"Why do I get the window seat?" Atlas asked while looking at Raynare next to him and Reya next to her.
"If somehow the wall is being ripped open, then you will die first. Or at least fly out first." Raynare explained.
Reya just giggled a bit before sitting down next to them. "You know I can teleport back if I keep a dagger in my bag?" Atlas asked Raynare.
"No you can't. I already noticed how light they are. And you came through the controls easily. Your daggers are nothing but hard plastic toys. I broke them." Raynare said loud enough for the peerage to hear it.
"You did what?" Sona asked from behind her with a threatening tone.
"Don't worry Sona. I just do something else." He gave Raynare a weird smile before his eyes glowed up.
While the woman focused on his eyes, he pulled out a stamp and a lighter from his pocket. He started to heaten up the stamp while the peerage watched interested into his eyes. The purple glow faded and everyone saw his hand pulling up her skirt and him smacking the stamp right on her tight.
Raynare yelled up in pain only for Atlas to mute her by clashing his lips on hers. The former fallen angel held her leg in agony while the others looked at him with anger. "You break my daggers, you become a teleportation beacon." He exclaimed with a sly tone while looking around. "Anyone else? No? That's what I thought."
"You are dead. So dead. Just wait till you are asleep." She said through clenched teeth. She saw him closing his eyes and leaning his head on the window. She came closer to his ear and started to whisper. "I will rip out your ribcage and make it my crown. Your spine will be my whip and your skull the cup I drink my wine off. I will use your wings as scythes to kill your kind and make sure that your eyes will be my necklace to witness all this."
"Are you done giving me wet dreams. I knew the kiss wasn't enough but this, damn, I think I am hard." He replied only for her to sit back in her seat and close her eyes, thinking of ways to kill him. "Try something and I will make sure that this small heat was nothing."
"So where are we staying?" Genshirou asked while sitting inside a bus that drove them through a city.
"I did some research and found something that could profit all of us." Sona answered while smiling weirdly.
"Oh shit. Please don't tell me we are in New Orleans." Reynare exclaimed with a worried look already knowing what Sona has in mind.
"Why, what is here?" Tsubaki asked.
Raynare slapped her forehead while Sona chuckled. "Atlas was born and raised in this town." Everyone just looked with a monotone face at her. "Fine, he was born here. I have no idea where or what raised him."
The bus stopped and they all looked to the side to see an abandoned house. Everyone got out, except for Atlas who was still asleep, and started to walk towards the house.
The peerage entered the property of the Paimon only to feel weird. This feeling didn't stop until they reached the porch of the house. Tsubaki stepped on the stairs only for her foot to be impaled by a spike that rose from the ground and vanished as fast as it appeared again.
She only yelled up in pain and fell on the ground as the others instantly tried to help her.
The only other boy suddenly couldn't move anymore after a needle hit him in the neck and paralyzed him.
Sona was tied to the ground by grass.
Raynare had immense pain in her legs.
Momo's legs vanished in the gravel that formed a path next to the main path.
Tomoe felt the gravity forcing her completely to the ground.
Tsubasa was suddenly tied to the fence by barbed wire that cut her through her clothes.
Reya received two arrows into her knees.
And finally Ruruko caught an arrow aimed at her face only for the round tip to explode and release gas that knocked her out.
"I never told you that this is a shitty idea because you didn't ask. Well here I am, telling you it's a shitty idea." Atlas said while holding Reynare's tight and a bag.
"Help us already!" Sona yelled at him.
"Fine." He sighted. He pulled Raynare towards him. The woman stopped feeling the pain in her head and looked around. "Bible verses being played directly on you at a high frequency."
He walked to Sona and carried her away from the grass. "Living plants that attack you by stepping on them."
He pulled out Momo from the gravel and carried her on the porch. "A fake path that slowly eats you. People who walked on this path hundreds of years ago are still inside, maybe even alive."
He picked up Tsubaki, sat her down on the chair of the porch and pulled off her shoe. He ripped off his sleeve and tied it around her foot. "Teeth of Cerberus attacking the blood of devils who try to enter the house without being invited."
He broke off the ends of the arrows in Reya's knees and carried her to Tsubaki. "Poisonous arrows shot at a velocity high enough to pierce bones easily."
Atlas walked to Tsubasa who already was bleeding all over her body. "Barbed wire controlled by wires that were tied to Tsubasa the moment she walked in." He said as he cut through two small strings attached to her shoulders.
"Saji will be able to walk in a few minutes. Ruroka is out till tomorrow morning and Tomoe can stand up when the door opens." He went to the door and kneeled down. "The final and most dangerous trap outside." He started to twist the door knob only for it to fall off. "Switch blade door." A blade jumped out of the former spot of the door knob only stopping a centimeter from Atlas face. "That's it, the traps are deactivated." He said before walking over to Tsubaki and picking her up in his arms. Raynare picked up Tsubasa while Sona and Momo helped Reya on Atlas back.
The tall boy kicked open the door and entered the house. "Mom, dad I am home." He remarked sarcastically upon walking to the living room where he put Tsubaki and Reya down. "You won't be able to heal these wounds with skin contact. My mom made sure of that, well not all of them."
"Fantastic." Sona remarked sarcastically. "Mother of the year. What now?"
"I know how to help." He rolled his eyes before turning around.
He walked to the dusty TV and smashed it. Inside laid various first aid kits that he picked up and carried to the injured girls. He pulled out a bottle and opened it before smelling on it. He tied a belt around Tsubasa's head and smirked. "Bite, because it will hurt."
Sona and the others pulled off her clothes and stood her up while she almost bit through the belt. "Wow, I think I will make her cry." He said before emptying the bottle over her head.
"Alkohol?" Sona asked while Tsubasa shook, fought and yelled into the belt.
"80% Alkohol. Germans call it Stroh 80. Tastes like shit, you will have the smell for the whole day in your mouth and it burns. But the best part is that it is the opposite of holy water and neutralizes it." Atlas smiled before picking her up and carrying her upstairs. "Momo, heal her with your devil magic. No one will be watching you." He closed the door to the bedroom and went downstairs again.
"What about Reya and Tsubaki?" Sona asked while looking at the two girls fighting their pain.
"Tsubaki will be easy, Reya on the other hand." He kneeled down in front of the bishop and stretched her legs. "This will hurt." He said as he pulled up her skirt and saw blue veins forming on her skin.
"Just give me something to bite on. I will survive that shower." She replied through her pain.
"Shower? You wished. Maybe later, together?" He only received a slap from Raynare who watched amused.
Atlas put her legs on the couch table and massaged her tights downwards, forcing the poison back into the lower regions of her legs. "This feels good." The injured girl finally said with a relaxed look.
"Then it's working." Atlas said before slowly pulling out a blade from under the couch.
He stopped massaging her only to suddenly slash off her legs from her knees down. Reya yelled out with great pain while the others watched horrified. "Calm down." Atlas said calm with blood all over his face.
While she kept yelling, he pulled out a small flask from his pocket and dropped the liquid into Reya's mouth.
In a burst of flames her legs reapered fully healed and her pain vanished. "You kept the tears?" Sona asked while Reya jumped Atlas and choked him.
"Yes, and can someone take her of me before I start to fight back and make her feel even better." Reya stopped doing what she started only to look into dangerous purple eyes. "Yeah, you better get off my dick." She turned immediately red after noticing where she was sitting on and stood up.
"Now the last one." Raynare smirked while already eating an old bag of chips.
"Won't hurt that much, I think, I only tried these once." Atlas exclaimed before pulling up Tsubaki's leg near his face. He untied the improvised bandage and could look directly through her foot. He laughed a bit while Raynare couldn't control her outburst.
He went upstairs and filled a bowl with water before coming down again. He put her foot inside it and threw in a few bags of tea that he pulled out from a first aid kid.
"Now comes the hard part." The water turned green and started to boil, but before Tsubaki could pull out her leg Atlas pushed it down.
Sona and Raynare just stared fascinated as the wound started to close. It was very slow and the steam of the water was boiling hot. Atlas just looked at Tsubaki's face with a warm smile.
She shook her head in agony while fighting it only for the others to come down half an hour later.
"Why was this all so painful?" Reya asked as the others wanted an answer. Tsubaki was still filled with agony, just tied to the couch now and her leg was tied to weights.
"Well, the only way it would be done without pain would be to get naked, jump in my bed and rub yourself on me. I am immune to Cerberus bites. In Fact, my energy neutralizes the effects and lessens the pain, while our shitty medieval medicine is basically sterile cocaine, heroin, alcohol and chili mixed with weed." The others just looked at Tsubaki and at the bowl of water.
"How long will it take?" Momo asked as she saw Tsubaki fighting against the immense heat.
"Another four hours. Six if she stops feeling the pain. It was fast at the beginning but this medicine is a high risk for devils and we develop false immunity to it. So either I throw in more medicine to heal the wound with even hotter water and risk her death, or we wait four to six hours for her to heal enough so the wound starts closing itself." Atlas sat down and ate a few chips from Raynare who was laughing. He looked at Sona and slit his finger across his throat while shaking his head.
"Take...of...my...clothes. Heal...me...Atlas." Tsubaki got out trying not to faint and to lose to the pain. Her cheeks were red from the tear trails and her eyes had pain in them. "Ple...ase."
"Was waiting for that. If she wouldn't have said it I would have forced her to do it. Otherwise she would die in the next hour." He said as he cut her ropes.
As soon as she was free, her hand shot up to his throat. With twitching eyes she squeezed it as hard as she could. "If you try something, I will make sure your dick will be digested inside of the gravel for the next hundred years."
"If you squeeze tighter, I actually start having problems with breathing." He smiled before picking her up after she released her grip on him. "Good night then." He turned around one last time and smiled warmly. "By the way. My room is the only room with a working TV." He said before running up and closing the door of his old room behind him.
"Turn around." Tsubaki said calmly again while looking at Atlas who sat on the edge of the bed looking at her foot.
"I saw you naked already, we did this healing once already and we will see each other naked in a minute. So what's there to hide now?" Atlas asked while the girl just looked at him and opened her blouse revealing her breasts covered by a blue bra.
Despite Altas having knowledge with girls, he felt different after seeing her taking her clothes off. "Moving hurts, doesn't it?"
"How do you know that?" Tsubaki asked while looking back at him.
"I don't know if you saw it already, but my magic had covered it quite well." Atlas said without any joy in his voice. He got rid of his shirt and revealed a few marks similar to her wound across his chest. Just that his scars were formed like a jaw. "Someone had to get the teeth. My oldest brothers weren't there and I was bad at running. I know how much it hurts to move with its energy in your body."
"Why didn't you tell us that earlier?" She asked while trying to slide closer to him.
"What counts now is that I understand your pain. Back when I was bitten I had to drink this hot substance. And now you have me." He looked back at her only to see her sitting next to him. "Listen, I know you don't like me. It's obvious. But I start to like you. You were the one who saved my life and I want to return the favour."
Both looked at each other with a subtle smile. Tsubaki felt how her hands moved on her own towards Atlas head. "Just this time, I forget who you were before we entered this room. And I decide if this will happen again or not." She said while slowly pulling his head towards her's and closing her eyes the same moment as he did. His left hand moved to her hip while his right hand moved to her cheek.
"SO HOW IS IT GOING!" Raynare barged in while both stopped immediately in their tracks. "Wrong moment! Definitely wrong moment!" She yelled while walking out backwards.
"Sorry, my sister has these habits." Atlas joked while Tsubaki laughed. "Cute." He said one last time before the older girl planted her lips on his.
