Chapter 8: The Academy Begins and ends
AN: Here we go with chapter 8. Naruto and friends will be 10 now and are about to enter the academy. I will also note that Naruto has been training with Kurama's for the year and half he was waiting for the academy to start. Sakura and Ino will be training with him during that time . The poll for the pairing will be closed after this chapter so if you want a vote now is your last chance. This chapter will have a couple timeskips two being first month of the academy then graduation week. Naruto will make a small trip to Suna so we will see Gaara and co again but it probably won't be until the end. Mizuki is good which would have a nice impact on Naruto's life. Enjoy

Chapter 8:
* Beep….Beep….Beep...Be….smash * and with that the clock was silenced and also broken. The hand that broke it goes back under the covers of the bed. The figure in the bed grunts before turning to his side. Another figure is waiting for the figure to wake up after a few minutes he get's annoyed.
" Hey wake up…..wake up….! NARUTO WAKE UP ! " screamed Kurama. Naruto screams and falls of the bed the covers fall on top of him.
" Oww K what the hell what the hell was that for ? " said Naruto rubbing his shoulder.
" Really kit did you forget what today is ? " said Kurama
" Duh. It's Monday and the first day..of ...the …..! THE ACADEMY ! crap crap crap crap I'm going to be late Sakura-chan and Ino-chan are going to kill me " said Naruto. He runs to the shower and 5 mins later he is changing. 2 minutes later he teleports to his apartment from his parents home and his out the door with bread in his mouth. He jumps down onto the road and makes a mad sprint to Sakura's house.

" If we are late I'm going to hurt him " said Sakura
" Yea I don't know about you but I don't want to spend my first day at the academy punished for being late " said Ino
" Oh girls don't worry you have plenty of time to get there. I'm sure he is on his way. Besides have either of you tried calling him " said Sayuki. The girls blush before Ino takes out her cellphone. She was about to call him when they see a small cloud of dirt heading their way. As the cloud gets closer they figure heading towards them and as it gets closer they can see it's Naruto with what look's like a squad of anbu chasing him.
" Oh Naruto what did you do this time " said Sayuki out loud.

" I swear I didn't do anything this time I swear " said Naruto to the anbu that was chasing him. Halfway to Sakura's house the anbu began chasing him and Naruto didn't know why.
He can see Sakura, Ino, and Sayuki outside the house waiting for him. With the anbu so close behind him he grins with an idea forming in his head. The anbu thinking Naruto wasn't stopping didn't bother slowing down. Naruto all of sudden stops in front two kids and an adult at it was to late to stop themselves.
" Hi Sakura-chan hi Ino-chan hi…" Naruto didn't get to finish the anbu that were chasing him fail to slow down when he stopped and 3 crash into him with the fourth dodging the pile up by jumping over them unfortunately he went face first into one of Sayuki's tree.
" My back " said one Anbu
" My neck " another one said
" My leg " said one more
" My face : said the one that crashed into the tree
" Medic " said Naruto who was buried under three anbu. He looks at the girls before giving a smile and a thumbs up. The girls giggle before helping them get up.
" Oh Naruto-kun what did you do this time ? " said Ino
" And why did you let the anbu crash into you ? " said Sakura
" uhhhh no comment now a little help here " said Naruto
" You kids better hurry or you'll be late for the first day of the academy " said Sayuki
All three kids quickly say their byes to Sayuki and in Naruto's case the anbu as well. As she see's them leave for the academy Sayuki can't help but be amazed how much the kids have grown in the year in half they started training. She knows they will be ready for the challenges they will face in the future. As she looks at the anbu she chuckles.
" Did you have fun ? " she asked
" For the most part " said an anbu with a cat mask on
" Ah Neko you just couldn't help chasing the boy ? " said Sayuki
" Hey in my defense he is hard to catch " Neko said with the other 3 anbu nodding in agreement.
" Yes he will make a fine Shinobi " Sayuki said with a smile.

Naruto and the girls have arrive at the academy. They see a bunch of kids mostly their age with their parents. Some look happy other look nervous but mostly look scared. Ino points to where the clan families are at. Naruto didn't like how some of the clans thought so highly of themselves that they won't be near a civilian family. Speaking of clans there goes the clan all three of them came to hate The Uchiha clan. Naruto has been hating the Uchiha clan since he found out who his parents were. It didn't help that they are the police force and laugh at him while he was beaten. He also saw that Sasuke-teme was going to be in the academy . Naruto hates him because he made fun of Sakura and Ino when they tried to be friends with him about 2 months ago he called them losers and weak. and Naruto did not like that one bit.. Naruto can also hear Kurama growl. He was about to talk to him but Sakura tugging on his arm get his attention
" Huh " Naruto said
" Naruto-kun I said are you ready? " said Sakura
" Oh yea Sakura-chan I'm ready " he said
" Are you ok ? " asked Ino
" Yea… I was just thinking about a few things. Oh by the way K said that just because we started the academy we will have less training. We are to go to Sakura's house for an hour down time before we resume training " Naruto said
Both girls nod their heads and all three start walking to the academy At the main entrance the some kids going in already probably finding their classes They check thers and cheer when they have the same class. As they start walking Naruto spots Mizuki about to open one of the classrooms and walk up to him.
" Mizuki-sempai " Naruto waves to him. Mizuki waves back and Naruto Sakura and Ino approach him
" Hello kids are you ready for the first day ? " said Mizuki
" Yes sempai " answered Ino
" Good now remember make sure you don't slack off with your training " he said
" We know Sempai " said Naruto
" Are you going to be our instructor Mizuki sempai ? " asked Sakura
" I'm sorry kids but I'm doing third years this time around. " said Mizuki. He saw how Naruto gets sad before messing with the kids hair making huff and the girls to giggle
" Now Naruto don't give the teacher a hard time ok….oh look at the time you kids better be off to class " said Mizuki
" Ok Sempai see you around " said Naruto. Ino and Sakura wave and follow Naruto to the classroom they are supposed to be at.
When they arrive they all take a deep breath before walking in . The first thing they see is that they are a quite a few clan kid's here. Ino spots Choji from the Akimichi and Shikamaru from the Nara clan. Sakura spots an Aburame judging by the sunglasses and hoodie. and a Hyuga. Naruto sees what looks like a Inuzuka and of course the Uchiha asshole. Naruto had asked the girls where they wanted to sit. Ino wanted to sit by the window and Sakura wanted to sit in the middle. So Naruto made the choice he had Ino sit by the window he sat next to her and Sakura next to him so she was somewhat in the middle. When they see the instructor they all go quiet.
" First off I like to welcome you to the academy. We hope you are prepared for the next four years by the time you graduate you are going to have the tools needed to be genin. Look all around you not all of you will make the cut. To be a ninja for Konoha means you are ready to fight for your village, to take a life for your village, and to die for your village. Now I'm going to take attendance please say here and raise your hand" said the instructor
As he begins reading down the list he looks at all the clan kids in this year class and sighs mostly all clan kids think to highly of themselves to work with civilian kids. As reaches the end of the list one name shocks him before getting angry.
" Uzumaki Naruto " he said. The boy looks at him before raising his hand and saying here .The Instructor tries to keep his anger in check
' What is the demon brat doing ?. He shouldn't be here much less alive' he thought to himself. While he his trying not to show his anger Naruto has already picked it up.
' Hey K did you notice that ' said Naruto
" Yea kit the look he gave you although it was a few seconds I saw it. Hate the look was pure hate " said Kurama
' Yup it's going to be a long 4 years ' said Naruto
" All you have to do is avoid making him target you " said Kurama
' True but it might be hard after all he might try to hinder my progress to become a Genin' said Naruto
" That's a possibility. Ask Sakura and Ino an see if they have a solution for this. We can't let this happen. After school you need to bring this up to Mizuki." said Kurama
' Yea ok for now let's try to see if he will try anything funny.' said Naruto
" Ok keep a really good look out " said Kurama
Naruto stops his conversation with Kurama and sends a txt to Sakura and Ino . They replay and focused on the teacher . Both girls look a Naruto and then back to the teacher. The teacher looks back at Naruto and gives him a dirty look the girls catch him and mentally sigh. The teacher starts talking about what to expect for the next 4 years and What they have to complete. He starts handing out forms they have fill out with their information. When they finish they start passing them down to the teacher . All three notice how he grips his sheet and they have one thought in common.
' This is going to be a long 4 year's' they all thought .
….4 years later…
" This is the last month before we graduate can you believe it " said Sakura
" I know I can't wait one more month and we become genin's " said Ino
" I'm so proud of you girls. Where is Naruto?" said Sayuki
That question was answered when out of nowhere Naruto lands in front of them with a little bit of fire on his shoulder he quickly puts it out. He smiles at the girls making them blush and hugs Sayuki. With a quick wave they head for the academy. The past 4 years have been kind to all three of them. They are all 14 with Ino being the last to turn. They all hit their growth spurt with Naruto being the most obvious. Sakura now is 5ft4'she now has short neck length hair her phone is behind her in a special pouch attached to her belt she has her A-T shoes on only Naruto has modify the shoes so that the wheels were to pop out from the bottom of them same for Ino. She is wearing black shorts and over that a pink skirt she is also wearing a black and pink blouse she also has a pair of sunglasse just like Naruto's . Ino is also wearing the shoes and sunglasses but she is wearing anbu pants with tape around the ankle and a purple belt she is wearing a purple sweater with a black vest her hair is in a ponytail her phone is on her left syujyyjyjyjyjyjyjyide she is 5ft3 . Naruto is what making some of the people stare at him and some of the older girls are blushing while looking at him while Ino and Sakura growl at them. Naruto is wearing dark blue anbu pants with an empty kunai holster strap to his right leg and his phone is in his left holster he is wearing a vest that is unzip and a black muscle shirt that he is wearing showing his developing muscle which is probably what is getting the older girls to stare at him that or bright blue eye's that Ino once quoted as to stare at two deep blue oceans while Sakura she can see the bright blue sky combine it with his 5ft10 height which makes him the tallest of his class and makes him look older and the girls can't help but to stare.
" Naruto-kun you think we are ready to become genin's ? " asked Ino
" We better be or else all the training K and your mom put us thru would be for nothing " answered Naruto
All three shudder when they think about Kurama's training regiment which they will experience today after the academy.
" Yea well at least you were able to show your skills without being sabotage by that instructor " said Sakura
" Don't remind me of that asshole. A whole year they took a whole year before the got him " said Ino angrily
" It's ok Sakura-chan, Ino-chan I'm not mad. I'm just glad it caught within the same year. I don't think I could have been happy if they let it happen for the 4 years " said Naruto
" Yea your right. Still it was still amazing of Mizuki how he took him out" said Sakura
….FLASH BACK 1st YEAR THE ACADEMY….…
" Ok class today is review day and since we are in the last week of the year we are going to unluck your chakra . Remember your exercise . " said the chunin instructor.
" Naruto-kun I forgot my book think we can share " said Ino. Naruto smiles before nodding and moving the book towards her .
As the review was underway the class so far as the intsructor is going over the past year he is writing on the chalkboard while explaning the process of promotion to next rank. As he does his graph he turns to look at the class and sees the Yamanaka heir to close to the demon brat. Just thinking about that demon brat makes his blood boil. The whole year he has been trying to to make the brat quit the course. He tried by giving him fake homework but he had came with some follow students and said if this was correct or not of course if he said he was correct then the other kids were wrong it would be big problem. Then he tried marking his homework wrong to fail him. But the Haruno girl came to him saying that she had helped the brat with his homework so he had to correct it or else mark the Haruno girl wrong and that is a big negative the Haruno girl is really smart and by the looks hove it so his the brat.
' That danm brat everything I've tried everything it didn't work ' he thought to himself
" Uzumaki what are you doing that close to the Yamanaka " the chunin said
" Uhh but sempai…." Naruto try to say
" No I don't want to hear your excuses go outside and face the wall " said the chunin
" But sempai he didn't do " said Ino
" This does not concern you Ino now Naruto go now " said the Instructor. Ino was about to say something and Sakura was about to say something but Naruto stops them both and just get's upand goes out the door. As he goes outside and faces the wall Mizuki is going out for lunch he sees Naruto facing the frowns while walking towards him.
' Again I'm really think the Hoakage should put a stop to this ' Mizuki thought
" What happen now Naruto ? " he asked
" I don't know sempai I was sharing my book with Ino-chan and said what was I doing so close to her I tried to explkain but he just kicked me out " said Naruto
" Well no more of this come we are going to the hokage right now. " said Mizuki
" Ok sempai let's go " said Naruto
With that Mizuki grabs a hold Naruto and teleports him to the Hokage's office. Once they arrive they see the receptionist writing. She stops to look at them and smiles at Naruto. Naruto smiles back and looks at Mizuki. Mizuki nods before looking at her.
" Hello we need to see the Hokage right away " said Mizuki
" Oh may I ask why ?" said the lady
" It's about the academy and his studies but the issue has to be address " said Mizuki
" Yea Mari-neechan it's important " said Naruto
" Very well let me get him ( pushes the buzzer ) Hokage-sama you have two guest here wanting to see you ". said Mari
" Very well send them in " said the Hokage
" Ok guys you can go in " said Mari
" Thanks Mari-neechan " said Naruto
They walk up to the door before Mizuki pushes the door open they see the Hokage doing paperwork. He looks unhappy doing the paperwork. He looks up to see Mizuki and Naruto coming in. He smiles at them and puts down the pen. He motions them to sit.
" Ahh Mizuki welcome and Naruto-kun shouldn't you be in the academy right now ?" asked the Hokage
" Well thats why we are here to talk about Hokage-sama " said Mizuki. The Hokage sees how serious Mizuki so he gets serious as well.
" What is wrong ? " he asked
" Well this is what is happening …." and so for a half hour Mizuki and Naruto explain what has been happening at the academy with his studies.
" And so today I shared my book with Ino-chan and I guess he didn't like that so he kicked me out " finished Naruto
" I see well today that will end I will make sure of that " said Hiruzen
" What are you going to do Hokage-sama ? " asked Naruto
" Your statement can put him under the radar but with out actual proof we can't get him so I have plan " said Hiruzen
" What is it Jiji ? " asked Naruto
" Well it's this …..
….BACK AT THE ACADEMY…...….
" All right class we will begin unlocking your chakra. " said the Instructor. Sakura raises her hand
" Yes Sakura question " he said
" Will Naruto-kun be back in class for this ? ". Sakura asked
" Sorry but until I take him to the head of the academy for punishment he won't be back in class " he said. Inisde he is smirking he knows Naruto will have trouble next year if he dosen't unlock his chakra. But then the door opens and Naruto comes in with Mizuki behind him
" Mizuki what are you doing here ? ". he saida little annoyed that he brought the demon brat back in the class
" Nothing just came back from the headmaster with him. I guess he saw him outside asked him why he was there and took him for punishment. After that he saw me and told him to escort him back to class " said Mizuki
" I see well Naruto take your seat " he said with an annoyed expression which Naruto and Mizuki caught on.
Naruto takes his seat next to Sakura and Ino he watches as Mizuki leaves before he nods to him.
" Ok class as I was saying before I was interupted we are going to unluck your chakra . " said the Instructor
Naruto is looking at the teacher before he gets elbowed by Sakura. He looks at her and she smiles before passing some papers.
" Here you go Naruto-kun I took the liberty of coping the notes fo today here you go " said Sakura
" Thanks Sakura-chan " said Naruto
" Uzumaki what I say about talking " said the chunin
" But sir Naruto didn't do anything I just gave him the notes that he missed " said Sakura
" No excuse he shouldn't have misbehave " said the chunin
" But he didn't I forgot my book and was sharing his with me " said Ino
" Stop covering for him " said the chunin
" Well I've seen all need to see " said Naruto standing up getting everybody to look at him
" Huh " said the instructor
" Mizuki please come in Bear ,Tora please come in as well " said Naruto. As he finished talking. Mizuki comes in and two anbu appear.
" What is going on here what are you doing brat " said the Instructor
Naruto smirks before forming a handsign a white cloud covers him follow by a poof once the smokes clears everybody sees the Hokage standing in Naruto's place.
" I wonder why Naruto was having so many problems at the academy but was excellent outside of it" said Hiruzen
" Quit playing you brat and get out of my class. " said the Instructor. They hear the door open an Naruto comes in slurping on a cup of ramen. Everybody is shocked when they see him they all turn around and see the Hokage. They all look back at Naruto who is still slurping on the ramen. He looks at them before slowing down his slurping.
" Huuhh what's up " said Naruto. Everybody sweatsdrop
" S...s..s….so… if you there eating the ramen then that means that you are really the..H..H..Hokage-sama " said the instructor
" Well that's right and I've seen enough, Boar take him to Ibiki, Tora get Iruka from the east gate tell him to come to the academy. " said Hiruzen
" No you can't do this I was getting a promation to jonin " he said angrily
" You should thought of that before you tried to sabotage one of my future ninja carreer " said Hiruzen
" No that monster dosen't deserve to be anything " said the intructor
" Not your choice in the matter. Now take him to Ibiki for questions " said Hiruzen
" No no no no no ( he looks at Naruto ) you you did this you will PAY " he said charging at him the anbu quickly grab him and restrain him .
" Get off hove me .! HE HAS TO PAY! " he screamed. The anbu hits a pressure point and the instructor gets knocked out.
" Class I would like thank all you for staying calm during this fiasco. And Naruto why are you slurping ramen ?".said Hiruzen
" I got hungry so I wanted ramen can't blame me for that " said Naruto. Everybody sweatsdrop before looking at the Hokage . He smiles and shakes his head. The door to the classroom opens and a chunin enters the room he has dark brown hair in a ponytail everybody notices the scar running across the bridge of his nose. He walks to the Hokage and kneels before him.
" Hokage-sama you requested my presence " said Iruka
" Ahh yes Iruka please stand I'm glad you came " said Hiruzen. Iruka stands up looks at the classroom before giving the hokage a confused look.
" Sir why I'm I here ? " asked Iruka
" Yes well we just had an incident in here and now we have spot for an instructor position open " said Hiruzen
" Hokage-same " said Iruka
" Yes Iruka, Mizuki said good things about you. Your way of explaining things to fellow chunin and some of the genin also say good thing about you. These kids need a good teacher. " Hiruzen said
" Hokage-same it would be my honor to teach these kids " said Iruka
Naruto walks to his seat. The Hokage walks down the stairs and as they meet halfway in the stairs. Naruto just nods at him and the Hokage nods back. The Hokage walks down the stairs and Naruto to his seat. As the Hokage steps down he turns to to face the class.
" Sorry class for taking your time…... Now students this will be your new instructor his name is Iruka Umino treat him well and he will treat you well " said Hiruzen
" Hello class, Let's try to get along for the next 3 years. " said Iruka smiling towards the class
" WELCOME SEMPAI " said the whole class
" He..he he he, well Iruka looks like they will give you little trouble. Now class I will be taking my leave. Remember kids the will of fire is in all of you use to stay strong and keep your mind sharp ? " said Hiruzen
" Hai Hokage-sama " the whole class said they stand and bow to him. The Hokage smiles and waves at them before leaving the class
" Ok class seems by the notes that you were about unlock your chakra so lets get to it so first up is Aburame Shino " said Iruka

After the incident Everybody saw the diffrence in education they were receiving from the previous instructor. Nobody question why Naruto was targeted but they saw a big difference in his grade. In the following 3 years Naruto went from the dead last to tie with Sasuke Uchiha for rookie of the year. Of course Sasuke isn't happy about that. Naruto tried to befriend him during their 3rd year in the academy when his whole clan got slaughter by his brother. But that turn sour when the Uchiha started insulting Sakura, Ino, and Naruto. It took Ino, Sakura,and Choji who was walking buy at the time to hold Naruto from what Naruto said ( was an ass kicking waiting to happen with the Teme)
Since then both Naruto and Sasuke have been at each others throat since then well mostly Sasuke trying to pick fights with Naruto.
" I think all three hove us will pass with flying colors" said Naruto
" Ahh yea but you might be rookie of the year Naruto-kun " said Naruto
" Yea Naruto-kun can't wait to see the teme's face when you get the title " said Ino
" Now girls it's just a title it doesn't matter to me I just work hard. Not to mention don't you remember what K said about glory and cockiness ? " said Naruto
" The path that seeks glory will lead to arrogance which is the way of the Uchiha " both Ino and Sakura said.
They both remember what Kurama had said about the Uchiha history and other warrior who let their arrogance get the better of them. Plus Kurama sort of beat it into them every time they got cocky which Naruto found amusinguntil Kurama would give him mental slaps.
" Yea so we'll see what happens. Besides You girls are the best in the kunoichi's class so don't sell yourself short " said Naruto. The girls blush at his comment
" Awe " they both say.
As they walk to the class. Kurama is reading some data when he hears the kids groan. He looks up to see a monitor which sees and hears what Naruto does and what he sees make him groan as well. In their way was the Uchiha brat with his follow fan girls behind him. The brat won't move out of their way and the stupid fan girls are egging him on.
' This will be good….well for us ' thought Kurama
….….BACK IN THE OUTSIDE WORLD…...…..
" Well….well….well if it isn't the losers. Shouldn't you three be losers somewhere else ?" said a smirking Sasuke
" You tell him Sasuke-kun "
" No one is better than you "
" Marry me Sasuke -kun " \
" They are losers " was what the fan girls were saying. Naruto Ino and Sakura just keep walking ignoring and making the Uchiha angry . Naruto was about to talk to Ino when Sauske gets in his way .Naruto shakes his head and moves to the side. Sasuke gets angry at being ignored.
" Hey loser I'm talking to….ahhh " Naruto bumps into him making him fall. Sakura and Ino try no to giggle when Naruto looks confused.
" Oh Teme I didn't see you there. Sakura, Ino did you see him coming ? " asked Naruto. The girls giggle while the fan club gets angry.
" No Naruto-kun I didn't see this asshole " said Ino
" I didn't see the prick coming either Naruto-kun. Maybe he should watch where he is walking " said Sakura
" He...he he well you heard the ladies, You should really watch where your going Teme " said a smirking Naruto
" Why you….." Sasuke was about to say something
" Well Teme save it for later, and Shove it up your ass we are going to be late for class " said Naruto walking away the girls following him. Sasuke gets angry gets up, charges at Naruto only for Naruto to sidestep and make him fall again . The three of them just shake their head and keep walking.
" He never gives up does he " said Naruto
" No he doesn't but I give him points for being persistent thou " said Ino
" And I will take your points away for him charging at Naruto and failing " said Sakura
They all break out laughing before walking into the academy. They take their seat and begin talking about what to expect when they become genin . They see the door opens and Iruka comes in follow by Mizuki. Mizuki had join the class during the third year when the class began with physical training, weapon training, and taijutsu training, and practicing their basic techniques. Bunshin jutsu, Kawarimi no Jutsu, and Henge no Jutsu. Naruto,Sakura,and Ino had master those three training with Kurama well Naruto already had the Kage Bunshin No Jutsu under his belt which is being use right now at his home with satellite well now satellites he had launch a couple more 4 to be exact he has one around Suna helping with communications with Gaara and keeping track of his wind turbines. that he had setup. The Turbines have greatly improve his energy levels all his satellites have been working at maximum efficiency. Plus all other systems have been in the green it gave Kurama and him time to build more things in his parents house.
" Welcome class this is the final week before we have the exams. All hove you have been great for the past 3 years. Today is a special occasion. The Hokage has been so proud of this year class that this year instead of just me and Iruka grading and judging The Hokage will help as well. " said Mizuki shocking the whole class.
" So today and till the exam day we are reviewing, training, you may request independent training but you may not leave the academy " said Iruka
" Hai-sempais " they all said. With that Mizuki and Iruka take the class outside for training. Naruto , Sakura , and Ino decide to do their training exercise. Kurama had decided that it would be best if Naruto and the girls kept what they know to genin levels until the graduation exam. At first Naruto was mad that he couldn't show his skills to one up the Teme but Kurama told him well more like mind slap him about the risks of letting the higher up know how far he has come so after a couple of hits Naruto agreed.
" So Naruto-kun what are we doing after this ? " said Sakura
" I don't know yet Sakura-chan I think Kurama wanted to show us something after the academy so there's that " said Naruto.
" Oh do you know what he his going to show you Naru-kun ?" asked Ino
" No K said that it was going to be a surprise for us " answered Naruto. Ino was about to ask another question when they see Sasuke and his fan girls approaching.
" What do we have here 3 losers just wasting space " said Sasuke making his fan girl scream how cool he his
" I see stick is still stuck up your ass Teme. I wonder how far its up now " said a Smirking Naruto. Making Sasuke mad.
" Hey! " one of the fan girls said " Don't talk to Sasuke like that you LOSER! " she said
" Your one to talk . Why don't you stop acting like a slut in heat and actually train to be a kunoichi " Sakura told her making her and the rest of the fan girls mad. When Ino sees that the girls were trying to do something she smiles at them.
" Don't try and do something we know won't work ,or must I remind you girls what happens when we have our taijutsu sparring matches here at the academy mmm? " said Ino still smiling at them. \
The fan girls shiver. Hove all the girls in the class Sakura and Ino are the top kunoichi's in this year class. When the class has their taijutsu sparring matches those two always dominate their opponents. Hinata Hyuga is in third only because she had just recently started hanging around with Naruto, Sakura, and Ino. The girls shiver at the thought of facing any of the three. And just when it couldn't get worse.
" Oniichan what is going on here " said a voice that scared the fan girls. All hove of them turn and see Hinata Hyuga walking their way .
During the first two years she was shy , timid, and consider weak by many people. After Naruto found her crying alone after a day at the academy he started hanging out with her and brought her to meet Sakura and Ino. After a while she started being more courageous she stopped stuttering and started being more outgoing. Naruto also learn from Hinata that she became weak and shy after they try to kidnap her and it got worse after her mother died. Naruto was nearly choked to death by her when she told her that he was the one the spotted the shinobi from cloud and warn the anbu and help with the capture (see end of chapter for more info on that story ). After that Hinata started doing what Naruto asked of her. From there on Hinata has stuck with Naruto calling him brother which Naruto like and started calling her sister which she loved in return.
" Nothing Hinata-chan just the teme being a teme " said Naruto
" Hi Hinata-chan " said Sakura
" Hi Hina-chan " said Ino
" Hi Sakura-chan Hi Ino-chan " said Hinata
" Excuse me Hyuga !... this is not any of your business " said Sasuke with a sneer . Of course no one cared
" So Ayame Nee-chan said she and her father are making a new ramen flavor for me to try " said Naruto
" Really that is very nice of them " said Hinata
:" I still can't believe he can eat 15 bowls and not get sick " said Sakura
" So says the girl that ate 10 bowls the last time we were there. " said Ino
" You know after all that training we did we worked up an apetite or did you forget about your 11 bowls mm " countered Sakura
" Hey! I'm talking to you losers don't ignore me " said Sasuke getting angry at them.
" Uhhh oh teme didn't know you were still there. What can I do for you ? " asked Naruto. Making Sasuke angry and the fan girls sneer at him. Sakura, Ino, Hinata are laughing next to Naruto
" Why you little…." Sasuke was interrupted by Mizuki
" Ok class time to come inside for review after that lunch " said Mizuki
" Ohhh right lets go girls after the review I want some ramen " said Naruto
" Naruto-kun you should eat something other than ramen " said Sakura
" Huuhh nah I'm fine Sakura-chan " said Naruto
" Forget it Sakura when it comes to ramen with Naru-kun you are never going to win " said Ino
" True " said Sakura
" Ok lets go back to class " said Hinata
As they head back to class the leave a fuming Sasuke behind with his fan girls trying to cheer him up. They head back to class .
…..…TIMESKIP GRADUATION DAY…
" Today is the starting point for the rest of your lives. If you succeed in passing you will become a ninja for Konoha" said Iruka
" This will be a whole new world for you. You must be prepare both mind and body for the challenges ahead. To be a shinobi or kunoichi for the leaf village means to put your lives on the line and to make sacrifices " said Mizuki
" If I may interrupt here I would like to say a few words to these future ninja I will be giving orders to. " said a voice from the door . Everybody looked at the door to see the hokage there with a smile on his face. Everybody gets up and bows at him.
" Welcome hokage-sama " everybody said to him
" Well Iruka, Mizuki your class seems to be well train. I will be looking forward what they can bring to my village." said Hiruzen .
" Thank you Hokage-sama " they both said
" Student's today is the turning point for you. If you pass the exams your life will changes; You must be prepare for anything on the battlefield, any hesitation will cost your life, your teammates on the field will be your brothers and sisters you will take care of each other out there. So with that in mind today I will be observing all exams so try your hardest. said Hiruzen
" Ok class first exam is the written exam you have one hour to complete it Any cheating will be answer with imidate disqualification of the entire exam. " said Mizuki
" We will provide you with a blank sheet of paper incase you need to write down some problem's down. " said Iruka
As they pass the exams Naruto wishes Sakura and Ino good luck and they do the same to him. He turns to Hinata to do the same she smiles and nods to him . Kurama also tells him good luck. As soon as he gets his test he waits until everyone gets the test. Once everyone gets there test Iruka pulls out a timer sets it for one hour.
" Ok class you may begin " said Iruka
20 minutes into the test and Naruto, Sakura and Ino have completed their test and are secretly texting eachother . after a while the whole class is done and now they go outside for their target practice. Iruka and Mizuki line up the kids in alphabetical order by last name. Iruka pulls out box fill with pouches and Mizuki hands a pouch to each one of the students . Hiruzen is in the back sitting down on a tree trunk waiting for the students to line up.
" Ok class as you can see Mizuki as giving you a pouch; In the pouch you will find that it contains 10 shuriken and 10 kunais . Now during battle weapons will scarce so accuracy is a must " said Iruka
" As you can see there is a target dummy. You need 8 out of 10 for each one to pass . So first up is Shino Aburame " said MIzuki
When it came to Sakura turn some of Sasuke's fangirls try to insult her but she ignores them . When Iruka gives her the signal . she grabs two kunais in each hand and begins throwing them. two of them hit the dummies eye the rest hit the dummies target center. The shuriken all hit their target some aiming for the crotch area making all the males except for Naruto shiver.
" Huhh yes well *cough. cough* very good Sakura 10 out of 10 for the kunai and 8 out of ten for shuriken " said Mizuki . When it came to Sasuke turn all the fan girls were cheering him onmakin the hokage frown at thelack of discipline from the girls and the arrogance of the Uchiha brat .
" Watch and learn losers " said Sasuke. He grabs the shuriken and throws them at the dummy all shuriken hit the mark next came the kunai which only nine hit but so far Sasuke has the highest score .
" Impressive Sasuke 10 out of 10 for the shuriken and 9 out of 10 for the kunaiso far you got the highest score" said Mizuki
" But of course; I'm an Uchiha after all " said a smirking Sasuke.
" Right well next up is Naruto Uzumaki please step up " said Iruka
" Mmph don't choke loser " said Sasuke . Naruto ignores him and waits for the signal .
" Ok Naruto whenever your ready " said Mizuki.
" Hai sempai " said Naruto. Naruto closed his eye's and takes a deep breath . Suddenly he opens his eyes and throws all the kunais and the shuriken at the sametime . All the kunai and shuriken hit their mark shocking every student present. The Hokage his hidden anbu and the Instructors were impress . All the weapons hit their mark andthehokage sees some were lethal hit's on the body.
" Amazing Naruto 10 out of 10 on both new record of this year. " said Iruka
Sasuke gets angry but before he can say or do anything they move on to the next person who was Ino. She scored 9 on both weapons . After all the students finish they head to a different location. They arrive at a sparring matt. All the kids sit around the matt and wait for the chunin instructors to set the exam.
" Ok class for this exam you have to last 5 min with either one of us to pass. Now all of you are probably wondering " How can I beat a chunin " well don't worry we are going to be holding back by 90% and for the most part we are going to be blocking but like I said for the most the part " said Izuki.
Sasuke didn't like that idea. He wanted to fight Naruto to prove that he is an elite and Naruto is the dobe and beneath him. He looks for the dobe only to find him laughing with his stupid friends . He gets angry at Naruto's care free attitude he get's up making Mizuki, Iruka, and the Hokage look at him.
" Iruka sensei I don't want to fight you to I want to fight Uzumaki Naruto " said Sasuke .
All the other students turn to look at him with their mouth open . Naruto just nods his head in disapproval. Mizuki and Iruka just look at each other before looking at the their Hokage who had his eye narrowed at Sasuke. Hiruzen did not like the tone the Uchiha boy is using thou he know it's the villagers and the elders fault for spoiling him . He sees Naruto talking to the Haruno and Yamanaka girls he looks like he disapproves as well which makes him smile.
' Good Naruto don't let him get to you' thought Hiruzen
" Well Sasuke that is not how the exam works ; Even if you fight him it won't matter for your grades" said Iruka
" Then I demand to fight the dope for the rookie of the year title after all we are both tied for it " said Sasuke getting angry at being denied
" Sasuke who ever wins the title it's because we earn it not because we are showing off or trying to impress anyone get thru your thick skull " said Naruto
" Shut it dope I'm an Uchiha an elite that title is mine not some clanless orphan loser " said Sasuke.
Naruto is tryng so hard not to rush to him and beat the livin hell out of him and he was about when he felt Sakura and Ino grab his hand . They both give him a smile which he returns before calming down. Sasuke frowns at the way he c Naruto calm down .
" Look at you taking orders from lower losers than your self pathetic you should just hand over the title to me " said Sasuke smirking at the crestfallen look the girls made .
Sasuke was about to say something when he feels scared he doesn't know why but he can sweat coming down his forehead. He turns to see Naruto and fear increases Naruto is giving him a look that if it could kill he would of been dead by now . Mizuki ,Iruka, and Hiruzen are shocked that Naruto is giving off killing intent weather he knows it or not . Some of the other kids feel it too and start to back away from him only Sakura and Ino stay with him.
" Look asshole you can say whatever you want about me but never insult Sakura and Ino ever again " said Naruto making his killing intent increase . Suddenly the third Hokage walks in between them which makes the killer intent stop which in turn makes Sasuke relieved. But it was cut short when the hokage stares at him with angry eyes that makes him almost wet himself.
" Lets be clear on one thing Sasuke you are an academy student . not jonin or chunin or even genin you are still an academy student you with me so far ( Sasuke nods ) good now; What in the 5 elemental nations makes you think you can demand anything from your instructors or insult students that in the future might be your comrades " said Hiruzen. He decides to let Naruto choose what he wants to do here.
" Ok Naruto what do you want to do here ? " asked Hiruzen
" If it doesn't affect any of my grades then it's up to you and the instructor choice Hokage-sama " said Naruto with a bow .
" Well Mizuki , Iruka; Lets continue with the matches and when its over Sasuke will have his fight with Naruto here" said Hiruzen . He could see the Uchiha smirking so he decides to bring him own a peg.
" However it won't factor in the rookie of the year pick so instead it just be a show in skill do I make myself clear " said Hiruzen with a stern tone . Both Naruto and Sasuke nod their heads. Mizuki and Iruka continue with the exams when it came to Sakura Haruno turn Hiruzen sat closer from what he had seen so far Naruto, Sakura,and Ino have been training together and what Sayuki had said during a conversation with her they make a well balance team.
As Sakura is getting to go up she grabs her phone and gives it to Ino but not before she sees that she got a text from Kurama. The text pretty much said to use one style and to hold back. Sakura understood and texted back ok, Ino also got the text message. Sakura got up to the matt bowed to Iruka and got to her stance which made most of the people in their didn't recognize the stance . She had her body slightly to her side she had her arms close to her face with them spread at a small angle and she had her left feet in front of her while her right was to the back facing away from her plus she was moving her body slowly like a boxer.
" Sakura what style is that very new to me " asked Iruka
" Something I saw in some of the old books at library it's called Muay Thai sempai " answered Sakura
" Ok are you ready Sakura ( She nods ) ok and time starts now " said Mizuki
Sakura rushes to Iruka with her fist cocked back ready to strike as Iruka prepares to block the punch when all hove a sudden Sakura launches her knee to his chest . Iruka unable to fully block the blow is sent back a couple feet. He didn't have time to recover when he sees Sakura charging at him . As she comes her left arm gets ready to strike Iruka sees and waits for it to happen and sure enough she strikes with her left as he grabs her left he doesn't notice right arm coming until it's too late he dodges her fist only to get hit by the fore arm and hard. He quickly drops her arm he was holding to grab his lip and feel the blood coming from it. Sakura sees an opening so she runs at Iruka and jumps, she twist her body and lands on Iruka she wraps her legs around his neck. Iruka is trying to get her off hove him; He sees she is bringing her elbow and brings his arm to defend himself . As Sakura begins her attack the crowd watches in awe at her skills and strength . Hiruzen is looking with interest at the fight; He is impress with the way Sakura is handling herself. She will definitely be a tough kunoichi in the future. As the clock runs out Sakura jumps away and faces Iruka she bows to him .
" Very good Sakura you lasted the 5 minutes and scored bonus points for having landing solid punches to Iruka " said Mizuki
" Hai, thank you sempai " said Sakura
" Yes Sakura and I must say I'm very impress with your strength behind those strikes of yours . I know I'm going to have bruises in the morning " said Iruka
Sakura smiles and bows to both her sempai before joining Naruto and Ino. As she starts walking back Sasuke walks up to her with a smirk on his face. She doesn't like him one bit. Naruto doesn't like Sasuke approaching Sakura as he gets up Ino grabs his hand and smiles while shaking her head.
" Let Sakura take care of it Naruto-kun don't worry " said Ino
" I don't like this Ino-chan " said Naruto getting a little angry
" It's ok Naruto-kun just watch ok Sakura will make you laugh " said Ino
" Ok Ino-chan " said Naruto
" Well Sakura you have impressed me and now you have the honor of becoming the girlfriend of an elite Uchiha " said Sasuke with an arrogant smirk on his face .
" Oh… " said Sakura. She stares at him with a serious look before bursting out laughing she grabs her stomach and walks away. She stops laughing and looks back at Sasuke who became angry the moment she started laughing . She looks at him before bursting out laughing again and walking to Naruto who was laughing with Ino making Sasuke even more angry.
' Damn them it's fine I'll show them when I beat the dobe then I'll show them who is the best ' thought Sasuke
When it came to Sasuke turn all the fangirls began cheering and screaming his name . Hiruzen frown at the lack of seriousness the girls were taking to the test. His frown deepen when he could feel the arrogance coming off the Uchiha . Mizuki walks to the Hokage when he was signaled .
" Hokage-sama ?" question Mizuki
" As the Uchiha boy always been like this ? " asked Hiruzen a frown on his face matching his mood
" Yes sir he got worse after his clan got massacred by his brother. As far as we have seen his father was doing all the training and you know how his father was " answered Mizuki
" Indeed his father was always power hungry. I guess Sasuke is taking after his father which is not a good sign for anybody but the council are feeding his ego and with this group of so called fan girls are not helping either. As the match begins Hiruzen sees how the boy due to his Uchiha pride is getting mad at not scoring a hit on Iruka making his moves become sloppy. When the 5 minutes are up Sasuke is leaves the matt angry at not having scored a single hit on Iruka. As he walks from the matt he bumps into Naruto who was walking into the matt for his turn.
" Watch where you going dobe " sneered Sasuke. Naruto ignores him and continues walking towards the matt where Mizuki is waiting for him.
" Are you ready Naruto ? " asked Mizuki
" Yes sempai I'm ready " answered Naruto as he bows to Iruka then to Mizuki. Naruto gets into a standard academy stance confusing Hiruzen . Mizuki is also confused he knows Naruto know other taijutsu moves then it dawns on him it is probably a style that doesn't require a stance and Naruto is hiding with the academy style.
" Ok Mizuki you ready ( Mizuki nods ) ok Naruto are you ready ( Naruto nods ) all right then ready Hajime! ". said Iruka.
MIzuki gets into a defensive stance while Naruto stays in the academy stance which is confusing everyone except Sakura and Ino.
" So Naruto how come you are using the academy stance? I know you have a couple diffrent fighting styles. asked a curious Mizuki.
" Well sempai this style doesn't really have a stance per say but you know the style after all last time you saw hit there was a 1….2….3….count heh...heh...heh " said Naruto chuckling at end.
Hiruzen was confused as to what Naruto had said but when he sees Mizuki's eyes widen follow by Iruka's. He gets more interested in what Naruto has to offer. He is a little shocked when Mizuki switches from a defensive stance to the academy style like Naruto . He sees all kids are asking each other why their sensei is getting into an attack stance with Naruto but not with them . Hiruzen just sits back and decides to watch and see what is going to happen
" Ok then let's do this then " screamed Naruto before charging at Mizuki. The other students are wondering what is he doing when they see Mizuki charging as well .
" Bring it I'm going to even the score " said Mizuki charging at him as well
As they meet at the middle of the ring they both latch their hands on each other shoulder . They start spinning each other slowly before Mizuki puts Naruto in a headlock . Naruto grabs Mizuki arm pulls himself free from the headlock and puts Mizuki in a arm lock .
" Well that was pretty good sempai " said Naruto
" ( chuckles) you know we are just getting started " said Mizuki. before coming free from the arm lock. Naruto backs away and they both stare each other for a moment. Naruto sees an opening and rushes to Mizuki and then does a frontflip and put his legs around Mizuki's head . Mizuki tries to counter by grabbing Naruto's legs but Naruto was expecting that as soon as Mizuki grabs his legs Naruto tilted his body back fliping himself and Mizuki in the process. But Mizuki also expected that so with a little bit hove effort he manages to power bomb Naruto before he feels the slam from Naruto's flip. Iruka does some hand seals before slamming his hand on the matt a puff of smoke surrounds the ring. When the smokes clears the students, Hiruzen, and his Anbu guard were wide eyes at what they were seeing. The matt now had four post one in each corner and going around the post were three ropes attaching themselves to the post . As Mizuki and Naruto get up they look around to see the ring setup Naruto decides to make the first move he quickly grabs Mizuki arm and throws him to the ropes the force of the throw makes Mizuki bounce from the ropes and propels him back to Naruto who quickly bear hugs him lifts him off the ground and slams him back down. Naruto begins walking toward one of the post and and sits on the top before getting up to stand on it. MIzuki who had plenty of time to recover from the slam. He quickly gets up and jumps onsecond level ropes grabs Naruto's legs and brings him down after that He jumps and the post and dives hitting Naruto with his whole before he can pin Naruto the bell rings signaling that the 5 mins are up.
HIruzen for the most part is shocked at what he just witness . The fact that Iruka made those post and ropes or tha Mizuki was actually fighting ( not at full power of course ) made him wonder about Naruto. As Iruka made the ring disappear Mizuki walks up to Naruto
" That was good Naruto I almost had you that time " said Mizuki
" Actually Sempai you gave me a pretty good slam so we can call it a draw I know I'm going to feel that later " said Naruto bowing to both chunin and returning to where he was sitting the whole time Sasuke was glaring at him.
' That stupid loser how dare he I'am an a elite Uchiha I should've landed a hit on Iruka. Instead the loser Haruno girl and dobe manage to land hits unacceptable I'll show them I'll beat him in our match and I'll show you what it means to be an Uchiha ' thought Sasuke glaring at Naruto who is wishing Ino good luck since it's her turn after that it will be his and Naruto's match.
" Ok this is the last match Ino will you please step up" said Iruka
" Coming sempai " said Ino
" Ok Ino bow to Mizuki and get into your stance " said Iruka
After Ino bow she gets into her stance. She bring her fist close to her face and begins to hop lightly on her legs . Mizuki prepares himself knowing that Ino train with Naruto and Sakura .
" Ok Ino are you ready ( she nods) Mizuki are you ready ( he nods ) ok ready hajime " said Iruka
The moment Iruka's hand went down Ino rushed to Mizuki location and began a volley of punches. Mizuki unprepared for the speed was caught of guard and Ino manage to get some hits in. Mizuki is finally able to grab one hove her arm when she sends her leg to his ribs giving him a strong kick resulting in him droping her arm. As soon as her arm was released Ino crouch down and the jumped while performing an uppercut but Mizuki was able to backflip. This went on for the five minutes before Iruka called the match. Ino was sweating a bit although Sakura's style looked more tired some kickboxing had a lot of fast movement involve and she was still learning it.
" Good job Ino you manage to last all 5 minutes and bonus points for landing hits." said Iruka smirking at Mizuki who was holding his ribs.
" I don't know why you are smirking Iruka Sakura left you much worse " said Mizuki holding his left ribs .
" (cough) well yes good job anyways Ino please take your seat " said Iruka he turns to look at the rest of the class before speaking.
" Ok class I've decided to leave the fight between Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki till the end of the test so Mizuki and myself have time to let our bruises heal so we can intervene if necessary. does that seem fair to you two " Iruka said looking at Naruto and Sasuke . They both nod yes.
" If thats the case the recommend you finished the test outside then having to go inside and back outside again." said Hiruzen having everyone face him.
" That would be smart. " said Mizuki
" Ok class give us about ten minutes while we go get the grading materials for the final portion hove the test " said Iruka
" I hope Tsubaki can give me a massage when I get home " said Mizuki groaning as he walks up the stairs to their classroom.
….
" Ok class last final here we will test your Henge, Kawarimi, and Bunshin so single file please. " said Mizuki
" To pass you have to have a successful henge, a proper kawarimi and three stable bushin " said Iruka
The test went pretty smoothly with a couple students failing the test. Naruto manage to hide the fact that he couldn't do a regular bunshin by performing the Kage Bunshin no jutsu while using the handsigns for the standard bunshin though he decided mess with Sasuke by making six of them pissing the teme even more. When Ino finished her test the two instructors walked up to face the whole class. The hokage walked behind them and sat down watching his new ninjas prepare for their future.
" First I would like to congratulate all those who pass today you are now ninjas of Konohagakure no sato. " said Iruka
" For those of you that didn't pass do not feel sad no do feel ashamed take this chance to improve in the areas where you failed . You have 2 months to prepare for the next time . " said Iruka
" Can we just get on with it so I can fight the dobe " said Sasuke getting impatient
" Sasuke sit down and be quiet " said Iruka
" Very well Sasuke please would you and Naruto please step into the sparring matt " said Hiruzen getting confused looks from both Iruka and Mizuki
" Hokage-sama " said Mizuki
" It's ok you too you might as well let their fight commence as of matter of fact I think I will be referee for this match . " said Hiruzen shocking the class
" Hai Hokage-sama " they both said
As the third walks up to the matt Sasuke is already there and his fan girls are behind him cheering him on. He looks at Naruto who is stretching his legs while he is having a conversation with the girl with pink hair and the Yamanaka child he can see blushes forming on the two girls faces and can't help but smile.
" Well are you ready Naruto ? " asked Hiruzen interrupting their conversation.
" Hai Hokage-sama I'm ready . " answered Naruto
" Very well please get in the middle . Sasuke are you ready ?." asked Hiruzen to the Uchiha
" Hn" . was the only reply from the boy
" Ok the rules are simple no ninjutsu, when I say stop match is over and no aiming to kill is that clear you two " said Hiruzen
" Hai " said Naruto
" Hn " said Sasuke
" Uhhh well ok ready Hajime " said Hiruzen jumping back a bit. Sasuke gets into his family interceptor style . Naruto just shifts his body to his right leg while putting his hands in his pockets getting Sasuke mad. Sasuke decides to try to get Naruto mad enough where he will make mistakes and make a fool of himself.
" Are you ready to lose dobe ? " asked Sasuke
"..."
" Hmmph what's wrong you to scared to say anything " Sasuke said with a smirk
" ….. "
By this Sasuke is getting annoyed at the lack of response so he tries one more time.
" You know by the time I beat you both Haruno and Yamanaka will see how much of a loser you are and ditch for me " said Sasuke . He smirks when Naruto finally looks at him but the smirk turns into a frown when he sees Naruto smile at him.
" You know teme it's been said that during a fight when someone is trying to get their opponent mad its because they are unsure if they can win. So that was three attempts you must be really unsure of beating me ". Naruto said getting Ino and Sakura to giggle. Making Sasuke mad .
" So kit what is your strategy into beating the brat " said Kurama
' Well he was trying to get me mad so I'm thinking about beating him with two move just so I can shut him up for awhile ' answered Naruto
" Yea and judging by the way he his getting mad it probably won't be that hard to beat him " said Kurama
With that Naruto cut's the mental link with Kurama to see what is Sasuke planning .
Sasuke is furious not only did Naruto get worked up over the jabs but he accused him as a coward. Sasuke pride and ego blinded him from the fact that Naruto use the same tactic as him only it worked .
' I'll show dobe who is a coward ' . thought Sasuke glaring at Naruto
He quickly charges at Naruto. He gets even madder when he sees Naruto not moving but then he smirks thinking that Naruto is too scared to move . As he gets close he cocks his fist back ready to strike when he sees Naruto smile at him.
Naruto decided to wait until Sasuke was close enough before he made his move. He figured Sasuke will make the first move mostly do to his pride being hurt by his comment. The moment Sasuke is close enough. Naruto sprints at full speed towards Sasuke catching the Uchiha by surprise . Sasuke throws his punch to get Naruto but Naruto dodges it with ease before bringing his knee up and making contact with Sasuke stomach . AN: Sorry it took so long but chapter 8 is done tell what you think . If this chapter is crappy then my bad I'm dealing with some personal issues and blocking my mind . I think I got most of it out of my system so I should be good. I also started on my american dad story be on the look out for that. After this is team selection and missions. I'm debating right now if Haku and Zabuza should live from the wave mission.
