Chapter 14 Our Friends Are Our Power

Ven's POV

One Hour Later

Aqua and Terra filled me in on the current situation.

Rey was missing.

Kijimi had been destroyed.

And Leia...Leia was gone.

According to Maz, she had used the last of her strength to reach out to her son. I really hope that it wouldn't be for nothing.

Currently, the Resistance were gathered and were talking about what had all happened.

"Kijimi", Poe asked in dismay. "How?"

"A blast from a Star Destroyer", somebody replied. "A ship from the new Sith fleet. Out of the Unknowns."

"The emperor sent a ship from Exegol", somebody else pointed out. "Does that mean every ship in the fleet..."

"Has planet killing weapons", Poe finished in realization. "Of course they do. All of them. That's how he finishes it."

"Oh no", Aqua said in dismay.

"Guys", Rose said as she came up to us. "You have to listen to this. It's on every frequency."

With that we all listened to faint radio chatter.

"The Resistance is dead", somebody said repeating that they heard. "The Sith flame will burn. All worlds, surrender or die. The Final Order begins."

"This is not good", Terra pointed out.

"You can say that again", I agreed.

"Leia made you acting general", Rose said to Poe. "What now?"

Poe didn't have an answer. I don't blame him.

Ten Minutes Later

We all sat with Poe by Leia's body.

"I've got to tell you", he started to her. "I don't really know...how to do this. What you did...I'm not ready."

"Neither were we", I heard somebody say.

Then, I turned around, and saw Lando.

"Lando", I said in shock. "You came."

Lando just smiled at me before looking back at Poe.

"Han, Luke, Leia, me", he started. "Who's ever ready?"

"How'd you do it", Poe asked. "Defeat an empire with almost nothing?"

"We had each other", Lando replied. "That's how we won."

This made me think of my friends.

"Our friends...are our power", I stated.

And these words were soon proven to be true.

A droid we had found on Ochi's ship had ton of information on Exegol, including information that could help us take down the Sith fleet.

R2-D2 was able to restore C-3PO's memories, and he was picking up a signal...from Rey.

She was in Luke's old ship, and was using it to guide us to Exegol.

We were getting ready for the final fight...when Aqua and Terra ran up to me.

"Ven", the former started as she showed me her Gummi Phone.

"What is it", I asked.

"It's the Sinful Energy tracker Ienzo put on our Gummi Phones", Aqua started. "It's picking up a signal...from Exegol."

"The Sinful Energy is on Exegol", I asked in shock.

"Yes", Terra replied. "We have to go look for it."

"What about the Resistance", I asked.

"They have each other", Terra pointed out. "They can win their battle. We need to win ours."
