Chapter 10 Who You Are
Ven's POV
"The Endor system", Finn said. "Where the last war ended?"
Before anything else could happen...the ground began to shake!
"What's going on", Terra asked.
"Ren's destroyer", Rey replied in realization.
"He's here", Finn asked in shock.
Before Rey could answer, she seemed to sense something.
"Chewie", she said.
"What about him", Finn asked.
"He's on Ren's ship", Rey revealed. "He's alive."
"He is", I asked happily.
"What", Finn asked in shock. "How?"
"He's alive", Rey said happily. "He must've been on a different transport."
"We gotta go get him."
One Hour Later
We were now on the ship and were looking for Chewie.
"The dagger is on this ship", Rey revealed. "We need it."
"Why", Poe asked
"A feeling", Rey replied. "I'll meet you back at the hanger."
"I'll go with you."
Five Minutes Later
Rey and I walked into a room.
"There", I said when I spotted the dagger.
Rey picked it up, and then...she froze.
"Rey", I started in concern. "Are you okay?"
"No", Rey breathed out, but I don't think it was to me.
Then, she turned around.
I did too...and I saw...Kylo Ren.
For some reason, I could see him too.
"Wherever you are", he started. "You are hard to find."
"You're hard to get rid of", Rey said.
"Who are you", Ren asked me.
"The name's Ven", I replied. "I'm Rey's friend."
"You're like Rey", Ren stated. "You have a bond to someone like me. That must be why we can see each other."
After Ren said this, he looked back at Rey.
"I pushed you in the desert", he started. "Because I needed to see it. I needed you to see it. Who you are. I know the rest of your story Rey."
This resulted in Rey activating her lightsaber.
"You're lying", she stated.
"I never lied to you", Kylo Ren stated. "Your parents were no one. They chose to be. To keep you safe."
"Don't", Rey commanded angrily.
"You remember more than you say", Kylo Ren stated. "I've been in your head."
"I don't want this", Rey yelled.
"Search your memories", Kylo Ren commanded.
"No", Rey yelled.
Then...her and Kylo Ren started fighting.
"Remember them", the latter commanded. "See them."
Rey seemed to do just that.
"They sold you to protect you", Kylo Ren revealed.
"Stop talking", Rey commanded.
"Rey", Kylo Ren started. "I know what happened to them. Tell me where you are. You don't know the whole story. It was Palpatine who had your parents taken. He was looking for you, but they wouldn't say where you were. So...he gave the order."
I knew what this meant, and Rey did too.
"No", she yelled.
Then...she fought Kylo Ren...resulting in one of his items falling to the ground.
"So that's where you are", he said. "You know why the emperor's always wanted you dead?"
"No", Rey replied.
"I'll come tell you", Ren said.
Then...he was gone.
"Hey", I said as I put my hand on Rey's shoulders. "Are you okay?"
"I'm sorry", Rey said.
"It's fine", I stated. "I know what's it like. To just want to forget the past."
