heard that you're already deflowered our Tohru. It's so bittersweet to see her innocence lost but a woman she has become!"
"What!?" Kyo yelled. Tohru's face beet red and dazed.
"What are you talking about you stupid rabbit!" Kyo raised his fist. "I'm not afraid to teach you a lesson even though you're not so puny anymore."
"Yuki!" Momiji whined, "Kyo is being mean to me again."
"That pouting doesn't work now that you don't look like a child anymore," Haru interrupted then looked at Kyo. "Yuki told us you tried to sneak out of Tohru's room this morning."
Kyo and Tohru were both wide eyed and red faced. "Uhh…" Kyo stammered, "well yeah but…" He turned his embarrassment to anger and clenched his fists. "It wasn't what it looked like! I just fell asleep!" He growled.
"Yeah! We were just sleeping!" Tohru sputtered and then started pacing around as her speech quickened. "Besides, Kyo said that we are a couple and are supposed to do these things. Though we've only kissed so far. But Kyo did...eep!" Tohru was stopped abruptly by Kyos hand covering her mouth.
"You don't have to tell them everything!" He panicked. "Come on" He said as he pulled her towards his room.
"Wait!" Shigure called out. "It was just getting good! Please tell me, what did Kyo do, Tohru?"
"SHUT UP!" Kyo yelled.
"But where are you two going? What are you going to do now?" Shigure teased but all he got in response was the sound of a door slamming.
"Do I need to implement an open door policy?" He yelled out. He didn't hear a response.
