Chapter 14 everyone. Sometimes I have boners when writing certain scenes. Sweet chili sauce
Kokabiel hovered above them. Pale white skin, long black hair. Ten wings sprouting out of his back and pointy ears showing out of his hair. "Raynare. I thought you died." He said with a calm tone letting everyone shiver a bit.
"As you can see, I am as alive as always." She replied while in Atlas clothes. "Why are you still doing this? Do you still want that war so much?"
"You know the answer, foolish girl. Making friends with devils. Your mother would be turning in her grave." He chuckled a bit while the dark-haired woman bit her lip. "What will you do now? Attack me? You are weak and nothing will change that."
The woman in question just looked to the ground only to feel a shivering hand taking hers. "Want to smash his skull? I'll help you. C'mon, don't be sad." Atlas smiled warmly at her while the fallen angel in the air laughed loudly.
"And even a boyfriend. Does that mean I will be a grandfather soon?" Atlas' eyes widened while the others just tried to connect the dots with a frozen mind. "Screw that, I don't want no devil kids."
"Aye!" Atlas yelled. "Guy who's the name I forgot within seconds! What's your plan?"
"What my plan is? Look down! Two sisters of two Satans! If I kill them then I have the attention of the devils and with the Excalibur, I will have the attention of Heaven. I will start another war, and this time end it!" The man yelled in joyous glee while explaining his plan. The others just stared in shock as the fallen angel simply flew off towards their school while leaving them behind.
"Your dad? Your dad is a ten winged Grigori leader and you are here sleeping next to me naked while you could be sleeping in a mansion?" Atlas asked her before smiling. "I know it was love at first sight."
Raynare just smiled at him before applying pressure to Atlas' broken hand making him scream out in pain.
"That's enough," Sona ordered. "Maybe a bit more." She heard him scream and smiled before Raynare released the grip. "Atlas, you and Tsubaki take Irina. You both need someone to heal this."
"Fine," Tsubaki said while picking up Irina and stepping into a circle followed by Atlas.
"Let's go, we have to stop him," Tomoe spoke eagerly before they all left for the school.
"Give me your hand," Tsubaki ordered after laying Irina on Atlas' couch.
The boy did as she told him and saw her folding his hand slowly into a fist while letting the Index finger out. "Listen, is it over between us?" Atlas asked only for her to apply some pressure.
"Shhh..." He moaned out in pain before laughing slowly. "This really gets me going, uhh. So that is a no? We don't fuck anymore?"
"Don't call it that." She replied. "We didn't just 'fuck'. We kissed, held hands, watched movies, and just spent time together. I thought we had something serious." The boy just shook his head and looked at her. "And no this is not over, do you think I feel comfortable enough to find someone else? I had to get used to you already, which is one of the hardest things in this world."
"And you know what is harder?" Altas smiled before pulling her into a kiss. "Sex heals faster and I need to go back and help them, otherwise only Issei's team will survive."
"Our sex might save the world?" Tsubaki asked with a tint of sarcasm.
"Here read it yourself," Atlas said while handing her a shrinking book.
It opened itself and Tsubaki looked into it. Her head was burning from pain but she tried to withstand it as much as possible. "It only has this page left!"
"Yep, Ruruko will die today." She saw the book growing in size after trusting Atlas again and turned to him.
She ripped open her school uniform letting the buttons fly in all directions. "What are you waiting for? An invitation letter?" She asked in anger while Atlas just smiled.
"I am waiting for you to turn more aggressive. I can be soft and passionate about Momo, but you are different." He grinned dangerously while Tsubaki grinned in a similar manner. She put off her glasses and before Atlas knew it, she was on top of him and clutching his broken hand softly to let him moan out.
"Did I ever tell you how much I like you?"
"Sona, it's still not too late to create a barrier and stay outside!" Rias yelled before shooting a spell of destruction at a giant three-headed dog.
"As Atlas would say: fuck you and mind your own business," Sona replied while shooting Icicles at a second Cerberus who was attacking Asia.
Akeno and Raynare kept flying above the battlefield shooting lightning and light spears at the giant dogs while Tomoe, Tsubasa, Koneko, and Issei fought the dogs head-on. Just Momo, Reya, and Asia stayed at the back and tried to help with their magical abilities.
Lint kept fighting Freed alone and held her ground before everyone heard a yell and saw the head of a dog fall on the ground. "Xenovia!" The silver-haired girl yelled out in relief only to turn around and see a sword strike coming directly at her face.
She froze in place and only gave out the last prayer before hearing a massive blast of air and seeing Freed being pushed away at an inhuman speed. "Missed us?" Xenovia asked while everyone looked at her and then at Atlas who stood up from a crater in the ground.
"She kind of broke into my room and caught me and Tsubaki having premarital arm healing," Atlas explained while looking at the blue-haired girl in anger.
"You shouldn't be doing such things at that age. What if you have a baby without being married. It would be a..." Xenovia couldn't even finish the sentence before a metallic card cut her cheek.
"What happens between Tsubaki and me, is our thing. Join me if you want to tell me something about it. And if you call my future kids bastards again, I will make sure that next time I won't miss your jugular." Atlas threatened with a stern look. He pulled out his book and sighed before putting out some hair from his pocket and laying it into the book.
The grimoire grew in size while Atlas started to look directly at the last line of the book. He kept on looking at the full stop at the end while slowly walking forward.
As he started to come too close to Kokabiel and his throne Atlas saw the full stop vanishing slowly and stopped. He went a step back and smiled. "Lint, I would appreciate it if you would shoot me with your gun."
"How did you know...?" She stopped talking only to just nod and pull out a small revolver and aimed it at Atlas. She pulled the trigger and within the blink of an eye, the flaming bullet was inside Atla's chest.
"Noooo!" Momo yelled while Tsubasa looked with shock at the sight of Atlas falling on the ground. Everyone looked with horror as the boy just started to lose blood. "Tomoe get him back here!" She yelled out.
The Red-haired girl ran as fast as she could to the boy and held his would only to see him smile. "You shouldn't worry about this scratch. The real pain is about to come in ten seconds." He brought out while trying to stand up.
"Stay on the ground," Tomoe whispered. "Please."
"It's all good. Don't worry." Atlas said the last time before hugging the girl, turning around and pushing her away from him.
Everyone just stared at him. A smile on his face and blood running down his mouth and nose as a light spear was piercing his chest. "Yuuto now!" Atlas yelled with all strength he had left. "How is the holy energy, Penelope?" He asked as she slowly absorbed the entire light spear, leaving a hole in his chest.
"Refreshing." She answered while holding his half-healed hand.
The blonde boy jumped out from a tree and shoved his sword as deep as he could into the ground, creating massive blades that rose from the ground right below Kokabiel.
The fallen angel just laughed and flew up, while his wings destroyed the blades with ease. "All that just so I would stand up? Pathetic. I thought your friends would be a bit better than this, daughter."
"Don't call me that!" Raynare yelled before summoning multiple magic circles that shot red light spears at her father. In a pure rage, she saw how the spears grew in size with every shot.
"I didn't know she could do that," Tomoe said as she slowly pulled Atlas towards Momo. Asia immediately started to heal him while the white-haired girl and Reya gave her all their energy.
"Do you think I know? Emotions are a powerful trigger for power. If she had a sacred gear, then this might have been her Balance Breaker." Atlas explained while feeling his body regrow the holes.
While Xenovia and Koneko finished the last dog, Yuuto helped Lint fight Freed, who recovered from Atlas' attack.
Sona just heard Valper saying some nonsense before being impaled by another light spear. "He was not supposed to find that out. But where is the fun if you don't know that, exorcists." Kokabiel laughed while Atlas widened his eyes.
The boy immediately stood up and ran with still bleeding wounds towards the fallen angel. He took off one of his shoes and threw it directly into Kokabiel's face. No one dared to move while the fallen angel stared at the falling shoe and then to Atlas. He looked back at the shoe only to see it gone alongside Atlas.
Raynare's father just blocked a card with his wing before Atlas grabbed it and kicked the man into the face. "Paimon!" The ten winged Grigori leader yelled.
"How did you-...yahhhhh." The black-haired boy yelled out as Kokabiel grabbed his leg and shot him down at the ground. Again Atlas climbed out of a crater only for this time to widen his eyes. "I hate the future." He whispered before closing his eyes.
Kokabiel summoned a giant light spear above his head and threw it at Atlas who looked defeated on the ground.
He waited for the impact, but it never came. "What?" He looked up only to see Sona's one and the only knight using a sword to block the strike and holding it off. "Tomoe, get the fuck away! This sword is unholy! It will-..." Atlas couldn't even finish the sentence before the swords started to crack.
He stood up and ran as fast as he could towards the girl and pushed her away the same moment the blade broke. They laid on the ground for a split second with him shielding her before the spear impacted and exploded, consuming them in the thick cloud of dust and dirt.
His sight was bad. Nothing there except for a wall of brown dust. Tomoe laying on his chest, her face covered in his blood. He felt his eyes close but resisted the temptation of death. His hand moved around and checked Tomoe's body for any wounds. He sighed in relief after only feeling nonlethal scratches.
Her heart was still beating and he could hear her breath.
Atlas stood up. The pain couldn't hinder him anymore. He released the circles on his arm and summoned his clothes. On one hand, he summoned a green book with seven stars gracing the cover. 'Wisdom' written on it with blood. "The terror of a king is as the roaring of a lion: he that provoketh him to anger forfeiteth his life!" He yelled out in Greek before falling on the ground.
The entire ground shook and with every move of the earth Atlas had to endure, he screamed louder. He couldn't feel his legs anymore nor his left arm. Despite that, he used his broken right arm to crawl to Tomoe where he laid his head on her stomach. "I love that the Lord should hear my voice and my supplications." He whispered out in Hebrew while reading another verse of his book. His nose started to bleed without stopping and within the next minute he finally passed out while Tomoe woke up.
The dust settled only for her to see Kokabiel went and a pair of his wings laying on the ground. All over the former spot of Kokabiel were pieces of metal spikes growing out of the ground. Several meters high and some of them had blood dripping down from the top. "Tomoe!" She heard Sona's yell. It was faint and silenced, but she could hear it.
"Wha... What happened?" She asked while looking at her stomach where Atlas was laying, bleeding out of his nose and a single red tear leaving his eye.
"The Vanishing Dragon came and took Kokabiel with him," Momo explained while Asia immediately started to heal Atlas again.
"Asia, stop it." Everyone froze after hearing Rias voice. "I don't want him to stay alive."
"B...but, why?" Momo asked while Asia stood up and walked saddened to the others of Rias peerage.
"He was ready to let us die and only came back because the future wanted him to. I don't want to save him. He hurt Issei already." Tomoe listened to Rias and looked at the brown-haired boy who was wounded on his leg. She looked back up at the top of the metal spikes where she saw the blood again.
"Rias, you will regret this." Sona threatened. "Momo, how much time does he have?"
"None." The white-haired girl said with a crack in her voice. "He is dead."
