Peter opened his eyes.
Just a small dimmed light in the corner of the room near the door.
He squeezed his eyes shut.
peter tried to sit up but he wasnt able to. His body was too weak.
how the hell am i gonna get outta this one?
Peter tried to stay calm and think straight.
he looked down his body, what just made him wish he hadn't.
He was full of bandages. His legs looked squished and angled wrong.
his feet? yeah, the red blood was seaking through the thick bandage.
His arm looked like it had been cut open multiple times.
oh man; that's gonna leave a scar...
His chest hurt. He couldn't breathe right. he had multiple bruises and scars on there
But his head was the worst. It was pounding horribly. Peter was in so much pain.
He could feel that there was already crusted blood on his forehead.
peter closed his eyes.
He just layed there for minutes.
his mind wandered.
what was tony doing at the time?was he planning to rescue him?were the avengers with him?what if they dont find him?what were they gonna do to him?and if the avengers find him?Tony would be so mad at him.they would probably think much less of him. Stupid kid gets himself kidnapped .
Peter's thoughts were all over the place.
When all of a sudden, he heared something from outside.
The walls were pretty thick but his superhearing allowed him to hear at least a little bit.
Just loud noices.
guns?
what was happening out there?That sounds like a huge fight!
Peter so badly wanted to stand up and look for himself but he couldnt move.
With every move he made the pain got worse and he was just so exhausted!
So he decided it would probably be for the best if he'd just doze off again and not think about what would hapen.
And thats what he did for about 5 minutes.
then he heared a loud BANG.
His eyes snapped open.
That was just outside the door!
Peter felt panic coming up inside of him.
what was that?
more gunshots were fired.
the metal table he was laying on was set at the middle of the room. pointed at the door with his feet.
But he couldnt hold his head up so he wasnt even able to see who would open the door.
Peter flinched at the loud sound of the door being pushed in.
Somebody walked in.
"pete?...oh god."
The Avengers had figured out a plan.
Everything was ready.
They were certain to get their Spiderboy out of there.
But it didnt do them any justice when Bucky told them that he recognised the building they were looking at on the Computer from his time with HYDRA .
He remembered that they did experiments there. He hated that place.
"are you sure?" Rhodey asked
"yes." Bucky answered.
"i remember that building very clearly. That's the Base for experiments. They keep their tests there"
That only made the others even more terrified. In what condition would peter be in? what could they have done to him? would he be brainwashed like bucky was? would the boy recognise them?
Tony was the first to break the uncomfortable silence
"okay.Hydra Base or not, lets just get him out of there."
"lets do it" Steve agreed
"we'll get our boy out of there" Natasha added.
and so they all got on Tony's Jet and were on their way to save peter.
it took them a few hours to get there.
Nat and Clint,flying the Jet, landed further away so the agents in the Base wouldnt get them on their Radar.
They stepped out of the Jet and went over the plan one last time.
...
"okay. everybody knows what they have to do? " Tony asked
they all nodded.
Tony and Rhodey went high.
Nat and Clint went into the forrest to sneak up on them.
Wanda and Thor were gonna get them to come outside so Tony and Rhodey would be able to get inside.
Steve, Bucky and Sam went low to keep them occupied,ready to Kick some ass.
Bruce stayed with the Jet, getting everything ready for the flight back and also getting ready to deal with whatever condition peter would be in.
Wanda used her magic to open the big gate. She ripped it out and crushed it in the air.
Tony and Rhodey were waiting to get inside.
When the HYDRA agents realised the intrudors they got their weapon and went outside.
Where Wanda,Thor,Steve,Bucky and Sam were just waiting for them.
Thor hit one with a blast of lightning.
Steve threw his shield and got into the fight.
Sam took one up into the air and Bucky strangled one with his metal arm.
It was a spectacle to watch. The Red and Blue lights from Wanda and Thor .
Thats when Tony and Rhodey took their Chance and flew into the building.
They looked at the plan of the building before, also friday was helping tony to find the location.
"the next left sir" she Lead the way.
Tony got around the corner when something hit him.
Meanwhile the Avengers were taking over the fight.
Nat and Clint had successfully snuck up on them.
They had knocked some out by surprise.
Sam then took Clint to the top of the roof and he took over with his arrow.
Back inside, Tony was being attacked.
It was a big dark figure. Tony wasnt able to tell what he looked like.
From what he could See it was a tall man. And he was really strong.
Probably a new assassin he thought to himself.
Rhodey came to Help out.
But the guy wasnt easy to take Down.
He had some kinda super strength.
Tony was finally able to Land a hit. The guy stumbled into the light.
For the first time, they were able to see the man.
He had a big scar on the left side of his face and was wearing an all black suit.
He had dark hair and the emptyness in his eyes made Tony very uncomfortable.
If he touched my kid... he thought,getting angrier with every blink of his eyes.
The Man cleares his throat.
"you must be the great Tony stark , i've heared a lot of things about you " he smirked at Tony.
Tony looked at Rhodey.
"where is the boy?"
"oh you're here for the kid? hm. yeah i'm sorry he's unavailable right now. "
"what did you do to him?"
"oh i did nothing. seriously, i didnt touch him...But I think the doctors did"
Tony's eyes widened. That's what he's been most worried about.
"you know?- he continued- i think he's not able to talk yet. I'm not even sure if he's able to open his eyes yet."
"I swear to god if you- " Tony got furious but he got interrupted
"i just noticed, I didnt even introduce myself. I'm deeply sorry for my behaviour.-he took a step forward to Tony and Rhodey.- my name is Cattler."
That's when Rhodey started to talk.
"Cattler? - he asked in disbelieve- YOU are Cattler? "
"what?" Tony asked "is there something I'm missing?"
"Tony- Rhodey turned to him and put his hands on Tony's shoulders - Its Cattler.I told you about him.Remember? Last week!He is the one we've been looking for for months. He was one of the men that created ...the winter soldier"
Tony narrowed his brows.
"him?"
"YES HIM" Rhodey turned to cattler again.
"so I see you've heared about me...fantastic" he smiled at the men.
"you're not gonna get away with this" Tony mumbled as he took a step towards Cattler.
"I beg to differ"
Tony fought with all the anger and pain coming up inside of him.
He had to get to his boy. He had to take this man down.
He and Rhodey gave their best. And they'd managed to leave the man with a bleeding nose.
Mr Cattler seemed to enjoy this.
This is taking forever -Tony thought.
He used all the tricks his suit had.
but when he thought he had him, Cattler got up and managed to trap Tony.
Rhodey was trapped a few meters away. He was sitting with his back to the wall.
Tony tried to free himself. But he didnt even have time to do so.
Just when Cattler wanted to take the final hit- his fist stopped in the air- it froze.
He looked at tony, confused- but he couldnt move his arm.
Next second he was thrown onto the wall.
And out of the shadows came Wanda.
She glanced at Tony and Rhodey.
"thought you two boys could need some help" She moved her hands and freed them both.
"thanks" Tony said. He gave a little smirk to her. She knew what that meant. Stark wasnt great with emotion but that smirk meant "thank you for your help,couldnt have done it without you" .
She waved her hand at tony- "now go find peter"
"you go, tony, I'm gonna stay with her and make sure mr. bad guy right here- Rhodey pointed at Cattler laying on the ground- will get where he belongs."
So Tony turned around and made his way to where he hoped his son would be waiting for him.
On his way to the located room he took down a few other men. no big deal tho.
He took a deep breath when he was finally standing infront of the door.
He blew it open with his suit.
His first sight was Peter. Laying on some kind of metalic Table. Tied up. Eyes closed. Bruises. Scars. Blood.Medical bags. Cables attached to him.
"Pete?...oh god.."
