"Why don't you just ask Zuko? I'm sure he would play the father role in the Fire Sage traditional wedding ceremony or whatever in Koh's Realm you're planning on doing to appease Ty Lee," said Mai, leaning back on the bed. She lies at Azula's side, Ty Lee on the other, resting her head on her fiancee's shoulder.
Ty Lee piped in, "Please don't talk about me like I'm not in the room."
"Because he's dead to me," replied Azula coldly, ignoring her fiancee.
Mai retorted, "Everything is dead to you."
"True," admitted Azula, raising her eyebrows as she spoke.
"I'm not dead to you," Ty Lee protested cheerily.
"Also true," Azula added.
"Yay! I am the greatest!" Ty Lee clapped her hands and kissed Azula on the cheek.
Mai said, "That's not too impressive. Don't sound so proud."
"She has declared certain types of soap dead to her!" Ty Lee argues angrily, thinking of the time Azula completely burned down half of a soap cabinet. That was a bad mental health day, which was usually when she declared things dead to her and then stuck by her word.
"Okay, good point." Mai closed her eyes.
They resumed discussion about the wedding.
