The Little Girl and the Ottomans

Chapter 13

The Smexual Realm:

When Owen and Jenny woke up, they fount themselves floating along in space. The robot looked around to see if Scout was with them, but he had apparently vanished. She sighed in annoyance, knowing it was going to be a LOT harder to get the gang back. But something was off about this place. It didn't have the same feel as did the mountains they appeared in. So much was this fact that she had no idea if they were even in the Smexual Realm.

"Oh geez, where is the ground!?" Owen yelled, trying to steady himself as he floated along in space. Jenny activated her boosters and flew towards him, grabbing his arm to help steady him. "Thanks."

"You get used to it after a while," she told him. It was then that they noticed something strange off in the distance. An orange...something floated through space like a river. Jenny pushed a button on the side of Owen's pack, activating a jetpack. With it, they flew towards the orange thing. It was made up of thousands of tiny orange flecks. Jenny picked one of them and analyzed it. However, despite her advanced tools, she could not dictate what the object is.

"I...I don't understand..."

"What is it that you, a robot that knows essentially anything, not understand," Owen asked while scanning the immediate space for a nearby planet. Jenny blinked a bit as she let go of the orange object.

"The Smexual Realm...it shouldn't be this organized. Everything is supposed to be broken here but, right now, its seems relatively normal, say a few things here and there," she told him. She looked down at her wrist and activated a hologram map. It took some time to figure out what the immediate area looked like, but it detected a planet very close by. And, to her surprise, everyone was there. Scout, Soldier, and even Demo were showing up on that one planet.

"I guess we know where to go, right?" Without warning, Jenny grabbed hold of his arm. Her boosters began to go full throttle, and, within a few seconds, the two found themselves directly above the planet's atmosphere. It was a miracle that Owen didn't disintegrate into quarks by the time it was over. The robot lets go of him as they begin their slow descent down towards the planet's surface.

"How in the world did you go so fast!? I thought FTL travel wasn't possible!" Owen questioned her.

"Erm...I can't remember exactly. I think my mom might've given me a FTL engine a long time ago, but it may have been lost in one of my terabyte-sized computer chips," she replied, rubbing the back of her head. Owen blinked at her behind his mask. FTL speed? Terabyte computer chips? How advanced was she!?

"If you could've traveled that fast, why couldn't you catch those bastards before they flew into the portal?" he continued.

"I don't know...I had to deal with the portal as well, you know!" she pouted. After a while, they finally met the ground. Strange plants covered the landscape as they began to walk at a brisk pace. Jenny pulled out her holomap and discovered that the team was in a village not too far from their location. With that information in hand, both literally and figuratively, she and Owen took off. She did not fly as fast, only about the speed of a jet. Owen had some trouble trying to catch up, but Jenny helped him out a bit.

The village was not what they expected. They thought it would look like a beach-front paradise you'd see in France or Italy. Instead, the infrastructure, buildings, even the people look like they belong in someone's DMT-ridden dreams. The villagers paid no mind to the pair as they made their way through the village.

"This place is kinda freaking me out. Where are those guys?" Owen asked her.

"Were close...actually, they're closing in on us!"

"What do you me-" before he could finish, something akin to a vehicle zoomed by them, followed by other vehicles. Jenny checked her holomap and, sure enough, the gang were in the first vehicle.

"What did they do now?" Jenny asked herself. She took off after them, Owen having to run because his boosters apparently ran out of charge. The robot observed the chase from above. The police vehicles were firing strange, orange blobs at the team's vehicle, while she could see Soldier and Sniper firing off plasma rounds back. She sighed as she zoomed down towards them. As she flew past them, she noticed that they acted as if they weren't even in the Smexual Realm, which confused the daylights out of her. She approached the driver window to find Engi driving. He looked worried about something. She knocked on his window, and he rolled it down.

"Jenny? Mah god you actually made it," he said with joy.

"What did you guys do? I had to travel across space to find you guys!" she questioned him.

"Solly tried getting into a fight with this big yellow dude, and he sent the darn police after us! You got extendo-arms, right? Pick us up and fly us out of here!" she nodded and flew to the top of the vehicle. Orange blobs flew past her as her arms began to stretch, wrapping themselves around the vehicle and tightening like rope. She pulled up with ease, Soldier and Sniper forcing the back door closed so nobody falls out. As she flew off, the big yellow being that Engi mentioned stuck his head out of the window of one of the police vehicles.

He aimed towards the gang with a strange, globe-like device with a pointy tip. With excellent precision, he fired an orange glob from the tip. Without realizing it, the glob splashed against her leg, melting it away with ease despite her metallic skin. She began to lose control, and, soon, both she and the team plummeted towards the ground. Owen observed from afar, only to see them crash into a forest covered in snow.

"Oh shittt..." he ran towards the forest, pushing multiple people out of the way to leave the weirdly-shaped villa. He pulled out the dual pistols just in case something tries to come after him. When he arrived, he could see smoke rising from somewhere a little bit away. He tripped on a rock that was concealed by the grayish-looking snow, alerting the team. Soldier and Engi went to see what was up, but he dropped his pistols and raised his hands in surrender, despite him not knowing if they were even planning on doing anything.

"Your the new guy, right?" Engi asked him. Owen nodded. Engi shook his head as he motioned him to come to camp. As Owen walked in, he was shocked to find Jenny, her leg having been melted clean off, and leaking oil. Her eyes were unstable, flickering like a lightbulb that's about to break. Demo had apparently been shot as well, but Medic healed him with his medigun, so there was no harm there. But Jenny...she wasn't moving.

"Medic! Heal her, quick!" Owen ordered.

"Sorry...whoever you are...but ze medigun cannot heal ze robot. That job is for zat Engineer," he replied. Owen looked over to Engi, who could only shrug.

"Ah forgot me wrench at the base. I can't repair her until we get home," he told Owen. Scout frowned as he continued watch, making sure nobody was going to get them.

"Well, we better get back to whatever dimension that were from, because I definitely don't like it here," Owen said, putting his back against a tree and taking off his helmet. However, he wasn't expecting it to let out the gasp of a little girl. He yelped in shock as he face-planted into the snow. Everyone drew out their weapons, thinking it was a spy.

"Show yourself! Your white flag does not stop American bullets!" Soldier commanded. Time passed, and whoever this figure was had not emerged yet. They were starting to believe that they must be hearing things. Just as they were about to settle back down, however, a figure emerged from behind a tree. It was, surprisingly, a teen girl. Her face, body, and clothes looked similar to some of the townsfolk they just escaped from. But something about her sat her apart from them. She didn't seem ordinary, for sure.

"Mind tellin' us who you are, girl?" Engi asked, taking off his helmet for a bit.

"...Bell."

"Bell? Is that it or?"

"I was always just been called Bell," she told the crew. Scout rolled his eyes as he jumped down from a tree.

"Sorry girl, we don't need visitors right now. Now scram or I'll-"

"Where are you guys from?" Bell asked, tilting her head. Scout fawned over her cuteness and dropped his bat. Engi cleared his throat.

"We are from another dimension, as you can probably guess by the way we look," he told her straight. He would've made the gang's intentions vague as to not give themselves away, but he felt a strange aura of trust coming off of her. It was as if she was trying to get them to believe that she was simply an innocent teen. It was then that Bell looked down at Jenny. Her eyes widened a bit.

"Is this robot a friend of yours?" she asked as he got down on one knee to observe the damage caused by the blast.

"You bet she is!" Scout told her. Bell looked at him weird before she closed her eyes.

"Splat, come." From that moment, something began to slowly spew out from her mouth. Everyone looked on in horror as some sort of red blob emerged, landing on the ground with a splat. It began to move, almost like jello, before it coiled around her arms and neck like a snake. A small part of it, seemingly its head, looked at her as she scraped a hand full of snow and dirt.

"What in the actual...what s that thing!?" Owen questioned her.

"If you revealed that you aren't normal, then I'm not scared to tell you my own secrets. This is Splat. He's this planet's mythical being. He made a connection with me when I asked him to create a body for my sickly mother," Bell began.

"Wait, did you say CREATE a body? Like, from scratch?" Medic asked.

"Yeah." Splat slowly covered her hand, absorbing the dirt and snow before it began to vibrate a bit. Before long, it spat out pieces of material that, after a while, made an exact replica of Jenny's leg! Everyone was shocked that it could do so, and even more so when it dragged the leg to Jenny and attached it to her with ease.

"I got to get myself one of those," Medic said to himself. Engi wiped sweat from his brow as he sat down by Jenny's side. Despite the new leg, she wasn't moving.

"You think your friend here can make oil?"

"...what kind of oil?" Bell asked as she confusingly looked at Splat.

"Some high-grade car oil, I think," Engi told her. Instead of making new oil, Splat slipped off of her arm and collected dirt stained by Jenny's oil loss. After vibrating for a bit, it made a motion signifying for them to help flip her over. They did so, and were shocked when the slime entered Jenny's body through her mouth. They waited for Splat to finish its work, and watched as it exited Jenny the way he went in. It was only a matter of time before Jenny's eyes turned back on, and, surprisingly, she did so. Everyone let out a sigh of relief as Jenny looked down at her legs. She was confused, she swore that one of them was melted off. That's when she notices Bell and Splat.

"I'm guessing from the giant...single-celled organism your carrying that you aren't all that normal," she asked, slowly standing up, though a bit shakily. Soldier and Engi rush to help her up as Splat wrapped itself around her neck, forming into a scarf. She nodded as Jenny approached her. "Why...why do you look familiar?"

"What do you mean?"

"I remember seeing a black haired, green wearing girl from the place I belong to," she told the girl.

"Maybe its an alternate universe version of me? If that man with the yellow hat said your from an "alternate dimension," than maybe that theory holds merit?" Bell said. Jenny crouched a bit so that she could be at eye level with the girl.

"Does your name happen to be Bella by any chance?" Everyone besides Owen looked at her in shock. She does look like that girl a bit...

"N-No, but I am called Bell," she told Jenny with a smile. Jenny couldn't believe her optics. The similar looks, the slime-like sidekick, and even the name. That theory Bell proposed...it seemed to be true.

"If that Russian girl has an alternate universe self, I wonder what mine looks like," Scout said while flexing his arm. "Probably has all the ladies considering how handsome I am!"

"My I provide a second opinion? You are ALSO ugly!" Medic yelled at him, apparently continuing a conversation from before this incident. Scout was ready to throw hands before Jenny cleared her voice box.

"There is no need for that. We got to get back to our place."

"May I come with you?" Jenny and the gang looked towards Bell, who looked rather embarrassed. "For the record, there are dangerous people chasing me because of Splat, so I kinda want to get out of here as fast as I can."

"Don't you have parents to go to?" Jenny asked. Bell shook her head no. Jenny gave her a sympathetic look before looking back at the team.

"Do we have some sort of inter-dimensional communicator on our hands? It could help us contact your base," Owen questioned the robot. She closed her eyes for a moment before the pigtail-like antennae on her head suddenly began to transform, as well as pieces of her head opening and closing until a satellite dish and phone were now present on her head.

"She's like a sexy Swiss knife...I like that," Scout interrupted, only to get smacked by Medic's glove. Jenny, unaware of his flirts, began to dial the base, seeing if she can contact them. It was a lot of effort, and her head felt like it could explode due to the interference. But, after a few minutes, a distorted voice played on the receiver.

"H-hello?"

"Val!?" Owen rushed to Jenny and took the phone from her. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine u-uncle. Where are you?"

"Were in some sort of alternate dimension. I don't understand it myself, but are you guys able to get the portal back on?" Owen asked.

"T-the engineers over on our side are working on it. I think they should fix it by tomorrow morning," Val replied, the static beginning to worsen.

"Val? Can you hear me?" The static was too much for Jenny to bear, and the satellite dish and phone disappeared into her head. She collapsed, her internal fans blowing at supersonic speeds.

"You hear that boys? If we get back to those floating mountains, we might be able to get home," Engi said.

"That...might be true. But...can we wait until my internal systems are not overheating first?" Jenny suggested, resting herself against a tree.

"Yeah, we better let you rest. We'll leave first thing in the morning. I suggest we get some sleep, yah hear?"

Meanwhile, in the normal universe on Cluster Prime:

Among the many beetle-like robots that scour the land and work hard for their queen, a mysterious stranger in a cloak makes his way through. Despite not seeing anything about him, a long, cat-like tail stretched out from beneath the bottom of the cloak. As well, yellow, cat-like eyes shown through the void that was covering his face. The figure clutched his fists tightly as he made his way up the steps to the palace.

Scanners above the large doors activated, sending green lasers that scanned the figure's entire body. Unexpectedly, the scanners shut off, and the door opened, signifying that he was allowed through. He smirked under his cloak as he made his way to the throne room. And there, sitting impatiently and annoyed by the distraction, was Queen Vexus herself. She looked down at the figure, both physically and figuratively.

"Remove your cloak!" She ordered. He did as he was told, and out came...Tai Lung!

"My sincere apologies for not getting here on time, my queen. Finding a ship to get me here was a lot harder than expected," he told the queen.

"I don't care about that, soldier. Do you have it? The scroll, is it with you!?" she demanded an answer. Tai Lung smirked before his chest began to split open, just like a robot, revealing a red container with jade corks on each end. Vexus grinned evilly before it gravitated towards her. "Making you a robot was probably the best way for you to get this done, you see?"

"It was a masterful decision, my queen. I had some difficulties near the end of my search, but I got it, just for you," the now apparent robot humal told her. Vexus pulled one of the corks off, throwing it away with enough force to shatter it. She shook it a few times to get whatever was inside out, and, instead of a piece of paper she expected, it was a small USB drive. It struck her as odd, since the container looks more fit for a scroll. She plugged the USB inside a compartment in her arm, and the wealth of information she was after flooded into her database.

"Finally...we found them," she said to herself. She laughed before shining a bunch of holograms from her arm. Each one had a call coming on, and each member of the syndicate, minus Shin, Dan, Bowser, and Grey Mann came online.

"Greetings to all. I have news that you all may appreciate," she told them.

"And what exactly is it, robot?" Hahvulon, which for some reason went by the name Prevailing Nightmare now, questioned the queen.

"My plan on resurrecting ancient warriors from the past as a machine to find the map was a success!" Tai Lung stood by her, a proud smirk on his face.

"About time. I was beginning to think that Shin wasn't cut out for this," Cortex interjected.

"What is on this map? I must know," a mysterious voice came from the "Amayce" screen. She pulled up the map for each member to focus on.

"Each blue dot here represents a storage of a little known, but VERY powerful crystal. Its so rare and powerful, that the only being that knew what exactly it did was a human named Einstein. Evestal, as he called it, is immune to magic and psychological attacks, except elemental ones for some reason," Vexus explained.

"I've heard of this crystal...my sworn enemy is made of the stuff," Prevailing Nightmare said.

"If we can get at these stashes of crystals, we will be immune to magic! We know that our new enemies are very fluent in magic, and to ever be able to fight them easily, we have to get it," Vexus told them.

"Without their precious map, they won't be able to stop our mission! Haha!"

"You mustn't be careless, mortal. My enemy is very, very cautious about his crystals. He knows every exact location of even a milligram of his crystal, so he come running if we accidentally activate it," Prevailing Nightmare warned the mad scientist.

"So, do any of you have a plan of some sort?" Vexus questioned.

"I'm not done talking, robot," the devilish voice of Prevailing Nightmare interjected. "I have heard of an alternate universe version of your enemy, Amayce. Her "slime" apparently has the ability to create bodies out of material that it takes in. Once we gather enough of my enemy's crystal, we can use her slime to make crystal armor, or, in your case robot, a new body, made of that very crystal."

"Its an interesting bout, for sure. Are you able to reach this girl?" Vexus asked. She only heard a loud huff from the end of the receiver, so she believes that he can.

"I also believe that we need to get Shin back. He could use those crystals to create some sort of super-powered laser, much more powerful than the one he was working on before our stroll into Algiers," Lofel added.

"That could be true...alright. We know what to do now, right? PN, you will go and find this girl. Tai Lung, Cortex, Ramses, and Carno, you all will try and get Shin out of prison. The rest of us will get as much evestal as we can. We clear?" Everyone that was visible nodded. Vexus smirked as the calls soon ended.

Their first plan may of been wrecked, but they won't fail, this time.

Listen, this story is non-canon, sure, but I suddenly really want to work on it again. Its been over a year, its past due for a new chapter. I also plan on reworking some things as well, so stay tuned. Imagine that this is a little gift for the new year and the new decade ;)

BTW, I reworked the Smexual Realm to instead fit the bill for an obscure but great anime known as Kaiba. Go check it out, its free on Crunchyroll.
