Started playing Genshin Impact, and it's epic. I think I pause playing Rainbow six and start farming for upcoming heros. Lord. So many waifus and husbandos. Venti a fucking trap.
Anyways, the Sauce: Tentsuyu
Atlas was truly amazing.
Just a second ago Asia was about to die, the next second Bikou and Kuroka fell through a portal pushing Asia out of the yellow light.
Ajuka was right on time to defeat the ancestor of the first Belzeebub, Shalba.
Everything was perfectly calculated. Except for one thing.
Raynare's betrayal...
No one saw it coming. No one thought she was just a spy. She knew exactly how to trigger his Primordial Form and how to suppress it. She even knew how to use the power for herself.
And just like that they were gone...
"This bitch!" Tsubasa yelled as she threw a glass at a wall.
Irina just continued on sitting in her seat with wide eyes, barely blinking. Her body, not moving and she herself showing no reactions.
Just like Atlas when he lost Penelope.
She did everything right.
She appeared right on time when Atlas stole the King piece of Diodorah. But everything was different. Raynare was there, Atlas had a spear in his back.
But Irina was too shocked and just proceeded with the plan like Atlas was still there.
She handed over the Peerage to Latia Astaroth, she kept on trying to conceive her daughter, she even cleaned the scythe.
She didn't even realize that she was just humping a pillow and brushing the air.
Sona saw the pain in her eyes, she saw how Irina tried to suppress it, but with every day that passed she felt weaker and weaker.
The school started again.
Tsubaki was having trouble with her sleep since Atlas was too far away for her to enter his mind and Momo was facing the same problems.
Waking up every hour because they would see nothing but darkness.
Genshirou was not himself. He saw Atlas as a brother and Raynare as a sister.
One betrayed them and kidnapped the other one.
No one was like they used to be...
"Unbelievable, he was able to use a rewrite spell on himself." Raynare spoke out as she looked through a one way mirror at Atlas, devouring a raw piece of meat.
She looked to the left to see her boss standing there, Hamza Paimon. Oldest brother of Atlas. "He is an amazing example of devils that were created by Lilith. Was a pain to poison our own mother with alcohol so she would slowly kill Atlas and then plead for a baby that Lilith granted her." The man spoke as he handed Raynare a key.
"So Atlas doesn't even know that the woman he killed is not his real mother?" The black haired woman asked while the voice of her second boss interrupted them.
"So he killed our mother. He managed to kill Arzarith Paimon. He is far more dangerous than we thought he would be." Idris spoke out while looking at his little brother carving symbols into the wall with his fingernails. "What the hell is he doing?"
"Your brother is a dyslexic. That's how he came up with Rewrite magic. He is able to see how a spell would work and then form it into a command made out of these symbols. Normal letters are nothing but a weapon for him against us." The former fallen angel explained while leaving the room.
He was asleep. Crying, smiling, growling and hissing.
Two fingers on his forehead and another one on his chest.
"I can fix his brain but you have to decide. What should he keep, his emotions or his empathy?" Gabriel asked as she looked at Idris.
"Keep his emotions. Maybe he will understand why we are doing this then." The man answered as he put a hand on the woman's shoulder.
A thousand decades...
Idris met her in the last war. One of the four great Seraphs. He managed to injure her, but spared her life.
After God's death she returned to heaven as the secret wife of Idris Paimon. She loved him.
And because no one knew of it, no one could make her fall.
Gabriel stood up and walked out of the room followed by Idris while Raynare entered it with a book in her hand. "Anything you need?" Idris asked while the woman looked at him and nodded.
"The one way mirror. Turn it off, Atlas has to see that there is no one there and this glass won't protect you from him. With his eyes in a Primordial state he was able to steal himself into another realm." Raynare explained while Idris nodded.
"Fine. But I hope you know what you are doing, we have no cameras inside here because he might use it against us. If something happens to you, we can't save you." The black haired man explained as he turned around and walked off.
His eyes slowly opened while his mind was spinning. "Good morning." Even the smallest bit of sound made him flinch from pain in his head.
He looked to the side to see a beautiful black haired woman in a black suit sitting at the table with a pair of glasses on her nose.
"Raynare..." Atlas groaned out in pain as he looked at her while his head was still hurting. "You, you work for Interpol..."
"I do...well I am more of a mercenary hired by Interpol to catch you. My job was done two days ago, but for a small amount of extra payment I was hired to inspect you and be your personal guardian in this prison." She explained while smiling at him. "Now, let's talk."
"Piss off, I don't need you." He spoke while the woman nodded.
"Alright, then that leaves me no other choice." She stood up and left the room while Atlas closed his eyes again to sleep.
A Rook and a Pawn. That's what Sona had left of Atlas and Raynare. Their pieces.
He had to come back. She sacrificed her vision for him.
He was a brother to her and Genshirou as well as to Ruruko. He was the boy that the rest of her Peerage had feelings for, except Tomoe, but even she missed him and his offensive jokes against her hair color.
In two weeks the second graders would attend a trip to Kyoto. On one hand Sona was happy he wasn't able to attend by the amount of chaos that followed him, on the other hand she was sad because everyone except for her, Tsubaki and Ruruko would attend the trip as well.
Tsubasa, Momo, Reya, Lint and Irina would be more than happy to spend their time with him in that city.
A knock on her door threw Sona out of her thoughts. Genshirou went to open it and she just heard a soothing female voice that she had never heard before.
Genshirou just led the woman inside of the apartment that belonged to her and Atlas before getting Sona in her wheelchair.
Even though her vision was mirrored, she could see the black haired woman with purple eyes perfectly.
Sona's eyes were widened by fear and her hands were shaking.
"Hello Sona, we haven't seen each other for a while now."
A key. That's all she wanted. A key to a prison door that held the most dangerous beings that Interpol has ever held.
This key was essential for her. Not only because it could save her life, but his too. "What happened?" She asked as she saw a team of doctors and guards in front of Atlas' cell.
"Diodorah Astaroth went into the cell to get information out of him after you failed. Atlas killed him the second the door closed. We can't even open the door because the last two guards that went inside are now nothing but corpses who's blood he uses as ink to write on the walls." Penemue explained as she saw blood leaking through the gap under the door.
"I see, fascinating. So his spells are not something that he just reads from his grimoire, he knows some of them by heart." Raynare spoke out while simply taking notes and walking past the former Cadre.
Idris, Hamza and Penemue were disgusted by Atlas' true self. Raynare on the other hand was fascinated by the sight.
Diodorah's body was not recognizable. The two guards were decapitated and their neck was used as ink supply while Atlas wrote with bones in both hands and his tail.
The room was covered in blood, so was his bed, the chair and the table. Everything was bloody. "Atlas, would you please sit down?" Raynare spoke out as the boy returned to his normal self and sat down on his bed while Raynare turned off the mirror and the microphone. "Leave now." She said as the two devils and the fallen angel left.
Atlas just saw the door opening and Raynare entering, sitting down on the blood covered chair and looking at him through her glasses. "Your second day awake here..." Her calm seductive voice.
He wanted to shoot his tail through her neck. He wanted to break her spine. He wanted her blood covering the walls.
But he couldn't harm her...
"How are you? Thirsty? Hungry? I can get you anything you want." The boy just closed his eyes and shook his head.
"Why? Everyone trusted you." Atlas spoke out as he looked her in the eyes.
"Why should I care. We will never see them again. Especially you. How about a deal? You tell me what I want to know and I get you what you want." She smiled at him while he chuckled.
"I am sure you can get me out of here. Hell, I am sure you know that this can't keep me. So you want to know one thing, why I didn't leave yet?" Atlas asked as he stood up and pressed his fists on the table. "I could tell you, but freedom wouldn't be even close to being acceptable as payment. But for now I will have my fun in here with you. Insulting you to the point you come home and cry." He laughed a bit as he laid down on his bed.
"Try as much as you want. You were nothing but a job to me." she spoke with a smirk. "Just tell us where the scythe is."
"You want me to wield it for you too?" Atlas asked sarcastically while Raynare shook her head. "You want it? How about a deal? I get-..."
"No deals. You don't want a deal with them and neither do I." Raynare hissed out and narrowed her eyes at him.
"Now that's the girl I like. So, why wouldn't they want a deal? A deal that everyone can profit from. A deal that will grant me what I want and them what they want." He grinned as he saw her becoming angry.
"Fufufu, a boy that can make Raynare angry without her killing him. That's the first time I saw this..." A soft female voice spoke out left of him right into his ear.
The door never opened. Yet a woman with jet black hair and blue eyes stood next to him, smiling innocently. Her soft fingers squeezing his cheeks letting him look into her direction. "Tall, handsome and young."
He felt her finger shoving his lips apart to inspect his teeth while the woman moved his head around. "Perfect teeth, and he is very clean on the outside. Drop that illusion boy. Blood makes men look like low class hooligans." As if she was controlling him.
The blood and the carvings in the wall vanished as did the blood on him. Diodorah's body as well as the ones of the two guards laid in the corner of the room frozen to death. "A man who doesn't fear getting dirty is admirable, but a dirty man is disgusting, remember that." The woman spoke out like a teacher.
She leaned up again and stood next to the table between Raynare and Atlas. Proudly like the sun. Her chest leaned forward with breasts three times smaller than Raynare's. Her face on the other hand matched her voice. Probably in her early thirties.
She was a bit taller than the female devil in the room and definitely a magician judging by the rather revealing clothes she wore.
"Where are my manners? My name is Fowaelle. Babylonian witch of the night." She extended the back of her hand towards Atlas who stood up and kissed the back of it.
"Paimon Atlas, m'lady. Please sit down, I will take a seat on my bed." The woman smiled while Raynare shook her head in embarrassment. She sat down and Atlas took a seat on his bed.
"Now, tell me lord Paimon, how would you rate Raynare as a mercenary?"
