While I enjoy writing, I don't enjoy reviews that are just not constructive nor helpful. I mean you Flaashii, I still couldn't decipher what you wrote.

Darkxlunatiic, thanks for your kind review. Made my day.

Anyways, chapter 8 everybody... Cheez Whiz

"Where are they!?" Atlas slammed his hands on Sona's table while yelling at her.

"Calm down, we hid them as a precaution." She answered with narrowed eyes and a cold look. "Why did you go back for a few books?"

"You have no right to even mention those books, so what gives you the right to hide them from me!?" He yelled again, while slowly starting to scare the others. "Just give them back to me. Don't be naive." He threatened silently.

"And then what? You will fight a Sitri with your flaw? I know how weak you are against water-based magic." Sona stood up and looked him directly into the eyes.

Atlas just looked at Tsubasa, bit his lip and nodded in understanding. "I was right with not trusting any of you."

"Atlas, I can explain!" Tsubasa yelled only for him to turn around and to look at her again.

"You told the heir of the house that defeated us in the last war, how to fight us?" He asked his girlfriend while looking at her in disappointment. "It's been one week, and you are already breaking up? What a nice relationship that you wanted."

The girl just nodded silently and walked out. "She had nothing to do with this!" Sona yelled at him.

"Do I look like I care?" Atlas asked her only to turn around and open the door. "I went through great pains to get these books, and I won't endure it again. I'd rather just kill those in my path, doesn't matter who they are." He explained. "You have 24 hours to decide if you need me in your peerage or not. And trust me, for the sake of everyone in this room, you better keep me."

With that, he smashed the door close as he left the student council.

"I told you." Raynare leaned back against the wall while everyone looked shocked at Sona. "You should have left the books alone."

"All of them cause us devils great pain. They must be holy books that were eventually stolen. We need to contact Lucifer and find out what exactly they are. Whatever Atlas did, it is not good for the devils." She explained.

With purple glowing eyes, a rage-filled face, and a stolen hat in his hands, Atlas reappeared in his bedroom. He started to search through his stuff and found two small metal packages, each the size of a card and thick enough to hold an entire deck of them.

He opened one pack and saw thin, sharp, steel cards decorated with jewels falling out of the package. All of them carried the same runes he burned into Raynare's leg.

The next thing he did was to smash a picture frame and put the picture itself inside his school uniform.

Finally, he kneeled down and opened the floor by taking off a hidden wood plank. He grabbed a backpack that was laying down there and opened it. He saw a few rolls of money, a pencil case, and a few notebooks. "What are you doing?" He heard a young voice behind him. "Running away from your problems again?"

"I am preparing myself to run away from them. I am not leaving yet." He answered as he turned around. "You haven't talked to me in months, Penelope."

"I know. Your soul is not what I expected it to be. It's..." She tried her best but couldn't find the words.

"It's darker, more tainted, evil, and greedy?" Atlas helped the small golden-haired girl. He just walked to her and adjusted the small halo that was hovering above her head.

"Yes." She looked down in shame, evading the boy's gaze. "You should trust Sona. She seems like a good girl. And you were harsh on your girlfriend. I would have told her your weakness, too."

Atlas just looked at her with a questioning gaze. "Really? Why?"

"What if you need help, you had that problem once already. You just ran and wouldn't stop. Water would have forced you to stop. She could save your life." Atlas just nodded in agreement. He blinked once and suddenly the girl was gone.

The boy just looked to the left and saw Tsubaki standing in the door frame to his bedroom. "Talking with yourself?"

"What do you want?" He asked the girl.

"Sona wants to give your books to the Satans to see if they can find out anything, then give them back to you," Tsubaki answered. "We voted anonymously for a second option."

"And?" Atlas asked, a bit curious.

"You get them back if you explain to us why they are so important to you that you went back into the house full of shadow creatures just to get them. You could have died." She explained a bit worried.

"Any other way to get them back?" He asked the girl. "I feel uncomfortable with telling her this after she just broke the trust that I tried to build up with her." Atlas looked past her into a mirror only to see Penelope standing behind him.

"You still trust them. You went through pain to get them and this let them fear for your health. You were covered in blood when you came back. They think that those books are too dangerous, even for you." She explained while hugging the taller boy from behind.

"Listen, Atlas. Tsubasa sacrificed her relationship with you just so you don't come back covered in blood ever again. I am glad I don't have a relationship with you because I might have paid the same price, but I am also glad that nothing serious happened to you." She said coming closer to him. "I want to trust you as much as you want to trust us. But how can we do that if you keep these secrets from us?" Tsubaki asked, finally standing right in front of him.

"I will tell you when I am ready. I just can't tell you right now. What if information slips or someone is captured and interrogated. I can't risk your health for mine." Atlas answered and for the first time, Tsubaki knew that he was being honest.

"Fine." She sighed out. "What about Tsubasa?" She asked as she felt his hands going up to her skirt. "Atlas?" She felt him stopping right before he reached her most intimate spot.

"Tell Tsubasa that I am sorry. I didn't mean what I said and when I am back, I will take her out to dinner. I can be her slave. But only if she intents on hurting me, otherwise it's just a date and not a slave kink." Atlas smiled warmly into her face.

"What about me? Do I get dates?" Tsubaki asked only to feel something scratching her shirt. She looked down and turned red from the sight of a square package with a visible ring inside.

"You get these." He kissed her before he finally pulled up her skirt and squeezed her rear.

"Wake the fuck up!" Raynare yelled only for Tsubaki to just sit up in Atlas' bed. Like Raynare, she was nude, but unlike her, she was covered in red dots. "At least throw away the condoms you fucking bitch. It's disgusting to sleep on them!"

"What? Where is Atlas?" Tsubaki asked, standing up and collecting her clothes.

"Don't know, but from what I can see, he left some 'scars', huh?" Tsubaki, still in a daze, looked down her breasts and her stomach only to see hickeys all over her torso and even on her rear. "Even the ass? God, this guy isn't joking."

"Where is he? And when did you get here?" Tsubaki just asked while finally putting on her clothes.

"He left early in the morning. Saw him climbing out the window when I came in around two hours ago. He was in a hurry." She answered only for Tsubaki to smile a bit.

"Was it that good?" Raynare asked in a sarcastic tone.

"It was fantastic." Tsubaki just answered before leaving in a magical circle.

"Why are they all leaving so fast?" She asked herself before shrugging her shoulders and laying down again.

"You are a bad spy." Penelope joked while sitting on the edge of a roof right next to Atlas.

"And you are a bad friend for not listening to me." Atlas replied while she laughed.

"Why?" She looked curious. "Because I went after those screams?"

"Just shut up, I need to follow those three." Atlas said while looking at three people walking down the road covered in white hoods. One of them even held a massive object wrapped in bandages.

He continued to follow them before completely hiding after seeing Issei interacting with them. "What do you see, Penelope?"

"They are walking to your school. It's Saturday, so I am sure that it has something to do with Rias Gremory and her peerage." Atlas just nodded and stood up again.

"Are you going to warn Sona?" His friend asked.

"Nope. I'm going to follow them and see what Rias is going to do." Atlas answered and continued to spy them.

Sona just stared at the various books in front of her. All of them seemed like they were part of something…bigger... She blinked once, then twice. The sealed book that was right in front of her nose was gone. Instead, a small note laid there on the desk.

"Don't open these books if you value your sanity. I am watching Rias and some Exorcists make a deal. Something that revolves around Excalibur swords." Sona read out loud before her mind froze.

The writing style. She recognized it immediately. She opened up every book she saw on her desk and saw the same writing style in all of them. As usual for Atlas, they were only written with English letters, but the meaning was in different languages. "Whatever these books are, Atlas wrote them." She exclaimed, a bit scared as blood ran down her lips.

"It hurts reading them! This is impossible!" Momo yelled, closing all the books on Sona's table.

"I know but the writing style is the same," Sona answered.

"Sona, look. This book says 'First entry, October First, 2004'. Atlas was four when he wrote this if it's true what you say." Genshirou replied.

"But who wrote them then?" She asked only for everyone to stay silent.

"You speak Egyptian?" Penelope asked while hovering above her friend.

"No, but a dictionary does." He answered while flicking through the pages of his book."Did you know that egyptian magic was one of the most creative once? I couldn't believe what I was reading after I deciphered these texts." The girl above him nodded silently while leading him with her hands on his shoulders. "Found you!" He exclaimed loudly while entering Rias' building.

"That which is crooked cannot be made straight, and that which is wanting cannot be numbered." He read out in ancient Egyptian and saw the door to the meeting room slowly disappearing.

Everyone present turned around, only to see Atlas stepping inside while the door was gone completely. "Sorry for your door, it was in my way."

"Why didn't you just open it?" Rias asked with a cold tone.

"It was open?" He looked back and saw nothing. "Couldn't tell."

"What are you doing here, Ace?" Issei asked, with even the three exorcists being curious by now.

"Sona sent me to investigate the exorcist case. I mean, three exorcists came into the Sitri and Gremory territory. Meaning that the decision falls to both of you." 'Ace' explained while looking around. "Kind of crowded in here."

"These exorcists came into the home of my peerage member and wanted to see me," Rias answered while standing up.

Atlas just walked forward and took a seat right across from the exorcists. "Allow me to ask them a few questions, then I will be done here.

"Fine." Rias huffed and sat down.

The black-haired boy faced the three hooded figures and smiled warmly. "Are you searching for something?" He asked and immediately saw them stiffen.

"What is it that you search for?" He followed up immediately with a second question. This time his voice sounded more sinister and aggressive.

"The Excalibur swords." One of the three figures answered.

"Pffff, good. I almost thought you were searching for something else." He answered while everyone narrowed their eyes. "Now, my last question. Who sent you on this mission?"

"The Vatican." The second figure answered. Both were girls, that's what Atlas could make out till now.

"So, you are not from IPol?" Atlas asked another question with a relieved tone while the others had a surprised look on their faces. "And you never heard of the names 'Idris' and 'Hamza'?" He asked again and none of the exorcists reacted. "Well, I am done. They are all yours."

"Before you go, you asked who sent us, and you were relieved that we are searching for the Excalibur swords. What are you hiding?" Atlas just smiled while putting on a pair of sunglasses. His eyes turned purple and with a massive blow of wind, he was gone. The entire peerage looked at the Exorcist suddenly not wearing their hoods anymore. Everyone was shocked to see a blonde, a bluenette, and a silver-haired girl.

"Did you really need to smack their asses while stealing their robes," Penelope asked annoyed.

"You saw these cheeks in those exorcist outfits. I would love to bury my tongue in them." He laughed before turning serious again. "The silver-haired girl knows of the Gutenberg Bible.

"How!?" His flying friend asked. "You were alone in the museum when the alarm went off."

"Yeah, they don't know me, but they know that only higher ranking devils know of this book, and in this town, there are two with a connection to two Satans. This is the perfect spot to hide." He explained while opening the door to the student council only to see everyone sitting there, looking at him strangely. He looked back at the door and saw no one. "What?"

"Recently you started talking to yourself. Why?" Tsubaki asked while seeing the sealed book in his hand.

"Because of reasons… and loneliness." He answered while throwing the sealed book on Sona's table, grabbing Tsubasa's hand, and walking out with her. "We are going on a date, don't expect us to come back tonight."

"It's only two in the evening." Momo closed her eyes and shook her head in dismay. She then looked at Tsubaki who smiled. "What do you see in him?"
