Chapter 5 Desert Chase

Ven's POV

Ten Minutes Later

We were currently looking for some mode of transportation, when we spotted three speeders.

"I'll drive", I said excitedly before I jumped onto one of them.

"Do you even know how to drive this thing", Terra asked.

"No", I replied before smirking at Terra. "Do you?"

This resulted in Terra groaning in annoyance.

"Fine", he said in defeat. "But if we crash, I'm blaming you."

Ten Minutes Later

We were currently riding on the speeder, which was making me cheer in excitement.

"This is awesome", I said happily.

"It's about to get less awesome", Aqua revealed. "Turn around."

I did as told, and saw...two Stormtroopers following us on another speeder!

"They always ruin the fun stuff", I pointed out grumpily.

And as soon as I did, one of the Stormtroopers...started flying through the air!

"They can fly now", Chirithy asked in shock.

"We're they not able to before", Terra asked.

"Not that I know of", I replied. "What do we do?"

"You keep driving", Aqua replied. "Terra and I will take care of this!"

And so, I drove the speeder as Aqua and Terra shot magic at the Stormtroopers, eventually managing to take both of them down!

"We did it", I said happily.

Then...we met us with the rest of the group, and when we did...all of our speeders were destroyed!

We landed on top on some black dirt like stuff.

"Or not", I pointed out in defeat.

And if things weren't bad enough as they were...we started sinking into the black dirt stuff!

"What in the worlds is this stuff", Aqua asked.

"Sinking fields", Rey replied. "Try to grab something!"

"What is there to grab", I asked angrily.

Then...I watched in horror as Aqua and Terra began to sink!

"Aqua", I yelled out. "Terra! No!"

And that's the last thing I managed to choke out before I was swallowed up.

...

"Master Ava. It's me, Ventus. Master Ava! Isn't this the right place?"

"Who's there?"

"They have to be here. This is the only place we haven't looked yet."

"Maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me?"

"Hello! Is anyone there? Hello!"

"I guess I was wrong."

"Well, It was worth a shot. I'll head back to Fountain Square."

"Okay. I'll keep searching."

...

I opened my eyes, and saw that Aqua, Chirithy and I were lying on top of Terra.

"You guys good", he asked.

"We're good", Aqua replied before we both got off of Terra. "You good?"

"I'm good", Terra replied before standing up.

"Thanks for being a human pillow", I thanked.

"Well", Terra started. "I did promise Master Eraqus I would look after you guys."

This made me smile before looking over Terra's shoulder and seeing our friends.

"Everybody good", I asked.

"We're all good", Rey replied.

I then looked around...and saw that we were in some kind of tunnel.

"What is this place", I asked.

"I have no idea", Rey replied. "But that doesn't matter right now. We have to hurry."
