SOLITUDE
It was four years after The Comet.
"I came here to be alone," said Azula coolly.
Ty Lee followed her into her bedroom after a genuine fiasco in the front hall. Her former true love was not very happy to see her in the Fire Nation, and Ty Lee was too forward by trying to embrace her.
"If I learned anything from being with you, it's that when you say that you don't mean it."
"How dare you question me! How dare you even show your face here!" Flames shot from Azula's hands and decimated far too many of her most beautiful possessions. But she couldn't care. Not when she ached with unresolved love.
Too often she lay awake regretting leaving Ty Lee two years ago, shipping her back to Kyoshi Island after their brief bliss.
But when she saw her again, all her mind and heart knew was anger. Rage.
Ty Lee inhaled deeply and took a daring step forward. "I wanted to tell you that I still love you, and nothing mean you say is going to make me stop loving you."
"A pity for you then. You are dead to my heart," lied Azula well enough to convince her ex-girlfriend.
"Yeah, I am. Because when you left me you killed me, Azula. You killed me."
"You say I killed you. Haunt me then," snarled Azula.
And so Ty Lee would.
She would.
