Chapter 1 Better Off Without Me

It's time for all of us to face our sins.

Ven's POV

I was in a new world with Aqua, Terra and Chirithy.

Aqua was wearing an aqua blue, sleeveless top with a pink X across her chest; black jeans; black, knee length boots with pink laces; a pink cloth tied around her waist like a skirt and black, elbow length, woolen, fingerless gloves with pink string tied around them.

Terra was wearing a black, long sleeved jacket that was zipped up; black, baggy pants; black combat boots and a white hooded cloak.

"So", I started. "How are we even going to find the sinful energy?"

"I don't know", Terra replied. "I guess looking around is the best we can do for now."

"Let's go", Aqua commanded.

Then...we all started walking, but I stopped when I noticed my reflection in a nearby river.

My hair was now short again. Courtesy of Strelitzia.

Seeing it made me think about when she cut it.

Flashback

I was sitting on the steps of Castle Tsumi, which my friends and I had made our new base of operations for the time being.

I turned my head when I head footsteps...and saw Strelitzia.

"Strelitzia", I said in shock. "What are you doing here?"

"Can you bend down for me", Strelitzia asked.

"What", I asked. "Okay."

With that I bended down.

"Why do you want me to bend down anyw..."

I got my answer...when Strelitzia started cutting my hair.

"What", I asked. "You're cutting my hair?"

"Yes", Strelitzia replied.

"But...", I started. "Why?"

"Because", Strelitzia started. "I liked you with your other hairstyle."

Upon hearing this, I looked up Strelitzia in shock.

Then...I grabbed onto her hands, stopping her.

"Ven", she started. "What are you doing?"

"What am I doing", I asked angrily. "What are you doing Strelitzia? You're brother will kill me if he sees you with me!"

"Don't worry", Strelitzia reassured. "I won't let him do that."

"Why", I asked angrily. "Why are you protecting me Strelitzia?!"

"Because I love you Ven!"

Hearing this made me freeze up.

"Wh...what", I asked.

"I love you Ven", Strelitzia repeated.

"But...", I started. "I...I killed you Strelitzia!"

"No you didn't", Strelitzia stated. "It was darkness!"

"Even so", I said as tears started falling from my eyes. "I just stood there and let it happen."

After I said this...I stood up.

"You're better off without me Strelitzia."

End of Flashback

I was brought out of my flashback, when I heard a crashing sound!

"What was that", Terra asked.

"Only one way to find out", Aqua replied. "Come on! Let's go see what it was!"

Ten Minutes Later

We went to where we heard the crashing sound, and when we got there...I saw some familiar faces.

I saw...Rey and BB-8!

"Rey", I said happily as I ran up to said person. "BB-8!"

"Ventus", Rey said happily as she ran up to me. "What are you doing here? Where's everybody else?"

"It's a long story", I replied before remembering something. "Oh. Rey, this is Aqua and Terra."

"It's an honor to meet you two", Rey greeted.

"Same here", Terra replied.

"So", I started. "How's things going with the Resistance?"

"Follow me", Rey instructed. "I'll take you to them."
