Special Thanks to Justine Navarro (DenouncingWhalesofVenice) for being my co-writer of this fan made episode of Harvey Beaks!

There are many families in Littlebark, such as the Beaks, the De Luca's, the Robert's, the Wellington's, and many more! Now a lot of the time friends like to meet their friends families and families can be different in many ways from theirs. Sometimes on culture, lifestyles, likings, the list goes on.

On a Wednesday afternoon at school, Kratz and Mikey were talking to each other in the hall way after a long quiz in History class. "Why did Mr. Murray have to make these quizzes so hard?" asked Kratz. "Just typical Mr. Murray thinking he can overload us with work," Mikey replied. "You doing anything after school?" asked Kratz. "No, why?" asked Mikey. "I was thinking maybe we could hang out," Kratz replied. "Sure!" Mikey said, "Let's go over your house, I haven't met your family yet." This made Kratz give Mikey an uncomfortable look. "I don't think we should, I'd be better off at your house," Kratz rejected. Mikey was confused, "Why do you say that?" "The truth is it's my siblings," explained Kratz, "Their names are Terrence and Mia, you may have heard of them. They often pick on me for just about everything I do. Mia is very rude towards me and Terrence is just a straight up bully." "Surely it can't be that bad," assumed Mikey, "I'd like to meet your family too." Kratz sighed, "Fine...but you'll get the point once you meet Terrence and Mia."

2 hours later...

Once Kratz and Mikey walked out of the school when it was over, Kratz mother waited for them outside. Her name was Maria, she was a Portuguese immigrant who worked as a substitute teacher for Littlebark Elementary from time to time (which kind of embarrassed Kratz) but for the most part she stayed at home often to care for Kratz and his siblings. "Hello boys," she called. Mikey and Kratz waved back and said hello. From their, Maria drove them to the Abrahamson household, which was Kratz's family name.

"Kratz tells me many good things about you," Maria said, "He needs a good friend especially with how things have been for him in his life." "It's called bad luck mom," Kratz sighed. "You sound like your father and he thinks he's got bad luck too!" Maria laughed, "Bad luck is just a bunch of mumbo jumbo. It is all just up to random chance but hey, it's just my personal opinion."

Soon enough, they arrived to Kratz house. They went inside and were greeted by Kratz's father Glenn and Kratz's infant brother Winston. Glenn worked as a truck driver for Milton's Trucking Inc. He would usually work long shifts taking mostly tankers filled with liquid nitrogen or regular trailers containing packages that need to be delivered to facilities, airports, and companies all across Big Bark Woods and even sometimes beyond the county. Winston is Kratz's infant brother and has been voted the cutest baby in Littlebark Grove. There isn't too much to say about him due to being so young other than being very cute but he and Kratz are very close.

"It's a pleasure to meet you kid," Glenn said, "Say hello to Mikey Winston." Winston didn't exactly say hi but he did wave his arms in a way to say hello to Mikey. "Aww, you didn't tell me you had a little brother Kratz," Mikey said to Kratz. "I forgot to tell you about me having a new baby brother recently," he replied, "But anyway, that's one of my brothers a.k.a. Winston. He's the newest member of the Abrahamson family." Winston continued to play with his toys while Glenn supervised him.

Mikey and Kratz went into the kitchen. "You hungry or anything?" asked Kratz. "No I'm good," Mikey replied. They heard two walking down the stairs as Kratz gulped. "Oh gosh no," Kratz said to himself. To no surprise it was Terrence and Mia, they stared at Mikey for a moment then stared at Kratz. "Hey bonehead, you gonna introduce your friend to us or what?" asked Mia rudely. "This is Mia and Terrence my older siblings," sighed Kratz. "You got that right Crutches!" Terrence said. "Crutches?" asked Mikey. "It's a nickname Terrence likes to give me," Kratz said. "Well maybe don't get yourself hurt so much then," laughed Mia. "Crutches here really has to take care of himself better," Terrence said. Mia and Terrence walked off as they high fived.

Some time later, Kratz and Mikey played some Great Car Heist IV on the Woodstation 3. Mikey could tell Kratz was still unhappy in a way. "You alright Kratz?" asked Mikey. "Not really no," Kratz replied, "To be honest, aside from me being unfortunate and having bad luck despite some thinking it isn't, that's only half the reason why I am unhappy. The truth is Mia and Terrence are the other half of why I am so unhappy, all they do is pick on me for everything I do." "Have you tried telling your parents?" asked Mikey. "I have but they're often times too busy," Kratz said sadly, "My mom is often supervising Winston as he is still an infant and can be mischievous. My dad is often out driving trucks to provide the money we need. This unfortunately leaves me often dealing with 2 siblings that try to make me feel bad about myself and sadly it works, at least Winston doesn't see me as a waste of space nor do my parents but even then, I just wish either my mom or dad would be able to listen to my problems. On top of that, my bad luck too."

Mikey felt bad for Kratz knowing some truth on why his friend was so often depressed. He couldn't relate to Kratz too well since he didn't have any siblings but he did want to help out his friend the best to his ability. "Would you like to play another game?" asked Mikey. "Yeah, there are some good games on the family laptop," Kratz said, "But I can't use it because my siblings are constantly among it."

Mikey paused the game and looked at Kratz. "Dude let me be honest with you," Mikey told Kratz, "I understand the struggles your going through but despite all of that, you still have us to talk to about your problems. You got many good friends like me, Harvey, the list goes on! Heck, you even got a girlfriend out of all of us Littlebark kids! In a way you have some good luck on your side." "I guess," Kratz said doubtfully. "You can't always focus on the negatives in life because I know there are plenty positives too," Mikey went on, "Even if there is more bad than good, you have to look on the bright side of life. Don't let the bad things consume you because you have many good things to be happy about. Even if your parents are often busy, they seem very nice and seem to love you even if they often have things to do. Are they gonna be working today?" "No, they both have the day off," replied Kratz. "In that case after our time hanging out, you should tell them about how you have been feeling while you have the chance," Mikey said, "Until then don't worry about the negatives, just have fun with me. I think I have a song for you to listen to."

Mikey grabbed his phone and a pair of extra headphones. Kratz put on the headphones and listened to the song. "What's the name of this song?" "Look on the Bright Side of Life," Mikey replied. At first Kratz didn't seem into the song but then he began to enjoy it as he began to hum to the song. "Perhaps I was too harsh on myself," smiled Kratz, "Maybe there is a purpose for me in life." "I believe there is," Mikey said smiling as well, "I mean look at your amazing comics! You bring happiness to many with Johnny Tornado. Now, what was it we wanted to do again?"

They borrowed the laptop as they found out it wasn't been used and was available. They decided to play Bark Kart Racing Sim 2009, from there Kratz day only went better. He and Mikey had a good few laughs and overall had a good rest of the time. Some hours went by and it was time for Mikey to leave. They said their goodbyes and hope Mikey could hang out again soon.

Afterwards, Mia and Terrence went to see Kratz in his room. "Gee Crutches, didn't think you and froggy boy were gonna be such good friends like I hoped," laughed Terrence. "What do you want?" Kratz asked annoyed by his older siblings. "We came here because we noticed you were in a good mood for some unknown reason," Mia replied, "We kind of liked the emo Kratz, like a lot better!" "Do you know what?" asked Kratz in a loud tone, "Leave my room and stop trying to be showoffs! After all, you both have the lowest grades out of any students in Littlebark High." Kratz could tell that statement really angered them, they hated being reminded of their poor grades. "Alright then, we'll leave," said Terrence, "After I do this!" Terrence gave Kratz a wedgie as Kratz groaned through gridded teeth. "We know you ain't got the courage to tell on us because your too emo and depressed to do such a thing," Mia said sternly to Kratz as she and Terrence walked out. Kratz knew a way to get back at his older siblings and this would be an opportunity for him to finally talk with his parents. Eventually he did get the chance.

Maria and Glenn were sitting in the living room with Winston. "Hey mom, dad. Can I talk with you about something?" asked Kratz. "Sure, what is it that you wanna talk about?" asked Glenn. Kratz told them about his luck, how he has been feeling, and the treatment he receives from Terrence and Mia.

"As far as bad luck goes look at me, I have practically the same luck as you do," Glenn said, "You can't always focus on the negatives son, I did for a very long time back when I was growing up in Texas. I later realized there was more to me than just to get back luck or get picked on. It only got better when I became assistant manager at a sandwich store in a Barkmart and got to meet your mother as she was one of my employees. At first we didn't get along and often fought until we found ways to get along. We become good friends for a long while, little did we know we'd fall in love a year and a half later." "Although I don't really believe in this bad luck stuff, your father makes a very good point," Maria said, "In a way, I had some bad luck too. My childhood wasn't too nice to me back when I was living in my old country, my parents were very harsh to me. They were never satisfied with anything I did and called me many things like a failure for instance. My friends and teachers kept me on my feet and gave me confidence in myself. When I was 18, I got out of Portugal and decided to start a new life out in the US. Little did I know I'd meet the love of my life and start a family with him." Maria put her hand on Glenn's as Glenn rolled his eyes sarcastically. "The point is Kratz, you must have some hope even if things don't always look bright," Glenn added, "Mia and Terrence we'll have a talk with before dinner. Until then, do whatever makes you happy. At least if Mia and Terrence aren't happy with your talents, you got your parents and little brother who are proud of you."

Maria and Glenn had a stern talk with Mia and Terrence. "Is it true that you both have been bullying Kratz?" asked Maria in a stern tone. The two siblings didn't know what to say but they thought they could come up with a good lie. "Us bullying Kratz?" asked Terrence, "We'd never bully him. Maybe we joked around with him but we'd never bully him." Glenn could tell they were bluffing judging by their facial expressions. "You sure?" he asked. Mia and Terrence nodded to what he said. Glenn looked at Maria, trying to hint to her that he could tell their eldest kids were lying. "We don't know if we should believe you or not," said Maria, "You both are grounded for 3 weeks which means no going to your friend's birthday party Mia and no practicing with band members Terrence."

This made Mia tell the truth almost immediately. "Okay we did be bullies to Kratz!" she admitted, "We're sorry for what we did! We'll do anything to lift the punishments or at the very least reduce them!" This made Terrence very angry, "Mia! You sell out! Your such a sellout for saying that!" "Pfft! Hey just be glad your older sister was on your side the entire time!" Mia snapped. "So you both did bully Kratz?" Maria asked sternly. Terrence stuttered trying to come up with an excuse but it was no use, "Ugh! Fine! We did bully Kratz, I admit it! But please listen to Mia, we'll do anything to make up for what we did to Kratz!" "Anything?" asked Maria. "Yes anything," Mia added.

Glenn and Maria thought of something. "Well then," Glenn began, "You can start by doing chores all around the house, inside and out for next 2 weeks." "Hopefully this will be a lesson to you both," said Maria. She and her husband walked off to cook dinner, leaving Terrence and Mia with a lot to think about.

Kratz in his room could hear what happened as he laughed quitely. His plan had worked successfully, thanks to the advice Mikey gave him. Kratz decided from now on, he'd try to stick with the positives of life, the best he could. Even though he may often times still be a downer, it was thanks to Mikey that helped him keep him on his feet and thanks to that song Mikey introduced to him. Kratz felt like he was worth something to everyone. Despite still being unlucky most of the time, he does his best to try and stay positive.

THE END!

This is a story me and Justine Navarro (DenouncingWhalesofVenice) have been working on since August and I am glad to have released this! In my picture of Kratz family (if you check out Facebook and/or Instagram) you probably noticed a few continuity errors. I'll confirm the ages of the Abrahamsons in HB's current time line. Glenn is 40, Maria is 39, Mia is 16, Terrence is 14, Kratz is 10, and Winston is an infant. I hope y'all enjoyed the story and have a wonderful rest of your day and/or night!
