That Toadsday, Maddie was playing chess with Kitty Jester outside at the gazebo in the Enchanted Forest.
"So, are you still mad at Raven for going against her destiny?" asked Kitty as she moved a pawn.
"No, I can understand why she did it, we all should choose our paths now that I've thought about it," said Maddie before drinking some tea.
"Did you hear that she and Apple will be having dinner with her mother this weekend?" asked Kitty.
"I have heard about that, and I've also heard you wish to go against your destiny now too," said Maddie as she moved her rook.
"Well, there is a person with a wonderific birthmark who I wish to date, and my destiny does not allow it," said Kitty as she ran a finger over Maddie's hand.
"Do I happen to know this girl?" asked Maddie with a mischievous smile.
"Oh, you know her very well, princess," said Kitty before leaning over and kissing Maddie who was more than happy to kiss her back.
"Love you, my silly Jester," said Maddie with a giggle after they pulled out of the kiss. She then moved one more piece and won the game.
"Want to play again?" asked Kitty.
"How cute," said Courtly, who had been watching from a tree. She then vanished before appearing in a tree further into the Enchanted Forest.
"But not as much as these two," said Courtly as she looked at Ashlynn Beauty, daughter of Bell and The Beast, and Hunter Hood. Hunter was playing a song on his guitar while the two were sitting under their tree.
"So, what do you think?" asked Hunter as he stopped playing.
"I love when you play songs like that," said Ashlynn.
"I only play them for you," said Hunter before kissing her.
