Chapter 37 Sinful Cheetah
Ephemer's POV
I walked out of my hallway and into a room, and when I did...there was someone waiting for me.
It was...Gula.
"Gula", I said.
"Hello Ephemer", Gula greeted. "I figured that it was only a matter of time before you and your friends realized that we were here."
"Actually", I started. "We didn't. Luxu told us that you would be here."
"He what", Gula asked angrily.
"He no longer wanted to fight Skuld", I revealed.
"I knew that girl would make Luxu betray us eventually", Gula revealed angrily.
"Hey", I said in defense of my friend.
"Oh well", Gula said. "I guess it doesn't matter anyway. The end is soon."
"Yes it is", I agreed. "Now, tell me where's the Sinful Energy Gula."
"Why should I", Gula asked mockingly.
"Because what's the point in not doing so", I asked.
"Good point", Gula replied.
Then...he held up a canister with a black liquid in it.
"Give that to me Gula", I demanded.
"And why should I do that", Gula asked mockingly.
"Because I know what will happen to you if you don't", I replied. "It happened to almost all the other Foretellers. It will happen to you as well."
"I am aware of that", Gula revealed.
"Then why continue with this", I asked. "You've all lost Gula. Now accept that lost."
"I am aware that we have lost", Gula revealed. "But I will not take that loss sitting down!"
With that...Gula opened the canister, and the Sinful Energy transformed him into...a giant, black cheetah.
I summoned my Keyblade...and charged at him.
He tried to hit me with his paw, but I managed to jump onto it.
Then, I ran up the paw before jumping and striking Gula in the cheek with my Keyblade.
He yelled out in pain before trying to strike me with his paws again.
I dodged them before getting under him and striking him in the stomach with my Keyblade.
As he yelled out in pain, I got behind him and yanked on his tail.
This caused him to yell out in pain before quickly turning around.
Since I was holding onto his tail, I was flung into the air.
I came down on him, and pierced my Keyblade right into his back.
He yelled out in pain one last time, and then...he fell to the ground.
I jumped off of him as he transformed back to normal.
I walked up to him, and he looked up at me...and smiled.
"I see it now", he said.
"See what", I asked in confusion.
"I now see why Ava chose you to lead the dandelions", Gula replied.
And then...he disappeared.
I sighed before looking up.
"With Gula gone, the only Foreteller left is Lady Invi", I said to myself.
I knew who was going to have to face her.
"Good luck Brain", I said to my friend. "You can beat her. I know you can."
