Chapter Two:

The Golden Trio had spent about seven hours in the library and to no real result. They had researched the different pantheons of the current world and the past but found no reference to the Goa'uld or the strange Goddess. Hermione had become increasingly frustrated and excited as they kept going on while Ron was groaning and catching up on homework.

Giving up on their search the trio decided to head back to the common room. Sleep would not come easy for one of their group however as he was dragged into another weird vision. Harry once again felt the feeling of watching through someone else's eyes but this time he was looking through the eyes of a Woman. After a few minutes of looking around the strange village made of wooden huts with only a couple of stone buildings, he was able to deduce he was currently watching through the body of the Mother from his last vision.

There were a large number of humans in poor clothes that seemed to be repaired a large number of times and some were even barely held together. Weird looking silver armoured beings carrying weird staff also patrolled around this village, the humans around them displaying what he thought to be reverence to them.

Harry was interrupted from unwillingly surveying his soundings when he heard a voice from behind him. The woman Harry was watching through spun around and immediately fell to her knees at the presence of a tall woman in purple and black armour, similar to that of the weird silver armoured ones that flanked her which Harry learnt were known as Jaffa. The woman did not give Harry much time to take in the sight as she immediately bowed her head as well.

"So you display the correct deference to your god unlike your husband." The apparent Goddess almost snarled at the woman.

"Yes my Lady, my former husband was a traitor who did not know his place." Said the Woman.

"Remember the price of his betrayal that you have yet to pay mortal." The Goddess responded.

Unable to look at the face of the person who he was looking through, Harry was helpless to gain an understanding of the situation, but he imagined that she was cowering in fear.

"Yes my Lady my daughter shall be sent to the holy temple before the rise of the shattered moon." The woman grovelled to the unknown entity.

"Good. Now you just need to pay your own price."

Before Harry could understand what she meant by that, he heard a soft hum before bolting upright in his own body while he almost spasmed in immense pain.

He had awoken in his dormitory in Hogwarts and the sun was just about flickering through the window. Doing a quick Tempus Harry realised it was about an hour before everyone would wake. Quickly getting dressed Harry decided to head down to the Library and do some quick research before breakfast. Maybe he would have more luck if he asked Madam Pince for some help.

Reaching the Library he saw a couple of Ravenclaws who decided to get down early. And Madam Pince looked like she had just woken up putting away some books. Deciding to risk it Harry approached her.

"Hey Madam Pince, do you know anything about something known as the Goa'uld."

Madam Pince turned around to face Harry.

"The only material we have on that subject is in the restricted section. You will need to speak to Professor Dumbledore as it does not relate to any of your other subjects in order to have access to it."

Harry felt hope at the fact there was a book on the subject and he wasn't going mad, but at the same time disappointed that he would not be able to view the subject now. He immediately resolved to speak to professor Dumbledore after just one more question.

"Thank you Madam Pince, but how do you know of it?" asked Harry.

"I know of it as I personally have to read every book in this library, I can assure you spells are very helpful in that regard, but the more important question is why in Merlin's name you want to know about an obscure piece of curse breaking I do not know." she asked before leaving behind a bookshelf.

Harry mentally check-marked curse-breaking as another topic to look into before turning towards the door and heading towards the Headmasters office.

Reaching Dumbledore's office after venturing through the confusing corridors of Hogwarts, Harry immediately knocked on the door which swiftly opened after a few seconds of delay.

"Ah Harry my Boy, what can I do for you today?" Kindly asked Dumbledore.

"Sir, I would like permission to enter the restriction section to retrieve a book."

Dumbledore's eyes continued to offend Harry's vision with full blast twinkles.

"And what book do you need my boy?" He asked.

"I need the book on the Goa'uld" Harry replied.

"Oh" Was the eloquent answer.

A/N Sorry about the short chapter.
