Summary: For years, Diana has been watching over Tony, from a distance since the death of Maria and Howard. But when he is captured by The Ten Rings, she doesn't have a choice but to go and rescue him, resulting in revealing herself to him and to explain everything to him.

Introduction:

After the Great War ended. After the death of Steve Trevor. She walked away from mankind and hung up her armor. But when WWII came along, she couldn't just sit by and let it happen, so she became Wonder Woman once again. While she was helping defend the villages from HYDRA's destruction, she was found and recruited by Peggy Carter. Soon she met Howard Stark and despite his personality, they all became real good friends and the only people who knew she was a princess. A Demi-Goddess. That her father was The Olympian God Zuse. When they didn't believe her, she showed them her God-like powers. After witnessing something like that, it tends to change people's opinions.

She was there for the birth of Captain America. She met the Howling Commandos and went off to war with them. Apparently, there have been stories about her during "The Great War". How she led men across "No Mans Land" and into "The Battle of Veld" Stories of her bravery is told all across Europe, Germany, London, everywhere. To the soldiers, they were nothing but a myth, but after she destroyed a Hydra base and freed the other soldiers, they couldn't believe that the stories that were told were true. During the The Great War she was given the name Wonder Woman.

When she heard about the tesseract, she knew that The Red Skull can't just have it, someone must've given it to him. When she heard him say "Powers of a God" she got the feeling that this was all to draw her out into the open. Turns out she was right, Enyo: The Goddess of War, also her half sister, the sister to Ares: The God of War. Apparently she was behind the war, she tried to tell the General and the Howling Commandos but they didn't believe her. But when Enyo took the General and Peggy Carter hostage at the Headquarters in the alps, she led soldiers to the base and raided it as she went to search for her half sister.

When she found Enyo, it was in the lab she saw the General and Peggy tied up and gagged in chairs. Diana and Enyo talked, apparently she was revenge on Diana for killing their half brother Ares. They fought for hours. But in the end, Diana won by stabbing her in the stomach with a "Goodby Sister" when she freed the two people, they had no choice but to believe after what they saw or heard. The General apologized, just then the radio came on.

Diana knew something happened between Peggy and Steve Rogers, but when she heard that plane crash and saw her friends face,, she hugged the woman claiming that she never wanted her to lose Steve just like she lost hers. But in the end, they won. Peggy and Howard agreed to erase any trace of her so she wouldn't get discovered in the near future.

After the second war was won, Diana hung up her armor once again, and lived the life of Diana Prince. She had to move once every decade to keep people from asking questions about her age and how she managed to stay young. She would visit the Stark's whenever she was in the country. She attended the Wedding for Maria and Howard Stark. She was there for the birth of Anthony Stark and was requested by Howard to be the Godmother and she accepted and was one of the few people who was allowed to hold Tony, and instantly she fell in love and vowed to everything she can and protect him from the horrors that go on in men's world.

In 1991, when she first heard about Maria and Howards car accident, she was at home in London drinking some tea, then Peggy called and told her the news, the cup fell out of Diana's hand shattering as it hit the floor along with Diana who cried on the floor of her apartment. When she attended the funeral a few days later, she was standing in the distance underneath a tree in black long sleeve dress, black leggings with high heeled boots along with her long fur cape she wore during the Great War.

When it was over, and everyone was gone she approached and stood beside Tony next to their coffins, "I'm sorry Tony. Your father loved you, he just didn't know how to show it." she told him as she knew the relationship between Tony and Howard was not good. "But I will be here whenever you need me." she added as she planted a kiss onto his head as then walked away heading back to the car. When she got there, the driver opened the door as she turned and watched as Tony ran a hand over his mother's coffin and let out a smile as she got in the car.

But unknown to Tony, Howard had asked her that if anything was to happen, that she would watch over Anthony after he's gone. So for years, ever since the funeral she's been watching Tony from a distance, she knew his drinking habits and his activities with women. But, she watched him because it was his father's wish, a brother whom she had fought with. She will honor that wish. But it wasn't long before she had no choice but to reveal herself to him.

Chapter: 1

Paris, France, 2010

Diana Prince was out on her Paris apartment balcony in the early morning, enjoying some of her morning tea and watching the sunrise. She always loved watching the sun rise while she was living on Themyscira. Just thinking about her home made her heart ache, but she was forbidden to return. So she stayed in Man's world and lived the life of Diana Prince. Once every decade, she would have to move to keep the people from questioning her about her age, it's not easy telling someone that you're immortal.

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, enjoying the cool morning air, but it was cut short when her phone rang. She opened her eyes and let out a sigh as she got up and walked back into her room, she grabbed her phone off the table and saw it was Peggy, she smiled and answered the phone.

"Peggy, Good morning. How are you?" she greeted as she walked towards her closet. "Diana, turn on the news. It's Tony." was Peggy's only reply. Hearing his name, she felt her heart drop and grabbed the remote turning on the tv and switched to the news channel, she couldn't help the gasp that escaped her mouth: Tony Stark Missing during Weapon Demonstration.

"Diana, I know it won't be easy, but you're gonna have to go find him and rescue him." Peggy told her as Diana closed her eyes. She really didn't want to, but It's Tony and she made a promise to his father to always watch over him.

After taking a big breath she opens her eyes, "I'll do it Peggy. I'll bring him home." she said and then hung up. She looked at the tv for a few minutes before letting out a sigh as she walked to the side of her bed and pulled out a big rusted chest, the type you have with you during the war. She ran her hand over the Initials Wonder Woman-1918.

The last time she wore this armor was during the second world war. Before that it was during the Great War, where she lost the love of her life Steve Trevor. She looked at the vintage photo that Bruce Wayne managed to get his hands on and gave it to her. He would want her to do this, she remembered his last words: I can save today. You can save the world.

With that in mind, she opens the chest and there sits everything she needs. Her red and blue armor, her sword, her shield, her lasso of Hestia, her gauntlets, and of course her aunt's beloved head tiara. She took it all out and placed them on her bed and started to change.

After she was done, she looked in the mirror. She placed her lasso on her belt as she placed her shield and sword on her back and slid on her gauntlets. Last but not least, she put on her aunt's tiara. She was ready to go and rescue the son of a man she thought of as a brother and fulfill her duty to protect the world and Tony Stark.
