A few minutes later, Raven and Apple were standing before Giles in his office as he sat at his desk.
"I don't even know what to say to both of you," said Giles as he leaned back in his chair while staring the two of them down.
"I mean, I hexpected Apple to go against destiny, but no you, Raven," said Giles.
"I'm sorry, sir, but I'm not going to change my mind," said Raven while she crossed her arms.
"And you shouldn't have to," said Millton Grimm as he entered the room.
"Grandpa!" said Raven as she hugged him.
"Good to see you too, Raven," said Millton as he hugged her back. Both of them were smiling as they did so.
"Why are you here, brother?" asked Giles who was not happy in the least to see his brother.
"Because my daughter sent me, she's also proud of Raven for standing up against that dumb book," said Miles.
"She is?" asked Raven.
"She is, you see, Grimhild has long wished someone to go against the Storybook of Legends," said Millton.
"That means the two of us are not in trouble, right?" asked Apple.
"No, you're not," said Millton with a friendly smile.
"You hear that, Apple, we're not in trouble," said Raven as she hugged Apple.
"S… sorry," said Raven as she pulled out of the hug, her face flushed slightly as she did so.
"It's alright," said Apple who was also red in the face.
"Ms. Queen, my daughter has also invited you over for dinner this Satinday," said Millton.
"Grimhild White actually invited me over for dinner?" asked a surprised Apple.
"She has, and a car will be sent to retrieve you and Raven that morning," said Milton.
"Both of you are dismissed," said Giles as the bell rang to get to class. After Apple and Raven had left.
"You saw their reactions when they hugged, right?" asked Millton while smiling. Giles just grumbled something under his breath.
