FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S

By Felix Adler

READER'S NOTE

To all FNAF fans,

These books are not supposed to suit the real Five Nights at Freddy's storyline but they are made purely for your entertainment. Some aspects are part of the real thing but most are not. You may find some of my very own theories but these are not especially important. Some other parts of the story will be out of date in terms of FNAF lore because it's near impossible to be able to update every single thing to the current proven theory. If you want to read my other books their titles are:

"Five Nights At Freddy's 2"

"Five Nights At Freddy's 3"

"Five Nights At Candy's"

"Five Nights At Fredbear's"

"Sister Location"

"Fazbear"

I have not included FNAF 4, FNAF World or FNAF 6 in this series because I believe they lack the ability to tell a good story. There will be info which could have been gained from them in my other stories instead and I have created my own animatronics as well for one of the books in the series.

Enjoy,

Felix Adler

PROLOGUE

My name is Mike Schmidt. You may find my tale slightly disturbing, but it is the truth. So get used to it.

It all started when I was reading the newspaper, looking for a job. I was only 23 at the time, so it was to be my first full-time occupation. I noticed a little box in the corner of the page. It read: "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, local restaurant looking for new night-guard. This pizzeria is owned by Fazbear Entertainment, est. 1945. The shift is from 12am to 6am. The company is not responsible for any damage or death to the employee. If animatronics are tampered with, there will be no fine; but the employee will be dismissed. The first night is February 14."

That was Saturday. I quickly phoned my dad and sister to say that I was going for a new job. Also, I asked my dad, as he was a mechanic, what an animatronic was. "Oh no, son. You're not getting a job at Candy's Burgers and Fries, are you?"

"No, I'm going to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza."

"Oh, that's fine then. Anyway, an animatronic is an animal-based robot. Fazbear Entertainment uses them to entertain the kids at their restaurant locations."

"Thanks for the info Dad."

"Any time."

I hung up. Those animatronics sounded weird, but I was sure it was nothing to worry about. How wrong I was.

NIGHT 1

I arrived at the restaurant at 11:57. When I came to the place a few days ago, this man gave me the job immediately. He showed me the electronic door to the left and another to the right doorway in the security office. There was a light for each doorway too. He gave me a tablet and told me about each room. Then he told me he would leave a recorded message for me when I started my shift.

So there I was, checking the cameras to see what was happening. There were four main animatronics, three on the show stage. There was Freddy, the main character, who was a bear with a black bow tie, blue eyes and a black top hat. The second character was Bonnie, a purple bunny. He had a red bow tie and purple eyes. Then there was Chica the duck, who wore a bib reading the words "Let's Eat!" The bib surrounded the words in confetti. She had pink eyes and also held a cupcake with two pink eyes on a plate. There was another copy of this on my desk in the security office. The fourth animatronic was called Foxy, but I didn't know what he looked like, as he was on a different stage to the rest. That stage had purple curtains with stars on covering it and there was a sign in front which said "OUT OF ORDER". Weird.

I found the recorded message on the phone at 12am. I was switching through the cameras at the time. "Hello? Hello? Hi there! Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a fun place for kids all sizes. As you will most probably know, you have taken the night guard shift." This was a different voice to the person I had met a few days ago. "I took that shift before you, but now I have been moved to the day shift. Now, the animatronics can sometimes… move."

My heart skipped a beat. I paused the recording and checked the show stage. Luckily, all three animatronics were still there. I played the message again. "But to be honest, I can't blame them. If I was stuck on a stage all day for twenty years, I would get twitchy at times. Anyway, it should have been explained to you earlier that there are automatic doors and flashlights to either side of you. Also, if the animatronics are right outside your door, that's a blind spot for the cameras. That means the only way you can see them is by using the flashlight to either side of the doors. Just one more thing; there's limited power, as our generator isn't top quality. This means you'll have to conserve power if you're gonna get through the night. I hope this message has helped you. G'night." The recording ended.

I checked the show stage. Freddy and Chica were there. Bonnie was gone. I frantically flicked through the cameras, eventually finding him backstage. All I could see were his black outline with tinges of purple, and bright white pupils. He was staring straight into the camera. This was pretty freaky.

The backstage had a bunch of robot heads (apparently called endoskeleton heads) and masks for Bonnie, Chica and Freddy. One of the masks was also looking at the camera. I decided to put the cameras down to conserve the power, and checked both doors. Nothing. I found Bonnie had moved to the dining area. It looked like he was walking in between the tables, then just froze, his eyes looking at the show stage. When I checked the stage, Freddy and Chica were still there. I checked Pirate's Cove, Foxy's stage, and the purple curtains were still shut. If I had known that this job would be like this, I would never have taken it.

Bonnie had moved down to the west hall, and Chica was in the dining area. Her head was tilted and her mouth was open. I was starting to realise why it said "Let's Eat!" on her bib. I could just see Bonnie's ears at the bottom of the camera screen. He was slowly but steadily closing in on me.

4am. Chica was in the west hall and Bonnie was in the supply closet, the closest room to my left door. Suddenly the camera showed static, and when it was normal again, he was gone. I found him again in the west hall corner. He would appear by my door at any moment. Chica had moved from the west hall to the restrooms, her head twitching more violently the closer she got to me. I was scared out of my mind. I checked the left doorway. Bonnie was there, with his friendly yet deadly face staring right at me; he was almost waving. I quickly shut the door, breathing faster than I have ever breathed before. I shone the light on the window next to the door. I could see his shadow there, waiting for me to open the door again. This was the scariest moment of my life, and if I didn't survive it, then it would most probably be the last.

I wish my brother Bill was here. He's good at this stuff, and he's signed up for a job at a different location too. Unfortunately, he's in Greece and won't be back for a week so that makes it impossible.

I'm an orphan. My dad adopted me at the unusual age of nine, so I had done plenty of things before then. I remember going to a pizzeria from 4-8 years old, but only vaguely. I feel some sort of connection with these animatronics, especially Freddy and Bonnie, like I had seen them before. There was a key waiting to be found. And I was there to find it.

It's 5am and Bonnie has finally left. I checked the right door and Chica was leaning against the window, her mouth wider open than I had ever seen. I shut the right door and opened the left. 21% battery power left. I've conserved pretty well. Freddy was still on stage (does he ever move?) and the curtains were still shut at Pirate's Cove. I checked the right door for Chica. Seeing she had left, I opened the door. I knew that this nightmare would soon be over.

6am! I didn't believe it! It was actually 6am! I sped out of the security office and ran all the way home. But at the back of my head, I knew that the nightmare had only just begun.

NIGHT 2

I arrived at the security office, passing the animatronics as I slowly walked by. I sat down in my chair, and had a drink from the milkshake I bought before I came in and had a slice of Domino's pizza. I know, not the healthiest diet, but that was the least of my worries. The grandfather clock in the kitchen struck twelve. I checked the show stage. Bonnie was gone, but Chica and Freddy were still there. I found Bonnie backstage.

I checked Pirate's Cove. The curtains were slightly open and I saw Foxy's head peeking out. As you may have guessed, he was a fox. He was red, but there were holes in his animatronic suit, showing endoskeleton parts. He had an eyepatch on his right eye, but it was flicked up revealing his second eye. His mouth was slightly open, revealing his sharp fangs hanging out. This was most certainly the scariest animatronic of the four.

I froze, staring at him for a couple of seconds. Then I remembered about conserving power, so I put the cameras down. Bonnie was at the supply closet already, looking his shifty self and Chica was at the restrooms (was she incontinent or something?). Her mouth slowly widening as usual. Freddy never seemed to move, but I checked the show stage just in case.

And he was there. But his head was turned towards the camera, his hands up level with his ears, the centre of his face was dark, but I could still make out the bright white pupils, just like Bonnie when he was backstage.

So Freddy can move. I put down the cameras in wonder and checked both doors. Bonnie was at my left, so I hit the shut button on the door. Chica hadn't arrived at my right door yet. I felt like I was forgetting something. Of course! The phone message. I pressed play on the recorder. "Congratulations! You made through the first night. Now, you may find that the next night is a little harder. There will also be this guy called Foxy. He's a pirate fox animatronic. He will run down your west hall, so you better shut it quick if you see he's left Pirate's Cove. He'll knock three times on your door when he gets there. If you check him often though, it'll take him longer to move. Apart from that, it's the usual. Try to survive the night."

The recording finished. So Foxy was due tonight. I checked Pirate's Cove, he had come off the stage and was standing outside, his hook raised. His head was bent completely horizontal, showing his teeth even more than before.

I put down the cameras and checked the time. 3:30am. Bonnie had left, so I opened his door. Chica had arrived at the right door, so I shut her out. I had 30% power left. It had gone down quicker than last night.

I checked Pirate's Cove again. Foxy was gone. I shut the left door, listening to what the guy on the phone (or Phone Guy as I liked to call him) said. I then checked west hall. I saw Foxy run right down the west hall, scratching his hook against the wall and his eyepatch over his second eye. When I put down the cameras, I heard three knocks on the left door. I then opened it again and checked the open doorway. I caught Bonnie, just about to come into the office. I quickly shut the door again just in time. Next time Foxy comes I think I'll check before I open the door.

4:30am and Chica had left the right door, so I opened it. It all seemed a most horrific way to put someone's life in danger. The guy who gave me the job looked a bit dodgy. I mean, he was completely purple. He was the Purple Guy.

4:30 to 5:30 am were pretty uneventful, so let's skip to 5:40. I was nearly out of power. I watched it go down. Everything was deafeningly silent. 3%. 2%. 1%. 0. Darkness fell. Then I heard a tune, possibly by Beethoven or Mozart. I saw Freddy's face glowing in the left doorway. I was so scared I could scarcely move. I stared at him. How different he was in the day than in the night. Entertaining children then killing the nightguard. Everything went black. Suddenly, the grandfather clock struck 6. The lights turned back on. Freddy was frozen in his about-to-jump position. I sat in thought. Then ran for my life. "See you tomorrow, Freddy."

NIGHT 3

I was somewhat happier than usual. I had got through two nights, so surely the third would be a breeze. I skipped into the security office, waiting for the clock to strike twelve. But it didn't come. The Purple Guy had told me the limited power only started at 12:00, so I checked the kitchen camera. "CAMERA DISABLED. AUDIO ONLY." It read across the screen. Apart from that, it just showed static. I knew it was stupid, but I had to walk into the kitchen, unarmed, and fix the grandfather clock. Without it, I couldn't tell when it was 6am.

I quietly snuck out of the security office. The east hall was clear. I crept past the restrooms. Still no one. I went into the kitchen and saw the grandfather clock at the back of the room. The chime had been blocked with a brick. Someone had done this on purpose. Someone had laid bait, waiting for me to bite it. And I had. I glanced from left to right, seeing nothing and no one. I went towards the clock and removed the brick. I turned around. Still no one there. Suddenly, the clock right behind me chimed for 1am. I jumped, then realised it was working again. With a sigh of relief, I slowly exited the kitchen and walked back to the security office, trying to be calm. I was just about to walk in, when I saw him.

Bonnie was sitting at the security desk, checking the cameras. He then turned to face me. "W-W-Why hello, M-M-Mike". He said, in a cracked deep voice. He could talk. Bonnie could talk, and he also knew my name. "I-I-I have b-been wai-waiting for you."

He rose from the chair and slowly walked towards me. I dashed out of the right doorway, being stopped by Chica. I turned around. Bonnie's mouth was opening wider and wider, showing his blunt but tough teeth. I pushed past him. They were coming after me. I hid behind the west hall corner. I saw them walk past and up the west hall. I waited impatiently until they had turned the corner, then ran back into the security office. Breathing in and out, blood was rushing through my body, I tried to calm myself. I decided to look at the cameras.

Freddy was on the show stage, Bonnie was in the west hall and I couldn't find Chica. When I put down the cameras I heard a sound like someone rattling pots and pans. It must have been Chica. That's what the camera screen for the kitchen meant by audio only. Well that just made things more complicated.

2:30am. 61% power left. I played Phone Guy's message. "Hey, welcome to your third night. Now, I don't think I've told you before, but there's a reason those animatronics want to get you. What I'm supposed to say to you is that they think you're an endoskeleton without a suit. So they put you into one. But that's not the real reason. It's because of your uniform. You're wearing purple. The animatronics have children's soul's inside of them. And those souls want revenge." Purple Guy. He's tricked me and used me as bait. "The real Purple Guy is the person who stuffed these souls into those suits. Be careful out there. Goodbye."

The recording ended. These animatronics weren't evil. They were vengeful. I felt pity on them. Until Bonnie came to the door. "W-W-Won't you let me back in?" he said. "No way." But at the back of my head I wanted to let him in, to see what was inside that suit. When I checked the left window I could still see his shadow. I flicked on the cameras. I checked the east hall corner for the first time, and I saw Chica. Her head was constantly twitching, you could even call it spasmodic, next to a poster of Freddy which said "CELEBRATE!" on it. I remembered about checking Foxy, so I switched the camera to Pirate's Cove. Foxy was at stage 2, peeking out from the curtains. I put down the cameras and checked if Bonnie had left. He had, so I opened the door. Chica had appeared at the window on my right. But, to her disappointment, she wasn't coming in.

It was 4:30am. I was on 32% power. I checked Pirate's Cove, seeing Foxy had left. I put the cameras down, shut the left door and looked at the west hall. I watched him run down. Then there were the three knocks. But as I heard the three knocks, I saw my power go down 3% each time. He wasn't trying to get in (although I'm sure he would if he could), he was trying to run down my power, so I would have a blackout. The only way to stop that from happening was by checking him a lot, so he wouldn't leave Pirate's Cove. Either way, I would run low on power. This was more complex than I thought.

5:30. 18% power left. That should be enough for me to get through the night. I closed both doors and waited in silence. I could hear the clanking of footsteps, getting quieter and quieter. Had they given up? Was I free for the rest of the night? I checked the flashlights before I opened the doors. I checked all of the cameras. I couldn't find any of them. The grandfather clock struck 6:00am. I walked outside of the security office. There was no one. Anywhere. The restaurant was deserted. I decided I would investigate the following night.

NIGHT 4

I walked into the security office yet again. The first thing I did was play the phone message. "Hello again. You've made it to the fourth night. Now, I might not be here tomorrow, for reasons which I don't need to bother you with right now. You've probably gathered that this phone message is made between the end of your last shift and the shift you're doing now." There was a banging noise on a door on the phone. Was that the animatronics? "By the time you've finished the 6th night, you'll have to be the guide for the next night guard at a different location." There was more banging. What was the 6th night? "I was told to inform you that you'll have to do a 6th night if you're gonna get your pay cheque... Oh no. The door's given way." There was a moaning noise, which sounded a bit like Chica. This was where the animatronics had gone last night. "Oh no. I should never have told him the truth about you." There was a robotic roar and the recording ended.

I quickly decided that when I was the Phone Guy, I would never tell the night guard the truth about the animatronics. When I put up the cameras, Bonnie and Chica had already left the show stage. Freddy had gone to his hands up position. Foxy was at stage 2 at Pirate's Cove. I turned off the cameras. Suddenly, a version of Bonnie flashed before my eyes. It was the same mask, but he had no eyes. There were pitch black eye sockets instead.

After a few seconds, the hallucination disappeared. It was the first time I had ever seen something that wasn't actually there.

I checked the time and battery power. 1:30am. 74% battery power left. Foxy had moved to stage 3. Bonnie had arrived at my door. "H-H-Hey again M-M-Mike. M-Miss me?" "No way." Chica was at the west hall. I could only just see her shadow. It was barely visible within the surrounding darkness.

I checked Pirate's Cove. Foxy was gone. But instead of the sign in front saying Out Of Order, it read "IT'S ME" in black paint. I stared at it, before realising what I had to do for Foxy. I shut the left door and checked the west hall. I watched him run down with his hook against the wall. I checked the left door after Foxy's knocks came, but Bonnie was there so I left the door shut. Chica had arrived at the kitchen; I heard the rattling of pots and pans as I did last night.

But when I checked the show stage, Freddy was gone. I panicked. He wasn't supposed to move. I checked the dining area. At first sight, it looked like there was nothing there. But when I looked closer, I could see two bright white pupils hiding in the shadowy corner.

Suddenly the phone message started playing again. "Fred-Fred-Freddy… he moves… never… comes… to door…" Then there was a stabbing sound and everything went silent.

Freddy had left the dining area. I couldn't find him anywhere. Then I heard some sort of tune. It must have been him in the kitchen. I opened the left door, realising Bonnie had left. Chica had arrived at my right. "PIZZA!" she exclaimed. I jumped, not knowing that she had a voice that loud. "PIZZA!" It was quite annoying. "PIZZA!" "Go away, will you?" "PIZZA!" I gave up and started looking at the cameras again. Freddy had moved to the east hall corner. It was similar to his hands up position on the show stage, but this time his hands were down. It looked like he was almost leaning into the camera screen.

I remembered the last words on the phone message and, although Chica had left, I kept the door shut in case Freddy came. Foxy was back at stage 2 and Bonnie was in the west hall. Suddenly, there was a loud "PIZZA!" and I leapt out of my chair and ran out of the security office; it was my natural reaction. When I realised that I was now in the east hall staring at Chica, with Freddy behind her, I let out a small cry. Chica's head slowly tilted to the left and her beak grew wider. Freddy walked up to me, his looming presence felt intimidating. Chica started to moan, the same moan she had made when she was with the Phone Guy. Freddy screamed. It was a deafening, high-pitched scream. It was robotic, yet it had a semblance of human voice. I fell to the floor, sweating like mad. I attempted to get up, but every time I tried Freddy jumped at me and I fell back down on the black and white tiled floor. Chica's moan got louder. I crawled backwards, scrambled up onto my feet and sprinted for the backstage. It seemed the safest place at the time. When I got there, everything seemed more real than it did on the cameras. I heard Freddy's footsteps coming closer.

I passed a spare Freddy suit in the corner. It looked exactly the same as Freddy, but just yellow. It looked empty, but I didn't dare go inside it. Instead, I hid behind it. Freddy and Chica came in. Freddy slowly turned from left to right, looking for his victim. He came closer and closer to the suit. "Goldie." When I heard the words, it didn't look like they came from his mouth. Just words coming from nowhere. The words sounded completely human; no robot could ever have said it. Then Freddy pushed aside the suit. "Pizza?" said Chica in a questioning tone, raising an eyebrow. Freddy nodded at her, then turned back to me. 6:00 am struck. The animatronics froze. I waited for a couple of seconds, then departed from the pizzeria.

NIGHT 5

I sprinted into the security office, looking at nobody and nothing. I turned on the cameras the second the grandfather clock struck twelve. Foxy was at stage 2 and Bonnie had left the show stage. Then a face appeared in front of me. It was Freddy with his eyes wide open, an almost surprised face. In front of his face I saw the letters "IT'S ME". It's who? Surprised at such a quick start to the night, I put up the cameras again after the hallucination had disappeared. Bonnie was at the supply closet and Chica was in the restrooms. Foxy was at stage 3. I needed to check him more often if I didn't want him to come to my door.

The clock struck 1am. 68% power left. Freddy was in the kitchen. He was doing his familiar song. I played the phone recorder, just to check if there was any message left by anyone. And there was. "Hello. This is Freddy. I am your phone guy. Tonight is harder. We will get you. You will serve as Him." The recording ended. At least Freddy made his messages short and snappy.

Who was Him? I hadn't the faintest idea. Deciding to forget about the matter at that time, I put up the cameras. Foxy had left Pirate's Cove. I shut the left door and waited for the three knocks. I opened the left doorway. Then I heard some sort of laugh. It was a deep, slow laugh which echoed around the whole building. It must have been Freddy, Bonnie and Chica had different voices to it. "Hur. Hur hur." It would have creeped anybody out. "PIZZA!" That completely ended the atmospheric silence. "PIZZA!" "Will you just SHUT UP?" "PIZZA!" Chica said, shaking her head. Foxy suddenly leaned into my left open doorway, just after I had shut the right. "Yar! I be F-F-Foxy the pi-pi-pirate! Stay ou-out of the w-way of me h-hook!"Then his bottom jaw came loose it swung from left to right. He made a groaning noise, as if he was in extreme pain. "W-Where am I?" he then said, in a little boy's voice. Then the groaning noise came again. "Do y-ye kids like me eye-eye-eyepatch?" It was back to his normal tone. What had just happened? It seemed like Foxy's soul had taken over the suit for a second. His eye then turned towards me. He narrowed his eyes. "You put me in this misery! You'll pay for this!" he shouted at me. I shut the door, not willing to find out what he meant. There were lots of knocks on my door and when I shone the flashlight on the left window, there was a hole in it. Foxy's hook slashed through the window. I saw his bottom jaw poking through. "I'll get you! Let's see how you like being put in a suit, you piece of purple crap!" he cried. "See how you like being provoked to bite someone's head! Rejected, torn apart, disposed of! I WILL KILL YOU!"

He sped back up the west hall. I saw him tear his curtains apart, then stare at the camera. He slashed the screen with his hook, then the camera showed static. I was stunned, amazed by Foxy's reaction upon seeing me. When I checked each camera I saw him tearing the restaurant apart. Tables were upturned and cameras were torn down. Both my doors were shut. Both Bonnie and Chica were by those doors. Freddy was by the east hall corner. I was going nowhere.

Bonnie and Chica had finally left. I couldn't look at any cameras anymore; Foxy had destroyed them all. It was 5am. 10% power left. I opened the left door. There was still the hole in the left window from Foxy's hook. Suddenly a purple robotic hand smashed through the rest of the window. Bonnie stuck his head through and smiled at me. "H-H-Hello. I see y-y-you have made it to the f-f-fifth night." He chuckled to himself, then walked off. Then there was Freddy's laugh again. "Hur hur. Hur hur hur." The night was getting creepier than I had ever thought it would.

I opened the left door and I looked at my battery power. 0%. Oh no. Everything went black until Freddy's face appeared by the left door. I wasn't sitting through this again. I jumped up and ran through the right door. Chica was waiting for me in the east hall. I could only just see her in the blackness. I ducked under her legs and carried on running towards the backstage area. When I got there the yellow Freddy was gone. There was a note on the floor. It said: "HE is here." I heard behind me: "HE has arrived." I saw Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy all standing in the doorway. "We will let you live tonight Mike. But tomorrow will be your nightmare." The grandfather clock struck six. The lights turned back on. I had completed the five nights. But now it was time for the sixth. The key had still not been found.

NIGHT 6

I opened the double glass doors to Freddy Fazbear's was a sign on the wall. I had arrived half an hour late; there was really bad traffic out there. On the wall in the reception there was a sign. It said "CLOSED. UNKNOWN ATTACK OF LOCATION. AFTER NIGHT 6 NIGHT GUARD WILL BE FIRED FOR BLAME OF INCIDENT." That was completely unfair. It was Foxy who had caused all of the damage. Then I realised. As I had come in late, the animatronics were now active. Luckily I had brought my own flashlight with me tonight. I didn't want to waste power after what happened last night.

I cast the torch from side to side. No animatronic was in sight. I made haste and walked towards the security office. When I got there, both doors were shut. There was a hole in the window. It was obvious one of the robots had done this. It seemed like I was going to have to spend the night without the security office. As I walked back to the reception. I saw Foxy's head peeking out of Pirate's Cove. His one visible eye followed me wherever I went. As I walked through the dining area I stared right back at him. I bumped into something and jumped. It was only a dining table. But when I looked back at those purple curtains I saw he was gone.

I walked up to the show stage. There was no one there. I walked on the oak plank stage and went behind the red, pulled back curtains and walked backstage. It was dark, so I needed my flashlight to see inside the room. And there was Freddy, waiting for me.

He narrowed his eyes at me. I slowly backed away, feeling slightly woozy from all the stress. The yellow Freddy suit was still gone. It made me wonder if it could actually move. "I take pity on you, Mike. You had hope. It shall now be crushed. I am the one who knows you are not the murderer. But I need you for Him. So I shall have you serve as Him. Sooner or now."

I turned and ran back into the dining area. I didn't have time to think about what to do next. I needed to stay away from Freddy. I had options. I could go down the west hall. That meant I could also go to the supply closet. I could go to the east hall. Going there meant I could go to the kitchen and restrooms too. I could go to the reception. It would be a dead end; the doors automatically locked themselves until 6:00am. The last option was to hide under a table in the dining area. This was clearly the worst idea.

I ran down the east hall and into the restrooms, then hid in a cubicle at the end of the room. I turned off my flashlight and tried to go to sleep until 6. Suddenly I heard a noise. "PIZZA!" Oh no. Not Chica.

I heard the footsteps coming closer. The door to the cubicle next to me was flung off its hinges. There came a growling noise from Chica's beak. She moved to my cubicle. I saw her thick, metal fingers appear from the bottom of the door. She ripped it into the air and glared at me. Her beak opened wide as usual and she made a groaning noise of doom. Suddenly, there was a chopping sound from behind her.

Her head fell to the ground. Then her body collapsed. Behind her there was the man in purple who had given me the job. "You hide too much." he whispered to himself. "And now you must pay the price."

He looked up at me. "Mike Schmidt, is it?" "Yes sir." I replied. "How much do you know."

"Ermm…"

"No answer. Mmm. You know more than I thought you did. Have you heard all of the messages from Joe?"

"Who's Joe?"

"The guy on the phone."

"Oh. Yes sir, I have."

"Then you know too much. You'll have to go too." He raised his axe. I leapt at him, knocking him to the ground. I ran out of the restrooms and into the dining area again. Foxy was waiting for me. "Found ya, matey." he said in his pirate voice. I backed away and ran down the west hall. I entered the supply closet, then realised this room had been taken by Bonnie. "How are y-y-you doing, Mike? You s-seem tense." He said in a serious voice. Chica was dead. Freddy was after me. Foxy was after me. Bonnie was after me. Purple Guy was after me. How could this get any worse.

As I ran back into the dining area, Foxy's hook caught my shirt. "You're not going anywhere this time laddy." I squirmed about like a child, as if Foxy was being my parent. I still saw the loose lower jaw. Just as Foxy was about to bite me, I saw Purple Guy had appeared behind him. Foxy noticed where I was looking and turned too. "You?" He looked back at me. "There's two of you?" He raised a metallic eyebrow. He dropped me onto the floor and I scarpered. When I was out of sight in the kitchen, I heard a smashing noise and a shout. 2 down. 2 to go.

I ran into Pirate's Cove as it seemed the safest place to go. I didn't want to see Chica's body in the restrooms, Purple Guy was in the dining area, Bonnie was in the supply closet and Freddy was in the backstage. I waited behind the curtains and checked my watch which I had brought tonight. 3am. Power didn't matter anymore. I turned around to observe the size of the stage when I saw the same yellow suit as there had been in the backstage on night 3. Except this time, it had the same bright white pupils as all the other animatronics. I had presumed that these were the eyes of the souls. As the suit stared at me I shivered. His presence sent a cold feeling down my back. But when I blinked, it had disappeared.

When I hopped down from Foxy's stage I saw Bonnie lying on the floor, his head separate from the rest of his body. Foxy's body was gone. From the hole where Bonnie's head used to be, I saw a little boy's leg with his trainer still on. I felt like throwing up. That was how the souls were in there then. But then I realised something else. Freddy was the last animatronic to ever walk Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

When I walked along the wall of the dining area, I looked at a few posters on the wall. Some were just pictures of the different animatronics, but one poster was different. It read: "New location for Freddy Fazbear's Pizza! New and improved toy animatronics! Opening next week!" This must have been the location Bill had signed up for in his night guard application. It seemed like I was going to be my brother's Phone Guy.

I was just about to walk to the kitchen when Freddy came out of nowhere and stopped me. "Purple Guy is after us. I am willing to work with you. If you accept this, you shall not be Him." I was surprised at Freddy's desperation; his character normally seemed so confident. But I nodded to confirm the deal, and we hid behind the curtains on the show stage. "Come out, come out wherever you are!" came a voice from the dining area. I tensed. It was 5am. Just one more hour and I never had to do any of this again.

Purple Guy found us. He executed Freddy with his bloody axe. The bear's head fell to the ground. Although all the animatronics had tried to kill me, I felt sorry for them. I had completely misunderstood them. It was like Purple Guy was killing children. Twice.

Just as he came over to me, the grandfather clock struck 6am. But this man was no animatronic. Just as he was about to swipe at me with his axe, he thought for a moment. Then he glanced up at me. "You'll come in useful later," he said with a mischievous grin. Then walked out of the restaurant.

EPILOGUE

After I had finished my week of work, my dad explained the family's history with Fazbear Entertainment. "So I worked at Fredbear's Family Diner before you lot were born and your sister here worked at Candy's Burgers and Fries a couple of years ago. You were on holiday at the time, so I didn't bother to tell you."

"No, that's fine."

"You said there was a Purple Guy?"

"Yes; he was trying to kill all of the animatronics. And he succeeded."

"When I was working at Fredbear's, there was a guy who owned the place called William. In the day he wore in a golden Freddy suit to entertain the kids on stage. He always said Purple was his favourite colour at the time and he got purple tattoos just before I finished working there."

"There was a golden Freddy suit which I found in Pirate's Cove."

"Really? Hey, I'm getting tired. Let's finish discussing this tomorrow."

"Okay. Goodnight."

"Night, Mike." My dad went upstairs. I followed after him. When I got into my bed, I heard thunder outside. When a bolt of lightning struck, I could have sworn I saw a glimpse of a fox with an eyepatch outside my window. They weren't done with me yet.

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S 2

By Felix Adler

READER'S NOTE

To all FNAF fans,

These books are not supposed to suit the real Five Nights at Freddy's storyline but they are made purely for your entertainment. Some aspects are part of the real thing but most are not. You may find some of my very own theories but these are not especially important. Some other parts of the story will be out of date in terms of FNAF lore because it's near impossible to be able to update every single thing to the current proven theory

If you want to read my other books their titles are:

"Five Nights At Freddy's"

"Five Nights At Freddy's 3"

"Five Nights At Candy's"

"Five Nights At Fredbear's"

"Sister Location"

"Fazbear"

I have not included FNAF 4, FNAF World or FNAF 6 in this series because I believe they lack the ability to tell a good story. There will be info which could have been gained from them in my other stories instead and I have created my own animatronics as well for one of the books in the series.

Best Regards,

Felix Adler

PROLOGUE

I had arrived home to my dad, brother and sister. Unfortunately, my mum died in a car accident a few years ago. My brother Mike had finished his job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza's first location and I was working the night guard shift at the second restaurant. This time there were different animatronics. New and improved. I'm Bill. This is my story.

Animatronics are animal-based robots. Basically think of a robotic skeleton. Then add on a specifically designed metal head and body (or a suit). Each suit will represent a different animal. The animatronics for the previous location had mysteriously disappeared; Mike and Dad wouldn't say anything on the subject. But the new ones are different. They're called the toy animatronics. I've done some research on the pizzeria so I've gathered some basic information. There's Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Toy Foxy, Marionette and Balloon Boy. I'll have six nights to do if I want to get my extra money, otherwise it's five. 12 'til 6am.

You could call it Five Nights At Freddy's.

NIGHT 1

I arrived at my desk at roughly 12:00am. Midnight. Mike told me there would be a phone message for me when I got there. I saw the recorder on the desk. I pressed play. "Hey Bill! It's Mike here." My brother was my guide? That must have been why he was hiding stuff from me. "As you already know, you're the night guard here. Now, I've been informed on how everything works here. You have your security cameras for each room. At night, the animatronics are kind of put to a 'free will' setting. It means that they'll wander around." I gasped. That was unsafe. They could get sued. "But I'm sure it'll be fine. Your light for the tunnel is in front of you and the two vents to either side of you will help you look around. The animatronics will think you're a robotic skeleton, or endoskeleton, without a suit. This means that they'll try and put you into one."

Mike felt bad for lying to his brother, but it was for his own good.

I cringed at the thought of being stuffed into a suit. I would most certainly die in the process. I checked the show stage, where the main animatronics entertained the kids during the day, and all three were still there. "The way to stop them from stuffing you is to put on your Freddy Fazbear mask. You should find that on your desk." I did. "If you put the mask on then the animatronic in your office will think you're one of them, therefore they will leave you alone. This is the case for most animatronics, but not all. There's one called Marionette." I remembered this was the one whose suit was a puppet. "You'll have to wind up the music box on the Prize Corner screen to keep him away. He hates the music." I then discovered the music box was linked to the cameras. "Also, the other employees like to call Toy Foxy "Mangle", because she's always dismantled in the play area. The kids love to dismantle and rebuild her. One more thing. You have 4 bars battery life on the cameras. That'll decrease the more you use your lights. When you lose your battery life, you can't use your lights anymore. Anyway, that should be enough information for your first night. Bye." Mike's recording ended.

When I checked the show stage again Toy Bonnie had wandered off. I looked through the different cameras, finally finding him at Party Room 3. There were 4 party rooms, probably in case more than one child had a birthday on the same day. Toy Chica and Toy Freddy were still on stage. I wound up the music box. The prize corner was a small room. It had little plush toys of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy on shelves and there was a large blue box with purple ribbon in the centre. There was a poster next to the box with the four animatronics on it. The Marionette must have been in the blue box.

Toy Bonnie had left Party Room 3. I looked through the different cameras, eventually finding him again in Party Room 4. You may be wondering why I felt so calm. One of the reasons was that Mike had been through all of this already. So why couldn't I? The other reason was that I couldn't really die. If I have everything I need to keep the animatronics away, there's no reason for me to be stuffed… Is there?

Toy Chica was in the main hall. Her beak was gone, revealing a black, smiling mouth. Her normal eyes were gone too. I could see white dots in the centre of the empty sockets. Toy Bonnie was in Party Room 2. Toy Freddy was in the Game Area with Balloon Boy. I was starting to stress. I had no idea what they would do next. I wound up the music box, then put down the cameras. I looked at the time. 5am. The first night was nearly over. I shone my light on the right air vent in my office. Toy Bonnie's head was peeking out, staring right at me. I stared right back at him, before remembering about the Freddy mask. I put it on. The lights flickered. Bonnie moved across the security office, coming right up to me. Was the mask not working? The lights went completely off, then back on again. It didn't look like anyone was there. I took off the mask, almost expecting Toy Bonnie to jump out and kill me, but there wasn't anyone there.

I thought about not doing a second night but I had to carry on. If I didn't complete these 6 nights, then I would always have the nightmare of the animatronics beating me. I would be defeated, haunted by them for the rest of my life. I couldn't face that. I had to complete all of the nights.

I checked the left air vent. This time Toy Chica was poking her head through. I put the mask on again. The lights flickered. I heard a clanking noise; it must have been Toy Chica crawling back through the vents. When I took the mask off again, I was alone.

I was looking through the cameras when I remembered something. The music box. I went onto the Prize Corner camera and the big blue box was open. The Marionette had left.

There was "Pop Goes the Weasel" playing in the background. I didn't know what to do. I just waited for him to come. I was silent, watching the dark tunnel ahead of me. I had realised on the cameras that the animatronics never let me see them move. Maybe if I just watched the tunnel then Marionette would never come. I sat there uncomfortably, behind my desk, waiting. Waiting. Waiting. 6am struck. I heard the sound of the animatronics powering down. I walked out of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The battle had only just started.

NIGHT 2

I walked into the restaurant. I hadn't seen Mike last night. Neither had my dad or sister. It was as if he had just disappeared.

When I got into the security room, the clock on the wall struck midnight. I played Mike's phone message. "Hey, Bill. Sorry you didn't get to see me last night. I was just somewhere else. Don't worry, I'm fine. Anyway, some more animatronics will become active tonight. There's Balloon Boy, he's this robot holding balloons in the Game Area." I had seen images of him on the internet already. "There's also this old Foxy animatronic. He was going to be used for parts for other robots, but in the end they just left him in the Parts and Service room along with Old Freddy, Old Bonnie and Old Chica. Old Foxy will only ever come to the tunnel. He can see right through the mask, but the flashlight will get rid of him. Toy Foxy will also start to move too. I think that's it. Night." His recording finished.

I shone the light on the tunnel and Old Foxy was there already. I flashed the light a few times and soon he was gone. There was a new member of the murder gang.

I searched through the cameras, looking for anything out of place. I saw Balloon Boy in the Game Area and Mangle in Kid's Cove, sprawled all over the floor. When I went onto the camera, there was some sort of weird, static-like noise. It looked like it had been coming from Mangle herself, but that was impossible. I couldn't hear anything from that distance. It was an odd time. Very odd.

I wound up the music box.I didn't want it to run out like last night. It also seemed like my battery life lasted quite a long time, it was 2am and I still had 3 out of 4 bars left. Bonnie was at my right air vent again so I put on the mask. Bonnie didn't move in front of me this time, I just heard him crawl back through the vents. The lights still flickered. The owner of the place should have really got them fixed.

When I checked the Game Area I saw that Balloon Boy had left. I frantically flicked through the cameras, starting to panic. I didn't know what he would do. Would he kill me? Or something else? I found him again in the left air vent. It looked like he was mid-crawl, about to poke his head into my office. His teeth were showing but they were blunt. That didn't make him any less scary.

I heard a little boy's voice. "Hi." It echoed around the room. It must have been Balloon Boy. He could talk. "Hello?" Then he laughed. It was the most horrible, continual laugh I had ever heard. It sounded like he was laughing at me.

I checked my left vent and Balloon Boy was poking his head through. I put the mask on. The vents clanked again. I took the mask off. There was no one there. I wound up the music box. When I put the cameras back down Toy Freddy was in my office, right in front of me. His eyes were pitch black. His head was tilted slightly to the right. I put the mask on as quickly as I could, but I wondered if I was quick enough. The lights flickered. They came back on. I waited for a couple of seconds. No one there. I took the mask off and looked at Prize Corner on the cameras. Everything seemed normal. I wound up the music box. When I put down the cameras, Mangle was on the ceiling.

She was attached to the ceiling with her bare endoskeleton (the robotic skeleton) parts. Her head was normal but there was only one eye; the other eye was separate, on its own endoskeleton head. I didn't know what to do; she was just up there, staring at me. I checked the tunnel and Old Foxy was there. I shone the light on him, scaring him off. Then I realised something. There was a noise in my office. The same noise that there was on the Kid's Cove camera. Mangle's camera. It was as if she was trying to speak. I decided to leave her, there wasn't really any other option. When I put the cameras down I saw her head swing upside down at me. I ducked, just avoiding her wide open mouth. She crashed into the wall and collapsed onto the floor. She didn't move. I approached her. I saw that her mask had a lid at the bottom of it. So I opened it. What I next saw was horrifying.

There were pieces of a body. Cut up. Looking at the size of it, it must have been of a child. A child's body had been stuffed into a robot suit. Who could have done it? It couldn't have been Mike. Could it?

I wondered if a child had been stuffed into each suit, but at that moment Mangle's lid snapped shut. She got up and crawled out of the room like a spider, through the vent. I went back to my desk.

I spotted Old Foxy in the tunnel but before I could shine the light on him 6am struck. I walked past Foxy in the tunnel. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a few words on the side of his arm. It read "PURPLE INDUSTRIES, WILLIAM AFTON CO."

NIGHT 3

I walked into the office and played the phone message. Mike was there. "He's gone, so I can talk to you freely." Who was gone? "Tomorrow night, investigate the Parts and Service room. There's something behind the main wall. Something you can't see. I don't have time to tell you what. I'm being held hostage by William Afton. Ask Dad who he is when you get home. The old animatronics come tonight. He's coming back now. Purple Guy. The Purple Man. William Afton. Goodnight." The message ended.

William Afton. That was the same name as on Foxy's arm. Purple Industries. The Purple Man. The child in Mangle. It was all coming together. William Afton must have killed that child. William Afton had stuffed a child into that suit. William Afton was this Purple Man, the same one which Dad had recently been talking about. Had William killed other children? Had he stuffed them into other suits like the ones in Fredbear's and Candy's? There was still more to find out. But for now, I had to survive these six nights at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. It was in my blood.

I restarted the music box and put the cameras down. Old Bonnie was in front of me. He had no face. There was just wires with two red dots in the middle. He was a dark blue. There were holes in his suit, showing some of his endoskeleton parts. His ears bent over the front of his face. I put the mask on quickly. The lights flickered, as usual. They turned back on and I took off the mask. He was gone.

I reset the music box. When I put down the cameras Old Chica had appeared in front of me. When would they give me a break? She had her arms out, so I could see wires where her hands used to be. Her mouth was stretched out, revealing her endoskeleton mouth. Her beak had teeth. She was battered, as if she had been in a fight. I put the mask on yet again. She left as the lights flickered and I took the mask off.

I was unsure of how the old animatronics could move; they weren't supposed to be active. They had been utterly battered, but not fully destroyed. Had the Purple Guy done something to them? Mike would never talk about his job in the first location. Had something happened there? What if these were the animatronics from the first location? There were a lot of unanswered questions. But they were definitely going to be answered in time.

I checked Parts and Service on the cameras. The only animatronic there was Old Foxy. He was staring at the wall, his head slightly tilted down. This was the first time I had seen him clearly; I could only just make his figure out when he was in the tunnel. His eyepatch was on. His lower jaw was purely metal, yet his upper jaw was still a light red. The jaws bared yellow, sharp metal teeth. I could tell why they put these animatronics in for scraps.

Suddenly, my cameras were pulled down by Old Freddy. He was in my office, leaning into my face. He had blue and red wires sticking out of parts of his body. The colour of his skin was a dark brown. The eye to my left was facing left, the other eye facing right. I put on the mask. The lights flickered. He left. 6am struck. As I walked out of the restaurant, a shadow of purple sped past me.

NIGHT 4

As midnight struck I walked into the Parts and Service room as Mike had told me to do the previous night. The door was slightly open. Old Chica lay against the left wall. Old Freddy was in the centre of the room, his mouth forming a smile. Old Bonnie sat against the back wall, his head looking down. I saw then that there was another part of the room which you couldn't see on the cameras. I looked behind it. Old Foxy was there, standing up. He stared at me. I slowly backed away as he moved towards me, but I then fell backwards over Old Freddy. He opened his eyelids and got up. Old Bonnie's eyes glowed red and he stood up. Old Chica still lay motionless. I cowered in the corner, waiting for them to get me. But they didn't. They walked out of the Parts and Service room and down the main hall. Had they been programmed to go to the security office and kill the nightguard? Who had done it? Old Chica still wasn't moving. I suddenly saw her head move a bit. It was loose. I turned it around the screws and slowly took it off. I heard a voice: "Careful!" Mike? "Mike!"

"Hey Bill."

"What happened?"

"William put me in this suit. Luckily it's old, so the spring locks trigger less easily."

"What are spring locks?"

"They're like mini drills put in each animatronic. If an intruder comes into the suit, then the spring locks will sense the movement and drill into his or her body."

"Ew."

"Exactly. William also told me that you know you're dying for minutes. You're eventually killed off from blood loss."

"Glad I found you then. How did you know you'd get put in now?"

"I guessed. Anyway, I was put in here hours ago, just after your third night. I've been trying not to move too much for ages. I thought you saw William walk past you this morning."

"Only a glance; I didn't know what he was. Anyway, go home. And get some rest. I can complete the night on my own."

"Cheers Bill. Bye."

"See ya." Mike walked out of the restaurant. Now I had to get back to the office.

I left Parts and Service, but Toy Chica was in the main hall. I went into Party Room 2. From there I could go into air vent 2. But Toy Bonnie was blocking it, looking at the camera. I didn't know if he would see me or not, so I hid under a dining table. A few seconds later, I heard someone come in.

His shoes were loud and echoed around the room. It must have been Purple Guy. I couldn't see him from the tablecloth over the end of the table. "Mike's escaped Old Chica's suit. The spring locks should have killed him off. Someone must have taken him out. What do you think Charles?" Who was Charles? Was he talking to Toy Bonnie? What if Toy Bonnie… was Charles?

My theory of the children being killed was becoming true. And it was Purple Guy who had done it. I just had to find proof. Then it came to me. A voice said: "I wasted a whole kid on Chica. Guess she just wasn't worth it. I'll find a replacement though. Maybe Mike's brother."

I gasped. And he heard me. He pulled up the tablecloth. "Hello, there. I guess you can't run or hide." I scrambled up onto my feet and dashed for the vent. But Toy Bonnie stopped me. "Nice work, Richard." Wait a minute. Wasn't Toy Bonnie Charles? Or had there been someone else in the room with us?

I tried to wriggle myself out of Toy Bonnie's grip, but the effort was useless. He just knelt there, staring at me with blank eyes. Then William spoke: "Let him go." What? He was letting me go? "He'll come in handy later. It'll make my plans much easier. Mike can join in too." Toy Bonnie loosened his grip and I ran into the right air vent. When I managed to get back into the security office my Freddy Fazbear mask was on the floor. There was the Marionette standing in front of the desk, looking for me. He was a long, thin puppet with a theatrical type of happy-face mask on with red cheeks and blue lines coming down from his empty eye sockets, presumably streaks of tears. He had three white buttons down his chest and stomach and he had white stripes at the end of his four limbs. The rest of his body was black. Suddenly, he spoke: "Free me. I am stuck. Free me."

I walked over to him, and I heard the voice again. "Free me. Not him. Free me." It wasn't the Puppet talking? This was a big mistake. Suddenly, I realised something. The Marionette was not walking. He was floating. This was getting a bit out of control. Floating robots trying to kill somebody by order of a purple person. It must have been a dream. Why would children ever play with such a scary thing? Who would bother to kill children and hide them from the police? There is no other reason; this was surely a dream. But what about Mike's previous job? Surely that was real? I had no clue. But it must be over soon. It had been going on for over a week. Unless I wasn't dreaming.

I was still pondering my dream theory in front of the Puppet when 6am struck. Instead of leaving immediately, I played Mike's phone message. "Bill, I have some news for you. About William Afton. He had two sons and a daughter. Both the younger son and daughter were killed. The son, Charles Afton, had his head put into the mouth of Fredbear in Fredbear's Family Diner by four bullies wearing masks that represent the four animatronic mascots we have today. The boy's tears triggered the spring locks in Fredbear, causing his mouth to come down. The girl, well, I can't tell you because I'm not sure. The older brother, however, disappeared. There is no more information about him. Try and find more out about him if you can. I'll see you when you get home." Then there was a sound of static, and something else spoke: "Free us. Free us soon. Good ending. Good endi-" The recording finished, and for the first time since I came to this place I understood what something meant. The souls must be freed.

NIGHT 5

I walked into Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. As I reached the security office I played the phone message. "Hi Bill. It's meant to be harder tonight. I've found the body that was in Old Chica. Purple Guy found us out. He's going to be looking for the both of us. Don't worry about me, I've found a good hiding place. I can't tell you where though, he might be monitoring this message. Treat the night as any other, despite the odd things that are going on. We can always keep our secrets. Even ones which we've only found out recently. Good night."

I wondered what he meant by this. Did he have other secrets? My dad adopted him when he was nine, plenty of things could have happened before then. For example, his real surname was unknown.

I put up the cameras to wind up the music box. When I put down the music box Old Freddy was already in my office. I put on the mask and the lights flickered, as usual. He left the security office. I shone the light on Old Foxy after finding him in the tunnel, then put up the cameras again.

Balloon Boy had arrived in my office. He was standing in front of the broken TV screens at the back of the office. He was constantly laughing as I watched his head move up and down. I tried to shine my light down the tunnel to keep Old Foxy away, but my torch wasn't working. Balloon Boy was still laughing. I suddenly realised what he had done. He had stopped my light from working. Was this causing an inevitable death from Old Foxy? I had no idea what to do, until I saw some boards by the side of the right air vent. There were some nails there too. There was always a hammer on my desk, next to the odd-looking cupcake with blue eyes. I think it's supposed to be Chica's. It was weird how both Chicas I knew always had their eyes in strange positions. It was as if they were blind. Maybe… they saw through the cupcake's eyes? Anyway, that was enough theorising. I needed to board up the entrances to the security office.

Just after I had finished boarding up the tunnel there was a bang against the wood, a bit like a knock. It was a sharp knock, most likely done by Old Foxy's hook. Mike had told me that in the location he worked in, there were doors to stop the animatronics from coming in. Maybe he did this back at the old location too. It was nice to think that both of us had dealt with the same animatronics. I then boarded up the right vent. Balloon Boy was still laughing his head off. Then his head literally fell off. A balloon floated into the air and bounced on the ceiling. I looked inside his body and found another child. It was horrifying how someone could do this. I was about to board up the second vent when Toy Chica poked her head through.

I ran for the Freddy Fazbear mask on the desk but Balloon Boy's head rolled into the desk, knocking it off. It stopped right by Toy Chica. I was trying to think of something to do, when I remembered about the cupcake. I pushed it over and its eyes fell onto the top of the desk. At that very moment Toy Chica tried to get up but banged her head on the vent. My theory was correct. I smirked. Her blind eyes narrowed and she punched the vent. It made a thick dent. She got onto her feet. I slowly backed away from her. There was only one exit to this room now. She bumped into the desk and felt for the cupcake. Now was my chance. I slowly crawled along the sides of the four walls of the room, trying to make as little sound as possible. I started to sweat. I dragged myself into the vent, my body suddenly feeling motionless. I was halfway through the vent when the air shortened.

Someone had shut down the air conditioning. In such a small, cramped space, only little air could enter. I heard the sound of someone boarding up the vent behind me. If I didn't make it to the other side of the vent in time, I'd suffocate. I started to hyperventilate. I pushed each side of the vent, becoming claustrophobic. I felt like it was closing on me. I tried to crawl as fast as I could, but it felt as slow as a snail. The vent went on forever. I crawled and crawled. I was near the end, the air becoming extremely thin. I was running out of time. Suddenly, I saw a board being placed at the end of the vent.

Someone was trying to trap me in here. I saw a second board appear as I reached the end of the vent. If I banged on the piece of wood, it would break but this person would probably catch me anyway. I waited until the rest of the vent was boarded up, deciding I would break it down later. "Good work, Michael." said Purple Guy. I recognised his voice. But Michael, that was my brother's name. I heard them walk away, then I heard a door shut. I knocked down the boards one by one and got out. I had pins and needles in my legs. As I left the pizzeria, I pondered over what had just happened. Was my brother helping William Afton? Or, more importantly, was there more than one Purple Guy? If this was correct, then Mike was faking this whole thing: Old Chica's suit, helping me and finding out the truth. It was brother against brother. Good versus evil.

As I walked, I spotted a smashed up dark yellow suit. It had holes in it all over the place. Its teeth were large and square. It slightly resembled a bunny. I could see spring locks waiting to be triggered inside. Above there was a note saying "Spring Bonnie", supposedly the suit's name. More like Springtrap.

NIGHT 6

It was night 6. I had to free the souls. Balloon Boy was free already. There was a murderer and a brother trying to stop me. It ran through their family. Like father like son. This must be done.

I walked up to the show stage. Only Toy Freddy was there. He turned to look at me. His light blue eyes looked lazy. He was a light brown and had a black hat with a red stripe. He held a microphone. His face looked completely serious. He was not one to mess with. I turned his head. It made a loud squeaky sound which echoed around the whole room. I froze, looking around to see if anyone had heard me. Not a mouse stirred. I turned back to Toy Freddy and carried on unscrewing his head. It came off and dropped onto the ground. The rest of the body then crashed to the floor. I could have sworn I saw a white substance float into the air.

One of the crying children was free to roam. He walked into the party room.

I left the show stage and entered Party Room 1. Mike was waiting for me. "Hello, Bill."

"Hello Mike."

"Please, Michael. Michael Afton." My theory was correct. Mike was no longer my brother from another mother. He was my enemy. "My father had left me as a baby because having a child and spending so much time on building his first animatronics was too much for him. He was so ashamed of sending his own son away that he told my mother I had disappeared. The following year my mother had twins, Charles and Lucy Afton." The two children who were killed.

"I always roamed Fredbear's Family Diner with my three friends. I wore a Foxy mask, the others wore a Freddy, Bonnie and Chica mask. It was pure coincidence that William also owned it. I had hated Charles from the very first moment I saw him. He was always with his two friends as well. One wore a yellow Freddy mask and another wore a Marionette mask. One time I saw the Purple Man stuff the child with the yellow Freddy mask into a suit. Then I spotted Charles watching too. I grabbed him and put him into Fredbear's mouth. He carried on crying and crying until Fredbear's mouth snapped shut. I had killed a witness. Only a few days ago did I realise that he was my brother and that Purple Man was my father. From then on I faked the whole thing for entertainment. You fell for it so easily." He laughed. "But what about Lucy?" I asked. "I have no idea. Probably killed by an animatronic too." he replied. "There was only one other thing Father didn't explain to me; why did I keep on seeing Fredbear's suit popping up around both pizzerias I've been in? Anyway, I should really dispose of you now."

I was sent straight into an adrenaline mass. I grabbed a table and hurled it at Mike. He dodged it. I ran out of the room and went to Party Room 2 where I found Toy Bonnie. He immediately turned to me. When he saw me, his eyes grew wide. Sensing something about me, he walked over slowly. As he was right in front of me I grabbed his head. His eyes went to either side of his head and his hands steadily moved towards mine. I quickly started turning. Toy Bonnie's head was far easier to turn than Toy Freddy's. Soon it came off, and the same white substance came out of his suit, just before it crashed to the floor.

The second child joined him. They looked at each other and waited for the others.

Next up was Toy Chica. I walked into the main hall, where I saw an extremely old yellow suit. It had wires sticking out, with empty eye sockets. He also had a black, dented top hat. It lay on the floor. This was the suit which Mike - I mean Michael - was talking about. I was about to unscrew its head when it came right off. It was as though someone at me.

The first child wanted vengeance she slowly made her way to the private room.

I saw that the entrance to my security office was still boarded up. I spotted Toy Chica in Party Room 3. As I went in she turned to me. I started to turn her head when she punched me in the stomach. I was winded; I fell to the floor. I had to remind myself that she saw through the cupcake, so there must have been something - or someone - that was in the security office. It couldn't be Michael; the room was still boarded up and I had seen him earlier. So it must have been William. I watched Toy Chica's head spinning around loose at an incredible speed, while trying to catch William who was almost at the other side of the building. Eventually her head flew off like a rocket into the air, banged on the ceiling and came plummeting to the ground with a crash.

Another soul entered the room with the others, looked around, then sat in a chair in front of the table.

Next up was Mangle. I left Party Room 3 and went down the main hall. I turned right into Kid's Cove and, sure enough, Mangle lay on the ground. I took her head and and opened the lid. It wouldn't budge. Suddenly Mangle came to life and crawled up the side of the wall. She stopped on the ceiling and looked down at me. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do. Suddenly she dropped and landed on top of me. Her endoskeleton parts held a tight grip around me like a python. The more I tried to free myself, the tighter it got. She narrowed her eyes at me and opened her mouth. The static noise from the cameras when she was in my office on the second night. I started to listen very carefully. I could just make out a voice, it was a little girl's: "Daddy, please let me play with her."

When Mangle noticed that I had heard this she loosened her grip and stared into the distance. I grabbed her head as quickly as I could and turned it. It came off easily and the white substance floated into the air.

A fourth soul, the oldest of the four so far, entered the room, happy to be free after being trapped so long. Only 1 remained; the one from the boy suit had arrived too.

My next stop was Prize Corner. As I was just about to leave Kid's Cove I spotted a black section on the wall. I opened it up. It showed a map of the restaurant. I knew all of the rooms except for one. The private room.

As I entered Prize Corner the first thing I saw was a bare endoskeleton. It just stared at me. Suddenly, it spoke: "Goldie." It whispered. It went up to me. "You will not serve as Him. We have known who we want all along." It left. Was that Golden Freddy's endoskeleton? Maybe that was why she could never move.

I opened the big blue box and Marionette was in there. He was folded up like a pair of jeans. He jumped out. I tried grabbing his head but it wouldn't turn. Marionette cornered me and picked me up. He stuffed me into the blue box. He tried to shut the lid but I just managed to grab his mask in time. The puppet immediately fell to the floor, but this time the soul went in a different direction. I followed it into the main hall, then into Party Room 4.

The final child had made it, the oldest of them all.

I saw all the other souls I had freed in there except for one. They all looked at each other then slowly faded away. Then six balloons floated up into the air. Six children.

The souls had finally been put to rest.

Now I had to find the old animatronics.

I went to the Parts and Service room but only Old Chica was there. I quickly unscrewed her head and the white substance came into the air.

Another child joined the first in the private room. They stood and watched the Purple man shake with fear.

When I exited Parts and Service I spotted Old Freddy in the main hall. He just watched the boarded up tunnel. I was about to unscrew his head when he suddenly span around to face me. "Mike must pay the price. He must serve as Him." I then heard another, far deeper voice: "S - A - V - E T - H - E - M." I couldn't quite figure out what it said, but then there was another whispering voice: "You can't."

I managed to unscrew Old Freddy's head and the soul entered the surrounding darkness.

A third child arrived to the purple man's horror.

Next up was Old Bonnie. I eventually found him in the game area, looking at the carousel. I unscrewed his head, then his body turned to look at me. The head I was holding in my hands slowly shook itself, then the soul appeared and disappeared.

The penultimate child stood before him.

Suddenly Old Foxy came out of the blackness. He slowly raised his head towards me. "Find me Mike. Revenge will be served. I was right all along. No one can prove me wrong." I went to unscrew his head but he stopped me with his hook. "Tell me. Or you will have the same fate." "I don't know." I replied starting to get extremely nervous. "I think… the private room." Old Foxy looked surprised. "Funtime Foxy…" I took my chance and unscrewed his head. His body fell to the floor and I followed his soul. It went to Party Room 4. I noticed a loose tile in the corner and pressed it. It revealed an extra room. There were the old souls surrounding Mike. Springtrap was also on the floor. One soul was chasing him around. Mike held it back with a knife. "Stay back! Stay back!"

The soul chased him into the Springtrap suit. He got in then started laughing at them. Suddenly a drop of water came from the ceiling. It dropped onto the suit and the spring locks triggered. One had been vanquished. There was only one left.

Mike crumpled to the floor in a pool of blood, screaming for his life. Eventually he was silenced by blood loss. My six nights were completed. The souls were freed. My mission was over. For now.

EPILOGUE

My dad was horrified when he heard the news about Michael. He went off to his room while I stayed I got a message on my phone: "Hello Bill Schmidt. Next month you will be required to be the nightguard for our new location, Fazbear's Fright. There will only be one animatronic you need to take care of, and that is Spring Bonnie. It's the usual, 12am to 6am."

It was brother against brother. Yet again. The battle between us was not over yet.

The souls will haunt forever.

I am still here. I have returned. I always do.

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S 3

By Felix Adler

READER'S NOTE

To all FNAF fans,

These books are not supposed to suit the real Five Nights at Freddy's storyline but they are made purely for your entertainment. Some aspects are part of the real thing but most are not. You may find some of my very own theories but these are not especially important. Some other parts of the story will be out of date in terms of FNAF lore because it's near impossible to be able to update every single thing to the current proven theory. If you want to read my other books their titles are:

"Five Nights At Freddy's"

"Five Nights At Freddy's 2"

"Five Nights At Candy's"

"Five Nights At Fredbear's"

"Sister Location"

"Fazbear"

I have not included FNAF 4, FNAF World FNAF 6 in this series because I believe they lack the ability to tell a good story. There will be info which could have been gained from them in my other stories instead and I have created my own animatronics as well for one of the books in the series.

Best Regards,

Felix Adler

PROLOGUE

It was time for my next job. I had no option. Springtrap would have easily been able to find my house; he used to live there. All I had to do was complete five nights, not six this time, at the new location Fazbear's Fright. It was just Mike I had to stay away from now. He was the only animatronic left. Well, except for rumours of the Puppet still being alive. Just because his mask was twitching when I left it in the previous location, it doesn't mean he can just… put himself back together. That would be ridiculous.

Yet I had been seeing hallucinations around the place. They were all of the original animatronics: Freddy, Chica, Foxy, Balloon Boy, Mangle and Marionette, but they looked different. They looked like moss had been growing on them, then it was wiped off leaving green streaks all over their original suits. I called them Phantom animatronics. They would become more common once I returned to the place of my nightmares, I was sure of it. Hopefully they wouldn't distract me from my job. Maybe I'll be able to uncover some more of the mystery. And maybe I would be able to get rid of this mess.

My sister had had a breakdown; she was in a trauma, so my dad was with her then. Mike had really let both of them down. They both couldn't believe that he would help such horrifying creatures; they had been to others of Fazbear's Entertainment restaurant locations.

Yet it was me who had been invited for the next job at Fazbear's Fright.

NIGHT 1

I arrived in the dark, damp building that was Fazbear's Fright. There were mossy green streaks all over the walls and the occasional drop of water came down from the ceiling. I couldn't see any signs of life. Anywhere.

I reached the security office. It was a little corner of the room blocked off by two walls. There was a long window in front of my desk and next to me was an open doorway. There was a hanger bearing Freddy's empty suit. There were also cartoon posters of Freddy, Bonnie and Chica. A box was in the corner, containing all of the Toy animatronics' masks. There was Balloon Boy's as well, but Marionette's was not present.

Fazbear's Entertainment had now decided to create a horror attraction where the first location of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza once stood. It's been advertised all over the State, so people would come and gasp at the remnants of these child-friendly animatronics.

When I put up the cameras (which were planted into a wall; you pull them out with a handle) there were two different sections: the regular cameras and the vent system. There were four cameras for each of the vents. I saw the recorder on the desk as usual and played the message. "Hello, Bill. This is William Afton."

I gaped at the recorder. "Now, I'm only helping you for these nights for three reasons: 1. I need to keep a nightguard for this job. 2. Mike will come after me when he's finished with you. 3. I have… other uses for you. Now the first screen is in the wall. From there you can look at the vents, where Mike will come through sometimes, and the regular cameras: Mike's other route. There is an electronic audio which you can use to keep Mike away. He hates the laugh of children: you can take a guess why." Children's souls were the reason he was stuck in that suit, there was no doubt their laughs would be daunting. "You can also use a map toggle on the cameras to change to the vents. The second screen, which is by this recorder, will help you solve any problems with the ventilation, cameras or audio. That's all the info you'll need for this night." the recording ended.

I looked around the cameras, finding Springtrap in a room near the back of the restaurant. It was dark, so I couldn't see him properly. I looked around other cameras to see what the rest of the place was like. In most rooms there were the original animatronics' masks, except for Freddy. Bonnie had lost his face at the other pizzeria I worked at, so they found the front and used that instead. They all had lights shining out of them, I presumed they were being used as torches. Bonnie's and Chica's masks were just in the corner, but Foxy's mask was at the back of a hallway, built into the wall, his mouth wide open. On the last camera I looked at I could see a mask which looked exactly like Freddy's, but his was by my doorway. So whose could it have been?... Golden Freddy?

I put down the cameras and checked to see if there were any errors. Everything was fine. I looked at the doorway. No one was there. But when I looked at the front window, I could have sworn I saw something limping across the room. It had wires sticking out of the side of its thin head, and what seemed to be a black top hat. Not already.

I watched the figure move out of sight, but then I heard a beeping sound. I checked the error screen. The audio was down. I clicked on it and it started reloading. It was unbelievably slow. All the screen showed was three dots slowly moving right Dot. Dot. Dot. Restart. Dot. Dot. Dot. Restart.

It eventually finished and I turned off the screen. Phantom Freddy was right in front of me, baring a garish grin and his mouth wide open. I put my hands in front of my face and shut my eyes. He disappeared.

I opened my eyes again and breathed a sigh of relief. It wasn't real. It wasn't real. I said to myself over and over again in my head. I looked around and only saw the grim horror attraction this place was.

My watch said 5:30am and Springtrap was only at the arcade room; around the centre of the building. I could still only see him as a figure in the darkness, but his head was definitely poised towards the cameras. The camera then showed static. I changed screen and fixed the visual error in the extremely slow process. When it had finished my watch beeped 6:00am. I left my desk. Yet I still heard shuffling in the distance. Suddenly I realised. Mike didn't shut down.

I slowly made my way through the hall past the arcade area where I saw a hand at the back of the room. The rest of Springtrap was round the corner. I slowly crept past the doorway. The hand didn't move. Suddenly, I stepped in a puddle and made a splashing sound. The hand moved. I made a run for it. Not daring to look back, I dashed through the pizzeria. I eventually made it out safely, and watched the pinkish sun come up from the horizon. Soon enough, that sun would be going back down.

That day…

Bill slept through most of the day when on the job. I went through the back door of Fazbear's Fright and climbed through the gutter. I walked through the sewer, eventually getting to the empty street where I used to live. I saw him through the bedroom window, sleeping like an innocent. Soon revenge would come.

NIGHT 2

It was time for the second night. I walked into the security office and put up the cameras. Springtrap was already in the arcade area, his hand twitching. I saw him walk out. Suddenly, his face jumped out right by the camera. I only saw him for a second, but I still could not believe what my brother had become.

I looked at the furthest room from my office in the whole pizzeria and all I saw was Phantom Balloon Boy's face. It had the same grim streaks of green as all of the others. I quickly put down the cameras. He was right in front of me. He held his balloon, but this time it was just dark green instead of the normal red and yellow. His sign was blank. He had those white dots which forever haunted me in his eyes. There was the same propeller cap on his head, but this time the propeller was dented and broken. He jumped at me and there was a white flash as he disappeared.

Springtrap had moved to the room which decided whether he would take the vent route or the route to my doorway. I put down the cameras when I heard a beeping sound and fixed the ventilation error. I put the cameras back up and he wasn't there.

He had entered the first vent and was crawling at a considerable pace. Soon he had moved to the second camera. Then the third. Then the fourth. I played the audio. I heard Balloon Boy's horrible laugh. Springtrap covered his ears and started crawling backwards. I was safe… for now.

I was looking through the cameras when I heard a loud groan. It didn't sound human. After three minutes, it still hadn't stopped. I was sure it was Springtrap, but I couldn't listen to that all night. I decided I would play the phone message first: "Hey, nice to see you're still alive. Each night Springtrap will be more and more determined to get you. The thing is, his human brain still works. The way I created the animatronics… it means their insides have something like an empty bloodstream. When the spring locks drilled into Mike's body, the suit fed on his blood. And the only organ that wasn't drilled into by the spring locks… is his brain. This means his brain still functions as part of the suit. It also means that there is a chance he can get out of the suit and survive. The trigger to deactivate the spring locks is hidden though. He shouldn't be able to find it; only I know where it is. It… it's happened before. To me. I pulled the trigger to deactivate the spring locks and limped, bleeding, to hospital. I said I was in a car crash. They believed me and fixed me up. Anyway, Springtrap has a brain so he will do things like set traps. I recommend you don't go into the security office tomorrow night. I have a hunch someone might be waiting for you." He stopped the recording.

It looked like William had just given away a little too much information. He just told me he used to go into the suits. That was how he kidnapped the children and put them into the suits.

The groan was still going on, but I presumed it was just one of Springtrap's traps (his name suits him well, doesn't it?). Then the groaning stopped. I checked all of the cameras but couldn't find Springtrap. When I put them down he was right in front of me. This was the first time I had seen him properly. His body was a murky dark green with mossy streaks. There was blood seeping through some of his holes. His ears were long and bent forward at the end. His teeth were square and went round the front of his face in a type of smile. They were covered in dark red dry blood. Finally, I saw his eyes. No… they weren't his eyes. They were Mike's eyes. They were bloodshot. This was not Springtrap trying to kill me. It was Michael Afton.

He made a noise like a whispering scream and tried to grab me, but I dodged him and ran out of the office. 6:00am struck. I couldn't see Springtrap anywhere. I started to slow my pace. I was about to go down a long corridor when I saw Foxy's face at the end of it. Light was bursting out of his eyes.I decided to take another route to the front door; I wouldn't feel comfortable going near Foxy, even if he was dead.

I was just about to open the front door when a cold hand tapped my shoulder. I turned around. It was Springtrap.

He grabbed me and flung me against the wall. I banged my head and crumpled to the floor. Everything I saw was blurry and in a red miasma. A green figure put its hand into its hole and pulled out a silvery object. A knife? Then I heard something. It was Balloon Boy's laugh. The figure covered his ears and ran off. Wait a minute. You could only trigger a child's laugh if you were in the security office. Who had done it?

I opened the front door. As I was going home I could have sworn I saw something in the bushes.

That day…

Did he see me? I might have just got away with it. But I did just rip a bit off of his curtain. Looks like there was some writing on it… oh, who cares? It looked like his head healed enough to get home. Unfortunately. Anyway, I needed to get that other person when he pressed the audio. Now two people owe me. What they owe me: their lives.

NIGHT 3

I walked in. The pizzeria was even quieter than usual. I remembered the phone call: "I have a hunch someone might be waiting for you." I went to the entrance to the air vents. After a minute or two of looking around in it, I found a small bug on the side. It was fairly deep into the vent. I saw a broom nearby and grabbed it. I slowly moved the broom into the vent, closer to the bug. The moment the broom touched the bug the front of the vent snapped shut, breaking the broom in half. The bug had been some sort of proximity device.

I slowly backed away from the vents and turned around. Phantom Chica stood in front of me. Her head had moss streaks on it which made her look like an over-ripe melon with a beak. Her mouth moved as if to laugh at me but no sound came. When I blinked she had disappeared.

I walked past the security office and there was the same type of bug that I had seen in the vent. On my chair. Michael's the cat and I'm the mouse. Let's hope I don't end up in a mousetrap.

I heard a shuffling in the corner and I stopped in my tracks. He was here. A white glint stared at me and I stared right back. One was waiting for the other to strike first. Suddenly the glint disappeared. I snatched the front of the security office chair and flung it at the wall where the glint had been. There was a swift single movement in the darkness as the chair hit the wall. The door to the security office closed behind me. Now I only had one place to go: to Springtrap.

I put my torch on full brightness so I could see everything properly. That's when I saw him. "Bill, is that you?"

My father was shaking in the corner. "Dad? Why are you here?"

"I couldn't find your sister anywhere around the house, so I came looking here."

"Dad, Michael's walking around. You should have been more careful."

"I know that now, obviously. Luckily when he walked past he didn't see me. I just can't believe that Mike would do something like this." "I'll get you out of here. Let's go."

We were walking along one of the long, dark corridors stretching from one end of the pizzeria to the other. There was a dripping sound echoing around the area. We were silent as we walked. Suddenly, the dripping stopped. I stopped. Dad stopped. Mike didn't. He was now walking towards us at a steady pace. I was too scared to move. Dad wasn't. He sped off. He didn't even wait for me. Springtrap turned to look at him for a second, then gazed at me again. But he didn't move. He twitched for a minute, then his eyes went black. There was a noise of static. "Hello Bill. I've hacked into Springtrap's mainframe so I could send you this message. Tonight is going to be a little different. You'll see why. Wait, what? Why are you here? What are you doing? Hey, no! Don't do that. I thought you were gone! Please, please. Ok, Bill, see ya. I've got something to do." There was static again, then nothing. Springtrap's eyes glowed bright red. He looked back at me. He let out a huge roar which shook the room. I ran.

I ran into the security office. I threw the chair with the bug on it a while ago. I put on the old Freddy Fazbear mask on the desk, but it was covered with this horrible liquid, it felt like soap. I took it off and chucked it out of the room. It deflected off the wall and landed just out of my vision. There was a crunching sound, slow and painful. A red glint turned around the door.

He was there, with his angry red eye, watching me. I was, yet again, still. He lurched forward. I still couldn't move. It was like everything was in slow-motion. I shut my eyes and waited for my fate. But it never came. I heard a loud clunking noise and a scream. Dad. I opened my eyes again and Springtrap was gone. Dad was on the floor. His leg was cut open in the form of a huge gash. I stifled a scream. I knelt down next to him. "Dad, are you okay?" He didn't answer. I looked through all of the drawers on the desk in the security office, but all I could find was a ripped purple curtain with dots on it. It would have to do. I wrapped it around my Dad's leg and helped him up. "Thanks, Bill." "Dad, why did you run away before?" He didn't answer. We made our way out of the office and down the corridor. We were just by the front door. I checked my watch. 6:16. I can leave. I took him home and went to bed. My third night was finished.

That day…

I swear I will get them both. One day. One day I will get them all. Even Dad. He never bothered even to try to get me out of this suit. Let's see how he likes being put in a suit. Now, where was that old bear one? Wait, I need to slow down. I have another plan first...

NIGHT 4

I decided not to go round the front way to the pizzeria tonight. Springtrap will have probably put a bug there. I made my way around the pizzeria until I found an old green door with green, slightly wet, streaks. It was extremely dark and had no doorknob. I tried to push it open. It was blocked by something. I kicked the door. It moved slightly. After the third kick, the door was just wide enough for me to squeeze through. When I looked at what had been blocking the door, it was something I wasn't expecting.

Phantom Marionette watched my every movement. His eyes were black with the same white glow as the last location I worked in. I should have been scared, but I wasn't. There was something about him that seemed so: calm. I walked towards him. He stayed where he was. I decided to try to talk to him. "Hello." "I have been trapped for many years. I was the first animatronic made by Afton. And one of the few too." He could talk.

"Afton never made that many animatronics. After a few his business partner and brother, Jeremy Afton, found out that these suits were somehow haunted. He stopped William from ever making animatronics again, and started to create his own, more friendly animatronics, being the ones that most children knew and loved until a few years ago. Unfortunately, I was William's experiment animatronic. He placed floating mechanisms in my legs, using magnets which repelled each other, causing levitation. And he also placed two children in me; which is why I am still alive. Jeremy also placed stopping joints in his animatronics, so they couldn't do anything a human couldn't do. Therefore they had to rely on you to free the souls for them. In contrast, the other William animatronics and I can move all limbs freely. But I have no hands. Springtrap ripped them off. So it can't be removed." "Do you want me to do it again?" I asked. "No. I must finish what Afton started. I must kill his son." Michael.

I left him alone when I walked down the corridor. He went to sit back against the door. So William had a brother. I presumed that Marionette didn't know what happened to him. Maybe I would find that out later. I always seem to.

I went into the security office and immediately pressed The laugh which deterred Springtrap. I'm never sure when he's near. I checked the cameras and found him in the vent, turning around with one hand trying to cover both of his ears. Success. I shut the vent door. Phantom Foxy was standing in the hallway. The ventilation and the cameras had to be fixed. I quickly put up my cameras again, but I saw Phantom Mangle on camera 3. I put down the cameras again. I was jumpscared by some hallucination, I didn't even have time to see what it was. I fell of my chair and onto the floor. I was struggling to breathe from the ventilation failure. I tried to reach the rebooting screen, but I just couldn't reach it. The chair was on top of me and too heavy to move. There was an unbearably loud sound of static. I was near giving up, with little air left. I kept on pushing, but the chair wouldn't give. I had tried. I had failed. I had let them down. I was done. It was over. I shut my eyes.

Nothing. I could see nothing. I could feel nothing. I could hear nothing. I was in an unimaginable void. It felt as if there was nothing, and there never would be anything either. So I did nothing. Because I could do nothing. If I tried to shout, then I would fail. If I tried to walk, I would fail. If I tried to live, I would fail. Nothing.

Nothing.

Nothing.

Something.

There was a sound. A distant sound. It sounded like a plane, but from miles away. I tried to open my eyes. And it worked. I was still in the security office. The chair was back in its place. There was no sound of static. The vents were working again. I stood up. Then shook. Then fell down again. I had to recover first. I lay there for a minute or two. Who did that? Who fixed everything? I thought about it, then came up with an answer: Marionette. He was the only one who would make a whooshing sound when he moved, because he floated. But he was nowhere to be seen.

I got back up and sat in my chair. I played the phone message: "Hey. Um, I found a note in the security office. It said 'Someone you love is gone. He is where the lights once shone'. No idea what it means, but I think it's addressed to you, not me. So, try to work it out. Anyway there's nothing else to say really. Bye."

Someone I love. Where the stars once shone. What on Earth does that mean? I started to walk around the pizzeria. Springtrap didn't seem to be anywhere. I checked the time. 5am. Already. I walked over to the arcade machines. They were all sturdy except for one, called 'Starman'. I tried pulling it to the side. And it worked. There was a dark passage behind it. I went in.

It smelled mouldy in there and it had the same green streaks as everywhere else in the restaurant. There was a candle every few metres. There was a clanking noise. I turned the corner and found Springtrap next to my father. But my father was dead.

His stomach had been cut open. The knife was still in there. There was blood everywhere. He was just lying on the floor. Springtrap had his heart in his hands. He stared at me, looking almost bored. But he still said nothing. I felt a surge of anger. I leapt at him. He just moved slightly to the left and I crashed to the floor. I turned around. My teeth were grinding. All I could think about was Mike. Before he became this thing. Before he turned to this side of him. I glared at him, but he turned and walked away. I knelt down my dad's side. I looked at him. His eyes were still open. They were glossy. All of the years I had spent with him. All of the times I had had with him. The life I had lived with him. All of it was gone. Because of someone I can no longer call a brother. Someone I can no longer call a person. Someone who I can swear my revenge on. Not Mike Schmidt. Not Springtrap. MIchael Afton.

I must have cried there for hours. But after a while, I decided to leave my father there. I didn't know why; it just felt right. I got up and walked out of the secret passage. I walked out of the restaurant. I walked back home. I walked to my bedroom. I walked to my bed. I shut my eyes. And couldn't get to sleep. I had to find my sister, Mary Schmidt. Before it was too late. But first, I had one final night to do.

That day…

He's learnt his lesson. To never come back to Fazbear's Fright. Otherwise his sister will have to go too. Then if he doesn't listen again. Well, he'll know what will happen next.

NIGHT 5

I had already phoned my sister to come to my house at about 6:15am. I was about to enter the front door to Fazbear's Fright yet again. It was time to finish this once and for all.

He's come back. What a fool. He doesn't know what he's in for. Tonight is going to be a busy night.

As I was opening the door, an alarm went off. An explosion blew the door off its hinges and I crashed onto the floor. Of course: The bug at the front door. Tonight is going to be a busy night.

There was constant movement all around the pizzeria. I ran to the security office. There was already a problem. While the audio was being fixed, Springtrap came up to the window. The moment the audio had restarted, I opened up the cameras and pressed the laugh. In my peripheral vision I could see him run away. I watched him on the cameras. He opened up a drawer in a room with some flower pots. Then he took something and put it in his- oh no.

These earplugs should do the trick. Now let's see how well he does in the security office this time.

I put down the cameras and ran out of the security office. I walked down the hall with Foxy's head. I took the head off of the wall, then put it in my huge rucksack. As I was moving into the next room to collect Chica's head, Springtrap turned the corner. He held the knife which had already been in one of us. It had dried blood down the side. I took a torch out of my rucksack and shone it in his face. He shielded his eyes with his hands, dropping the knife.

Idiot! What do you think you're doing? You're dead already, what's the point in trying?

Now was my chance. I grabbed Chica's mask and fled. Next up was the mask which looked like Freddy but wasn't.

I was just about to take the mask off when I saw Golden Freddy. But when I turned around he was gone. Was that a hallucination. I don't know. I quickly took the mask and ran. Bonnie's mask was crumpled on the floor. In one clean swing of the arm, it was thrown into my rucksack. There were only a few masks left, but to get those I needed the help of a Puppet.

Where is he? I've been waiting by the security office door for nearly half an hour. I might as well check the cameras. He's looking for someone. Of course. The Marionette. That's not fair. It's two against one.

"Will you need my mask?" Marionette asked. "No. I would be taking it against your will. You just need to never be seen by anyone. I'm trying to erase the Fazbear franchise." "Very well." Springtrap was waiting by the door. His arms were folded and he was tapping his foot. "You'll need to go through the vent. I can distract him." "Okay." I replied. I ran as fast as I could with the rucksack to the vent. I put the bag in first, then pushed.

I felt like a worm in dirt. I was trying to push a rock through the soil, but it was so heavy I went extremely slowly. The bag dropped and I just caught it before it crashed to the ground. Springtrap had hold of Marionette's face and was trying to crush his mask. Marionette stuck his arm inside of a hole in Springtrap, then took it out. It was as if he had winded him. Springtrap let go of the mask and bent over. Marionette grabbed the Freddy mask on the stand and threw it to me. I caught it and put it in the crate with all of the other masks from the second location. I picked up the crate and bashed Springtrap in the head with it. He crumpled to the floor. I jogged out of the door, thanked Marionette, and was on my way. Now to explain everything to my sister.

That day…

That idiot. How dare he hit me with a crate like that. I do believe it is time to strike.

THE ENCOUNTER

I had just finished telling my sister everything that had happened when she said: "I already know." "You what?" "I said I already know. On your second night, it was I who pressed the audio. On your fourth night, it was I who lifted that chair." "I thought that was Marionette." "No. It was me. I had slippers on, I had just woken up." That explained no footsteps. "Bill, I've been helping you throughout your time here, and I can do a little more. Let me help you." "Okay. Let's do this." Suddenly, Springtrap jumped through the window. With his knife. "Bill. Mary." He nodded to each of us. Then he took a stab at Mary. She screamed and jumped out of the way. "I'll find you." He said. Then jumped back out through the window. "We have to get to the pizzeria," I said, "it's the safest place." "WHAT?" She screamed. "That's where HE'S going to be!" "But the Puppet's there." I said calmly. I had to keep my nerve and my temper if I was going to do this. "We can leave the masks here."

We were walking through the restaurant. Marionette came over. "What are you doing here?" "We need to finish off Springtrap once and for all." I answered. "Fine. But you're going to need to hear the message for your 5th night first."

I played the phone message. "Look, Bill, things aren't quite going to plan. You're going to need to end all of this soon. But you can't count on me helping you. That's because, uh, I'm sort of being stuffed into a suit as we speak. I know that Springtrap is stronger than me. It's quite funny, huh, how I created animatronics and now I'm becoming one. Well, see you on the flipside." The recording ended with a sound like a drill and a pained shout.

Springtrap walked into the security office. "I've been waiting for you." He was holding a box of matches and a dripping can of petrol. He smiled. "Follow me, or we'll all have a bad ending." We all slowly walked to the front door, which had been replaced by this heavy block. "Now stay there. And say your goodbyes."

He slowly moved the block. "We can make it! Come on! He won't have time to get all of us!" "This is my fate." said Marionette. "You wanted Fazbear's Entertainment to be erased, so this is what is happening." Marionette. No. You can't. You can't. But I didn't say anything. The block was still being moved to stop us. I ran for it. I just made it through and pushed Springtrap in. "No! No! You idiot. We'll all die!" That's when I realised. Mary was still in there too.

"Mary, are you okay?" I shouted.

"Bill," she said, "I have survived Candy's. I have seen everything that Fazbear Entertainment has had to offer. I know it all. And that is why you have to light that fuse."

No.

"Otherwise, I will. I took a match from the matchbox. If you light that fuse, then I can finally be free. Free of all of the horrors I have seen. Please, Bill. Do it for me."

My sister wanted to die. And I was going to do it.

"I'm sorry Mary. I can't."

"Then I will." There was a sound of a match being struck against the floor, then Fazbear's Fright burst into flames.

There was only one scream. Then Springtrap came out of the flames. "Please, Bill, don't do it. Please. Look, I'm still your brother." Springtrap took off his mask. There was a rotted, purple face with bulging eyes. "Help me, Bill." He was trying to pull himself out of the springlock suit. There were deep gashes down the side of his head where the spring locks had drilled into his body. A flame landed on his flesh. He screamed. His face caught fire. He was being burnt from the inside out. He screamed and screamed. But nobody came. The suit fell to the floor, the echoes of the screams still in my head.

EPILOGUE

I had taken all of the remaining masks to the bridge, where the river was far below. There was my rucksack and the crate. All the people I had lost. A brother. A sister. A father. A friend. And there was nothing I could do. Except this. I threw the rucksack and the crate into the river. After about 20 seconds of falling, there was a huge splash. I smiled. And this is where I stop writing this. It's my end. I hope you like it like I did.

I jumped.

There was movement in the rubble. A golden hand shot up into the air. It then pulled itself up. Small, round, golden ears poked out. Then a face came out. All that could be seen were its eyes. "I'm not done yet." it said. Then another, thinner thing came out too. "Finally, I'm to myself. No other soul, no stupid Bill, and finally no Springtrap. Are you ready Dad?" "As ready as I'll ever be Charles." They walked (and floated) off into the distance.

FIVE NIGHTS AT CANDY'S

READER'S NOTE

To all FNAF fans,

These books are not supposed to suit the real Five Nights at Freddy's storyline but they are made purely for your entertainment. Some aspects are part of the real thing but most are not. You may find some of my very own theories but these are not especially important. Some other parts of the story will be out of date in terms of FNAF lore because it's near impossible to be able to update every single thing to the current proven theory. If you want to read my other books their titles are:

"Five Nights at Freddy's"

"Five Nights At Freddy's 2"

"Five Nights At Freddy's 3"

"Five Nights At Fredbear's"

"Sister Location"

"Fazbear"

I have not included FNAF 4, FNAF World or FNAF 6 in this series because I believe they lack the ability to tell a good story. There will be info which could have been gained from them in my other stories instead and I have created my own animatronics as well for one of the books in the series.

Enjoy,

Felix Adler

PROLOGUE

My dad had done it before me. I was up next. Candy's Burger and Fries was the second location from Fazbear's Entertainment. The first had a problem with the suits so they had to close down. They carried on moving after hours. Dad had had problems with that, although he never wanted to go into specifics. Freddy and Bonnie, the two Springlock animatronics, had been temporarily forgotten about. They were making new faces. I think they've done it before though; it's rumoured that there are forgotten animatronics. Ones that someone else made. Someone who wasn't entirely nice. No one knows either of the names of those who built the animatronics. I hope I don't meet him.

In case you didn't know, spring locks are a security system inside the animatronics. If someone who doesn't know how to use the suit goes in, then the spring locks will activate. If this happens, then two things will occur: First, all the locks will snap right into you, making deep cuts all over your body, and a split second later all the animatronic parts they've been holding back, all that sharp steel and hard plastic, will instantly be driven into your body. You will die, but it will be slow. You'll feel your organs punctured, the suit will grow wet with your blood, and you will know you're dying for long, long, minutes. You'll try to scream, but you will be unable to. Your vocal cords will be severed, and your lungs will fill with your own blood until you drown in it.

The nightguard job was five nights with an extra night for more money. I said I would do the extra night, but they said I couldn't change my mind after the job had started. The instructions a bit random, but I let it slide. At first I didn't know if I wanted to take the job because of how badly it went with Dad, but his reasons seemed pretty pathetic, so I decided to go for it anyway. If I had known the truth under his excuse then I would never had started.

NIGHT 1

The pizzeria was a dark area, but it had a friendly atmosphere. There were Candy and Cindy, the two main animatronics, standing on stage. There were multi-coloured stars hanging from a piece of string across the back of the stage. Candy was light blue, with red cheeks and whiskers. The centre of his face and his stomach and chest were white. He had two sharp canines on his upper jaw, but regular teeth on the lower jaw. He had a red bow-tie and a reddish-pink iris. He had a black button nose. Next to him was Cindy. She looked like a clone of Candy, except that she was purple. She had pink cheeks and a pink bow tie.

I was told to go through the back entrance, near the show stage. The main party room was part of a big area, in the same room as a show stage beyond. There was a thick white door with a circular window which led to the kitchen. There were red chairs and a huge table with a white cloth over it. There were three main halls before the security office. They weren't particularly interesting rooms, just led to different places. The walls were painted with multi-coloured confetti. On the floor there were tiles with a checkered pattern. In the second hall there were the doors to the toilets, a blue outline of Candy for the boys and a pink outline of Cindy for the girls. There were posters around the place with Candy saying SING! And Cindy saying DANCE!. The entrance hall had a cardboard cut-out of Candy on the side, and it led to my security office. The exit to the restaurant was just opposite the door. I walked in.

There was a calendar on the wall. Below the calendar was a small black fan. There was another poster of Candy and Cindy, above a very old-fashioned computer. A lamp shone onto a toy burger and a newspaper. There were drawers on both sides of the two-legged desk, built into the wall. There was also a phone recorder. I played it to check if there was anything on it. It beeped a couple of times then there was an automated voice: "You have. One. New message." It beeped again.

"Uh, hello? Hi, this is the junior manager. You must be the new security guard." He had a strong American accent. "It's great to finally have someone qualified for the job. I'm the day-guard, so we're sharing the job, in a way. You gotta get some sleep, right? Heh heh. Anyway, we're gonna be a lot busier soon because Fredbear's Family Diner shut down. Y'know, the previous location? Yeah… anyway, we had to shut down the lights to conserve power, so sorry about being in the dark. There's also a maintenance panel next to you, so you can have a look at the cameras around the restaurant. There's this neat thing you can use called night vision mode, which means you can see in the dark through the cameras. There still aren't very well lit spots in each room, but at least it won't all be black. There's also a security feature in the restaurant. This will limit how much power can be used after hours. So I come to my next point: Your doors. Now, you shouldn't need to use them at all, but if you do, it uses up power. There's also a window in front of you; this used to be a customer area. With the window there's also a button you can press to shut it. Once you've run out of power, all of your doors will be open, so at least you won't be stuck there! I think that's everything you need to know for tonight, but I just need to warn you: don't quit the job before your nights are finished. That would be a very bad idea. In fact, it would be a tragedy. Anyway, have a good night." There was a beep and the recording ended.

I started to look through the cameras. Everything (or what I could see) seemed to be in order. I was specifically looking at the animatronics. I felt an odd feeling towards them. Almost as if they were alive. And that was when they slowly turned to face me. I could imagine their heads screeching as they turned to look at the camera. If there was one thing I knew, it was that I was never returning to this place.

I didn't know any of the names of the animatronics, but I could always research them when I got home. I was looking through the cameras and I found a red curtain. It was closed, so I couldn't see who was inside, but there were posters in the room with a picture of an animatronic monkey with green dungarees. When I turned back to the show stage, everything was back to normal. 1am. But then the screen turned to static. I put the cameras down and took a deep breath. I could do this. I put the cameras back up. I could see again. But Cindy was gone.

I found her in the party room next to the kitchen. She had an expressionless face, it looked like she was frozen in a position of passing through the area. Her face was turned to the camera. I checked on Candy and he was just as he was before my shift had started. Nothing else had changed. I had the urge to leave the room, but I knew if I did it would have fatal consequences.

Cindy had moved from the dining room and was making her way towards my right door. She had reached one of the main halls, camera 4. Then there was static and she was at cam 2. She was getting closer. I had nothing to do. I just had to sit there, waiting, while someone was coming to kill me. I could have just shut the door, but I knew I would run down my power if I did. When I checked the show stage again, Candy was gone too.

Cindy was standing outside my door. I could see her looking at me on the cameras and there were two bright white dots in the blackness of my doorway. I wasn't stupid. I shut the door as quickly as I could. Candy had reached cam 6, next to cam 4. He was approaching my right doorway. I couldn't believe I was doing this. I was surviving a savage robot attack. I wasn't able to think how someone could survive 6 of these nights. Fortunately, I was never returning here; I didn't care about that guy's phone message. Anything would be better than this. I couldn't take it. I curled up into a ball on my chair, and rocked myself. A creaking noise went with the rhythm of the chair. I put my head onto my knees and cried. The creaking noise continued. After a few minutes I got a hold of myself and looked at the time. 5:30 am. I sighed. Only half an hour left. I was about to look at the cameras when I realised that I could still hear the creaking noise, although I had stood up.

I looked to my left door. There were two bright white eyes in the doorway. I went to press the button but I wasn't quick enough. He must have been waiting. Candy was in my office. He stared at me with a proud smile on his face and gave me a knowing look. "Ya know, most people at least get to the second night." He had a high-pitched Texas accent. I had no idea he could talk. But, now that I think about it, how else would he entertain the children on stage? "I hear that you don't want to come to the second night." How did he know? "I must say, that would be a bad idea. You don't know what trouble you could get yourself into. I know you're thinking, 'Ooo, but this job is deadly, oh, how am I ever going to survive', but, trust me, it's better than what would happen if you never returned. I'll let you in on something. I'm actually a kid right here." What? "Yep, there's a guy. Who put me in here. I dunno his name, none o' these guys do. We're all kids really. But apparently, if we finally get rid of one of you security guards, then our souls are free. So, sorry about that. But it's true. Cat already left after he killed the last guy. Joe, I think his name was. Anyway, the guy finished him off with a knife after he didn't die from the jumpscare. Just one thing. The guy who killed us, he's purple. Pretty weird, right? Anyway, I think he'll getcha if ya don't come back. Oh, Cindy's gone. I opened the door and, sure enough, she had disappeared. When I turned back to Candy, he had his arms raised, about to attack. "Tricked ya. Ha ha!" He opened his mouth. I shut my eyes. Then the alarm for the clock on my desk went off for 6am. Candy turned to it. "Aw, crap." Then his eyes went black and he crumpled to the floor. I made my way out of the restaurant as quickly, and quietly, as possible.

NIGHT 2

I was a big idiot not to listen to Candy. The moment I got home, trouble started. I don't know how he knew, but he did. When I got back to my house, there was red writing on the front window: "YOU CAN'T". I walked into the living room. The same phrase was on my chair. The TV was on. There was a purple man staring at the screen, smiling. He had a cap with a yellow badge on. The cap had a black rim. "Oh ho. You think you're smart. Why do you think your father finished his job? You think you can just abandon us like that. No. You can't." The screen showed static then there was a loading sign with the words 'loading feed' on the bottom. There was static again, then there was a recording button in the corner of a screen. It looked like a factory. In the bottom-left corner of the screen it said "26 NOV 1982". It was a security camera. The factory had a conveyor belt in the middle of the room, but that was all I could see. The rest was just darkness and wires. But then I saw a face. Like a mask with an unhappy face on it. The mask had blue cheeks. I couldn't see the rest of its body. Then the camera turned right again. When it turned left, the mask was closer. But this time I could see the rest of its body. It was black with white stripes at the arms and legs; a bit like a puppet. The camera turned right again. When it turned left, the puppet's face was right up to the screen. The mask had no eyes, there were just holes. The camera turned right again. But as it did, the puppet jumped into the screen of the camera and there was static. He had burning white eyes. He looked so angry. "That was Tragedy." What Phone Guy said. It would be a tragedy. He'll come into your house if you don't return. Just wait. At that moment I could have sworn I saw a glimpse of a shadow dash past the wall. I turned around and there was no one there. "That's right," he said, "you can't ". I had no choice. I had to return.

I ran as fast as I could into the security office, trying not to look at any of the animatronics. The moment I got into the security office I shut both of the doors and the window. I looked at the cameras. All of the animatronics were back in the positions they were at during the day. I gave a sigh of relief and opened up everything. I played the phone message. "You have. 1. New message." *beep* "Hi again, uh, you did it! I'm proud of you, buddy! Um, there'll be one extra animatronic who also comes out tonight, uh, his name is Chester. The monkey? You probably know him already. Anyway, he'll be at different stages in his curtain before he leaves his room, but when he does he'll come straight to your office. When you see him by the door shut it as quickly as possible. That's pretty much it, the rest is normal. So, good night." There was another beep and the recording ended.

When I checked the show stage again both Cindy and Candy had already left. I could hear a voice in the distance: "Ya came back, huh? Guess ya not completely brainless!" I had a feeling that Candy would be tormenting me for the rest of my nights here. After some flicking through the cameras I found them both at my front window. I just assumed they'd only come by my doors, so I didn't shut the window. Big mistake.

The window slid up and an animatronic hand poked through and waved at me. It was pink. Cindy tried to get another hand in but I pressed the button which made another sheet of metal come down, just like the doors. Her hand froze for a second from the shock of the metal, but it moved again soon. Cindy brought her other hand in through the small slot and pulled on the metal as hard as she could. She managed to bring it up with a LOT of creaking and screeching of metal upon metal. There was a clicking sound and Cindy stood back, admiring what she had just achieved. I took my chance. I shut the window as quickly as I could once she had taken her hands away. Success. I had kept her away, for now.

Candy was at my left door. I shut it the moment I saw the bright white eyes in the darkness. "Aw, come on! Yaw no fun tonight!" I checked the camera where Chester was. He was peeking his head out of the curtains. His eyelids were down halfway; he looked almost bored. But he didn't take his eyes off of the camera. There was something about him, something odd, which I could not get out of my head. That was when I saw it. There was the shadow of someone behind him. And it was purple.

Purple Guy looked at the camera and smiled. He picked up the pad he was writing on. He walked out of the curtain. But Chester saw him walk past. He took a swing at Purple Guy but he ducked and ran. Chester was chasing him. I was so busy trying to find the cameras he was moving across that I didn't have time to notice he was outside my door. Purple Guy ran in and shut the door behind him. "I swear, if you let any of them get me I'll find you. You're lucky I'm not getting you now. If I did, who would be the nightguard? Heh heh." He slid up the front window and slowly made his way the hole, trying to make as little sound as possible. I decided to let him do what he wanted. I wasn't risking myself like that. He got all the way through and ran off into the darkness.

Both Candy and Chester had left my door so I opened them both. It was 5:55. I was near my departure. My power reached zero. It was sudden, I did hadn't thought that I would run it all of the way down. Everything went black. "Gee, and so close too! You should really get a break!" Candy. He walked through my door. "I'm gonna cut the chit chat this time, I don't want you getting loose again." He jumped at me. I leapt off of my chair and narrowly missed him. He crashed to the floor, but got back up again. I ran out of the right door, bumping right into Cindy. She grabbed me by the collar, but then 6am struck. She froze. Everyone froze. I was stuck on the edge of her hand.

I tried to turn around, but I couldn't move. After a few minutes of trying, I gave up. I just hung there. But then Purple Guy came. "You!" "Please, William Afton." He released me from Cindy's grip, then walked back into the darkness. I walked home.

NIGHT 3

When I got home there was another recording on the TV. But it only said "No Video Input". This was the same for about a minute, but then there was static. Tragedy wasn't there, but the conveyor belt was covered in robotic parts and… blood. The recording ended.

I had no idea what it meant, but if it had anything to do with animatronics then I was taking no part in it. I looked at the show stage and both Candy and Cindy were gone. Chester was standing outside of his curtain in the middle of the room, looking at the camera. I put the cameras down and played the phone message. "You have. 1. New message. *beep* "Uh, hello? Hi, uh, well, you've made it to the third night, huh? That's great. Um, there's a couple more animatronics who have been acting up lately, one of them I didn't even think was still in one piece. There's this guy called Blank, um, before he went out of order because of an attack from this crazy security guard, um, it's a long story. He used to be an attraction where kids drew on him, you know, interactive. He's a bit beaten up now. Anyway, he's basically been a bit quirky recently, uh, but it should be fine. If he does come though, he'll probably go through your window, so be careful. You might only have a few seconds to react. And there's the other guy, no one actually knows his original name except the creator of him, but he died, uh, long story again. So everyone just calls him Penguin. He's an animatronic waiter. I think that's everything, so, uh, just keep calm, alright? You're half-way through!" *beep*. The recording ended.

Chester had left his stage. I saw the white eyes at my door and shut it. "Not today". "You came back again! This is great! We'll have so much fun, don'tcha think? Ha ha!" Candy. Again. Then there was a whispering voice. "Hey, Afton, why don't you let me in?" It must have been Chester. But who was Afton? Was it Purple Guy? It must be. Who else? So that was his name. It may come in handy later.

Chester had left the door. I opened it; Candy was at my right. I shut the door. I was on a roll tonight. I checked the drawing room camera for the first time. Blank was on a stand. The guy on the phone had under exaggerated when he said that Blank was beaten up. He had tears all over him. There was also crayon marks all over his body. His teeth went nearly all the way round his head and they were flat and square. He was looking at the floor with his colourless eyes. They were purely white except for his black pupils. The rest of his body was white too, save for the marks and tears. He really was… well… blank.

On the parts and service camera everything seemed normal. The heads were all on their shelves. But when I looked closer I could see one of the doors was slightly open. And there was an eye looking at the camera. Static appeared and it disappeared. After looking through the cameras for a while I found him in the dining room with the kitchen door open. It was Penguin. He had a black tuxedo with a red bow tie with bright orange eyes. When I checked the drawing room again, Blank was looking at the camera.

Candy had left my door. "Hey, you've improved at this! Been practisin'? Ha ha!" Candy would not shut up. I was starting to get tired of him. "I know, dawg. I'm never quiet!" How did he know what I was thinking? But I shouldn't have worried about that then. Because Penguin was in my office.

I couldn't believe I didn't notice him at the door. Because he was considerably shorter than the other animatronics, his eyes must have been lower down in the darkness. I was only used to looking at eye level. He waddled under my desk in a little hole and looked at me. "May I take your order." He said in a pre-recorded voice. It was a deep male voice. I jumped back in my chair. He held out his flipper with a serviette on. "May I take your order," he said again, "May I take your order, may I take your order." He waddled towards me. This animatronic must not have a child inside of it. It wasn't trying to kill me, and its voice was not human. I ignored it and checked my doors. But I couldn't. Penguin stopped me from using my power. I could have sworn I saw him smile. "May I take your order." He said again. "Um, can I have, um, uh, a burger?" I asked quizzically, hoping that would get rid of him. Then he actually waddled off and out of the door. The power worked again and at just the right moment, too. Cindy was at my right door. I shut it as quickly as I could.

Blank was standing off his stand, looking straight at the camera. He looked tired. But the camera showed static, and he was gone. I put down the cameras. I shut the window, remembering what the guy on the phone said. There was a clanking sound and the lights flickered for a second, but then everything was back to normal. Had he really just punched the metal? If I hadn't had shut the window, that would have been a powerful smash. When I checked the drawing room again, Blank was back on his stand.

6:00am struck and I walked out of the pizzeria. Another success. But I felt there was more dread to come.

NIGHT 4

I watched the recording again. It still had the same belt, but there was police tape all around the blood. Tragedy was back where he had been on the first night though. The camera moved left and right this time, and when it moved back to the left again, Tragedy was closer than usual. But his mask was twitching. The camera moved right again, but this time Tragedy didn't move in front of the screen, it just showed static. These clips were starting to get a little weird.

I walked into the security office and played the phone message: "Uh, hey, uh, something's happened during the day with the animatronics, uh, there was this guy. You know the guy I was talking about who attacked Blank? Uh, well, he came back to the restaurant. It wasn't pretty. It seems that all of the animatronics, well, recognised him. I know, it's weird right? They all walked towards him, but he ran further into the restaurant. Unfortunately for him, uh, right into the drawing room too. Blank woke up immediately and went for him. He missed and ran away again, uh, but he never left the restaurant. He's still in there somewhere. And that means that all of the other animatronics that have been scrapped, uh, they'll be active too. So, uh, there's Old Candy and Old Cindy and Old Chester, uh, they'll all come out of the Parts and Service room. So, uh, be careful. Their eyes aren't bright. You won't be able to see them at the doors. Good night."

There were more animatronics in this building? I'd actually lost count of them. Wasn't this meant to be the second location? That means there were meant to be more of Candy's animatronics in the first one: Fredbear's Family Diner. I checked Parts and Service and, sure enough, a large dark brown monkey came out of the shadows.

He was twice the size of the normal Chester, and far darker. His joints were visible and his dark green dungarees had wires sticking out of them. His eyes had literally been taken out of him, leaving two metal holes in his face. The camera didn't show static when he moved, I could just watch him walk out of the room. He then stopped and looked at the camera. I checked the drawing room and Blank was already gone. I looked at the camera in front of my window. Big mistake. Blank rotated back, then forward with his fist out. There was a crash. My window was broken; I had forgotten to shut it. Blank walked towards me in the dark. But I had to run out. He just missed me as I ran out of the left door. I was going to Parts and Service, but then Old Chester walked out and stopped me. I slowly walked back in the other direction then went into New Chester's room. Fortunately he wasn't there so I hid in the curtain and went into the corner. It was dark and empty and sent a chill down my spine. There was rustling outside. I tried to further hide in the darkness. The rustling was getting louder. I waited. Then the curtains opened. Old Chester was standing there. And his face turned left and right. But then he turned back. Of course. He didn't have eyes. He was just checking for movement. It must have been the same for the other old animatronics. I slowly made my way out of the curtain, but that was when I saw Candy standing right there looking at me. "Haw, you thought you were all A OK, huh? Take a rain check on that!" He lunged at me and hit my arm. I was pinned to the floor. I was winging my arm against his, but it was useless. He then raised it to punch me. I took my chance, got up and scampered off into the next room. "Come back! It's not over yet!" But I wasn't listening to any of that. I ran into the drawing room because I knew that Blank was in my office. Penguin was there. "May I take your order." "A burger. Oh, and don't make it snappy." He left again.

I hid behind a desk of drawers in the drawing room. "Phew. They are really chaotic tonight." said a voice. It was close. It was the man who Phone Guy was talking about. The man who never left the restaurant. "And I bet the security guard might see me on those flipping cameras too. Well, too bad for them, 'cos where they're going they won't be able to see or hear. Heh heh." And that guy was out to get me too. Great. I stayed as quiet as I could, and eventually he left. I sighed with relief and came out of my hiding place. There was so much to keep track of. And now an actual human in the mix, too. This was starting to get crazy. Blank came back into the drawing room. I slowly crawled past him behind the desk of drawers as he got back on his stand and shut his eyelids. I crept past into the dining room. Old Cindy was there. She was a very dark purple with misty grey highlights. Her absence of eyes led to dark purple holes which almost made her look like she was built to be blind. Her teeth were unnecessarily sharp, showing a huge gaping hole with red tinges at the back of her mouth. She was disgusting to say the least. She limped towards me with one leg disjointed. It was like seeing a zombie. I didn't dare to take my eyes off of her. But I still managed to run in the opposite direction.

"Why hello there." I had run right into the guy who never left. "I thought I would see you in the security office, but I guess you're too dumb for that, huh? At least that room's got doors." I slowly tried to back away. But he grabbed me by the front of my shirt. "You better watch out here, buddy, 'cos this is my territory you're walking all over. One step out of place, and I'm gonna come find ya. I know how to fiddle with these animatronics. They do what I want them to." "Doesn't seem like it", I said, "If they're out to get you." "I mean I can program them not to, idiot. And I might make them a little more aggressive tomorrow night. But for now…" 6am came. I walked out of the restaurant. 4 down. 2 more to go.

NIGHT 5

I received my daily recording from Tragedy. He was pointing at the conveyor belt with one of his long, spindly fingers. The camera moved to the right. Candy and Cindy were there, leaning against each other. They were looking at the floor. The camera turned left again. Tragedy was gone. The camera turned right. Candy and Cindy were looking at the camera. There was static. It ended.

I walked into the security office and noticed that the window had been replaced. The phone started ringing. You have. Two. New messages. Two? "Hello? Hi, there's just one last thing. Um, you may have noticed the brown door in Chester's room, uh, it's not on the map because, it's really nothing special. It's just a storage room or something. No one really goes in there, I mean, even I haven't. But, yeah, I just wanted to let you know. Just so, y'know, it's not a mistake or anything. Have a good night." *beep* The other message played. There was a static sound. It was a deep, muffled voice. "Drol eht ma I. doG yht fo eman eht enaforp uoht llahs rehtieN. Yleslaf eman ym yb raews ton llahs uoy. Rehtona eno ot eil ron, yleslaf laed ron, laets ton llahs uoy." What was that? The second message. It was just gibberish. And the accent, too. So hard to understand. And what was the brown door in Chester's room? Just for storage? Not likely. I checked the cameras. Both Candy and Cindy were already gone. Chester had left his stage. Old Chester was already in Chester's room. Old Cindy was in the dining area. This was going to be a long night.

I saw Old Candy in the Parts and Service room. He was a dark blue with turquoise highlights. He, as well as the other older animatronics, had no eyes. His joints were visible, dark grey, and his mouth was slightly dislocated with white, blunt teeth. Then there was static and he was gone.

I checked the cameras. Old Chester was at my door. But when I looked, there was no illumination of their white eyes. Of course. They didn't have any eyes. This would make things more difficult. I shut the door and looked at the cameras. Old Cindy was still in the dining area, but in a different position. She was hiding underneath a table. Looking at something. And that was when I saw the edge of a finger on the left of the camera. He was back.

I didn't know what to do. He wasn't an animatronic. But the actual ones seemed to be scared of him. As if he was trying to… reprogram them. Just like he said he would. The finger moved from the camera and disappeared. I skimmed through the cameras. When I was looking at the drawing room I saw he had vanished. I quickly shut my front window. Immediately afterwards there was a clunking sound and the lights flickered. I was safe, for now.

There were footsteps coming in my direction. Then running. I shut the left door. And there was a lot of banging. It was the reprogrammer guy. "Come on, I was close there! You can't hide here forever! Oh. Hello there. I guess you want to occupy this door, huh? I-I guess I'll be on my way." There was footsteps becoming fainter, but I still knew there was an animatronic there. I looked at the cameras just to check and there was Chester. He then walked away. Alone again.

The brown door in Chester's room was slightly open. And there was a brown animatronic hand was holding on the edge. Then that man came into the room. He waved at the camera and pointed to the hand. Then he put his hand in front of his neck. He went into the curtain and was gone for about a minute. Then he came out with Chester's arm and head. Oh no. He had killed him. There was a child in there. He shouted so I could hear: "Last time I never finished my job. I think it's time to now."

I opened my left door and front window. Candy was at my right. I shut it. He was much more quiet tonight. "Please help us," He whispered, "I swear, we didn't mean any of this. We didn't mean for him to do this things. We didn't mean to cause so much trouble. Just please, help us." "You tried to kill me." I replied. "And he's trying to kill us. Can we not set our differences aside?" I didn't say anything. I looked at the cameras. Old Cindy's head was on the table. Her eyelids were closed but I knew there was nothing beneath. I looked at the show stage. Cindy. Her body was standing there normally, but there were wires sticking out from where her head used to be. "Please," said Candy, "Please, just try. Please. We're just kids." I sighed. "OK." I had made my decision. "Thank you." But don't help The Rat." I thought I could easily assume who The Rat was. The brown hand behind the storage door. But was he the speaker of that message of gibberish? Probably. Who else could it be? Candy left my door. "Thank you." The voice faded into the darkness.

It was upsetting to say the least. How ruthless this man was with the animatronics. Penguin waddled over to him. "May I take your order." The man just smiled. He grabbed Penguin's head, picking up his body with him. You could see the animatronic squirming, as if trying to get away. The man ripped his head apart, just as 6am came. He looked at the camera and smiled. "Don't worry", he said, "I'll be back tomorrow."

As I walked to the back door I worked out that the only animatronics left were Old Candy, Candy, Old Chester, Blank and The Rat and Tragedy; yet I had never seen him actually in the restaurant. Tomorrow night would be my last but one of the worst; I had a feeling.

NIGHT 6

Hopefully my last recording from Tragedy came up on my TV yesterday. Blank and Old Candy were far newer than usual on the conveyor belt and the camera was black and white. Tragedy came up to the screen until his face fully covered it. It flashed "MY MISTAKE" in a child's handwriting on the screen. Then, somehow, he came even closer and it said: "YOUR PROBLEM". What was he talking about? I had no idea, and I don't to this day.

I played the phone recording after an uneventful walk to the security office. You have. One. new message. "Hey, uh, didn't you get the message. Candy's Burgers and Fries is shutting down, so, uh, you didn't have to come. Someone destroyed all of the animatronics except for some of the old ones and Candy. Uh, just make it through the night, then, uh, you're free to go. G'night." It ended. I never got any message. If I did though., I still would have come. I remember what the guy on my screen said after the first night. I can't.

That man was at my left door again. "Come on, let me iiin! I swear I won't do anything." That was the worst lie I had ever heard. I shut the door. And looked at the cameras. The Rat was out of his door. He had holes all over his light brown suit and there were small empty sockets where his eyes should have been. He had small, round ears and two buck teeth with a horrifying smile. His joints were all the more visible compared to other animatronics and he was a lot more scary. He walked out of the room. I had a feeling there was a reason why Candy wanted him gone.

"I would camp out, but the monkey prefers the spot." Old Chester was at my door as the man left. "Candy?" I asked. He was behind me: if I was going to protect the animatronics he may as well help me do my job too. "Yeah?" "Should I let him in?" "No. The old ones don't think clearly." Old Chester walked away and I opened the door again. We looked at the cameras. I must say, Candy was far better at spotting things than I was. "Rat's in the corner. You can see the edge of his foot in the darkness. The guy's there too. He's got a weapon." It was true. The man was holding an axe. He walked forward into the next room. "Change to camera 2." I did as I was told. Candy obviously had the restaurant memorised. The man walked towards Old Chester. And swung his axe at him. The weapon lodged into the left side of Old Chester's dungarees. He stumbled forward then fell to the floor. "No. Not another. There's nearly no one left." It sounded like Candy was in tears, but his face stayed completely emotionless, as usual. I felt so sorry for him. Dead, yet someone was attempting to kill him again. Only the Candies, Blank, the Rat and Tragedy were left. "I'm just gonna leave for a while." said Candy, and he ran back through the right door.

The man was in my security office. I wasn't paying attention. "I'm gonna be taking over the cameras from now." He shoved me out of the room and shut both doors. I banged on the door. "Let me back in!" "Sorry, no can do. Bye!" I was out in the restaurant with no way back into the only safe spot, except for Chester's stage. Chester wasn't even there any more. I opened the curtains and hid inside. Almost immediately afterwards there were footsteps coming closer and closer. The curtains opened and there was a brown hand behind. Rat.

He gave an extra large smile at me and spoke gibberish again: "uoy t'ndid, ti htiw yawa teg dluow uoy thguoht uoy?" He took a swing at me, just as all of the animatronics have done, but he was faster. I didn't have time to dodge. He got me squarely in the stomach and I crumpled to the floor. He was about to take a final punch when a blue hand held him back. Candy. "Not yet you don't, cheesy! Come on, run!" I took my chance and ran into the drawing room, where Blank was. He just looked at me. Then turned back to the floor on his stand. But then he got off. And walked toward the security office. I followed him. The left door was open. Old Candy's arm was sticking out of the darkness. That was all I needed to know. Blank smashed the window, and I heard a voice: "I was going to save you last, escapee, but I guess you can go a little earlier." There was a banging and crashing, then Blank's head came out. I gasped. "Oh! Hello!" The man said. "I didn't know you were watching." He slung his axe over his shoulder and walked towards me. I ran. "You can't hide from me forever!" But I could try. I found Candy and went with him. "He's coming." "I know." He slowly walked round the corner. "Ooh, killing two birds with one stone, how delightful! That only leaves two to go. I-" There was a thwacking sound and he fell to the floor. Tragedy was behind him. He just watched us. "Thanks Tragedy." Said Candy, relieved. But he shook his head. There were footsteps behind us. Rat.

He grabbed Candy by the head. "No! NO! Not now! We were so close to victory. Why?" Rat turned his head until it came loose and his body clunked to the ground. Rat was shouting the same thing over and over again: "Egnever! Egnever! Egnever!" He ran off into the darkness. I never saw him again. Tragedy just looked at me. Then his mask started twitching again. And it turned. Slowly the mask turned around to reveal another face. It had red cheeks and a smile. A full-on smile. Suddenly, the tune: 'Pop goes the weasel' started echoing around the room. And he floated backwards into the darkness. That's when I realised that there was blood coming from the man's head. He was dead. And I was all alone.

EPILOGUE

Now I regret ever accepting that place as the nightguard. All it did was traumatise me and cause me to do what I did. I didn't know what to say when I found out that Mike and Bill went to the other locations and what had happened to Dad when he went to the first location. If I had stopped where I really continued, then none of the horrible things would have happened which did. If I had stopped returning to this place, then those which happened at that supposed final location would not have happened. It haunted me, the sight of passing away. But I did what I could. And now I am at peace. So I say thank you.

It would be a Tragedy, wouldn't it?

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDBEAR'S

READER'S NOTE

To all FNAF fans,

These books are not supposed to suit the real Five Nights at Freddy's storyline but they are made purely for your entertainment. Some aspects are part of the real thing but most are not. You may find some of my very own theories but these are not especially important. Some other parts of the story will be out of date in terms of FNAF lore because it's near impossible to be able to update every single thing to the current proven theory. If you want to read my other books their titles are:

"Five Nights at Freddy's"

"Five Nights At Freddy's 2"

"Five Nights At Freddy's 3"

"Five Nights At Candy's"

"Sister Location"

"Fazbear"

I have not included FNAF 4, FNAF World or FNAF 6 in this series because I believe they lack the ability to tell a good story. There will be info which could have been gained from them in my other stories instead and I have created my own animatronics as well for one of the books in the series.

Enjoy,

Felix Adler

PROLOGUE

I am the father of three children: Mike Schmidt, Bill Schmidt and Marilyn Schmidt. I have a wife called Sarah. That is what I would have said before it all happened: after Bill went to his location. But now everything has changed. I am the father of two children: Bill Schmidt and Mary Schmidt. My third child left me for something far more… sinister. My wife: something happened to her too. I was the night guard for the first Fazbear Entertainment location: Fredbear's Family Diner. There was a yellow bear and a yellow bunny called Fredbear and Spring Bonnie. I think I should change those names to names that you would know: Golden Freddy and Springtrap.

It was 6 nights at the restaurant on the 12am to the 6am shift for me to get my paycheck. There was also these things called animatronics. They were robots based on animals and were a new idea to the robotic world. Fredbear's Family Diner used these animatronics for the entertainment of children. They would originally be up on a stage but they were allowed to walk around, shake hands with the kids, give them balloons, stuff like that. That was until the Bite of 1983. Then their movements were restricted after my shift stopped. But that left them loose in the night.

NIGHT 1

The restaurant was quite small and it didn't take me long to reach the security office. It was a fairly open space with two vents above me, there were buttons next to them. Ahead was a dark tunnel in front of me. That was where I came in. The office held a black leather chair and a wooden desk. On the desk was a black telephone with a dial and everything. There was a recording button too and I pressed play: "Uh, hello? Hi, welcome to your new job as the night guard for Fredbear's Family Diner. Now, there are a few things you need to know. Firstly, the animatronics tend to… wander, a bit."

I was starting to think about why they needed a night guard for a restaurant. And it was understandable why they would be able to move: they did it during the day, so why not at night? The voice continued: "So they might try to come into your office." That was a bit more of a problem. "Now, before I come onto that topic, you'll need to know the different animatronics. On the main stage there are Fredbear and Spring Bonnie. These are the most important characters for the kids' entertainment; that's why they're on the biggest stage. On the side stage there's Rat and Cat. They're made of some sort of leather and they used to talk until their voice boxes kind of… reversed. Now they can only speak backwards and it's, uh, kinda creepy. So we just programmed them to stop talking altogether because, uh, they might freak the kids out. Finally there is the animatronic who just stays near the dining tables and laughs. Her name's JJ, or Balloon Girl." That was a lot to take in.

"Now, if any of the animatronics come near your office, you've got a few ways to stop them. You may have noticed the vents above you, with buttons next to them, right? Well, Spring Bonnie might try and come through those, uh, no one really knows why. If you press the button in time then it will shut the vent, but you can only shut one vent at a time. You've got unlimited power for the vents and your cameras, which are connected to a laptop. There is a flashlight but you have to use it wisely throughout the night. The flashlight and the laptop are in the drawer in your desk." I opened up the drawer and, sure enough, they were both there. "So yeah, Spring Bonnie comes through the vents, who's next… Oh yeah, Fredbear. Now' he'll come off stage a lot less, so you don't need to worry about him much. But if he does and reaches your office, then just put up your cameras and pretend he's not there; that means he should go away again. For Cat and Rat, shine your light in the tunnel and that should scare them off. Cat might be a little harder to get rid of, but if you flash him enough, it should be fine. Lastly is JJ. If she leaves the dining area, then just look at that camera until she returns to her original position. I know the information is a lot to take in, but this is just so you don't have to listen to phone call every night. That would be overdoing it, wouldn't it? Have a good night." The call ended.

Why did there have to be so many animatronics? It was so hard to keep track of all of them. Not to mention I was terrified of what they would do to me. I decided not to come back for a second night, but when I got home afterwards, I think you know what happened. At the end of each night I got the same camera clips as Marilyn and got the same threat from the same Purple Guy. They were used as a warning to what would happen if we quit the job. Except he wasn't purple until near the end of my job. I found it so hard not to tell any of my family what had happened at that place, but everything descended into chaos anyway. I miss them so much.

No one had moved from their original position yet, until I looked at the show stage again. Fredbear was looking at the camera and Spring Bonnie was gone. There were only five cameras in the restaurant: one for the main hall (just before my tunnel), one for the show stage, one for the dining area, one for the side-stage and one for the entrance to the vent. Spring Bonnie was at the entrance to the vent, smiling at the camera. There was static and he was gone. I quickly put the cameras down and saw him at the left vent. I shut the vent and he banged on the metal. There was the sound of more crawling back through the vents, but I left the vent shut; if it was unlimited then I didn't have to do anything with it. Spring Bonnie was in the dining area, leaning back on a chair at one of the party tables. It almost looked like he was having fun. When I checked the show stage again Fredbear had left. He was in the main hall, half-limping towards the tunnel in front of me. By the time I had put down the cameras he was in my office, so I popped them up again and he was gone.

Spring Bonnie was now in my right vent, so I swapped the metal sheet. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me!" "You can talk?" "Of course I can! Why else would I have a mouth?" Did this mean all of them could talk? I asked. "Yes! Did you take us all for idiots or something? And we're going to come get you!" Oh. I had had a glimpse of hope there. They were still going to try to kill me. "Fortunately for you, I feel like helping the night guard too. Just to make it a little more difficult for me to get you. Get ready. Each of us get a lot more active each night." "How do you know all of this? It's meant to be the first location." "That's arguable. See you tomorrow night." The grandfather clock in the side-stage room struck 6am and all of the animatronics powered down. I walked out of the pizzeria to face Tragedy. That week was the worst of my life.

Spring Bonnie

NIGHT 2

I walked into the security office just as 12am struck on the grandfather clock. Spring Bonnie had left the show stage, but apart from that everything was in order. Spring Bonnie was in the dining area, watching Fredbear. Every sound in the building echoed around the restaurant, so I could hear everything anyone said, even if they didn't mean for me to do so. "Come on, buddy. We need to be free. Come on. We need to. Cat and Rat aren't even moving. I don't even know if JJ can move. We're all new here. We don't know anyone. I mean, I'm the only one who's been to the real first location. And even I don't know where those ones are now. Our souls need to be freed." Then Fredbear replied.

"We can't. I tried yesterday. Someone told him how to do everything, and we're just robots. We can't stop our programming." "But we have souls inside of us. We can at least try to get him off-guard-" "No. We shouldn't. It's selfish. We shouldn't take the lives of other people just to free our own." "Fine. I'll wait for you to change your mind again. I'm going in." Spring Bonnie turned around and left the room. He entered the left vent and I shut it. "Come on, let me in!" "Why would you carry on asking me if you know the answer?" "Good point." He left again.

Fredbear seemed to have changed his mind and was in the dining area sorting out the chairs. His face formed the expression of sadness. When he was done he walked through the main hall and into my office. He was right in front of me so I quickly put down the cameras and put them up again. I caught a glimpse of him in the process. He was looking at the wall with wide eyes. When I looked in the same direction, there was an animatronic on the wall. It was white with pink highlights, with the head slightly resembling a fox. Its parts were sprawled all over the rest of its body. It was such a… mangle. It crawled up the side of the wall, across the ceiling and disappeared.

Spring Bonnie was at the vent again. I switched the metal sheet and he left without talking almost immediately.

I had no idea what that animatronic was, and I don't to this day, except for the fact that it appeared again at Bill's first location. There was suddenly a voice, like if it was over a loudspeaker: "Hello, Robert Schmidt. My name is William Afton. I perform in Fredbear in the day and am, in fact, the owner of this location." Why would he say this location. Of course. Spring Bonnie mentioned another one before. That made sense. I was starting to piece together more of this story. "The way that the two main suits work (Fredbear and Spring Bonnie) is that they have two modes: a costume mode and an animatronic mode. However only an experienced employee will know how to use the costume mode. There are certain things called spring locks. Now these will activate if any unusual motion triggers are activated in the costume. The locks will drill into the person's body, slowly and steadily killing them." Seemed like an unnecessary safety precaution. "So I deeply recommend you do not put them into costume mode. Also, JJ. She won't kill you, obviously. She's too nice and purple… don't you love the colour purple? Anyway, watch out for her, she can still be dangerous. Cat and Rat don't have a costume mode, they were a small idea just before the restaurant opened. Neither does JJ, but she's too small anyway. I think that's all I need to tell you. Good night."

Fredbear was at the side-stage, staring at Cat and Rat. I then saw he had a screwdriver in his hands. He went up to the stage and started tampering with Rat. Suddenly the animatronic's arm started spinning at a ridiculously fast pace, almost becoming a blur. It abruptly stopped, his head twitched a bit, then he was back into the position he was in before. Fredbear left the room and came down my hallway. I put up the cameras, put them down again for him to appear in my office, then put the cameras back up. He was gone and had returned to the show stage, looking straight ahead. He was watching Spring Bonnie. I switched to the dining area and the animatronic was assembling and taking apart tables, making some sort of object. "There." He had made some sort of log-shaped cylinder. "A battering ram for that damned vent!" He picked it up and took it to the vent entrance. He slotted it through the right hole and gave a huge push. I shut the vent, but the battering ram smashed through it and the metal sheet clanked to the ground. The battering ram was dragged back through the vents. "It worked! It actually worked. Fredbear, come look at this!" Fredbear walked off stage. "Are you crazy? It's 5:30 and if the dining area is as messed up as this, then the night guard's gonna be fired and we'll be thrown out! Come on, put everything back together. I watched them for the next fifteen minutes reassembling all of the tables. They had nearly finished when I heard footsteps coming in my direction. I put the cameras down. Rat was standing there, with his black eye sockets and smiling mouth, his head still twitching as he looked down at me. I fell off my chair in surprise. Rat walked relentlessly towards me. He may have not been able to change the expression on his face, but I knew that on the inside he was smiling too. To my great relief, 6am struck, Rat and all of the others powered down and Fredbear and Spring Bonnie had just finished cleaning up the dining area. I ran out of the restaurant, the sunrise giving the building a warm, orange light. A luring, deceiving and luring anyone into a false sense of security before catching them, sweeping them away, never to be seen again.

Fredbear

NIGHT 3

I returned to the security office at 12am sharp. I knew there would be consequences if I was late. I saw that the vent door hadn't been replaced when I heard William Afton over the speakers again. "I just thought that if there's damage done, then you'll have to suffer for it. Seems fair, right?" No. "Anyway, it doesn't really matter what you think. Good luck with the night." That would make avoiding Spring Bonnie a lot harder.

I had barely started the shift when Spring Bonnie was crawling through the vents. I had an idea. I grabbed the metal which hadn't been moved since the night before, sat back in my chair and waited for him to poke his head through the vents. "Boo!" Here was my chance. I threw the metal and it hit him squarely in the face. "Ow!" He shouted as he slid back through the vents. "There is no grip in this vent! I'm gathering momentum!" I looked at the entrance to the vent on the cameras and he rocketed into Rat and they both collapsed on the floor. Spring Bonnie started moaning but Rat immediately got back up and carried on walking towards my hall. I put down the cameras and shone the light in his eyes. He covered his face with one of his arms and crouched down, making some sort of hissing noise. He then stood back up, staring straight ahead, and walked back to the side-stage. This animatronic was far more robotic in his movements than the others.

Fredbear was in my hallway. I was ready to quickly put the cameras back up again after I put them down, but he hadn't come in yet. Then he walked right up to me when I was watching him. "Don't put your cameras up yet," he said with a serious expression. I listened. "I'm not able to fight the programming which you use to get rid of me when I'm in your office, but I still find it hard to be able to fight the programming which kills you either, so I have to be quick. This only counts for me and Spring Bonnie because we're the only springlock suits. There is a yellow switch on our right shoulders, which turn us into, well, costume mode, if you will. If you flick this switch, we will be unable to move unless someone goes into our suit and takes control of us. All of the animatronics in this building find it beyond their programming to flick this switch. If you manage to do this, then we will be out of your way for the rest of the six nights. I regret activating Rat to get you, I'm an idiot. Because now he'll activate Cat and JJ. I can't speak to you any longer, otherwise, you know…" He shut his eyes, almost in pain, and left.

I put the cameras up and saw Spring Bonnie on a chair, his legs round the back of it. He was staring at the floor, thinking. He got up and went into the entrance to the vent. I picked up the metal and got ready to throw it again. He poked his head round the end of the vent and I threw it. He caught the metal in one precise and swift movement. "You think I'd fall for the same thing twice? Ha! Just because I'm a robot it doesn't mean I can't learn." He threw it to the ground, got out of the vent and walked towards me. He started to develop more of a fierce expression. I slowly walked towards him too, as if to confront him. We stopped face to face, next to the dropped metal. I put my foot on the metal and, after a couple of seconds, quickly crouched down and grabbed it in my hands. Spring Bonnie took a swing at me, but he only hit too high and ended up toppling over my back. When he got back up I had made good distance and I threw the metal like a frisbee. It hit him on the head with a dull thud. He fell to the ground. There was the yellow switch on his shoulder, just like Fredbear said there would be. I flicked it. There were lots of mechanical noises, which I assumed were his parts retreating for the space in the costume. If he stayed like that for the rest of the six nights, then I would be good to go.

Rat was back in my hallway. I flicked my light at him a couple of times and he went through the same procedure as last time. But then he continued walking towards me. I flashed the light at him again and again. But it only slowed him down. He just went through the same procedure and carried on walking. I hid under the table. I heard him speak: "Em morf edih t'nac uoy." The backwards talk. He flipped the desk and it landed behind him. I had my hands on my head and was crouching down. I looked up at him. That same smile. His tail was swinging from side to side. But not like a robot. Like a living thing. It was swift, not abrupt, smooth. It was long and slender. It then came round the front of his body. It hit me and I was knocked against the wall. 6am struck, but Rat did not stop. He ran towards me at full speed, his smile seeming to grow larger but I knew it had stayed the same. He tried to crush me with his foot, but I rolled out of the way just in time. I climbed into the vent; he was too big to fit in there. He looked inside the cold, dark shaft that I was in, and he reached his arm into the vent. As he put more and more of himself in, he managed to squeeze into the small space. He was like a block. But, I must say, he did prove me wrong about getting in. I crawled as fast as I could. He was gaining on me. I burst out of the vent and ran for the door. I managed to shut the door just in time. Rat was banging on the glass. I slowly backed away and got into my car. Another successful night. Long may that continue.

The Rat

NIGHT 4

I noticed that Spring Bonnie wasn't on stage tonight. That's when I heard Afton over the speakers again. "After deciding that anything that happened in the restaurant was for you to endure the next night, I reluctantly kept my side of the deal with Spring Bonnie. I would say goodnight, but I'm not in the mood." He was angry. Angry that I had finally started to work out what to do. I looked at the side-stage and I saw Rat with his long, delicate fingers tampering with The Cat's machinery. The Cat went through the same procedure as Rat did. His body started twitching, then went still. Rat moved back to his position on-stage. They both stayed in position for a few minutes. But after that Cat started to move. But instead of walking like all of the other animatronics did, he got down on all fours. He was far faster than any of the others. I would have to be more precise on the timing when he came down my hall. Once I heard scampering coming close, I flashed the light down the hall. The animatronic shut his eyes and fell to the floor. He then got up again, walked a small bit towards me, then made an abnormal leap into the vent and zoomed through it. When I looked at the dining area camera, he was jumping from desk to desk, then walking around in circles, almost prowling. He was fast. Almost too fast.

I flashed Rat down the hallway, and he went through his procedure and back to the side-stage. Fredbear was in the dining area. He was noticeably wary of Cat. It seemed to me that Cat and Rat didn't have personalities, didn't have souls inside of them. This was a topic which I hadn't thought about much. The first time I was interrupted by that Mangle. But what did Spring Bonnie mean by when he said that they had souls inside of them. Did that mean that there were actual people inside of these animatronics? Who would do such a thing? Were they alive? They couldn't be. Afton told me: the spring locks would activate. How old were the people? These were all questions which I needed the answer to. And I knew who to ask.

I waited for Fredbear to appear in my office. Then I went under the desk. I could hear him whispering, like he had gritted teeth. "What are you doing?" He leaped at where I was just sitting on my desk, I assumed his programmed attempt to kill me, and crashed into the wall. I quickly moved he desk into him so he couldn't get back up. "What the hell?" He was angry. "I just need to ask some questions," I replied. "Oh. OK, shoot."

"Is it correct that you have a soul inside of you?"

"Oh. Well, yes."

I prepared myself for the information that I could find out. "How many other animatronics in this building have a soul inside of them?"

"To my knowledge, just Spring Bonnie. I'm not sure about JJ. Cat and Rat don't. They just have a… a dark entity inside of them. There's also that animatronic that we don't know the name of. It just… crawls around the walls and ceiling sometimes, then disappears."

The Mangle. "As there are souls inside of you, does that mean there are bodies too?"

"Yes."

"How old are the bodies?"

"In terms of how old we were when we were killed, both Spring Bonnie and I were 5. But our bodies have been in here for a while now. I don't know how long."

That was depressing. Who would kill these children? "Who killed you?"

He paused for a moment. "William Afton."

No. That must mean that he was trying to kill me too. I would make sure not to listen to him again. There was a noise nearby, but I decided to ignore it for now. "I'm going to flick the switch on your shoulder now. OK?"

"Go for it." I did as I said I would. He shut his eyes and went into costume mode. I put my desk back to where it was and sat back in my chair. Then I realised what the noise was.

It was too late. Cat was in my office. I picked up the metal sheet from the vent and threw it at him, hoping it would do something. It bounced off him and he didn't even flinch. As he ran towards me he broke the desk in half. My chair fell backwards and, luckily, I just managed to stop my head from hitting the ground. I got up and ran down the hallway, flashlight in hand. It was dark. I ran into Rat and he held me, arms behind my back. "Tsiser t'nod." Rat said as Cat came running towards me at a ridiculous pace. Just before he crashed into me I jumped. It turned out that Rat's grip wasn't very strong for such flexible fingers, and Cat was running so fast that he zoomed past while I was still mid-air. They crashed into each other, quickly got back up again. 6am struck and Cat stopped, but Rat didn't. He tumbled over Cat and they both fell to the floor again. I left the building as quickly as I could. Once the doors were closed behind me, I saw a figure at the door. It was JJ. Right up against the glass. Watching me with huge, unblinking eyes. I didn't take my eyes off of her as I got into my car and drove away.

The Cat

NIGHT 5

My wife was concerned. I was clearly in an odd mood after what had just happened over the past 4 days. She then saw the Tragedy clip and asked me what was happening at my job. I said it wasn't dangerous. She didn't believe me. We both went to sleep and I woke up at midnight and went to work.

When I got to the restaurant JJ had moved from her position last night. I didn't see any animatronics on the way to my office. Until I got into the office. JJ was standing on the chair staring at me with her wide eyes. "Lollipop." What? I turned around. There was a lollipop animatronic in a sailor's suit. He had a gigantic grin. "Hee hee hee." I blinked and they were both gone. But there was a sign on my desk. 'Stay away from this room.' Fredbear and Spring Bonnie were lying against the wall at either side of the room. Cat came running down the hall and knocked me to the floor. But he carried on running and crashed into Fredbear. He started attacking the suit and ripping apart the pieces like a wild animal. He then moved onto Spring Bonnie and did the same. I could now see body parts of the children sticking out in various places of the animatronic suits. It looked like Cat was breathing heavily, but he clearly wasn't as he wouldn't need to breathe. I ran out of the room; his smile still imprinted in my head.

I went into the dining area. Then I heard Afton's voice over the speakers: "Hey, I got some sweet new purple tattoos. I've decided I'm gonna call myself Purple Guy from now on: it has a ring to it, doesn't it?" It wasn't really necessary for me to know, so I ignored that message until Mike told me he had a Purple Guy at his location. I knew they were the same person from the very beginning.

Rat had left the side-stage and I went out looking for him (for some reason). He found me in an off-camera room, near the show stage, presumably backstage. I was somehow lost in quite a small location. "Niaga rehto hcae otni depmub ev'ew; latnedecnioc woh." He tried to swing his tail at me, but was too fast. I jumped over the fifth limb and it continued to swing, which ended up with the tail wrapping itself around Rat's legs and knocking him over. Some skill there. When I ran back into the dining area JJ was standing next to one of the tables. We stared at each other for a moment. Then she smiled and looked slightly away from me. I turned around. Cat ran me down and tried to hit me with his paw. I was being battered by the full force of the animatronic. Then I heard JJ say "Lollipop". The smile vanished from Cat's face as he turned around to see the peppermint-like monstrosity that was standing before him. Lollipop laughed. It was horrifyingly deep and it showed what power he had. It was long and gathered more volume as he went on. Cat scarpered. I had never seen him run so fast. Then I saw Lollipop as well, and ended up running away faster than he did. He had black sockets and his whole face was streaked with red. This was already my least favourite animatronic. Ever.

I was on my own in a room I had not seen before. But I heard moving. More like the sound of someone being dragged than them moving of their own accord. That's when I noticed Tragedy floating towards me, with Fredbear and Spring Bonnie behind him. He gave a high-pitched scream and I was stunned for a few seconds. Then everything went black.

When I woke up again, I saw Fredbear on my left and Spring Bonnie on my right. I was in my own suit; or rather a mess of wires specifically molded to become one. It seemed fragile. I didn't dare look around too much, but helpfully there was a switch with a note above which said it shut off the spring locks. I just had to manoeuvre my hands to reach it. One wrong movement and the spring locks would set off. I slowly moved my arm straight up while trying to keep my hand as still as possible. Just before my arm had to bend, I raised my index finger and it flicked the switch. There was a hissing sound and the suit collapsed onto the floor. I crawled out and looked at what I been stuck in. The Mangle was there, but it had lost what was left of its feet and arms. It was just a mess of wires. And its fox-like face was gone. Instead, there was a clown mask with a yellow and green party hat. Its smile contained sharp, small teeth and one of its eyes was bright blue, while the other plain white. It slithered round the corner and off the stage where he was before (and where he had captured me) and he disappeared into the darkness. "You're not half bad at this, are you?" Said William Afton from the speakers. I ignored his teasing and smirking and looked at the clock next to the stage. 5:58. Only two more minutes to go.

Rat walked round the corner, but he was too late. I was out of the door, and getting into my car. Then I heard a voice behind him. "Do you wanna lollipop?" It was deep and slow. Lollipop appeared behind him and the smile vanished from Rat's face. There was the sound of ripping leather on Rat was on the floor, still. Lollipop then looked at me. But he didn't say anything. He just smiled.

JJ - Balloon Girl

NIGHT 6

My wife insisted on coming with me for the night, and was constantly asking me what I did for my job. When we got to the restaurant, I told her. "I am a night guard for a restaurant location where dangerous animatronics live who want to kill me." Her mouth opened, and was so for the next five minutes. Until she saw the action happen. When I went into the security office, Tragedy was sitting in my desk. When he saw me, he waved. "I guess we won't be using this room tonight." I said, acting so calm that she opened her mouth again. Let's got to the room which is the entrance to the vent. I found Rat's unmoving body inside the vent. "Oh, well that's disgusting, let's go to a different room." She was still speechless. I smiled. I could finally tell someone about my troubles. "Wow." She said after nearly half an hour of being in the restaurant. "This is some job you have. Do they ever move when you can actually see them? Properly? I've just seen them lying in vents." At that moment, JJ came into the room.

It was the first time I had ever seen her move. She waddled like a penguin into the room, holding her sign which said "Balloons!" and her balloons. She turned to look at me and my wife. "Hee hee. Hee hee. Hee hee ha." As she reached the end of her sentences quietened, like an echo. "Ennard." She said, after staring at us for a few seconds. The mess of wires with a party hat moved forward from the darkness of the room. JJ left. Then the animatronic supposedly called Ennard, whom I had been trapped inside of last night, spoke to us.

"I am from the first location of this restaurant. I contain many of the other animatronics there. We were created by William Afton, while the animatronics from this location were created by a newer recruit, called Joe, whose first animatronic was Spring Bonnie; one which he had worked on for a long time. Joe worked at this first location and survived it. Much to my disappointment. He acted as you guide on the phone on your first night. I have been trying to kill him since. And I have failed. So I suppose going for someone like you instead of him will have to come in as my plan B to be freed, along with all of the other souls I contain being freed too. Once we kill you, we will be free. This is the case for every single animatronic ever created. Now I must say goodbye to you." He launched himself at us, and I just managed to drag my wife and I out of the way, before he landed on the ground again, all without making a sound. "Oh yeah," I told my wife as we were running, "that guy can climb up walls." She just shook her head, as if she was merely annoyed by this whole experience, but I could tell she was shaking with fear.

As we reached my security office, I noticed that Tragedy had left. I grabbed my desk and put it vertically, and it blocked my hallway perfectly. Ennard was stuck outside, and hopefully it would remain that way. I turned around and Lollipop had been underneath the desk. He gave a deep laugh which resonated with my very soul. "We need to get out of here," I said, "he's one of the worst there is." Lollipop gave that same face with streaks of blood around him and the empty eye sockets as my wife and I went through the vents. But we had forgotten Rat was in there.

As we tried to budge past the bent monstrosity, he started to move, as if gaining his senses. He turned around and looked at us. "Uoy!" "Oh yeah, this one talks backwards." We crawled back the way we came through the vent. Lollipop was still in the office. We just stood there staring at him until Rat came through. As he launched out of the vent he went right past us and skidded to the floor. We decided to leave him with Lollipop and we crawled back through the vent and out the other side.

Finally, we had some peace. We both took a deep sigh of relief. "Luckily for you, this is the last night, isn't it?" She asked. 6am struck on the clock. "It's all over now." I said.

We were just about to leave through the front Cat sped towards us. His smile was bigger than usual. He knocked straight into my wife and bit into her. He then stopped and fell to the floor. A white substance came out of his suit. His soul had been freed. Because he had killed someone. But my wife was bleeding. I grabbed her and drove her to the hospital as fast as I could. I had thought it was all over. But the nightmare which would contain me for the rest of my life had only just begun.

EPILOGUE

The next day my wife died in hospital. 7:26 am. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't face telling my kids that their mother had died because of my job. I just told them she died in a car crash. We were all so sad for such a long time. Then all of my children ended up going to the other locations. It wasn't a coincidence. Afton had planned it. I know it. I also know that the phone guy, Joe, was killed by JJ during Mike's job. It all had such a bad ending.

The day that Mike Schmidt, no, Michael Afton, went to that job, it was Valentine's Day, and I went to the grave of my wife. I placed some red roses against the gravestone, and looked up to the sky. All because of a newspaper article for a pizzeria. All of this tragedy just because of that. And that's when I thought:

I could have prevented this. But I didn't.

"Five Nights At Fredbear's"

"Fazbear"

I have not included FNAF 4, FNAF World or FNAF 6 in this series because I believe they lack the ability to tell a good story. There will be info which could have been gained from them in my other stories instead and I have created my own animatronics as well for one of the books in the series.

Enjoy,

Felix Adler

PROLOGUE

My name is Joe Wilson. I was the phone guide for the first night of the father's shift, the sister's shifts and one of the brother's shifts. I have just created one of the first animatronics in the world made for entertainment. Because of this, a man called William Afton has hired me for a job at his rental place. He wants to rent out animatronics for people to hire for the day. He told me that all of the animatronics he had created were located underground, and that was where I was supposed to spend my week on the job. It was actually only six days. There would be an automated guide to help me with my nightly tasks when I got there. It all seemed fairly informal. But, just before he ended the call and after I had agreed to do the job, he said this: "If you ever try to leave this job, I will get people out to find you. You will not make it out alive. Trust me."

And that is why I have stuck with the company ever since. After I completed these shifts I found out about the recordings that people got from the animatronic Tragedy, one of William's first animatronics. I never saw him in person. And I never saw JJ either, until that fateful day. That is right, reader, I write this beyond the grave. After this all happened. After the dreaded Springtrap had been defeated. How, you ask? This world has many mysteries. I will even write a short book to conclude all of these mysteries and give out the full storyline, as it can get quite confusing. But this is the story of how everything began. How Afton's daughter died. How he just wanted to give her some friends. This is the story of the second family. The family you never knew. But from my experience.

For your information, anything in italics is me speaking from after this whole experience.

NIGHT 1

When I reached the building, it was a tiny, cylindrical shack. I thought I was at the wrong place. But there was the sign on the front: "Circus Baby's Pizza World!"

This was before the time of Fredbear and Friends ruling the roost. The main attraction was Circus Baby and her gang.

I walked inside. There were two rectangular glass panels at the front, with posters round the circular wall. They had pictures of the animatronics. There were tons of buttons dotted around the place. One was a large red button, next to the glass panels. There were series of 10, presumably representing a phone dial, and the were small speakers which, when touched, just produced static. After a few seconds of being inside the room, the doors through which I had entered closed behind me. There was a shaking, and I started going down. I was in an elevator. He had said it was underground.

There was one flickery light at the top of the elevator. Every few seconds I was plunged into complete darkness and there was a large metallic noise outside. It sounded like the elevator whirring, so I thought nothing of it. One of the posters was a picture of an animatronic clown with red ponytails and green eyes. She had a large number of small, square teeth and her face was split into four different parts, called faceplates, as I knew from my degree in robotics. These parts could open up to reveal the endoskeleton (robotic skeleton) underneath. I had not used these for my animatronic. He had a furry, golden leather completely covering his suit to make him seem more child-friendly. After all, Fazbear Entertainment was aimed at kids. It just… degraded. It turned into a horror attraction for multiple murders of small children… and it never got back on its feet again… anyway.

The other poster had an animatronic ballerina on it, also with faceplates. Her arms were in the air, connecting to form a sort of triangle. Her eyelids were closed and a smile was cemented on her face. Above the clown was the word 'CELEBRATE!' and above the ballerina was the word 'DANCE!'. Next to the clown were some very small, baby-like animatronics with different coloured faceplates, more creamy. There were three of them altogether and the had blue eyes. Their lips stuck out a little and their blunt teeth fully showed. Suddenly, there was a voice from one of the speakers:

"I'm a model 5 of the Handyman's Robotics and Unit-Repair System, but you can call me HandUnit for short. Welcome to the first day of your exciting new career. Whether you were approached at a job fair, read our ad in Screws, Bolts, and Hairpins, or if this is the result of a dare, we welcome you. I will be your personal guide to help you get started. I'm a model 5 of the Handyman's Robotics and Unit-Repair System, but you can call me Hand-Unit. Your new career promises challenge, intrigue and endless janitorial opportunities." This sounded great. Really great. But it was all for the money, and it was only for a week. Suddenly a yellow keypad with a black screen appeared in front of me. It had large, childlike eyes on top. It appeared as some sort of toy. "Please enter your name as seen above the keypad. This cannot be changed later so please be careful." The screen on the keypad turned on, but the green letters were all in the wrong places on the keyboard. Plus, the letters wouldn't stop moving off of the screen. I tried to type in Joe but it didn't work. "It seems that you had some trouble with the keypad. I see what you were trying to type, and I will auto-correct it for you. One moment. Welcome: Eggs Benedict." I was less surprised rather than disappointed; this was only amateur technology after all. That's why I was here. To help out with it.

Not really. I wasn't there just to help out. And the animatronics certainly weren't just amateur technology. It's just they had a far… more sinister purpose than that of all of the other animatronics.

The elevator stopped and the large red button from before started to glow. "You can now open the elevator using that bright, red and obvious button. Let's get to work!" I pressed the button and the glass panels opened. There was caution tape all around a small air vent, but there was nowhere else to go. So I crawled in.

"Allow me to fill this somewhat frightening silence with some light-hearted banter. Unlike most entertainment venues, our robotic entertainers are rented out for private parties during the day, and it's your job to get the robots back in proper working order before the following morning." HandUnit droned on as I crawled through the vent. I finally made my way through a flap and came into a type of security office. "You are now in the Primary Control Module. It's actually a crawl space between the two front showrooms. Now, let's get started with your daily tasks. View the window to your left. This is the Ballora Gallery Party Room and Dance Studio, encouraging kids to get fit and enjoy pizza. Let's turn on the light and see if Ballora is on stage. Press the blue button on the elevated keypad to your left." There was a stand with a blue button with a sun on it and a red button with a lightning bolt on it. I pressed the blue button. The stage was empty. "Uh-oh, it looks like Ballora doesn't feel like dancing. Let's give her some motivation. Press the red button now to administer a controlled shock. Maybe that will put a spring back in her step." I pressed the button. The room filled with a bright flash for half a second. "Let's check the light again." Ballora was dancing in circles with some white-faced dolls around her, presumably animatronic backup dancers.

"Excellent. Ballora is feeling like her old self again and will be ready to perform again tomorrow. Now, view the window to your right. This is the Funtime Auditorium, where Funtime Foxy encourages kids to play and share. Try the light, let's see what Funtime Foxy is up to." I pressed the blur button on an identical stand at the other side of the module. Again, the stage was empty. "Looks like Funtime Foxy is taking the day off. Let's motivate Funtime Foxy with a controlled shock." I pressed the red button on the second stand. Again, there was a white flash. I pressed the blue button again, but there was still no one on stage. I was starting to question the quality and safety of these shocks. "Let's try another controlled shock." I did as I was told. When I checked the light again, Foxy was moving left and right onstage, waving to the non-existent children before her. Her robotic movements and large smille suddenly gave a chilling emptiness to the room that I had never felt with the other animatronic I had made; there was something more fake about these artificial lives that I had never experienced before, and it scared me to the teeth. "Looks like Funtime Foxy is in perfect working order. Great job! In front of you is another vent shaft. Crawl through it to reach the Circus Gallery Control Module." As HandUnit said this, a metal flap opened revealing another vent. I got down on my hands and knees and crawled in.

As I crawled through the vent there was a female voice, monotonous, a lot like HandUnit's: "Circus Gallery. Maintenance vent. Opened." I entered the room. It was very dark, but I could roughly make out my surroundings. There was a control panel in front of me with hundreds of buttons, all just making noises when I pressed them. There was a fairly large hole between the legs in the panel too. The window in front of me covered most of the wall but it was too dark to see anything in front of me. Two or three dolls hung from the ceiling with huge eyes and smiles. "On the other side of the glass is Circus Baby's Auditorium. Let's check the light, and see what Baby is up to." I pressed the blue light on an identical stand to the two in the other room and it lit up the space in front of me, but I still couldn't see anything. "Looks like a few of the lights are out, but we can fix that later. Let's encourage Baby to cheer up with a controlled shock." I pressed the red button and the same flash appeared as the other two rooms. I pressed the blue button. Still nothing. "Let's try another controlled shock." I tried again. Nothing. "Let's try another controlled shock." Again. Nothing. "Great job Circus Baby, we knew we could count on you!" But nothing had appeared.

"That concludes your duties for your first night on the job. We don't want you to leave overwhelmed, otherwise you might not come back. Please leave using the vent behind you, and we'll see you again tomorrow." I hesitated before leaving the room, still wondering why Circus Baby had never appeared by the window, but I decided to think nothing of it and crawled back through the vent. But when I did there was a sound that came with me. Like something metal limping across the vent, clanging as it went. When I made my way back to the primary control module, it stopped. I decided to ignore that too.

A great mistake.

As I went back into the elevator, I couldn't wait to get home and watch the new episode of 'The Immortal and the Restless'. I heard series two had come out.

Funtime Foxy

NIGHT 2

I made my way to the shack and down the elevator again, just like last night. HandUnit began his one-sided conversation with me: "Welcome back for another night of intellectual stimulation, pivotal career choices, and self-reflection on past mistakes. We're committed to creating a unique and fulfilling work experience. One part of that commitment is ensuring that you don't get tired of the voice that you're hearing right now." It was like he had read my mind. "Using the keypad below, please select a new companion voice. For male, press 1. For female, press 2. For text-only, press 3. For other options, press 4." The same keypad appeared in front of me. But it had no numbers. I had given up on trying to choose these things and just typed in ten random letters. "It seems that you had some trouble with the keypad. I see what you were trying to type, and I will auto-correct it for you. thank you for choosing: angsty teen." Great. Now I would have to listen to an even worse voice every night. "The elevator stopped." It sounded like he was almost as bored with this job as I was. "You know the routine. You can get out now or... whatever. You can stay here if you want."

Not a good idea.

I pressed the big red button and crawled into the vent. "So... funny story... a dead body was found in this vent once. Okay... so... not that funny. But it's a story." He said as I crawled through the vents. Reassuring, I've got to say. As I made my way into the primary control module, he started to talk again. "Ok, let's start with your nightly chores. You should check on Ballora and make sure she's on her stage but... whatever." I checked on Ballora but she wasn't there. "Huh, I guess Ballora has better things to do. Let's zap her! That should be fun." I pressed the shock button and checked the light again. She still wasn't there. Then HandUnit started making some incomprehensible noises. After this he paused shortly. "Let's check on Funtime Foxy, see what she's up to. I pressed the blue button and she wasn't there either. Then a low, deep version of HandUnit's voice started speaking: "Great. Great. Great." He repeated before another short pause. The HandUnit's original voice started again: "There seems to have been a problem with the voice synthesizer. Default settings have been restored. Please proceed through the vent ahead of you to Circus Baby's Auditorium." As the vent to the circus gallery opened I crawled in. "Circus Baby had a busy day today! Let's check the light, and make sure she's in proper working order." I pressed the blue button and there was no one there. "Oh, Circus Baby, we aren't here to play hide and seek! Let's encourage baby to come out of hiding with a controlled shock. I tried to press the red button, but it didn't work and just emitted a couple of sparks. "Let's try another controlled shock." I tried again, but the button was stiff. "There seems to be a power malfunction that is affecting our ability to properly motivate Baby. Please stand by, while I reboot the system. I will be offline momentarily during this process. Various other systems may be offline as well, such as security doors, vent locks, and oxygen. Commencing system restart." Uh oh.

I couldn't get out because of the vent locks. I would have about half an hour of oxygen left from the air already in the room. And no security doors. Anyone could get in. That was when I heard the same metal limping as I did above me the night before. But I couldn't see anyone. It was even darker than usual in here. But suddenly I heard a little girl's voice:

"I don't recognize you. You are new. I remember this scenario. However, it's a strange thing to want to do, to come here. I'm curious what events will lead a person to want to spend their nights in a place like this willingly. Maybe curiosity, maybe ignorance. There is a space under the desk, someone before you crafted it into a hiding place and it worked for him. I recommend that you hurry though. You will be safe there, just try not to make eye contact, it will be over soon. They will lose interest. When your guide comes back online, he is going to tell you that he was unsuccessful, that you must restart the system manually. He will tell you to crawl through Ballora Gallery as fast as you can to reach the Breaker Room. If you follow his instructions, you will die. Ballora will not return to her stage anymore, she will catch you. The power will be restored shortly. When you crawl through Ballora Gallery, go slowly. She can not see you and can only listen for your movement. When you hear her music become louder she is growing near, listening for you. Wait and be still." This was someone I didn't know, yet I trusted her. But who were they? And whose advice should I take. I decided to see what HandUnit actually said when everything came back on. But I crawled into the hole under the desk as she told me to do. There was a metal grate with holes in it in front of me. In black marker on the front it said: 'PULL'. I pulled the grate across the hole. But suddenly there was a noise, like somebody playing a recording.

"There's no doubting what you have achieved on a technical level. These are clearly state-of-the-art. There are just certain design choices that were made that we don't fully understand. We were hoping that you could shed some light on those." I had not heard that voice before. Someone else started to talk: their voice was familiar. "She can dance, she can sing! She's equipped with with a built-in helium tank for inflating balloons right at her fingertips. She can take song requests. She can even dispense ice cream." "With all due respect, those aren't the design choices we were curious about, Mr. Afton." The recording ended. William Afton. Of course. And they must have been talking about Circus baby: his first invention. Then it dawned upon me. Circus Baby was the voice speaking to me. Of course; it was her room after all. But then there was another voice on the recording. One which was very near. "Hello in there," it said quietly, "I know someone is inside." Someone, or something, poked their eye through one of the holes in the grate.

The Bidybab. They were the baby-like creatures next to Circus Baby on the poster from the elevator.

I jumped, but gathered my wits and remembered what Circus Baby said. I looked away from this pale blue eye that was staring right at me. Then it disappeared again. I carried on watching the holes, but no other eyes appeared. I could hear someone taking off nails. The nails to the grate, presumably. Because after that there was a shaking and the grate I had pulled in front of me was going back to where it was before. I grabbed onto the end of the grate and tried to pull it in my direction. It was a struggle, but I managed to pull the grate back to my side. "Let me in!" they said in a sing-song voice, and tried to pull the grate open again. "Knock knock." It was closer that time, but I still managed to pull the grate back. After a few seconds, they spoke again. "She's watching us! Oh, we have to leave now. We will see you again soon!" I heard footsteps getting quieter, and then there was silence for a few seconds. Baby started talking again: "When your guide comes back on line, he is going to tell you that he was unsuccessful. That you must restart the system manually. He will then tell you to crawl through Ballora Gallery as fast as you can to reach the Breaker Room. If you follow his instructions, you will die. Ballora will not return to her stage anymore. She will catch you. The power will be restored shortly. When you crawl through Ballora Gallery, go slowly. She cannot see you, and can only listen for your movement. When you hear her music become louder, she is growing near; listening for you. Wait, and be still." As Baby said, HandUnit came back online. "Thank you for your patience. it seems that the power system cannot be restarted automatically. You will need to restart the power system manually. Please return to the primary control module." I crawled out from the desk and through the vent.

"You will now be required to crawl through the Ballora Gallery using the vent to your left to reach the Breaker Room. It is recommended that you stay low to the ground, and reach the other side as fast as possible so to not disturb Ballora. I will deactivate myself momentarily, as to not create an auditory disturbance. Deactivating." The entrance to the Ballora Gallery opened. HandUnit said exactly what Baby said he would say. But I had already decided. I was going with Baby's advice.

The room was extremely dark and I could barely even see ahead of myself. Every step I took echoed in the hall. But then I started to hear faint music. I stopped where I was. The music got louder, but then fainter, and that was when I realised she had passed me. Baby was right. She only listened for my movement. As her music faded to silence I started to move again. She came closer again. I stopped. She left. I carried on walking. This routine carried on for about 10 minutes as I made my way across the hallway. I had now nearly reached the door to the breaker room. On the poster was a white bear with pink highlights and blue eyes. He had a puppet on his right arm who looked like a blue bunny with pink eyes.

This was Funtime Freddy and Bon-Bon, the early versions of Freddy and Bonnie. It was pure coincidence that I was working on a rabbit animatronic too.

Suddenly HandUnit started talking. I jumped. "It seems you are taking a long time. Please move as quickly and quietly as possible." I ignored him and carried on steadily reaching my target. I stopped again when Ballora came past. I could see her shadow against the wall. She was right next to me. But that was when I heard a little girl's voice: "Daddy, you let the other children go see her, why won't you let me go?" Ballora left and the voice slipped from my mind as I made my way into the Breaker Room.

"You may now interface with the breaker control box. Using the interface may disrupt nearby electronics. If you feel that you are in danger, feel free to disconnect the interface temporarily, until it is safe to reconnect." The room was dark except for a little spark in the corner, presumably a broken wire. But every time it flashed I could see Funtime Freddy and Bon-bon in the corner, staring straight ahead of themselves and smiling. On the breaker control box there was a series of room names next to a map. Each time I tapped and held on a room name it increased in percentage. So I had to get all of the rooms to 100% power. Next to the breaker control box was an audio cue with a Post-It note next to it which said "If he comes closer". I presumed that meant if Funtime Freddy moved. As HandUnit had said, using the interface may affect any animatronics nearby. I started with the top room and went down. But every time I got to around 50% for one of the rooms there was shuffling. Funtime Freddy had come closer. I pressed the audio cue and Bon-bon started talking to him. "It's okay, there's no one in here. It was probably just a mouse!" But every other time he said something, I could hear Funtime Freddy talking: "Let's go over to the birthday boy!" or "Bon-bon! I think someone is in here!"

I had finished three rooms. I looked up from the control box and Funtime Freddy was right in front of me, his eyes staring into mine. Bon-bon had his hands on the front of Freddy's arm. I pressed the audio cue. "Daddy, just once, let me go play with her. She's so pretty and shiny. Didn't you make her just for me?" By the next flash, Funtime Freddy was back in the corner. He didn't move for the rest of the night. I finished the rooms. "Great job. This completes your tasks for the night. Please proceed back through the Ballora gallery with care, and we'll see you back here tomorrow." I went back into the Ballora Gallery. Ballora was right in front of the door with her faceplates open. Her eyes were open and there was a mass of wiring, clearly a very complex endoskeleton. She was absolutely still. I slowly edged around her. But she spoke, as if from the inside: "Daddy, she can make balloons! Have you seen her make balloons? Oh Daddy, let me go to her!" That was when I realised. All of the animatronics at this location had seen a girl ask her father if she could play with an animatronic. Her father refused. It was an event that all of them remembered.

And would never forget.

I walked back through the Ballora Gallery I exited the Primary Control Module and went back up the elevator, the eerie silence surrounding me. I was used to HandUnit talking to me now. Tonight had been a busy night. I had got a lot done. It was time to go home. I walked out of the supposed shack. Afton was waiting outside for me. "Hello."

"Hello."

"How's the job going."

"Fine. Why ask?"

"You're lying."

"No I'm not."

"Yes you are."

And that was when I completely broke down. All of these feelings I had kept bottled up inside of me just came out. I was crying. All of these emotions which I had tried not to express over the past couple of days. I couldn't hide my undeniable and utter fear of this place. Then he spoke. "I just came to remind you that you are not allowed to leave. Goodbye." He got into his purple car and drove away. Silence again.

Funtime Freddy

NIGHT 3

I went into the elevator again. "Welcome back to another pivotal night of your thriving new career, where you get to really ask yourself, what am I doing with my life? What would my friends say, and most importantly, will I ever see my family again? We understand the stresses of a new job, and we're here for you. To help you reach a more stable and relaxing frame of mind, we offer several musical selections to help make this elevator ride as relaxing and therapeutic as possible. We offer contemporary jazz, classical rainforest ambiance as well as a wide selection of other choices." The keypad popped up again. "Using the keypad below, please type the first few letters of the musical selection you would prefer." I knew by now that it didn't matter what I typed. So I just hit the keyboard. "It seems you had some trouble with the keypad. I see what you were trying to type, and I will auto-correct it for you. Thank you for selecting: Casual Bongos." A second later, casual bongos started playing through the speakers in the elevator. "Now that your elevator experience has been customised to your needs, and your thoroughly relaxed, it's worth mentioning that due to your lacklustre performance yesterday, your pay has been decreased by a substantial amount. Please enjoy the rest of your descent." He must have been talking about me not listening to him in the Ballora Gallery last night. Well, I'd rather have my life and no money rather than vice versa. As long as I was still getting paid a little.

The elevator reached the bottom and I pressed the red button which opened the door. Then I climbed through the vent and reached the Primary Control Module. "Due to unforeseen malfunctions from today's shows, your nightly duties will require you to perform maintenance that you may or may not be skilled enough to perform. It became necessary for technicians to attempt to disconnect Funtime Freddy's power module. However, they were unsuccessful. Allowing them to try again would be an inefficient path forward, as we would need to allow six to eight weeks for recovery and physical therapy. You will need to reach the Parts and Service room on the other side of Funtime Auditorium to perform the procedure yourself. Let's check on Ballora first, and make sure she's on her stage." I hit the lights. Ballora wasn't there. "Great. It looks like everything is as it should be in Ballora Gallery. Let's check on Funtime Foxy. It's important to make sure she's on her stage before entering." I ignored Ballora's absence and checked on Funtime Foxy. She wasn't there either. "Great. It looks like everything is as it should be in Funtime Auditorium. There is no need to check on Baby tonight. Please refrain from entering unauthorized areas. Proceed directly to Funtime Auditorium." Both the Circus Gallery vent and the funtime Auditorium vent opened. If HandUnit was wrong last time, then there was a chance he would be again. I took the risk and entered the Circus Gallery Vent.

The room was dark and everything was shut down. The eerie silence surrounded me like a predator about to pounce on prey. But then I heard Circus Baby talk: "Did you know that I was onstage once? It wasn't for very long - only one day. What a wonderful day, though. I was in a small room with balloons and a few tables. No one sat at the tables, though, but children would run in and out. Some were afraid of me. Others enjoyed my songs. Music was always coming from somewhere else, down the hall. I would always count the children. I'm not sure why. I was always acutely aware of how many were in the room with me. 2, then 3, then 2, then 3, then 4, then 2. Then none. They usually played together in groups of 2 or 3. I was covered in glitter. I smelled like birthday cake. There were 2, then 3, then 5, then 4. I can do something special - did you know that? I can make ice cream. Although I only did it once. There were 4, then 3, then 2, then 1. Something happened, and there was 1. A little girl, standing by herself. I was no longer myself. And I stopped singing. My stomach opened, and there was ice cream. I couldn't move - at least, not until she stepped closer. There was screaming for a moment, but only for a moment. Then other children rushed in again, but they couldn't hear her over the sounds of their own excitement. I still hear her sometimes. Why did that happen?"

I didn't know it at the time, but Circus Baby was telling me the story of William Afton's daughter, Lucy, and her death. It sends a shiver down my spine to this day.

She didn't say anything else, and so I went back through the vent and to the funtime auditorium. I had to be careful; as Funtime Foxy wasn't onstage. The room was extremely dark, just like the Ballora Gallery. "Unlike Ballora, Funtime Foxy is motion-activated. For this reason, it's important to keep the room dark, as to not accidentally activate her. You have been provided with a flash beacon. Use it if you need to get your bearings and to ensure you don't bump into anything. However, use it as sparingly as possible. Proceed forward to reach the Parts and Service room." There was something which looked like a torch at my feet. That was lucky. I picked it up and flicked the switch on the side. There was a bright flash for half a second, and then darkness filled the room again. I knew what he meant when he said 'bump into anything'. Funtime Foxy was after me.

I developed a rhythm to flash the beacon every 3 seconds. When I saw Funtime Foxy with his red bow-tie and pink highlights, I stopped walking. At one point he was right in front of me, baring his teeth. I stood as still as I could. After a few seconds, I heard footsteps and breathed a sigh of relief. Once Funtime Foxy had disappeared again, I carried on walking. Soon I had reached the Parts and Service room, sweat still trickling from my forehead. It was surprising how little this thought had occurred over the past few days, but my life was at constant risk when I was in this building.

When I entered the room, a deactivated Funtime Freddy with the Bon-bon puppet on his arm was right in front of me. His face was moulded into a toothy smile, and he was staring at the ground. HandUnit spoke again: "Great job reaching Parts & Service. It seems that Funtime Freddy is out of power, which should make your job much easier. The release switch for the chest cavity is located on the underside of the endoskeleton jaw. To reach it, we will first need to open the face will need to press the face plate release triggers in a specific order, and it's important to be as precise and as careful as possible. Locate the small button on Freddy's face, just under his right cheek, and press it. Please note that I mean Freddy's right; not your right." After around 20 seconds of searching I could see a small spot, which almost just looked like a trick of the light. I had to press it with the edge of my nail. "Great! Now locate the button under his left cheek and press it." There was the same button on the other cheek, exactly the same size and colour. "Great! Now carefully locate and press the button next to Freddy's right eye." I faltered for a moment. HandUnit specifically saying the word 'carefully' was slightly unsettling, but I decided to think nothing of it, and found the button next to his eye and pressed it. "Great! Now carefully locate and press the button next just above Freddy's nose." I found the button and did as I was told. There was an instant hissing sound and the Funtime Freddy's faceplates opened abruptly. I fell back, thinking he had regained consciousness. His endoskeleton was similar to that of Ballora's, but more in his shape. The wiring was more than I could understand. I got back on my feet. "Good job. The face plates should now be open. Locate and press the small button on the underside of Freddy's endoskeleton jaw." The white button on his jaw was more obvious than the others, as the endoskeleton was a dark grey. As I pressed it Funtime Freddy's stomach opened. "Excellent. The chest cavity should now be open. Remove the power module from the chest cavity." There was a small device with a flashing red light, about the size of a pound coin. I removed it from his stomach. "Great work. You will now be required to remove the secondary power module from the Bonnie hand puppet. Press the large, black button beneath Bonnie's bow-tie to release the power module." I looked towards Funtime Freddy's right hand. The Bonnie Puppet was gone.

I could hear small laughs echoing around the room. Every 30 seconds I caught a glimpse of him slowly rising from behind Freddy, his jaw rapidly rising and falling. I eventually came up with a tactic. I shone the light around the centre of Freddy's torso. I saw him slowly rising from Freddy's left shoulder. If I looked at him, he would zip right back into hiding. He couldn't know I was watching him. When his button was just within visibility, I turned towards him and tapped the button. He went still. "Great work. You've acquired both power modules. This completes your tasks for the night. Please exit the building through Funtime Auditorium, and we'll see you back here again tomorrow." I left the room and went back into the funtime auditorium.

Silence. Whenever I flashed the beacon, no one was there. My footsteps echoed in the room. But I had the feeling someone was watching me. Something.

I was right.

Funtime Foxy jumped at me, her faceplates opening, along with her triangular mouth revealing sharp teeth. Everything went black.

Bon-bon / The Bonnie Puppet

NIGHT 4

I slowly came to my senses. I was in a suit. But not just any suit.

It was my suit. My Spring Bonnie. I was stuck in my own creation.

I could see a flashing red light in the corner of the room, and some sort of mechanical object near me, but except for that I was shrouded in darkness. I heard Baby's voice: "Shh! Be still and quiet. You've been sleeping for quite a while. I think they noticed that you never left the building last night. The cameras are searching for you." Of course. The red light was a camera. "But they couldn't find you. I have you hidden too well. I kidnapped you. Don't be afraid. I'm not going to hurt you. I am only going to keep you for a little while. Try not to wiggle, though. It's just big enough for one person to fit inside. But just barely." She didn't know I made this. Se was silent for a few moments. "You're in the scooping room. Do you know why they call it 'the scooping room'? It's because, dummy, this is the room where they use the scooper. I thought that would be obvious. Isn't that a fun name for something? 'The scooper.' It sounds like something you would use for ice cream, or custard, or sprinkles. It sounds like something you would want at your birthday party, to ensure that you get a heaping portion of every good thing. I wonder, though, if you were a freshly-opened pint of ice cream, how you would feel about something with that name. Thankfully, I don't think a freshly opened pint of ice cream feels anything at all." The object to my left must have been the scooper. I suddenly heard a door slam shut.

"Uh-oh. It sounds like someone else is in the building. Shh!" I stayed quiet. I wasn't quite sure if this person was good or bad before, but I was pretty sure now. Although, she never told me why she had kidnapped me. Either way, if I wanted to stay alive, I was to do what I was told. "Okay, bring her over. More, mooore... okay, stop. Set her down. Waaatch the step." What was going on? "What happened to it this time?" There were two people. Sounded like people doing maintenance on one of the animatronics. "Just seems like these things can't go a day without breaking down. Who knows, it's always the same. Some kind of hardware malfunction." "Well, I have to be somewhere in, like, 15 minutes. This place gives me the creeps. Can we just get this over with? It's all automated, we don't have to be here for it. Just get it on the rollers and we can go." There was a clunking sound, and I heard the door slam shut again. There was a whirring sound. It sounded like a rollercoaster climbing a steep point in the ride. Everybody waiting for it to zip down. As the whirring came closer I could see Ballora in front of my suit. She passed me, her eyelids closed, as usual. She stopped. There were three long beeps. For a moment, nothing moved. Then the mechanism struck Ballora, like a snake attacking its victim. Her faceplates twitched, and she jumped slightly when she was struck. After a few seconds the machine struck her again. Three of her four faceplate were hanging off her. The scooper struck the animatronic for the third time. Ballora collapsed. There was more silence. I could see a brownish eye flickering where Ballora had once been.

Baby spoke again: "I'll open the face plates for you. That way, they can find you on the cameras. Now, all you have to do is wait. I'd recommend that you keep the spring locks wound up. Your breathing and your heartbeat are causing them to come loose. You don't want them to get too loose. Trust me."

I think you already know what happens if the spring locks get too loose.

I knew where the spring locks were: five on each side. All I needed to do was to turn them anticlockwise while they were unwinding. If one of them got all the way round, I was dead. But after minute or two of doing this, I saw something moving in he darkness. It was one of those things that Ballora was on stage with. The ballerina puppets.

The Minireenas.

It was climbing up my suit. I would have to shake the suit to get it off, but that would unwind the spring locks. Oh. I then realised what I had to for the night. I shook the tiny animatronic off, and it slid back down the side of the suit. After a few minutes, another minireena came. I'd kept the spring locks at 12:00. But this minireena wasn't coming from the side. It went through the front of the suit. Like a spider, it crawled in and I was powerless to stop it. I could feel the whirring in is back moving up and around my leg, then up my back, and out of the suit through the top. The whole experience was like waking up and having a tarantula in your bed.

My legs started to get numb after a few hours. I hadn't had any real problems with the spring locks; it was just the minireenas that creeped me out. I heard the door open in the distance. Someone was coming to rescue me. The Minireenas scattered. But when I saw who it was, I tensed again. Afton walked towards me. "Seems you've got yourself in a bit of a situation haven't you?" He pressed a button just under the suit's left hand. It fully opened and I got out. "I never put that button there." "Oh, since you gave the suit to me, I've been tweaking it a little bit. Come back tomorrow." He ushered me into the elevator and I left the building.

Ballora and the Minireenas

NIGHT 5

I returned to the place of my horrors once again. Before HandUnit spoke, I heard a girl's voice, the same voice as the animatronics as the animatronics had emitted on the first few nights: "Daddy isn't watching." This must have been the girl that Circus Baby was talking about on Night 3. The one she killed, when all of the animatronics were watching. That's how they told me.

"Welcome back to your last day on the job. That is, the last day of your first week! some of the most valued qualities that we like to see in new employees are determination, fearlessness and a genuine disregard for instinctive self-preservation. you've earned your one-week bonus which will be given to you in the form of a delightful gift basket, the cost of which will be taken out of your next paycheck. We've gift-baskets containing fruit, nuts, flowers and of course the ever-popular cash-basket. Using the keypad below, please enter the first few letters of the gift basket you would like to receive." As usual the keypad rose. I just punched some random letters and HandUnit came out with his version. "Exotic Butters." Great. My bonus was butter. Now all I had to do was one more night. "Please be aware that there are still two technicians on-site today. Try to avoid interfering with their work if possible. Also, feel free to ask them why they are still there, and encourage them to go home." That was just one extra job for the night. Not too much.

I went through the vent and entered my main office. "Let's check on Ballora, and make sure she's on her stage." I checked. A noose hung from the ceiling. And in that noose was a man's head. The electricians' head. "Great. Now, let's check on Funtime Foxy." I checked on the light for Funtime Foxy, but the second electrician was hanging there. Well, that was my extra job done for the night. "Great. It looks like everything is as it should be in Funtime Auditorium. Your task today will involve more maintenance work. Circus Baby had a rough day, and is in need of repair. You will be required to reach the Parts & Service room by once again sneaking through Funtime Auditorium. As always, please proceed with caution." The vent door to the Funtime Auditorium opened and I went inside.

An eerie silence filled the room. It was clear that Funtime Foxy was not here; the room just felt too… empty. I walked quickly through the auditorium and entered the Parts & Service room, where I had performed maintenance on Funtime Freddy on the third night. Circus Baby was there. It was the first time I had seen her in person before. HandUnit spoke again. "Great job reaching Parts & Service. Circus Baby has been deactivated for an unknown reason. It's your job to make sure she's structurally stable and secured to the conveyor. Our technicians will take it from ther-". He got cut off. It was silent for a few moments. Then Circus Baby spoke.

"Can you hear me? I'm pretending. Remember how I said I could pretend? The cameras are watching. I must be careful not to move. Something bad happened yesterday. Something bad always happens. I don't want it to happen again. There is something bad... inside of me! I'm broken. I can't be fixed. I'm going to be taken to the scooping room soon, but it's not going to fix what's wrong with me. What is bad is always left behind. Will you help me? I want you to save what is good, so the rest can be destroyed and never recovered. But you must be careful. Ballora is here. In the room, with us. Ballora will not return to her stage. Ballora will not return to her body. You must be careful. You must remain calm, and listen to my voice."

Ballora was still alive. I did as I was told. "There is a button on my cheek. You must find it and press it." I found the button and pressed it. "There is a passcode that you must enter before you can retrieve me. Enter the code carefully. 1." I pressed 1. "2." Two. "1." One. Something told me that if I pressed the wrong number it could be life-threatening. I continued. "4. 7. 5. 8. 2. 3. 7." I finished. "Good. A hatch should have opened." It did. "Take the card that you find inside." I took the card. "Now you must turn back. I will guide you through Funtime Auditorium so you can reach the Scooping Room. This place is safe. Leaving is not. When you are there. Put the card into your handheld device, and I can continue to speak to you. Now, press the green button to your left. This will send me to the scooping room." The scooping room. The place where Ballora got killed. I wasn't sure I trusted Baby on this one.

And I was right not to.

"You must follow my instructions in Funtime Auditorium. Ballora is going to follow you. She will try to catch you. I will help you avoid her. She will not follow you inside the scooping room; she is afraid. Go back now." I left the maintenance room, back into the Funtime Auditorium. "Go forward." I sneaked forward, trying to make as little sound as possible. "Stop." I stopped. I could hear faint footsteps nearby. They came closer. Then they stopped. I couldn't see anything in the blackness. I felt cold breath on my face. Then it went away. "Go forward and left." I went forward. But I didn't go left. I went right. I hit my head against the wall, and I could hear someone, something, coming towards me; but then I heard a computerised female voice. "Access. Granted."

I entered the room. I heard HandUnit again. "It seems that you have accidentally wandered into a restricted area. Due to the sensitive nature of the materials that you may be exposed to here, you will not be allowed to leave until the clean-up crew arrives at 6 AM, so hang tight. Rest assured that you will be promptly rescued, fired, then sent home. Thank you for being an employee. We hope that your experience has not been as regrettable as ours." I was fired at the end of the night. But I was going to be done anyway; all I had to do was last 6 hours, and I was done with this. Then I would be the guide for the next location and I could live. But then Baby spoke. "Why didn't you trust me? Why didn't you believe me? Sometimes I don't understand why people do the things that they do. I thought you liked me. I thought I did everything right. We don't want to hurt anyone. But we need you. We need you so that we can leave. We need you so that we can hide… We need you so that we can look like you… If they find us like this we won't be able to try again… If they find us like this we won't be able to try again. You must help us… You must let us inside the room. You must let us inside the room. Isn't this why you came here…? To be with her again… I don't understand… You won't die… And it will only hurt for a moment… I will find a way out…"

I'll say this now, as crazy as this sounds. Ennard. From Bill's dad's location. Ennard was an amalgamation of all of the animatronics at this location. And this whole week, it hadn't been Circus Baby talking, but Ennard. And it was Ennard in front of me in the corridor. And it was Ennard who I had to take on in the final battle.

It was time to finish this.

Circus Baby and the Bidybabs

NIGHT 6

I had two doors just like in Mike's location. And power. But there were no lights outside my doors. It depended on the cameras and listening. I had to listen for Ennard and respond to its movements before it was too late. There was also a vent, acting for both Ennard and me as a third door. Of course, HandUnit explained to me the mechanics of this.

I heard squeaking at my left. I shut the left door. The squeaking became quieter again; so I opened the left door again.

It was that simple.

The security office had quite a few personal items around. There were three small-ish televisions with static showing, next to a keypad. There was a small yellow bear plush with black sockets and white dots in the middle. It had a purple hat a small smile, slumped against the screens. Behind the plush was another poster of Circus Baby, with the word "CELEBRATE!" underneath. There were lots of wires and pumps around the rooms, open in the area. There was also the security cameras. There were seven different cameras showing seven different rooms. Two showed the halls outside either door and one showed the vent. Ennard reached different points in the vent. When he was at the closest point I had to shut the vent door.

It was simple. All I had to do was survive, and I would win.

Simple.

Simple.

Simp-

He got in.

He froze for a moment, staring at the keypad, ignoring me. I stayed silent. He slowly went toward the keypad. Then he started whispering something.

"1." He put one into the keypad. "9. 8." He paused for a moment. "3." The screens stopped showing static. They showed three different rooms: one was a bedroom, and two were corridors. Ennard whispered again. "It's me." He turned to me again. "It's me."

This raises a lot of questions. Firstly, why the screens were here. You see, William Afton used to come here to watch over his child. Lucy. She was killed by Circus Baby, as you know. Then she must have, her soul… escaped the Circus Baby and entered the nearest thing possible, which happened to a mess of parts. This was Ennard. Ennard then gained mass after all of the other animatronics got scooped, their remaining parts being left over. Thi is why Ennard said 'It's me' when seeing their bedroom. Lucy was killed in 1983. 1. 9. 8. 3. Get it? And the 'It's me' hallucinations in the locations are explained. All of the locations are, well, possessed by Ennard. Every hallucination which he has caused almost solidifies into being. This is the same case for Golden Freddy. Being Charles Afton, her brother, she often thinks of him.

That's all you need to know for now explained. Before his death, Springtrap had taken out Charles' body from the suit, before William got in. I will never know why. In fact, I never saw Ennard after this night.

After saying this to me, Ennard grinned. He contemplated attacking and killing me for a moment, then whispered, "I can wait a while." He left and I was alone again. 6am struck and I left for the lift, I would never see that place again. As I left that day, I thought, yes, about the anti-climax of that night, but also about my future.

I had no idea it would be as short as it was.

EPILOGUE

I would finish this by saying some ending, to me and everyone, but I can't. Because there is still one story left. One to end all. To finish all animatronics, to finish all people.

7 books.

1 story.

The final battle.

One family.

We're all that's left.

"Five Nights At Fredbear's"

"Sister Location"

I have not included FNAF 4, FNAF World or FNAF 6 in this series because I believe they lack the ability to tell a good story. There will be info which could have been gained from them in my other stories instead and I have created my own animatronics as well for one of the books in the series.

Enjoy,

Felix Adler

PROLOGUE

This is the final story. My name is Fritz Smith. I am outside the well-known deserted factory behind the fence with the hole. I am here with my friends: Gabriel, Susan, Robert, Charlie and Jeremy. As the result of a dare, we're here. The dare is for us to go inside. There are rumours that there are things in there, living things. Charlie still didn't want to go.

"Please, guys, this could be life-threatening. Do you not understand that?"

Gabriel replied: "Come on, Charlie don't be a wuss." Gabriel was a bit like the leader of our group. Charlie was still unconvinced, but he followed us anyway.

We all went under the hole in the fence. We had to help Jeremy through, he got stuck. The looming factory doors sent a chill down my spine, I think it did for all of us, but we opened the doors (as they were unlocked) and we went inside. It was dark, so none of us could see anything. "We need to find a light so we can see where we're going." said Robert.

"Where are we going?"

"I don't know. Yet." Everybody started to put their hands over the walls, looking for a switch of some sort. Suddenly, Susan fell over something and screamed. The noise echoed throughout the room.

"Oh! I slipped on a flashlight! How convenient…"

I reached for the flashlight myself. The batteries were in there, and, boy, was it bright. I looked around the room.

"See anything, Fritz?"

"Yes! There's the switch."

"Ow! I just bumped into something!" Robert exclaimed, surprised. I shone my flashlight on the object. It was Rat.

And so it began.

NIGHT 1

Rat turned towards us. "Emit gnol a ni rotisiv a dah t'nevah I." He said, but of course, none of us could understand. Except for the smart one among us.

Jeremy.

"I think he's speaking… backwards."

He was right.

"So he said: 'I haven't had a visitor in a long time.'"

Right again. Rat slinked past us, back into the darkness. We were safe. But not everyone thought so.

"We're going to die, aren't we? We're all going to die." Charlie was starting to panic. But then everyone heard a click.

"What was that?"

"It was the door. He locked the door. The rat!" Jeremy was right yet again. But now we were looking for a way out.

We carried on looking around. The factory was almost empty (or at least at the entrance it was) but anyone could see that it was old. The wallpaper was peeling, revealing a dark brown wall underneath. There were a few tables lying around, all of which had tools, metal objects and posters for some sort of pizzeria. We finally found the light switch for the room. Susan flicked it and the ceiling lights flickered into life. We could hear faint movements all the time, but we couldn't actually see anything moving.

After turning the lights on, we quickly found the double doors to the next room. Charlie nearly refused to move. He curled up into a ball and rocked back and forth in the corner.

"Come on Charlie, it's not the end of the world. We'll find a way out. Then think what we can say to everyone else."

"We're going to die we're going to die we're going to die we're going to-"

He froze.

"What?" asked Robert. "Behind you." Charlie's eyes widened in horror. There was a lollipop with a gigantic smile in a sailor suit. In the air. It gave a deep, booming laugh. Its blue eyes went black, and blood started to drip from them. He rose higher into the air, and carried on laughing. He stared at Robert, and Robert stared back at him. Lollipop raised his hand, and Robert did the same; but not of his own will. "Guys. That's not me. That's not me. That's him. He's doing it-" Lollipop started twitching, vibrating, shaking. It became increasingly violent. But this whole time Robert had been shaking too. "Guys please help me please please-" He was crying, pleading, Gabriel held him but he couldn't stop him. There was nothing we could do. As Robert's shaking became more and more violent, we started to see red around him. He was being torn apart. Robert was now a red, screaming blur. Lollipop's laugh became louder. Then he stopped shaking. Robert did too. His face was lopsided and half of his teeth were half-exposed, covered in blood. One thing was for sure: he had stopped screaming.

"Robert's dead? ROBERT'S DEAD?!" What is going ON here?" Charlie was starting to hyperventilate. All of us were in complete shock. None of us had expected anything like this. Gabriel spoke first: "We have to continue. More of us will die if we don't find a way out soon."

"Wait!" Susan had an idea. "I have my phone on me. I could ring the police…
