And here's the bit you've been waiting for, showdown part 2!

Callie stood outside her house, the house that she shared with Eduardo, passing her keys back and forth between her hands. She knew that Arizona was watching her, she could almost feel her eyes burning into her back from the bottom of the drive. Taking a deep breath, she lifted a shaky hand and put her key into the lock, turning it and opening the door.

The house was quiet, but she could hear the faint sound of the radio coming from the backyard. She paused for a moment, trying to motivate herself, before taking purposeful strides to the back door. Letting the door swing open, she did nothing to prevent it from banging against the wall, alerting her husband to her presence.

On hearing the noise, Eduardo looked up from his phone and smirked at her.

"So you finally decided to show your face then?" he asked with a sneer.

"Yes I did"

He shook his head "You've got some nerve, standing there like you've done nothing wrong"

Callie laughed sarcastically "You really want to talk to me about nerve?"

Eduardo slammed his phone down angrily and stood up "Don't backchat me Callie. You owe me a fucking apology"

"Do I?" she asked, knowing she was baiting him but no longer caring.

"You know damn well you do" he strode towards her before lowering his voice "I won't accept my wife staying out all night without giving me an explanation"

"And what are you going to do about it? Are you going to put your hands on me out here in the yard for all the neighbours to hear?" she challenged.

"Don't fucking tempt me" he pointed a finger in her face, and she could see from the amount it was shaking how much restraint it was taking not to hit her.

"I'm not afraid of you" Callie stood her ground, her focus unwavering as he stared him down.

"Callie" he laughed at her "don't pretend to be something you're not"

"Something I'm not?!" she raised her eyebrows, feeling her fury rise "And what's that, then?"

"You know who you are. You're not the kind of woman who talks to her husband like that. You're sensitive"

"You mean you think I'm weak?"

"You're over-emotional Callie. God knows what's got into you lately but I suggest you go cool down and come back when you're ready to apologise"

"See here's the thing" Callie stepped closer so that her face was inches from his "you won't be getting an apology from me. Not now, not ever"

"I'm giving you one final chance here…"

"Or you'll what? Yell at me? Hit me?" her eyes blazed "Rape me?"

Eduardo took a step back, eyes widened in shock "What?"

"That's right" she smiled "I know your dirty little secret"

"I have no idea what you're talking about" he protested.

"You're a terrible liar. I can't believe it's taken me this long to realise you were hiding something from me to be honest"

"You watch your mouth" he threatened.

"Don't bother" Callie put up a hand to stop him "I'm not interested in your threats. All I'm interested in is finding out just how sick and twisted you really are"

Eduardo scoffed "You need to stop speaking in riddles and just come out with whatever fiction you've invented so that I can carry on with my day, and you can start working on a damn god apology"

"I know it was you who made Arizona leave ten years ago"

"You don't know anything"

"Oh but I do" she continued "I know you threatened her, and that if you hadn't, she never would have gone. So I just want to hear your explanation before I walk out of here for good"

"Don't pretend like you'd ever leave me, Callie" he shook his head, walking back to take his seat at the garden table "You need me too much"

"You're wrong" Callie held her head high "Maybe there was a time when I felt like that, when I felt like I was nothing on my own. But not anymore"

"Let me guess, someone's been filling your head with stories, and now somehow you think you're too good for your little life?"

"I've always been too good for you" she answered simply "it's just taken me this long to realise what a piece of shit you really are. For years, I thought I didn't deserve true happiness. Thought I was worthless and should just be grateful for any handout I could get. I…God…" she laughed ironically "I even believed that you saved me"

"I did save you, Callie. You remember the state you were when we first got together? You really think anyone else would have taken you on?"

"I know one person that would have…"

Eduardo's eyes narrowed "Sure you do"

"She would have had me if it wasn't for you, you and your vile threats"

"Ohhh" he nodded knowingly "I see what's going on here. She's been back a few days and already she's filling your head with this bullshit. God, that woman is toxic"

"At first…at first maybe I thought there was a chance that she'd got it wrong. That I knew the man that I married. But then I came to realise…it's the only thing that made sense"

"I don't know what she's told you, Callie…"

"How about you tell me your side then? You tell me what happened the night that she left" she challenged him.

Eduardo stared at her for a minute, considering how to play this "I had nothing to do with that"

"Cut the crap Eduardo. You were there. And when Arizona refused to accept money from my father, he turned to you. Bribery didn't work, but threats did. So I want to hear it from you. I'm giving you one chance to be honest with me"

"Sure" he shrugged, pausing for a moment before answering "I was there. And yeah, I might have put a little pressure on her, threatened to knock her around a bit unless she left you alone. And look what happened…she ran out on you. So maybe you should consider that for a minute before you believe everything that she tells you"

"Eduardo" she shook her head, sighing "I really thought you might be man enough to just admit what you'd done. I guess I overestimated you"

Callie pulled out her phone, sending a quick text to Arizona.

"Give me your phone" Eduardo got to his feet, storming towards her.

"Not a chance" she held it behind her back, taking several steps backwards.

"Are you really that much of a slut that you'd text that dyke in front of me? I said give me your fucking phone"

He grabbed hold of one of her arms, his fingers gripping tightly enough that she was certain it would bruise. Still she wouldn't back down, bending her body away from him as he tried to use his free arm to snatch the phone from behind her back.

"Get the fuck off me" she growled.

"Do you have any idea how disgusting you are?" he hissed "No-one is ever going to want you again, you realise that?"

"I'd take that a million times over if it meant that I never had to go near you again"

"You'll regret this Callie, I swear to god. Just give me your phone you cheating whore. Or are you ashamed of her? You fucking should be"

"GET YOUR FUCKING HANDS OFF HER!"

The side gate swinging open behind her, Arizona stormed over to them, chest heaving with fury. She lunged at Eduardo, catching him off guard and causing him to stumble backwards, finally releasing his grip on the brunette.

"Well well well" he gathered himself, drawing himself back up to his full height "I should have known you couldn't keep your filthy dyke hands away. Now I think you'll find that this discussion is between me and my wife, so I suggest you leave. Now"

Arizona smiled her sweetest smile at him "If you think that I'm leaving her alone with you for one second more, then you're very much mistaken"

Eduardo laughed "You're literally a nobody. This whole town washed its hands of you a long time ago. Do you really think I give a fuck what you say?"

"I couldn't care less about you, or what anybody else in this town thinks of me" the blonde walked towards him, squaring up to him despite the fact that he towered above her "because I know who you really are, Eduardo. And now Callie does too. Does it make you feel like a big man, hurting women?"

"You're no woman" he spat.

Ignoring his comment, she continued "Is that what gets you off? The thought of forcing yourself on a woman? Or is it that you think so little of yourself that you figured that that was the only way you could actually get someone to sleep with you? I bet seeing Callie so broken after I left was your little wet dream, wasn't it? A woman that you could prey on while everyone else thought you were her knight in shining armour?"

She could see the fury rising in his eyes as he reached out and grabbed her by the collar, pulling her in so their faces were almost touching.

"You're a sick bitch, you know that?" he hissed "And you know that nobody will ever believe you if you try and talk shit about that night. So I suggest you walk away while you still can"

Arizona shoved his shoulders hard, causing him to stumble backwards again. She brushed down her collar, for show mainly, before addressing him again.

"See here's the thing, Eduardo. I never gave a fuck what anyone else in this town thought about me. For all I care, they can spend the rest of their lives thinking I just ran away. Because the one person that I care about knows the truth. And that's enough for me"

He laughed "And what, you have some little fantasy where you two are going to run off into the sunset? I really hate to burst your bubble sweetheart but there's no way Callie will actually leave with you"

Sensing that the brunette was about to speak, Arizona reached out a hand to squeeze her arm, indicating that she wasn't done yet.

"Whether Callie leaves, or stays, is entirely a matter for her. What matters to me is that the woman that I love, who I have always loved, knows the truth about why I left her. To protect her from a monster like you. Because unlike you, I have always put her first. So no, Eduardo, I couldn't give a flying fuck if nobody else in this town ever believed a word I said. Because Callie does. And she's the only fucking person that matters in this scenario"

"Hey Cal" Eduardo lifted his gaze over the blonde's shoulder to make eye contact with his wife "you do realise that she's going to ruin your life, don't you? Nobody's going to even look at you when she leaves you in the gutter somewhere"

"Ruin my life?!" Callie exclaimed, stepping forwards so that she was side by side with the blonde "There's only one person here who ruined my life, and that's the man that threatened to rape me, got rid of the one person who actually fucking cared about me, and then married me and made me think I was somehow indebted to him for allowing me the privilege of his time! So if we want to talk about ruining my life, well right now, there's really not a lot to ruin. But when I leave, and that's not if, it's when, I have a chance to fucking make something of myself, and I'm gonna grab that chance with both hands"

"You know what" Eduardo shrugged in defeat, but kept a smile plastered across his face "good luck to you both, you're really going to fucking need it. And Callie? Don't come crawling back when you have even less than the nothing you have now"

Sensing the blonde about to physical move forwards, Callie grabbed her hand, stilling her instantly.

"Goodbye Eduardo" she stared at him through narrowed eyes "don't expect to hear from me again unless it's through a lawyer"
