Chapter 11 What You Need to Do
Ven's POV
Ten Minutes Later
Rey and I were in the hanger...when Kylo Ren showed up.
I stood next to Rey as she stared at him.
"Why did the emperor come for me", she asked. "Why did he want to kill a child?"
"Because he saw what you would become", Kylo Ren revealed. "You don't just have power. You have his power. You're his granddaughter. You are a Palpatine."
Hearing this, I could only look at Rey in shock.
She was doing the same to Kylo Ren.
"My mother was the daughter of Vader", he started. "Your father was the son of the emperor. What Palpatine doesn't know is that we're a dyad in the Force, Rey. Two that are one. We'll kill him together and take the throne."
After Kylo Ren said this, he took off his mask.
"You know what you need to do", he stated. "You know."
After Kylo Ren said this...he offered his hand to Rey.
Before she could do anything, I took her hand and looked at her.
"Don't do this", I pleaded.
"Stay out of this boy", Kylo Ren commanded.
This made me angry. Very angry.
I looked at Kylo Ren. Then...I summoned my Keyblade.
"I hate people like you", I revealed.
"Like what", Kylo Ren asked.
"People who try to tell other people what to do", I replied. "For years, people have been doing that to me, and the people I love have suffered because of it."
"I see", Kylo Ren started before realizing something. "You have darkness inside of you. I can sense it."
"Shut it", I yelled angrily.
"You know what have to do too", Kylo Ren stated.
"No", I yelled.
Then...something happened.
A blast of dark energy came from me...and knocked everybody but Rey and Kylo Ren down.
I looked around in shock before realizing what I just did.
"No", I breathed out.
Then...I heard something and turned around.
It was...the Millennium Falcon!
Finn and Terra were standing on the ramp!
"Rey", the former yelled. "Come on!"
"We got Chewie", Terra yelled. "Let's go!"
With that, I grabbed onto Rey's hand and together we jumped towards the Falcon.
Finn and Terra grabbed us and pulled us into the ship.
"Are you guys okay", Terra asked in concern.
"We're fine", I replied. "Where's Chewie? Is he okay?"
As soon as I said this...Chewie walked up to us!
"Chewie", Rey and I yelled before hugging said person.
"Thank goodness you're okay", I said.
"I'm so sorry Chewie", Rey apologized. "I didn't mean to."
Rey saying that reminded me about what had just happened.
I slightly pushed Chewie back before walking away.
I heard people calling my name, but I didn't answer.
I found a quiet spot, sat down, and hugged me knees to my chest.
Chirithy jumped onto my knees, and I hugged her tightly.
"Ven", Aqua started before kneeling down besides me. "What happened?"
"I...", I started. "When we were on the ship, I lost control of the darkness inside of me."
This caused Aqua and Terra to look at me in shock.
"Nobody got hurt", I revealed. "But still. I lost control."
After I said this, Aqua and Terra looked at me sadly.
Then...they hugged me.
"I'm scared."
