Chapter 3 Return of the Sith

Ven's POV

Ten Minutes Later

The Resistance was all gathered to hear the information Poe and Finn got back from their mission.

"We've decoded the intel from the First Order spy", Poe started. "And it confirms the worst. Somehow...Palpatine's returned."

After Poe said this...everybody gasped in shock and fear.

"Who's Palpatine", Terra asked.

"He was the founder of the empire", General Organa revealed. "What the First Order based themselves on."

"Wait", Rose (who had recovered from her injuries) started. "Do we believe this?"

"It cannot be", somebody started. "The emperor is dead!"

"Trust me when I say that bad guys have a tendency of coming back from the dead", I said.

"Dark silence", somebody said. "Cloning. Secrets only the Sith knew."

"He's been planning his revenge", Poe revealed. "His followers have been building something for years. The largest fleet the galaxy has ever known. He calls it the Final Order. In sixteen hours, attacks on all free worlds begin."

"Then we have to start working fast", I stated.

"We", Aqua and Terra asked.

"The emperor and his fleet have been hiding in the unknown regions", Poe revealed. "On a world called Exegol."

"Exegol does not appear on any star chart", C-3PO revealed. "But legend describes it as a hidden world of the Sith."

"There were always whispers of his hunger to cheat death", somebody revealed.

"So", Poe started. "Palpatine's been out there all the time. Pulling the strings."

"Always", General Organa revealed. "In the shadows. From the very beginning."

"This is hitting close to home", I pointed out.

"If we want to stop him, we must find him", Maz revealed. "Must find Exegol."

"General", Rey started. "Can I speak to you?"

With that...Rey left and we followed her.

"I know how to get to Exegol", she revealed.

"Tell me", Leia commanded.

"Luke searched for it", Rey revealed. "For a long time. He nearly found it."

With that Rey started looking through the book she took from Luke.

"There are ciphers here I can't read", she revealed. "But he said to get there, you need one of these. A Sith Wayfinder."

"Well", I started. "Wayfinders have always been our thing."

"They're compasses that lead the way to Exegol", Rey revealed. "To stop what we both know is coming. I need to finish what Luke started. Find Exegol. Find the emperor."

"No", Leia said sternly.

"I don't want to go without your blessing", Rey stated. "But I will."

One Hour Later

While Rey was getting ready to leave, I was talking with Aqua and Terra.

"Ven", the former started. "I understand that you want to help, but we need to look for the sinful energy."

"We can look for it while we look for the Sith Wayfinder", I pointed out. "Besides, what if the emperor ends up destroying the planet the sinful energy is on?"

Ten Minutes Later

We were getting ready to leave, and as we were doing so...I heard General Organa say this to Rey.

"Never be afraid of who you are."
