Autumn is not a good time to come to the beach, and Kaoru was the one who actually made his way there. He come to the beach, looks like a fool who is wandering around the seaside with his pair of bare foot in the midnight. The ocean looks so beautiful at the moment, the salt water is shining within the moonlight, the wet stones and shells looks like diamonds, and there's no such something like city noises because there's just him alone with himself.

Something catch the blond's attention, a crowd of newborn sea turtles with the one of them stuck at a plastic bag. Just in no time Kaoru bring his foot near that tiny beauty creatures, help the sea turtle out then make sure their way safe to the ocean, and at the time he saw the ocean he couldn't take his eyes off from it.

Kaoru remembered something out of the blue, something rather stupid when he used to live with his mother. Kaoru remembered he used to begging so much to his mother to accompany him searched for such mythical creature like mermaid at night around here, no matter how busy and unwell she is, he still insisted her to. Kaoru couldn't find what he was looking for, but they spent the time happily together as long as he remember, and the next thing he remembered is how cold his mother's hands was.

"Damn... The saltbreeze is so gross right now, I can't stop my tear..."

The saltbreeze is not the problem, is just him who can't stop crying. How foolish, he has been a fool since long ago, a stubborn, fool, and careless kid. Yet his mother always call him a good boy until her last breathe, he doesn't understand his mother at all. Though people always calls him a fool and he always play a bad image, he wonder, will his mother still called him a good boy?

'Kaoru-chan is a good boy'

A soft voice appeared in his head with the sense of warm wrapped his body, maybe that was come from one of his memories, maybe just a hallucination, or maybe ghost does really exist. Ridiculous.

"A— I forgot to give you the flowers Rei-kun gave me the past days, mom. They must be withered right now... Kaoru-chan will bring you a new one tomorrow, a big bouquet full of rose and carnation. I promise~ so please just wait peacefully at your resting place okay?"

With the warm that dissapear, Kaoru now realize how cold the wind is. Maybe it's time to comeback to his dorm— wait, where the place he left his shoes before? Ah, now he really become a fool. He must search his shoes first, comeback to ES dorm, then sneak into the dorm to not wake anyone up.
