Chapter 38 Sinful Snake
Brain's POV
I walked into a room, and when I did...there was someone waiting for me.
It was...Invi.
"Invi", I said.
"Hello Brain", Invi greeted.
"Where is the Sinful Energy Invi", I asked.
Invi replied...by holding a canister up.
This canister contained a black liquid.
"Give that to me Invi", I demanded.
"I will not", Invi stated. "You and your little friends destroyed all the Master of Master's hard work!"
"Well excuse me for not wanting the plans of man who tried to consume the world in darkness to come to fruition", I said.
"The Master of Masters was going to create a better world that way", Invi defended.
"Do you really believe that", I asked.
Invi did not answer, and just looked at me in shock before averting her gaze away from mine.
"Admit it Invi", I demanded. "You never agreed with the Master of Master's plan. None of you did. Lady Ava was the only one who had the courage to try and stop it."
"Ava is a traitor", Invi stated angrily. "And so is anyone who sides with her! That includes you!"
With that...Invi pulled the cap off of the canister!
"Invi don't...", I pleaded.
But it was too late. The Sinful Energy had consumed Invi, and had turned her into a giant, black snake.
I took a deep breath before summoning my Keyblade.
Invi charged at me, but I managed to dodge roll out of the way.
Then I tried to swing my Keyblade at her, but she ended up blocking it with her the hard end of her tail.
After she did this, she curled her tail around me!
She squeezed me tight, and then, she threw me into the air.
I tried to come down on her, but she pinned me to the ceiling with the end of her tail.
I gasped out for air before looking down at her.
She charged at me with her fangs, but I managed to strike one of them.
This caused Invi to yell out in pain and release her grip on me.
I plunged my Keyblade into her side, causing her to yell out in pain again.
Lastly, I drew my Keyblade down her side, resulting in a large cut forming within her.
She yelled out in pain one more time, and then...she fell to the ground.
She transformed back to normal as I walked up to her.
She smiled sadly before looking at me.
"I guess that that is the end of the Foretellers", she pointed out.
"I guess it is", I agreed. "Now tell me, what does the Master of Masters plan to do?"
"He wants to get revenge on the one who keeps messing with his plans", Invi revealed.
"You don't mean", I started.
But before I could finish...Invi disappeared.
Then, everybody else ran into the room.
"Are you okay Brain", Ephemer asked.
"I'm fine", I replied. "But I think Sora is in trouble."
