Chapter 9 Make More Memories

Ven's POV

Ten Minutes Later

We all watched as C-3PO was having his memory unblocked.

"I haven't the faintest idea why I agreed to this", he revealed. "I must be malfunctioning. I must be malfunctioning."

"Babu Frik", Rey asked the alien that was working on C-3PO's memories. "Can you help us with this?"

Baby Frik said something in alien.

"Zorri", Rey started to said person. "Is this going to work?"

With that Zorri and Babu Frik talked to each other in alien.

"He says he's found something in your droid's forbidden memory bank", the former revealed. "Words, translated from the Sith?"

"That's it", Rey revealed.

"Yeah", Finn said. "That's what we need."

"Who are you hanging out with that speaks Sith", Zorri asked.

"Can you...", Poe started. "Babu, can you make him translate it?"

With that Babu said something in alien.

"Yes", Zorri replied. "But it will cause a complete...

"A complete memory wipe."

"Wait, wait, wait", Rey started. "We make him translate it...he won't remember...anything?"

"Droid", Babu started. "Memory go blank."

"Oh", C-3PO said in shock.

"Blank blank", Babu said.

"We get it", I pointed out angrily.

"There must be some other way", C-3PO stated.

"Doesn't R2 back up your memory", Finn asked.

"Oh please", C-3PO started. "R2's storage units are famously unreliable."

"You know the odds better than any of us", Rey said to C-3PO. "Do we have a choice?"

With that, C-3PO looked at us for a moment.

"If the mission fails...it was all for nothing", he said repeating what Poe said earlier. "All we've done, all this time."

After C-3PO said this, he began staring at us.

"What are you doing there C-3PO", Poe asked.

"Taking one last look sir", C-3PO replied. "At my friends."

Hearing this made me put my hand on C-3PO's shoulder.

"It's okay 3PO", I stated. "Your memories won't truly be gone, they'll just be deep within your heart."

"That's a very moving sentiment Master Ventus", C-3PO said. "However, I'm not sure if such things reply to a droid."

"They will", I stated. "And if you can't remember your old memories afterwards..."

"Those are the only memories I have."

"Then make more."

"Then make more."

One Hour Later

We were still waiting for C-3PO's memories to be unlocked, when Poe and Zorii came running in.

"There's an incoming destroyer", she revealed.

"We gotta go now", Poe revealed. "Did we get it Babu?"

"Droid is ready", Babu revealed.

Then...C-3PO shot up with red eyes!

"The Emperor's wayfinder is in the Imperial vault", he said. "At Delta 3-6, Transient 9-3-6, Bearing 3-2... on a moon in the Endor system. From the southern shore. Only this blade tells. Only this blade tells."

After C-3PO said this, he shut down.

"The Endor system", Finn said in shock. "Where the last war ended?"
