Chapter 01: Meet the new student
It started as any other school night in Bora Elementary. Cula was shooting spitballs at Kebi, Kebi gets annoyed, KongKong was keeping a look out, Zizi was admiring Cula which makes him feel uncomfortable, and Frankie was eating a apple. Then KongKong alerted his classmates that their teacher is coming. "He's on his way." He returned to his seat next to Cula.
Everyone stopped what they were doing and began to act like well behave students when Mr. Reaper entered the classroom. "Good Evening, Students." He greeted.
"Good Evening, Mr. Reaper." They returned the greeting.
"Tonight we have a new student." Mr. Reaper announced.
The students talked among themselves about this news. "Alright settled, down." Reaper instructed. "Now I understand that you are not used to have someone else other than each other before, but let me assure you that there is nothing to worry about. I found this young one while I was on one of my patrol rounds. It was quivering with fear when it was hiding the sewers."
"Great, I betcha this new kid probably smelled worst than Zizi for hiding the sewers." Cula side whispered to KongKong, hoping that Mr. Reaper didn't hear him. KongKong just snickered a bit.
"So after I it cleaned up a bit." He gave a stern glare at Cula which got the young vampire to sit up straight and pay attention. "I decided to let it stay with us and attend class here." Then Mr. Reaper turned to the doorway. "It's alright, you can come in now."
Just now a small green blob crawled into the classroom. The other Spookiz were a bit surprised by their new classmate. "This is Goo, and Goo will be living with us for now on. Say hello, Goo."
Goo jiggled and made wobbly sounds.
The students just assumed that it's Goo's way of saying Hello. Mr Reaper continue on. "As you can see, Goo is a Blob creature, and like most blob creatures it doesn't have a gender. However Goo likes wild flowers and glitter, so lets all believe that Goo has a bit of a feminine side."
Zizi was happy to hear something like that. Maybe she can invite Goo to one of her tea parties.
"Goo, why don't you take a seat over there." Mr. Reaper pointed at a vacant seat next to Frankie.
Goo did as Reaper Sam told and went over to Frankie. When Goo sit next to Frankie and smiled at him, but when Frankie saw Goo, he thought that Goo was some kind of green candy and tries to eat it.
Luckily the other Spookiz managed to stop him before he can devour their new friend. "No Frankie! No! Goo is a friend! Not Food!" Kebi disciplined the big blue Frankenstein like monster as he and the other boys tried to restrained him.
Zizi did her best to comfort Goo down as it shook with fear.
Frankie sees that Kebi was right and now feels bad for trying to eat Goo. He grabs one of his apples and offers it to Goo to show it that he means no harm.
Goo carefully sniffed the apple and just grabbed with it's mouth, but still a bit afraid of Frankie.
"Um Mr. Reaper, maybe it would be a good idea if Goo sits somewhere else." Cula suggested.
"Perhaps you are right, Cula. Kebi, you sit next to Frankie, and Zizi, let Goo sit next to you."
"Yes Sir." Kebi and Zizi replied to Reaper and Kebi sat next to Frankie as Zizi escorted Goo to their desk.
"Now that introduction are done, perhaps we should get to tonight's lesson" Mr. Reaper started writing the pedagogy on the blackboard.
"Nice going, Frankie. Now Goo maybe too afraid to go even near you." Kebi was just upset because he's usually sits next to Zizi, which was the highlight of his night, but Frankie knows he was right, he frightened poor Goo. Frankie sees Zizi patted Goo on the back as Goo tries to eat the apple he gave it. Now Frankie is determined to make this up to Goo.
A/N: Well that was an exciting way to start a school night. How will Frankie becomes friend with Goo? Will get over it's fear of the big blue guy? Guess we'll have to wait in the next chapter.
