I still am baffled that I wrote 31 chapters and still am not even close to 100k words.

"Incredible. This is the true power of the Bible." Michael spoke out as he looked at the white display.

The rating game didn't end yet.

The house Atlas went in exploded, and the seal that recorded everything from six miles above them was engulfed by the fire.

It spread like water across the entire arena.

Riser was defeated. There was no doubt.

Everyone watching was quiet.

His body just laid there. Empty of all emotions. He was just staring at the ceiling. No smile, not even a single word.

His eyes empty of even cardinal sin. He stood up and left.

No one dared to follow him. He needed his time alone.

There was nothing left of her.

The spirit lost in the eternity of life, the body burned by the flames of sun God Ra.

He wanted her to become a physical being. To live a life that was taken away from her. He promised it...

He promised it!

Atlas closed his door quietly. He laid down on the bed and simply ignored everything while trying to fall asleep.

He knew it was impossible.

She was the one who pulled his consciousness into his mind. Otherwise he would never be able to sleep, it was her existence that erases his ability to sleep by himself.

Was it worth it?

All these girls around him he called his family. The sister and brother figure he saw in Sona and Genshirou. The little sister he always wished for in Ruruko and the big childish sister he actually loved, Serafall.

Was it all worth it for her life?

He loved them...

He loved...

She controlled his emotions. He gave her the permission to make him a better wielder of the Bible.

But now?

As if something has been taken away from him.

He felt empty.

Like a weight has been taken away from him.

A weight that he loved and needed...

"Your next Rating Game will be again Sairaorg's Peerage." Lucifer spoke as he congratulated Sona on the victory.

"I forfeit." She spoke, much to the surprise of everyone else. "I am in no condition to fight, with Penelope gone, Atlas is a breaking dam of emotions that would cause nuclear level of explosions, and the rest of my Peerage is just not strong enough to compete with him." Sona explained as she looked towards her Peerage, then turned her head around again because she was looking at the wrong direction.

Serafall shook her head slightly before looking at her student. "Irina, what about her eyes? Will she be able to see properly again?"

The girl shook her head. "She grew up the majority of her life with her eyes being perfect. And suddenly her vision is mirrored. The easiest thing for her would be regaining control of her hands. Legs are a different case and she might be bound to this wheelchair for another few years. But one thing I am sure of is that she will never be able to read again." The Paimon girl explained with an arm on her King's shoulder.

"How was Atlas able to slip a note inside a book and from there on seal Sona's soul into his mind?" Ajuka asked while looking at Tsubaki.

"It was me who slipped the note into the book. I want to remind you that Atlas can't write in our language. He barely can read our letters." Momo answered. She had the greatest knowledge of magic after Atlas. "For the soul sealing, that's fairly easy for him. He tested it on Tsubaki first and it failed, now every time she is asleep she lives in his mind. My seal is a bit better, but I still received Tsubaki's effect. Sona on the other hand didn't."

"How does it work? A simple seal?" Ajuka asked again with high curiosity while Momo nodded.

"A rewrite seal that took almost a month to rewrite the concept of our dreams." Of course it was rewrite magic.

Slowly Ajuka asked himself, what was Atlas capable of doing with that. Rewriting the concept of someone's personality was impossible for him, but that could be compensated by the Alphecca Tyrant. But he was able to rewrite the concept of being. He proved that often enough when he rewrote several roses into tulips.

The effects of this wouldn't last forever off course, but still having such an ability could allow him to reincarnate humans into any type of beast he wants for a short amount of time.

Atlas was a strong magician already. All he needed was the will to actually wield it.

"What about Penelope?" Sona asked while everyone stayed silent.

Irina just shook her head slightly letting Sona know that there was nothing they could do. "Atlas needs a holy spirit to take over his mind." Irina spoke out while the others disagreed. "You don't understand it. Penelope was the one who kept away his emotions. She was responsible for Atlas staying as human as possible because he himself can't. Go and take a look at him. He is nothing but a shell that hungers for murder, sex and treasures."

Was she right? Was that true? The Bible showed no records of any devil carrying a holy spirit so Atlas was the first one. "Explain Atlas." Tsubaki spoke as she looked at Irina.

"What?" The girl replied while Tsubaki shook her head.

"Explain Atlas' concept to us. Why is he like this? You are the only one with his memories and the one who can understand all that. Now help us to understand." Tsubaki spoke while Irina nodded silently.

"Fine, but don't be pissed because of what you will hear." Irina spoke out while everyone Satan took a seat and the Peerage of Sona listened closely. "Atlas was born with the curse of Eve. The intelligence that he received was the same intelligence that Eve received from the apple she ate, well it actually was a pear, but God will always deny that.

Atlas grew up as the only person in his family that wasn't twisted and completely under the influence of his own power.

His father locked him into the basement and forced him to read the Bible, thinking it might be a map to a world of treasures. Atlas did that. And like Sona, he gained a disability through that. His entire vision was nothing but numbers and letters he couldn't understand. Like a game where he sees the stats of an item, Atlas could see the name for the object. You have to understand, the only way he would be able to see is through his clan trait. Otherwise you are nothing but symbols to him. Everything is a code to him that he can rewrite and control to his will.

After adding his own commands he managed to invent the first rewrite spells and even rewrote the Bible to what it now is.

He warned you of what might happen if you read the future diaries under emotional influence. That's what happened to him. For the past six years he has been working his ass off to get to the point where he was yesterday. In a family he never had. From there on he achieved his goal and was lost like a puppy as seen in the rating games. He faced a person so weak and yet lost to her.

He knew of Raynare for months before he met her. He knew of Sona's Peerage and that they would one day see him as a family member and so he got himself killed.

Even the magic seal that called Sona was stolen from a familiar that he bummed into In the same night Issei died.

And yeah, Issei's death. Completely his plan. Slip information that an uncontrollable twice critical might go off in Kuoh. Raynare was sent and that's how she ended up here.

The plan with Katerea and Serafall. Who do you think provided the Khaos Brigade with hundreds of human low-class magicians. All so he would meet Serafall.

And how did Lint come here? It was originally only me and Xenovia, but Lint was essential for his plan in Eden. So he not only stole the Excalibur swords but also several grimoires from the church.

The dark figures in his house that caused you all to leave? A rewritten version of their souls that Atlas captured while killing his two siblings and his father." Irina finished while calmly sitting down leaving everyone's mouth hanging open. "Even the creation of me, Irina Paimon, was his plan from the beginning. And if you think he might be an egoist now, then here..." Irina threw a book on the table and leaned back. "Atlas' copy of the perfect future for him without any of you. Put some of your DNA inside and see how you would have ended up if Atlas would be enjoying the sunset on Hawaii with Penelope as his wife."

46 hours passed already. People were coming in and out, thanking him and giving him gifts.

Lucifer and his Queen, Ajuka and his hybrid cousin Latia, Serafall and Sona, Falbium...whoever that was and the rest of Sona's Peerage.

Why were they thanking him like he was a God.

Why would Lucifer, Belzeebub, Leviathan and... Oh that was Asmodeus? Why would they thank him with gifts?

He didn't do anything.

46 hours and he didn't move a centimeter. His lust and battle mania rising with every minute that passed. But there was one thing keeping him away from that.

Hope. He promised it.

He promised Irina a child.

And he promised Sona Sacred Gears. What about the promise to future Tomoe? And the promise to Kuroka and Bikou to get them out of Eden. He promised to never leave Tsubasa. And He promised Momo that he someday will love her. And the promise to Lint to make her fire resistant. Saving Sona from depression, helping Raynare with power, Reya never had any time with him, Tsubaki wanted a real date and Penelope wanted a hug. A real hug.

So many promises that he made. He couldn't leave that. He had to fulfill their promises.

After all they were the only thing he had that he could call a family.

Uhh, how he hated empathy. "Hey, Penel...op..e" His words died down in his throat as he realized that she wasn't there anymore.

"Are you alright Atlas?" Reya's soft voice made him roll his head to the side. "You have no internal injuries for some weird reasons."

"I stole Riser's Phenex immortality for a short amount of time. I am fine, it just feels like something is missing." His mind felt empty and full at the same time. He couldn't think straight nor concentrate onto something. He could barely hear his own voice by the amount of thoughts screaming in his head.

"I would be dead if you wouldn't be here. I don't know if I should thank you or call you a creep, but it was sweet of you." She said as she gave him a kiss on his lips.

"Do you love me?" Atlas asked without a single emotion in his voice.

Reya just looked surprised at him and nodded. "Since some time now." She admitted as he looked from the ceiling at her.

"Why?" A simple question.

But why did she love him? Was there a reason? No, he was an asshole. His personality was the last thing someone would love. But liking him because of his looks would make her look like the average girl. "I don't know. I just love you. I have this strong pull in my chest whenever I see you or hear your voice. You are constantly in my mind."

"Hmmm, illogical. Am I that great?" He asked himself as she smiled at him.

"You are the greatest."

"She finally confirmed it. Atlas is the true successor of our grandfather. And she confirmed that he is in possession of the scythe." A tall man with a black beard and long black hair spoke out.

A woman with dark purple hair next to him nodded. "Then we can go over into phase two. Get me her group leader, he is to secure Atlas and our spy. I don't care about losses in that matter. If he needs men for his squad he shall take them." She spoke out with a commanding tone, receiving a warming smile from the tall handsome man next to her.

"Have I ever told you that I love you Penemue?" The man spoke as he pulled her into a kiss.

"You have been asking that for the past ten thousand years. I love you too, Idris." She spoked while grabbing his arm and looking out of the window of their headquarters.

Hundreds of devils, fallen angels and angels. All collected on a field wearing the same uniform.

A large formation in a park surrounded by a giant pentagonal building.

"We did a great job with building Interpol. Not even the American CIA or the Russian Spetsnaz have that many supernaturals in their ranks." A new male voice spoke out, with a similarity to the one of Idris'.

"Hamza? You're back already?" Idris greeted his twin brother while looking at the woman behind him. "The entire time he has been, keeping your involvement a secret. I started to think you don't exist." The oldest devil of the four spoke out.

"A pleasure to meet you. Welcome to Interpol and house Paimon,

Gabriel"
