Within the early morning, the sound of a speaker could be heard being turned on as it would play the song "Mr. Blue Sky" on the radio as the sight of Yuuya was seen sitting on a chair outside of the balcony of an apartment room in a tall building. As Yuuya was singing along to the song, he was having a cup of coffee while reading his book as he would then close the book and would get up from his seat and enter the apartment as he saw the sight of a long silver and white haired girl with a shirt that had a carrot on it as the girl was none other than Usada Pekora.

Yuuya: Good morning~
Pekora: Mm..
Yuuya: Oh? I take it that you're not a morning person, eh?
Pekora: No, I'm not. *She said as she would brush her teeth while holding onto a mug with water*
Yuuya: So what do you want for breakfast?
Pekora: I-I don't know...Anything is fine, Peko.
Yuuya: Then let me surprise you and Miko then. *He would snap his fingers as multiple plates of meals would appear on the dining table*
Pekora: Mm..-?! M-Miko?! Sakura Miko?!
Yuuya: Yeah, who else would I be talking about?
Pekora: W-Where and how did you even find her?!
Yuuya: I found her last night in the city while she was singing to the boat song from Ark.
Pekora: W-What? W-What the hell was she doing?
Yuuya: She stole a bike and went for a ride then got lost.
Pekora: S-Sounds like her then, but it's almost time for breakfast, Peko.
Yuuya: I got it. *He snapped his fingers as Okayu fell onto the boy's arms as he carried her* Oh.
Okayu: Eh? Good morning~
Yuuya: Wrong girl.
Okayu: Huh? Wa- *She got teleported back into her own home as another girl got teleported into his arms as it was Korone. The brown haired girl's tail was in between her legs as she glared at Yuuya*
Korone: W-What do you think you're doing?
Yuuya: My mistake, I'm sorry but I'd just like to say that you look cute today.
Korone: Wha-?! Eh?! *She blushed in shocked as she got teleported back into her home as she fell down onto her bed in mid-air as she pouted and hugged her pillow tightly* Hmph!
As the boy snapped his fingers twice, two girls were warped into the apartment as the two girls were Mio and Miko as Miko was still asleep while Mio was in her usual attire and was looking around with a confused look.
Mio: W-What happened?
Yuuya: Hi.
Mio: Ah, Yuu-chan. W-Where am I?
Yuuya: Pekora's house.
Pekora: Yopeko~ *She waved her hand from the bathroom as she was washing her face*
Mio: Then what about Miko-chan?
Yuuya: I told her last night we'd be having breakfast at Pekora's place.
Mio: Eh? And you're alright with it, Pekora-chan?
Pekora: Does it really matter anymore? *She asked as she pointed outside as the sight of a destroyed city was right in front of her view*
Mio: G-Good point.
Yuuya: Oh right! Before I forget. *He snapped his fingers as Rushia was then teleport on top of Miko as the girl who was asleep would then wake up*
Miko: Brugh! O-Ouch…
Yuuya: Good morning~
Miko: M-Mmm..
Rushia: Yuuya-kun~! *She would get off of Miko and would then hug the boy tightly as Mio watched the two and smiled at the sight*
Pekora: Why are you inviting so many people over to my place, Peko?!
Yuuya: Don't worry about it, you're not the one who's making breakfast.
Pekora: F-Fair enough..
Moments later, the sight of Rushia, Pekora, Miko and Mio were seen having breakfast together in the dining room while Yuuya was sitting on the couch that is next to the dining room as he was reading his book. Rushia would look over to the young boy as she was eating her meal.
Russia: Yuuya-kun, aren't you hungry?
Yuuya: Nope. I am an immortal, I do not die if I don't sleep, eat or even drink. My digestive system doesn't exactly work like how it used to.
Pekora: That's kinda scary, peko.
Miko: This is good! Where did you get these?
Yuuya: I spawned them from the portal. It's been awhile since you girls had any proper meals after all.
Mio: You're so sweet~
Yuuya: Not at all. Later on, I gotta treat the others some sweets.
Miko: And we don't get any?!
Yuuya: You got a full-course breakfast meal, they're just getting cake and chocolate.
Miko: I wanted cake too!
Yuuya: You should've said so, I'm no mind-reader.
Miko: I guess that's-Wait a minute! You have psychic powers! You CAN read minds!
Yuuya: Can I really read minds? *He looked at her with a poker face as the girl began to question herself* There you go. *He said as he would then snap his fingers as a slice of cheesecake on a plate would appear in front of Miko*
Pekora: So what are you going to do later, peko?
Yuuya: This. *His eyes glowed as he stared at Pekora. Both of their eyes glowed for a moment as Yuuya closed his book and would walk over to Pekora as he'd then hug the girl from behind and lightly poke her cheek and breathed into her ear softly* Hey, Onee-chan. If there's anything, I'll go and get it for you, okay~? I'll be sure to protect you, Onee-chan~ *As he whispered those words into the girl's ear softly, he would walk back to the couch and open up his book and act like as if nothing happened as his eyes reverted back to normal as Pekora would scream in panic and cover her face as she blushed madly out of embarrassment as the other three girls would look at her with confusion*
Mio: W-What happened?
Rushia: Pekora-chan?!
Miko: She just lost it! Haha! *Yuuya would then turn and look at Miko as his eyes glowed for a second and would then turn back to his book again as Miko dropped her spoon and covered her face as her cheeks and ears were completely red and that she was screaming in her hands* Ahhhh!
Mio: Eh?! M-Miko-chan?!
Rushia: W-What's going on?
Yuuya: Nijisanji, huh? *He asked himself and would look out at the window as his eyes glowed bright pink and he saw the sight of multiple virtual-tuber couples around the beach as they were hanging around Marine's ship* I guess they're fine.
Moments later after the group had their breakfast, Yuuya along with the others would head back to the hideout and as they were walking through the city streets, the sight of hundreds to thousands of block-like individuals that resembled the character known as "Steve" from the Minecraft universe was seen repairing and reconstructing the entire city around them. As they arrived at the hideout, the sight of Fubuki was seen at the entrance of the inner pipelines as she seemed to be waiting for Yuuya and his group.
Mio: Fubuki-chan?
The white haired fox-girl would draw out her katana as the blade would glow bright green and blue and she would then made a powerful energy slash towards Yuuya as Rushia along with Mio would then stand in front of the boy, Rushia would then create a shield made out of her mana that were creating butterflies while Mio made a large red flame shield and took the powerful impact from Fubuki's attack.
Rushia: What was that for?!
Mio: Fubuki-chan! What do you think you're doing?!
Fubuki: Get out of the way- *As she shouted, she would then collapse onto the ground and faint as Mio and the others would panic as they turned and looked back and noticed Yuuya's eyes were glowing bright purple as he had a light smile on his face and would walk towards the fox girl and telepathically lift her up to Choco's office*
Rushia: Eh?!
Mio: Wha-?! Y-Yuu-chan! What did you do?
Yuuya: Just the usual.
Moments later as Yuuya was seen in Choco's office, the boy was seen lying on the couch as he had his head on Mio's lap as he also had his eyes closed and it seemed like he was asleep. Fubuki had woken up as she got up from the bed and looked around as Choco would then look at her with a worried look on her face.
Choco: F-Fubuki-san?
Fubuki: Where is he?
Choco: He's trying to sleep, please don't bother him.
Fubuki: No promises. *The girl said as she got off of the bed and would walk over to Mio and Yuuya as the wolf-girl got worried and would hold onto Yuuya's hand as Fubuki would stare down at the boy*
Yuuya: Something wrong, Onee-chan?
Mio: L-Let him sleep, Fubuki-chan.
Fubuki: Not after I'm done with this. *She said as she would then grab onto the boy and stare into his eyes as he stared back into his eyes as she would then hug the boy tightly and rubbed her face on his head as everyone in the room saw what Fubuki did and were surprised by the sight*
Mio: Fubuki-chan?!
Choco: Eh?!
Marine would enter the room while holding onto a container of ice cream as she was eating out of it, as she noticed Fubuki hugging Yuuya, she choked on her ice cream and began coughing hysterically.
Marine: Ahhh! What are you doing to him?!
Fubuki: I'm giving him a hug~ *She said with a soft smile and a cute tone on her voice as she would tap her nose on the boy's as the girl had a light blush but a big smile on her face while Yuuya had a tired expression on his face but accepted her*
Mio: S-Stop it! He's tired!
Fubuki: Don't worry! I can take care of him!
Mio: You're not Fubutaka anymore! You're Fubuki-chan!
Yuuya: Oh, then how about I do this then? *He said as he would then grow out wolf-like ears on his head and had a long fluffy tail that resembled his hair. After the transformation, all four girls that were in the room all screamed and squealed loudly at the sight of Yuuya's beast-look he had. Choco would grab the boy and embraced him as she stuffed his face onto her chest*
Choco: Oh my, you're so cute~ I could just eat you up right now.
Yuuya: I taste like xerox paper, don't even try it.
Marine: Hnnnggg! I could just-Ahhh! *She screamed and grabbed Yuuya as she snuggled the boy*
Yuuya: Please control your hormones..
Fubuki: *She would then pull Yuuya away from Marine as she would then hug the boy and gave him a light kiss on the nose as she blushed and smiled at him innocently* I like you a lot~! Hehe~
Yuuya would then blush slightly after Fubuki's little kiss as he would then teleport to the door and head outside as the girls would then follow him out but as soon as they left the room, they noticed that he was nowhere to be seen. Outside of the hideout, the sight of Korone was seen sitting on a bench as Yuuya would then teleport to her and sit beside her.
Yuuya: Hello.
Korone: You too.
Yuuya: How's your day so far?
Korone: The same. Absolutely nothing to do.. What about you?
Yuuya: Me? The usual. I just wish that this could just...Go away..
Korone: Go away? *She turned to look at the boy and noticed that he had a saddened look on his face as she then felt somewhat heartbroken at the sight*
Yuuya: Your friends are all such nice people. I can never hope to have friends that care for me like I'm part of their family. I almost feel a little envious that I don't have such hope.
Korone: Oh right...You're an immortal, huh? You lose more than you gain.
Yuuya: Mmhmm. Anyway, I know that this might sound selfish from my end but I'd just like to say that I'm sorry.
Korone: For what?
Yuuya: For not helping you and your friends sooner when the Evas came and attacked.
Korone: *She'd then smile softly and pat the boy's head and lightly rub the animal-like ears on his head* You worry too much.
Yuuya: Eh? I thought you hated me?
Korone: No, I didn't. I was just a little...Upset, you know?
Yuuya: I'm sorry..
Korone: Don't feel sorry or I'll feel sorry too.
Yuuya: Then how about we make up and try to get to know each other a little more then?
Korone: I...I'd like that. *She said with a soft smile on her face as she then looked to Yuuya's side and noticed that Mio was running towards the two- Mio-chan?
Yuuya: Eh? *As he looked to the other side, Mio would then run towards him and hugged him tightly in her arms as the boy's eyes widened in shock*
Mio: Yuu-chan, are you okay? You just left us out of nowhere! Did Fubuki-chan or any one of us make you angry? If so, I'm so sorry.
Yuuya: *The boy would slowly shake his head on Mio's stomach as he would get up and hugged her innocently as both Korone and Mio blushed at the sight of how innocent Yuuya was acting as he would then speak up to the wolf-girl* No, just….Thank you. All of you. *The boy was tearing up quietly and softly on Mio's stomach as he hugged her even more tightly as Mio would smile sweetly and gently stroke his hair*
From the tower of the hideout, Okayu was seen sitting on top of the tower with Coco as the cat-girl was watching Yuuya and the other two from afar and was curious on what they were doing.

Yuuya's absolute curse that troubles him the most is not being able to die with the person he loves or be with his family due to his responsibilities. Not being able to seek out love and care while enduring the duty of having to protect the thousands of universes.
