All for One was tired, he had had a long week; he could see, after all, why someone wouldn't want a quirk that took away the necessity to sleep, he was starting to feel sluggish and his thoughts were slow, they moved in his head like fish in a pond, he could almost feel them.

He decided to give the quirk away, he knew he wouldn't be able to endure another night without sleep, so he went towards one of the poorer areas of Musutafu, hoping to find someone to force the quirk on, maybe a homeless, maybe a dying old man, maybe the first person who crossed his path if worst came to worst.

He found himself in front of an hospital, after two centuries of slaughter he almost felt when someone was dying in his proximity, or maybe it was another quirk, he honestly couldn't tell, after so much time he couldn't remember every single quirk he had, they fused more and more with each other the longer he had them.

When he got to the sliding door of the hospital he quickly changed his appearance, he couldn't let anyone recognise him, that spawn of hell, All Might, was on his tail, he was by far the strongest and most determined of his brother's successors; if only his brother had followed him, they could've been a happy family, he would've been the most amazing uncle in the world, he remembered his brother telling him about a woman he met, but the memory was so distant that it was fading away, he almost couldn't distinguish past from present, he had too many memories, most of which were getting altered from being glued onto others, creating new stories and adventures, if he was a writer he would've loved it, but he wasn't, he knew that he was living past what a normal human should by humongous margin, it was starting to get the best of him, he hoped he would succeed in changing society in a better one in next two decades or that he would die trying, either way, he didn't want live that much longer.

He entered the hospital, showing one of his fake IDs to the receptionist, it showed the name Hisashi Shigaraki. He didn't understand why things were getting more complicated each year, he felt like someone who, at the time of his teens, was defined a "boomer".

When asked the reason of his visit he responded with something more similar to a growl of a sleeping bear than to a human verbal response "To see Dr Garaki."

He gave his brain a high five, the doctor had been his subordinate for a few years now and his progress in creating nomus was outstanding, but he was so verbose that All for One tuned him out most of the times when he was talking, luckily he once briefly heard him talking about this hospital he was using as a decoy.

The receptionist quickly scurried away, yelling something about an important guest and to wait were he was, he couldn't care less; he sat in one of those blue plastic chairs in the waiting room, his head too heavy for his neck, waiting for the bald doctor to come to him, looking like he was in front of a deity, or to be guided to the man by an overly anxious receptionist, if only the young man knew who was in front of him, he would've cried blood from fear.

Getting to the doctor's office was like a dream, images fading one into the other, they all had fewer colours as they progressed, his world becoming grey, sounds fading in the background.

The doctor received him and All for One let him talk, barely paying attention, his uninterested demeanor made him look like an all-knowing being in the eyes of the doctor; All for One interrupted him, he didn't want to procrastinate any longer, his sanity was deteriorating, maybe it had never been there.

The doctor guided him to the worst case in the whole hospital, a quirk-induced tumor, nobody knew how it could've happened, a regeneration quirk, they were usually the healthiest ones, but this case was inhuman, the tumor cells had taken over the quirk, reproducing so fast the growth of the metastasis was noticeable to the naked eye, the pain otherworldly.

All for One approached the man, he whispered in his ear "Do you want the pain to go away? I can't heal you, but I can take your quirk away to let you die in peace."

the man was so depleted he couldn't even blink in response, but his gaze told All for One everything he needed to know, he placed a hand on the man's head and reached in his consciousness, he saw a faint light and pulled, the endorphins released like after drinking a glass of an old bottle of red wine.

The man started breathing slower and slower, lighter and lighter, and with the grace of a master swordsman and the timing of an atomic clock All for One gave the man the sleeping quirk the moment the man's heart had completed the last beat.

With the quirk gone All for One went out of the room, his lack of sleep getting the best of him, he had to lean on the wall, his eyes were burning, he could feel the bags under them growing, he moved a hand through his curly hair, messing them up, a nurse saw him and ran towards him, he saw her flying but he couldn't understand why, then it hit him, together with the floor, he was falling, before closing his eyes he saw an explosion of two colours: green and red, the nurses hair and lips.

In his state he didn't have control over himself and, before passing out it escaped his lips

"Green Angel…."
