Chapter 6 Dagger
Ven's POV
Five Minutes Later
We were currently walking through the tunnels.
"I don't wanna know what made these tunnels", Poe revealed.
"Judging by the circumstance of the tunnel walls...", C-3PO started.
"I said I do not wanna know", Poe reminded C-3PO. "Not."
After Poe said this, we all stopped...when we saw an abandoned vehicle.
"What's that", Poe asked.
"Is that a speeder", Finn asked.
"An old one", Rey pointed out.
"Perhaps we will find the driver", C-3PO suggested.
BB-8 then said something.
"Yep BB-8", Poe said. "I think dead too."
"Oh my", C-3PO said suddenly. "A hex charm."
"A what", Poe asked.
"A common emblem of Sith loyalists", C-3PO revealed.
"Sith", Rey asked in shock.
"This was Ochi's", Finn asked.
"Luke sensed it", Rey revealed. "Ochi never left this place."
"And he ended up down here", Finn revealed.
"He was heading for his ship", Poe said in realization. "Same thing that happened to us, happened to him."
"So", Finn started. "How did Ochi get out?"
"He didn't", Rey replied grimly when she spotted something..
"No", Finn said grimly when he saw the same thing. "He didn't."
"Bones", Poe said grimly. "I don't like bones."
"Bones", C-3PO asked. "Never a good sign."
"Nope", Aqua agreed.
Then...BB-8 said something to Rey.
"Yeah", she said. "I see it."
With that...Rey picked up something.
"A dagger", I asked in confusion.
"Horrible things...have happened with this", Rey revealed.
"Do good things ever happen with daggers", Terra asked.
"There's writing on it", Poe pointed out.
"Perhaps I can translate it", C-3PO suggested before looking at the dagger. "Oh. The location of the wayfinder, has been inscribed on this dagger. It's the clue that Master Luke was looking for."
"And", Poe asked.
"Where's the wayfinder", Finn asked.
"I'm afraid I cannot tell you", C-3PO replied.
"Oh you have got to be kidding me", Aqua said in annoyance.
"20.3 fazillion languages, and you can't read that", Poe asked angrily.
"I don't think fazillion is a real number", I pointed out.
"Oh, I have read it sir", C-3PO revealed. "I know exactly where the wayfinder is. Unfortunately, it is written in the runic language of the Sith."
"So what", Rey asked in confusion.
"My programming forbids me from translating it", C-3PO replied.
"So you're telling me the one time we need you to talk, you can't", Poe asked angrily.
"Irony sir", C-3PO replied. "I am mechanically incapable of speaking translations from Sith. I believe the rule was passed by Senate of the Old Republic..."
Before C-3PO could finish...and giant worm popped up behind him!
"Serpent", he yelled in fear. "Serpent! Serpent!"
With that, we all went back in fear, expect Rey.
Instead...she walked right up to the serpent and kneeled down beside it.
She did something, and then...it left.
"I just transferred a bit of life", she revealed. "Force energy from me to him."
