"So these these allow you to enslave summons?" Ethan asks as he held an Enslavement Crystal. "Yep. Its how I was supposed to enslave you and Diablo. Sheeva failed to enslave Ruby and Diablo though so she definitely didn't get the ritual right." Rem answers.
"Okay then. Maybe I can use this to break the spell on the cuffs?" Ethan mumbles. He Used his Semblance to reshape the Crystal into a Key.
"Uhm how are you doing that?" Rem asks. "I'm using my semblance. Atomic Restructurizing. It let's me change that shape of anything by manipulate the positions of Atoms in the item's Structure. Even change certain aspects of something." Ethan says.
He inserts the Key into his Right cuff only for it to spark and shatter. He then clasped his Mouth as His Young suddenly starts Feeling pain.
He muffled his groans in pain. But stops when he realizes its Stops. He sticks his Tongue out to see that he had an Enslavement crystal embedded into his Tongue now. His Chains revealed themselves and Extended again. Before disappearing again and Leaving Ethan confused.
"Ugh, Just great. Any more surprises?" Ethan Complains. His Cybernetics in his Eyes projected a Hologram that showed his list of Slaves has Increased to include a Krebskulm. And Rem's Status of slave to Diablo is Revoked and given to Ethan. Alongside Ruby as Well.
Rem was Shocked to say the least. "Ugh, Of course." Ethan sighs.
"So this Demon lord is Inside you? I gotta say this is quite a Shocker." Ethan says.
"Yeah." Rem says.
"Well Even though my goal is to get home. I Wanna help you with your dilemma. In fact I'm Sure Madko can Help you. He might help get rid of these cuffs too." Ethan says.
"Really?" Rem asks. "Yep. Infact lemme see if I can contact him." Ethan says. He holds his Left wrist up and Pulls a Slab out revealing a Pocket for a Hidden phone connected to his Arm by a Cord was in it. Rem wowed at it.
Ethan Chuckles and it turns on the Touch screen above the Dials. He went to his Contacts list and Found Madko's Name on the top. Above Zex, Saurus, And Imperious.
He called Madko and waited.
Madko was Finally done harvesting The corpse of the God of Darkness. Time was still paused in Remnant now and He was able to unbind Jinn from her relic, Jenn from the Relic of Choice, The two Dragons from the relics of Creation and Destruction, and provide Proper Housing for them at the mansion.
"So Madko. When do you think Ethan and Ruby will return to Remnant to continue their ventures?" Saurus asks. "Hopefully soon. But not now. They're still mad at each other. Besides I took away his Ability to travel to another universe so he won't run away. How about Salem?" He asks.
"We're Playing Rick Astley in her head constantly. Imperious took Tyrian alive and Zex has Killed Watts. What about Hazel?" Saurus asks.
"I Gave him a Lesson in irony and Now hecs Gonna Head to Ozpin to apologize for his actions. I Killed Adam as well and Took his Semblance away. The semblance is gonna be a present for Ethan later." Madko explains as He Cleans a Patch of Skin with a Knife.
"I see. And Wha-" Saurus was interrupted by the Tune Of Gangsta's 4 Life playing on Madko's phone. Madko Presses his Arm and His Hand Reveals it had A Flip Phone integrated in it. It opens and Madko answers it. "Yeah?"
"Hey Madko. Uhm so, How are things in Remnant?" Ethan hesitantly asks.
"If by that you mean time being frozen then yeah its okay." Madko says. "I see... I'm sorry what?" Ethan asks.
"I froze and reversed time to about a day in remnant for you. It was so I can negate the damage for you." Madko explains. "Huh. I see. Anyways... I was calling to ask you if you can help break these cuffs off me. Oh and to remove a Demon lord from my friend's Body so she may rest easy." Ethan says.
"Ah... Wait cuffs?" Madko asks.
"Yeah I apparently got some wrist cuffs on me, Rem, Krebskulm who is the Demon in Rem, and Ruby who according to my HUD states that they are for a lack of a Better word. Slaves. Their my slaves. I want them off." Ethan explains.
"Oh son of a bitch! Those cuffs weren't supposed to come up until you were 23! Tell me, Have they been letting you access any powers the others might have?" Madko asks. "Uhm, Yeah." "Eh, Well at least it ain't those cuffs. Uhm okay. Don't mess with them. And do not use Enslavement crystals near them..." Madko deadpans as Ethan smacks His face in regret.
"You used the enslavement crystal didn't you?" Madko deadpans. Ethan sticks out his tongue and points at the new crystal embedded into it to answer.
Madko facepalms. "Of fucking course." He sighs.
"Is it bad?" Ethan asks. "Uh, Yeah. Your stuck with them now! Have fun wearing unchained handcuffs for the rest of your life!" Madko snaps.
He pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs. "Well aside from that I can at least try to help you with the Demon lord dilemma you're in. I'll see what I can do. In the meantime just don't do anything rash. Please?" Madko pleads.
"No promises but I will try." Ethan says before Hanging up. Madko sighs. "I don't trust that sentence."
Meanwhile back with Ethan he was inserting the carapace phone back into his arm and sighs. "Well guess your stuck with me." Ethan says.
"I don't mind it myself. As long as I can finally get rid of this demon lord I'm content with whatever happens to me." Rem says.
A Knock on the door alerts Ethan to Sheeva's Presence. "Hey guys! We still gotta register at the guild! Come on you lazy bones!" Shera cheerfully states.
Ethan looks at Rem and she shrugs. He gets up and decides to follow them. What's the worst that could Happen?
'NEVER SAY THAT PHRASE EVER AGAIN SANCHEZ!' Ethan yells in his head.
He is Already nervous as He gots to sign up and reveal his Blood for the sign up sheets.
'Craaaaaaaaaap. What do I do? I'm already Anemic enough as it is. My Venom just injects a Worse dose for me as its mixed with venom and my blood, And the last time I broke my fingers I had the Quarantine myself in a Fucking pool because it flooded the damn place.' Ethan Complains.
"Uhm sir are you okay? We got Hollow Needles to drip the blood if you can't use your hands." The Desk attendant says. "Wait really? Well that's a Relief." Ethan says. 'Thank you so much! That was just lovely to hear.'
He takes the Primitive Syringe and Stabs his Upper arm from Below. It fills with his Blood And despite its tiny size Ethan did feel weaker. 'Crap I'm more Anemic than I thought.' He thought.
He let's it drip onto the Paper and Luckily it doesn't burn it. Though the attendant is a Little Surprised by the color but doesn't mind.
He finishes and is Brought to a Mirror. Ruby, Shera, and Rem have used it already. Ruby was level 35.
Ethan Touches the surface and let's his Aura flow. Or what he thought is his Aura.
The mirror shimmers and Ethan's Form is Revealed. It showed his whole body and revealed that his eyes while still rocking the black scleras now have silver pupils. "Woah. That's new. Wait Ruby your eyes are silver. Are they some kind of power?" Ethan remarks.
"I don't know." Ruby says. Clearly finding out about this now.
"Wow. a Full Body view! Even the Background. You are Clearly a Level 99. Just barely." The Attendant says.
"Huh. Neat." Ethan remarks.
Diablo is up Next while Ethan Stumbles. "Ugh. I need something that can help me produce blood soon." He remarks. "Are you okay?" Shera asks genuinely worried. "Yeah. Just anemic." Ethan says. He Falls down to the immense Magic blowback from Diablo Using the Mirror.
He got up to see the Guild Master burst in. And he's Gotta Say. This Girl doesn't know the meaning of Clothing at all.
She was a Grasswalker Demihuman with dark furred rabbit ears and Tail to boot. It contrasts her pink hair quite a Bit.
"Hi. My name is Sylvie. If you don't mind I'd like to talk to each of you." Sylvie asks.
Ethan Was barely able to listen but It seems Diablo is able to register. And They are to head to a Quest in the Forest. "Hey Ethan You okay?" Diablo asks. "Yes? No? I'm not sure anymore." Ethan says absentmindedly.
Diablo Though of Something. He Took out an Item and Stabbed Ethan in the shoulder. Not like He Noticed as he is definitely Passed out. He stabbed the Other end into His Wrist and watched his Blood get transferred into Ethan. He was considerably less pale. Diablo's Eyes turned gray then Black before it went back to white.
'Ah yeah. Infection reflection ring is the best. So glad I kept it too.' Diablo says in his Head.
He Removes the Item. A Healing Item that let's him sap or give blood from enemies and Allies alike.
Ethan Stirs awake as he feels More blood in his System.
"Ugh, What happened?" Ethan asks. I gave you Some of My blood. I had to make sure you wouldn't infect me first and Now you are considerably less pale." Diablo says. "I see." Ethan says.
He looks at his arm and he can feel the Demon lord blood in his system considerably. It eventually turns black though and he inhales at the Power boost.
His Bones heat up and more blood cells begin to be produced from the bones and entering his Veins. "Thanks. I feel better now." Ethan comments. "No problem. Can't have you passing out on us now." Diablo says.
Ethan Shivers suddenly as His Blood seems to react. He Feels his Body Gain something new but what?
"Ugh. Okay weird but not too bad. What are we to be doing anyways?" Ethan asks.
"Well Ruby is Currently Fixing her crazy weapon So after that we'll head to the Forest to start our quest." Diablo says.
Ethan nods. He gets up and Heads out. "Where are you headed?" Diablo asks. "To go help Ruby. Hopefully she'll listen to me." Ethan says.
Ruby Was Looking at her Blue prints to see what needs to be replaced and Such. "Need help?" Ethan asks.
"Go away." She says. Ethan Sighs and ignores her to Grab The Broken Crescent rose blade. He uses his semblance and it morphs to reattach itself to the Weapon. The seam was gone.
"There. Its Fixed." Ethan says. "Just because you fixed my baby doesn't mean you can get me to forgive you." Ruby states.
Ethan sighs. "I know. And I wanna say that I'm Sorry but you just won't listen." Ethan says. "Hmm?" Ruby asks. Clearly ignoring him. Ethan growls and Grasps the table. It morphs its shape and Cover's Ruby restraining her.
"Hey what gives!?" Ruby yells.
"Because you won't listen to me whenever I wanna say that I'm Sorry!" Ethan snaps.
"Its because you don't mean it! Why should I listen to the guy who betrayed my trust? The guy who I thought was a Good person? The guy I ended up crushing and had broke my heart that day when you slapped me across the face!" Ruby yells.
Ethan looks at her in shock. "You, Had a Crush, On me?" He asks. "Yes! Because you were cool and much more talented then me. I thought that maybe I could be more like you. To show the word I was more than capable to do things my own way in remnant." Ruby says. The Table reconstructing back to its original form releasing Her mid sentence.
"Why though? Why me?" Ethan asks. "I'm just some nobody. And, Well your an Amazing person. You didn't deserve a Guy like me." Ethan reveals.
"What? But then why did you slap me then?" Ruby asks.
"I was just stupid that day. Running off Emotions like its the forth of July or some shit like that. Besides I'm not used to people caring for me." Ethan reveals.
Ethan and Ruby stood there. Not knowing what to say now. Eventually Ethan spoke. "For what its worth. Even if we aren't friends. I'm sorry." He says. He walks off while Ruby tries reaching for him but pulls back. Now unsure of herself.
She Turns to her fixed Crescent Rose and then looks at her Cuff. Meanwhile Ethan was mulling over what he was told.
