A/N: What's that? Afraid to write a bloody fight scene? Ohhhhh, you really shouldn't poke that dragon.
*EDIT*
Pesky flames. Bah!
Don't worry, I'm still working on my RWBY stuff. This story simply took precedence. Speaking of which! Well, would you look at that?! Three updates less than twenty-four hours apart. I'm on a roll here; definitely gonna suffer a mental crash from this workload later, but until then, lets see how far I can push this old body of mine.
FORWARD!
Remember, the Mordred here, is from a different reality...one that wasn't so nice to her. She lost everything in her timeline, including HER Naruto. She's gone insane, bathed in the corrupted mud of a tainted grail and become an Alter at that. Thankfully, Naruto's in his element here as well; considering he's a bona fide Sage in this story. Not to mention he's a freaking Rider, which makes him dangerous in his own right.
I could say more, but I've kept you long enough, I think. Now cometh the brawl!
As ever, I own no references, themes, or memes! Not a one!
"What, are you shooting for a harem ending or something?!"
"..."
"Rider, no. Don't you dare."
"I regret nothing!"

A Most Unlikely Rampage (Interlude)
Mordred slammed into Naruto like a hurricane.
All her fear, all her fury, all her madness made manifest in a single instant.
There was no rhyme or reason to her strategy; only raw, mindless seething aggression.
Clarent's warped blade carved a crimson path before her, its tainted edge hungering for one thing and one thing along. Vengeance. There was nothing else. Any other desires were burned away in her madness. She would slay this impostor, this fake, this fraud and then...well. The rest didn't matter, so long as he died. Her body could break for all she cared. No, it was breaking even now. Don't care. Keep moving. Attack, attack, attack. You just have to keep attacking, and you'll cut him down sooner or later.
Such was the rationale of a Berserker. For there is a saying in this world; the best offense is a good defense.
Mordred subscribed to a more aggressive ideology. Offense was the best offense. She didn't care how many would she took, how badly she was beaten, or even if she died. She just had to kill him. Looking at him hurt. Just seeing his face drove her into a fevered rage all over again. Because the bastard wouldn't fight back! He just kept retreating! Like a coward!
"FIGHT ME!" she howled. "Stand your ground and die like a man!"
"No, thank you!" Naruto ducked as her crimson blade swept over his head; a rush of crimson light burst from its tip to bifurcate a nearby docking crane. It crumpled with a tortured squeal of metal and began to list toward the two of them before falling entirely. Blue eyes narrowed in its direction, calculated its trajectory. He must have realized it would fall on his Master, because finally, finally he swung his staff toward
The crane didn't melt; it simply ceased to be; shattered into thousands of tiny metal shards that rained down harmlessly on the docks.
"You're wide open!"
Mordred seized the moment for what it was and struck in what that brief window of opportunity. Her blade bit deep into his shoulder, wedging itself against muscle and gone. Rider accepted it with a stoic grunt, twirled his staff and rammed its barbed tip into then through her torso. What should have been a mortal wound didn't even slow her. Instead she skewered herself on his weapon to get at him. Clawed hands tore at his face, missed, and tore an ear away instead. Her face butted against in a snarl.
"If you won't fight me proper," she hissed. "Then I'll kill your master!"
That got a better reaction out of him. "No. You won't."
"Yes, I freaking will-OW!"
Her words turned to gibberish as Naruto let go of his staff, grabbed her by the head, and smashed his skull against hers with all the force of a pile-driver. Mordred's head rang like a bell as her world burned white. Clarent was left wedged against his shoulder, forgotten as she reeled away. Damnit, no! Not like this! Rider chased her and dragged her face into a knee again, and in a moment of instinct she tore her bloody blade out of him and lashed clumsily at his throat in a blind swipe.
She almost got him.
But no, sword traced a thin red line against his cheek as Naruto jerked back to avoid skewering himself. He grabbed her blade by its edge and reeled her in, uncaring of the red trench it left on his palm. It was a move she had seen many times before, yet the sudden act, the familiarity of it, nearly paralyzed her. Something in Berserker's blood roared in delight as his fist crashed into her face and knocked a tooth loose. It felt like coming home.
Anger rushed back to choke it. "That's more like it! Fight me! Kill me!"
"Why would I wanna do that?!"
But rather than give into the madness and press his advantage like a true warrior, Naruto let go of her sword and retreated yet again. Mordred gave chase with a yowl. It was his face. That damn face. She didn't want to see it. She wanted to see it. She couldn't see it. She needed to see it. There were minute differences to be sure, but her Madness told her otherwise. It was him. It had to be him. And so he had to die. Different Servant, different class, and yet still he wore that same smile, same eyes, same quizzical expression as he tried to piece together what was plaguing her. Even now! He wanted to help her! The gall of this faker!
"Stop looking at me like that! I don't want your pity!"
Twin fists slammed into her stomach, knocking the breath from her. She gasped and hacked his right arm off for that.
He snatched it out of the air and beat her over the head with it, even as another grew in its place. Just like him. For reasons she couldn't understand, Mordred's heart ached as she fought him now, screaming in despair with every blow. No, it wasn't that she couldn't understand, rather, she didn't want to. She knew the reason for this pain.
Finally the blond braved his staff in both hands and took her blade head on. Mordred was so unprepared for it that she didn't think to stop. Their weapons collided with a sonorous clang and a vicious jolt shot up her arms as she crossed weapons with him. He stepped in Bot his eyes pulsed -damnit, he'd grown the other back! Yuck!- shimmering a holy shade of gold. Mordred had all of a moment to feel the sudden surge of energy.
In response, her sword spat scarlet sparks in her grasp. "CLARENT...!
Tainted golden orbs met those of gentle honey.
"Don't you dare!" his fist shot out lightning quick and swatted her on the nose. Little more than a love tap, but it shattered her concentration all the same. "Could you not?" For the first time since she'd attacked him, she realized he'd stopped smiling. "I really don't want to pull my Noble Phantasm out here. You might die."
Her right eye twitched, and she dove at him. "That's what I want!"
Rider tossed his head from side to side. "You want me to kill you. You're joking."
Tch. Too much talking. This could only end one way. Her head on a pike, or his. She wouldn't allow for anything less. She couldn't. The alternative was unacceptable.
"JUST! FIGHT! ME!"
To his credit, this time Naruto -Fake! Dirty Faker!- didn't deny her demand. His ringed staff swung down and caught her right eye, but she barreled on, ignoring the loss to obliterate his nose. Both healed by the time they drew breath again. Both snarled. Both raged back and forth like monsters of yore; tearing grievous wounds in one another as they painted the very docks painted red with their blood. None dared interfere for fear of being dragged into the storm. Just as well. They would've been killed for their interference. Lancer, Assassin, it didn't matter.
Her fight was here and Mordred gloried in it.
Even without her Noble Phantasm she relished in the chance to tear him limb from limb. Bastard gave as good as he got. He fought wildly, seldom making use of anything other than his staff to fight her and always healing thrice as face. For someone who wasn't her Zombie, he sure as hell fought like one. Almost a shame he had to die tonight-
"Sage Art." his words were her only warning. "Dark Swamp."
"Aw, what the hell?!"
Beneath Berserker's very boots, the ground turned to muck. She spared it a scowl and thought nothing of it. More fool she. Sucking and cloying, it grasped at her legs when she tried to run, dragging her down to one knee in spite of her glee. When she tried to rise, Rider's staff swooped in and brained her over the head in spectacular fashion, forcing her to catch herself on one hand. The swamp was all too eager to suck that limb in too, and when her lone hand arced up to blast it away, his staff swatted that one down to entrap it as well.
"Good job, Rider!" She heard the blond's Master call from where he was hiding with that damn frog of his. "Quick! Finish her off before she recovers!"
That ringed staff came up under Mordred's chin, lifting her head to meet his. Once more, golden eyes glowered against blue.
So this was it, then. Damnit. Mordred turned her head and spat. She'd wanted more than this.
"No fair." she snarled. "You cheated! How come you can move and I can't?!"
"This is my technique." her soon-to-be-killer. hummed. "Of course I can move. As for your little deathwish," his wrist twisted, forcing her chin higher still. "I don't know who you've mistaken me for, but whoever he is, I'm sure he wouldn't want you to act like this. Though I can understand why you'd be angry, given I apparently look like him."
"What do you know?!"
Mordred snarled. Stupid Berserker. Of course he'd say that. No. Wait. This wasn't Berserker. This was Rider. She hated him. Didn't she? She loved him. The two emotions blended together until she couldn't recognize them anymore. She wanted to kill him. She wanted to wrestle him down to the ground and make love to him. Her mind was a jumbled mess, and her madness reigned supreme once more.
Rider shrugged. "More than you think, less than you'd expect."
He took his staff from her chin and dispelled the swamp, allowing her to topple backward. Mordred thrashed her way to her feet, expecting a killing blow at any moment. It never came. Her adversary leaned back against the ruined shell of a shipping content and sighed softly. Gods, he was a mess. Some of those wounds weren't healing. She wasn't in much better shape. She'd burned through a vicious chunk of her master's mana. None of that mattered to her right now.
"You're...sparing me?" poisoned eyes blinked, wide with disbelief. "But why?! I tried to kill you!"
"Call it instinct." He didn't move. "You can hit me if you want to. I won't dodge this time."
She did. He only turned the other cheek. And the other. Again and again. His head snapped to the side, causing him to stumble, but he righted himself soon enough. Mordred reared back to hit him again, and found the faintest smile lurking on his face. This...this didn't feel right. It wasn't his fault. Yet she couldn't stop herself.
Her fists descended again.
"I hate you!" she cried between blows! "You have his face! You're just like him! But you're not him!" She struck him again and he grunted as she raged. "It was all his fault! Where was he?! WHERE DID YOU GO?!" He only moved when she drew her sword; and even then only to catch her wrist. Then the other when she lashed out. That was all it took to break her. "You left when I needed you most...I died because of you...you said you would be there and you weren't!"
"Pretty sure that was another me...
"Shut up! Don't care!" she grabbed at his bloody coat, accidentally shredding it with her hands. "You promised! You swore! You said we'd be together! YOU LIED!" She risked a step forward and her legs buckled, betraying her at last. She all but collapsed against him, madness draining from her eyes. "Liar...liar...
"Well," Naruto awkwardly patted her back, "If this other guy screwed up that badly, I'm guessing you want me to take responsibility?"
She hiccuped softly as he stroked her back. "Its not fair...
Inwardly, her mind began to ? Him? Did she want such a thing? She wasn't sure. She'd been content with the idea of killing him. Her madness bridled at such a thought; it took everything she had to shunt it aside, even for a moment. For a sliver of a second her thoughts cleared up. The "Naruto" she knew was undoubtedly gone, never to return. She was the only survivor of that awful war, of that horrible bad end. Her experiences had made her into the monster she was now. And yet...
"Alright." Rider beamed back at her, having made a decision while she dithered. "Then I'll marry you. I'm already aiming for the harem route anyway...and if my other self made you cry...
He patted her head.
...well, I should make up for that, right?"
Mordred's jaw clicked open with an audible pop. She pushed it shut. It popped open again. Somewhere in the back ground, she could've sworn she heard Rider's master start swearing up a storm. Oddly enough, it almost sounded like Lancer was doing the same. Was she missing something there? No, nevermind that! M-M-Marriage?! Her heart wasn't ready! She hadn't prepared herself for such a thing! What the hell was he thinking, just spouting off words like that!
Berserker's brain rebooted. A small, tiny squeak parted her lips just so. "W-What?"
Naruto scratched his cheek. "Well, if you don't want to...
She latched onto his hand. "I didn't say no!"
A/N: Berserk!Mordred needs all the hugs... MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS!
Once again, Insane!Mordred hails from a bad end in A Most Unlikely Berserker. The fact that she's altered oughta give that away. She ended up being the main focus of this chapter. But would you look at that? She got a pseudo-happy end for herself after all. Of course, we're far from done here...

"Who wants a go?!"
Waver sputtered. "You can't just marry every female Servant with issues!"
"Can. Am. Did." Naruto grinned. "Probably gonna do it again."
"You killed her." he raised a bloody hand. "Why? She didn't do anything to you. I...you...you just cut her down...I was going to help her...
Naruto exhaled slowly. Very slowly. Behind him, Waver and Mordred backed away.
Just as well, too. Because that's when the screaming started.
Naruto threw his head back and his body burned gold.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"
