Tony sighed."so Peter is a hydra brainwashed assassin?"
They stayed there for a few minutes, looking at the boy sleeping calmly in his hospital bed.He looked so peaceful at first sight but the longer they looked at him the more they could see the pain and horror on their boy.
Later the Team decided to leave and get some rest. Tony didnt take his eyes off peter.
"Tony" Natasha said, seeing the man standing at the glass and staring at his son, "come with us Tones"
Tony let out a sigh and swept a tear away "yeah i know...i just...i cant believe it. I thought we finally had him back Nat.
I really thought my son was..."
Nat hugged him from the side. "its okay."
He pulled her closer and they stayed there,with all those worrying thoughts swirling around inside their heads.
When Tony had calmed himself down Nat took him back to the Suite where all the others were.
They entered the kitchen.Tony sat down at the island and rested his head on his hands.
"Anybody want a coffee or tea?" Nat tried to break the tense silence.
Thor turned around "uh yeah a coffee would be great thank you.You know how I drink my coffe right?"
"one pure black coffe for Pointbreak " Natasha mumbled.
Thor smiled at her. Nat is always the one holding the Team together. Trying to cheer everybody up when it seems impossible.
"anybody else?" Nat asked one more time.
"I'd actually prefer a nice Whiskey right now" Steve answered quietly.
"Yeah.." Bucky added "i think we could all use that right now.."
2 minutes later Nat had finished with the coffee and gave it to Thor. "thank you dear" he said with a soft smile.
She sat down next to Wanda on the couch and drank her coffee.After 5 more minutes she layed down, her head resting on wanda's lap and staring at the ceiling. Wanda started braiding her hair.
They all stayed quiet like that for a few more minutes when they suddenly got interrupted by F.R.I.D.A.Y alerting them "Mr. stark, Peter Parker has woken up"
Tony's head shot up "can i come down?"
"I'm sorry to inform you that Mr.Parker has actually requested the presence of Mr.Barnes"
Bucky narrowed his eyebrows,looking at Tony with a big questionmark floating above his head.
"are you sure fri?" Tony asked the AI
"yes boss. Mr.Parker indeed insisted that mr. barnes would come and join him exactly 1 minute and 50 seconds ago"
"well..." Tony looked at Bucky "get down there rambo "
Bucky chuckled at the Nickname and got up. He made his way to the elevator and pressed the Button to get down to medbay.
"why would he want buck with him first?" Steve asked,looking at the group.
"i dont know" Sam answered him.
"want me to take a look at it?" Wanda asked joking.
Nat snorred,getting up. Tony just rolled his eyes at the suggestion.
"wanda." Steve startet his lecture "we talked about this. no more- "
"looking inside people's heads and reading their minds.I know, i know" wanda completed his sentence.
Nat hit her."stop it guys"

Bucky walked along the corridor.Thinking about why peter would want to talk to him first.It didnt make any sense to him.
It would have made more sense to him if the boy would have asked for his father since they were really close.But he wanted him.He wanted Bucky.
He made it to peter's room and stopped in front of it. You couldnt look inside anymore because the curtains to the glass were closed.
He took a deep breath and opened the door.
Peter was laying in bed.No Expression.He was just laying there, very unlike peter.
Bucky closed the door behind him and looked at the boy.
Peter stared back.
Bucky didnt know what to do.He cleared his throat and took a step forward.
"what's wrong with me?" Peter suddenly let out.
He looked at him.The Winter Soldier was at a loss of words.After a few seconds he got himself together and took a deep breath.He would just say it as it it.
"Peter. We think that you were brainwashed by hydra".
The boy's expression didnt change."like you?"
"yeah like me."
"did i...did i do any..." Peter let out a sigh "did i do anything?"
Bucky's eyes widened "no! no kid you didnt do anything,dont worry"
"ok" peter mumbled under his breath.
the room went silent again.
"peter." Bucky started
"hm?"
"why did you want to talk to me? why me?"
Peter looked at the ground,holding his head low "because you have experience with Hydra,i guess. i thought you'd be the best one to...talk about this kinda stuff to because you can understand the best.."
why didnt i think of that?- Bucky thought to himself.-That makes so much sense.
"do you know anything else?" peter asked .
"well..." Bucky told him everything they knew of,trying his best to stay calm and assure the kid that he's gonna be fine
After about 20 minutes the room went silent again.
"wow" was what peter got out first.
"yeah i know. its..."
"fucked up"
Bucky smiled.Tony and Steve always told him not to use that kind of language.
"you said it kid."
"so do you know how to fix it?" Peter asked, his voice filled with hope.
Bucky shook his head . "i'm sorry"
Peter lowered his head again.
"how did you do it?"
"i had a lot of time and Steve and Sam got me through most of it"
"oh yeah,right. I forgot"
"but i'm 100% sure we will find a solution quickly.The others are already working on it. And we're searching though every Hydra file and every safe-house"
"i just dont wanna hurt people Bucky" Peter said,sounding weakened.
Bucky came closer and sat down at the end of peter's bed. "i know."
Bucky saw a tear escaping the boy's eye.
"hey Peter.We will fix this okay? you wont have to hurt people.I promise you that."
"thank you bucky" Peter looked back up.
Bucky smiled at him,nodding his head.
"so i still have something that triggers the...my actions right?"
"Yes. They seem to have put something inside your head with which they have control"
"but you'll get that put of there"
"bruce and dr. Cho are working on it. Its not that simple. At first we didnt even know there was anything wrong."
"i just hope they find something soon."
Bucky nodded along.
"but as long as we dont talk in russian everything should be fine"
Peter looked at him,confused.
"because of the trigger words"

"They're in russian"
"right...the trigger words" Peter rested his head in his hand."i'm sorry.I'm just really confused right now.I dont...I dont know how I..." Another tear slipped out and he sobbed quietly.
"shhhh" Bucky hugged him "I Know,dont be sorry peter.Take your time"
