CATACLYSM

"My wedding is ruined," sobbed Ty Lee hysterically.

"Don't talk like that," pleaded Suki. "It's just rain."

"Do you want me to get Azula?" asked Zuko.

"Yes," sobbed Ty Lee.

Within minutes, the decorated, gorgeous princess entered the room looking icy and sullen about being summoned from her quarters where she was getting ready with Mai.

"Who made her cry?" demanded Azula, shooting evil glances at the Kyoshi Warriors and her brother.

"The rain did," said Suki bitterly, glaring back at the princess. She still could not believe Ty Lee was marrying this dreadful woman, but she supported Ty Lee no matter what mistakes she made.

Ty Lee let out a terribly strong sob.

"Give us the room," ordered Azula, and her tone even made the Fire Lord comply without objection.

Azula's coldness vanished as soon as she and Ty Lee were alone. She strode over and sat down on the bed beside her crying wife. She took Ty Lee's hand and held it on her lap.

"Why is the rain so upsetting to you? I'd marry you under the fire and brimstone of a volcano. Would you not do the same for me?"

"You really would?"

"Yes."

"I wanted our wedding to be perfect. Our romance hasn't been and I just…"

"Our wedding isn't the end of us. Anyway, I have learned during my pain and redemption that perfect is wildly boring, and we are anything but boring."

Ty Lee smiled through her tears.

She kissed Azula and squeezed her hand.

The show would go on, rain or not.
