"Sasuke Uchiha will be disqualified."
The crowd did not take too kindly to Genma's announcement as they began to boo once again. People traveled a long way to see Sasuke fight. It's understandable why they are upset. Some thought about leaving the stadium since Sasuke isn't going to fight now.
"Huh so jiji really did disqualify him." Naruto said out loud.
Before anymore could be said, leaves began to fly around the stadium. A second later, much like Naruto's entrance. Leaves swirled in a whirlwind in the middle of the field. When it died down, Kakashi and Sasuke could be seen on the field.
"Sorry we're late, you wouldn't believe what happened." Kakashi said with his usual eye smile.
"Kakashi-sensei.." Sakura facepalmed herself.
"So the Uchiha showed up like I knew he would. Too bad he was too late, now I have to kill his teammate." Gaara voiced to himself in a cold tone.
Kankuro did not like the sound of that.
"So he's not disqualified is he?" Kakashi hoped not.
"Sorry, I'm afraid he is. We had to push back his match twice. Honestly we just finished waiting 30 minutes for you to show up. Hokage-sama told me to announce that your student is disqualified. And I literally just finished telling the audience that not even 30 seconds before you showed up." Genma told Kakashi.
"What!" Sasuke shouted.
"Oh..looks like we were a tad bit too late." Kakashi sheepishly said.
Sasuke was pissed, this is all Kakashi's fault. He told the man that they needed to hurry up. But he insisted everything would work out.
"Yeah so if you wouldn't mind we need to start the next match." Genma said.
"Alright but who is fighting next?" Kakashi wondered.
"Gaara of the Sand and Naruto Uzumaki, please come down to the field for your match." Genma announced out loud.
"Wait Naruto really won?" Kakashi asked in a surprised tone.
Genma nodded. "Yeah he completely dominated his opponent. I've never seen anybody handle fighting a Hyuga the way that he did. Whoever trained him, did a hell of a job doing so."
"Really now." Kakashi wondered just who trained Naruto.
"So the dobe did win after all." Sasuke grumbled.
Kakashi could see that Sasuke is not happy in the slightest about that.
"NARUTO-SAMA!" His fan club cheered when they saw Naruto arriving on the field.
Sasuke and Kakashi nearly jumped in surprise hearing those loud voices. They turned around and became even more shocked when they saw Naruto's fan club.
"Uhh Genma...who are they?" Kakashi pointed towards the group of beautiful women in the stands.
"Apparently Naruto has a fan club. Probably the biggest fan club I've seen yet. You should've been here for his first match. They were going wild over him. As a fellow womanizer, Naruto has my ultimate respect." Genma informed Kakashi.
Before Kakashi or Sasuke could ask what he meant by that. Naruto spoke up first.
"You have my respect as well Genma-san."
Kakashi and Sasuke looked to see Naruto had come down to the field. They were shocked to see how much he's changed over the month. He's not even wearing his orange jumpsuit anymore!
"N-Naruto? Is that you?" Kakashi stuttered.
"Of course it's me sensei, who else has this shade of blond hair that only the Fourth Hokage had?" Naruto smirked. "By the way, I know everything now. Even who my parents are."
Kakashi's eyes widened while Sasuke looked at Naruto in confusion.
"...Naruto I-" The silver haired jounin was cut off by his blond student.
"You're fine sensei, I'm not mad at you. Although I'm kinda pissed how you left me with Ebisu of all people to train me. And your neglect in training me and Sakura properly. But that's not important, we can talk about everything another day. Now is not the time. Honestly I'm actually glad you got Sasuke disqualified. Not to say Sasuke isn't strong, but I don't think he's ready to handle an unstable jinchuuriki." Naruto said.
If Kakashi's eye could widen further, it definitely would. "Wait you mean Gaara is..?"
"Yes, he's the Ichibi jinchuuriki. There's a lot going on Kakashi-sensei. It's too dangerous to ask the old man right now. So I would go ask the other jounins. They'll fill you in." Naruto answered him.
Kakashi stared at Naruto for a moment, he could see his sensei in place of Naruto. When Kakashi looked over towards Genma. The brunet nodded, letting him know that Naruto is right. Looking back at his student. "Alright Naruto, you seem a lot more calmer than the last time I saw you. I look forward to seeing just how much you improved.
Naruto grinned. "I had a lot of help during this month. You wouldn't believe how much my life has changed. Oh and I'm not the only one who has been training. Sakura is a medic in training now. She's very talented in it. We study medical ninjutsu together."
This information really surprised Sasuke and Kakashi.
"Kakashi, I need you and your student to leave. We need to start the next match." Genma told the jounin.
Kakashi nodded. "Come on Sasuke."
Sasuke begrudgingly nodded. He looked over at his teammate. Even he could tell that Naruto is a lot different than before. Sasuke could see it in his arm muscles and stance. He smirked. "You better not lose dobe. Especially if you don't think I can handle this guy on my own."
Naruto returned his smirk. "You got it teme, I planned on winning the whole exams."
Sasuke nodded and Kakashi used shunshin to get him and Sasuke out of the field. They appeared in the stands.
"So that's Sasuke?" Maki pointed.
"Guess so, he doesn't seem all that to me." Ayane shrugged.
"That's because you're too used to being around Naruto-sama." Sasume voiced.
"Not even, I just don't think he's worth the hype." Ayane replied.
"That may be, but he's still a talented kid. Enough about him though, I can't wait to see how Naruto-sama handles Gaara." Kiroku said.
Her surrogate sisters nodded in agreement.
Kakashi was getting berated by his fellow jounin instructors for getting his student disqualified. Sasuke sat by the other rookies.
"Sasuke-kun!" Ino greeted him.
Sasuke sighed, he really didn't want to deal with Ino.
"Hn."
"Typical Uchiha response." Kiba said under his breath.
Choji just kept eating his chips.
Ino grinned then she smirked in Sakura's direction. Although she was surprised that Sakura hasn't said a word to Sasuke yet. Ino was determined to call Sakura out on her bluff about giving up on going after Sasuke for Naruto. There is just no way that Sakura could truly give up on Sasuke.
"Since you moved on, you don't mind if I have Sasuke-kun all to myself now forehead?" Ino asked the pinkette.
Sasuke sighed, he knew what this was going to turn into.
"Go for it, I doubt you'll get anywhere with him." Sakura replied in a nonchalant tone.
Sasuke is surprised by Sakura's response. So is Kakashi. Ino cursed mentally.
"So you're really done chasing after Sasuke-kun forehead? Ha get real! You're too hung up on him to give up." Ino pointed at the pinkette.
Hinata could tell her that her best friend was becoming annoyed with Ino. The blunette hoped that she wouldn't have to hold back Sakura from beating the hell out of Ino. Something that she was very capable of doing with ease now.
"Yes Ino, I'm done chasing after Sasuke. I used to be hung up on him. But that's not the case anymore." Sakura answered with a small frown.
"Liar! There's no way that a loser like Naruto could ever compare to Sasuke-kun! So just stop acting Sakura!" Ino shouted.
Suddenly she was yanked up from her seat so fast. Ino realized that Sakura grabbed her by the collar of her shirt. She could see the anger in the pinkette's emerald eyes.
"Listen here you little bitch! I told you once already that I'm done chasing after Sasuke! Do not ask me again! Just because you cannot get over your delusions, doesn't mean that I can't! My world doesn't revolve around Sasuke! So stop acting like it does. Also don't you ever disrespect my Naruto-kun again! The next time you do, this is what I'm going to do to your fucking head! Shannarooo!" Sakura yelled in anger as she swung her free fist into a stone pillar.
The pillar couldn't handle her immense strength, so it instantly crumbled to many pieces. Shocking everyone around who were watching the argument between Ino and Sakura. Good thing none of the broken up stone landed on anyone.
Ino is shaking in fear. She had no idea that Sakura could do that.
"Now don't ask me shit about Sasuke again and don't let me hear you badmouth mine and Hinata's boyfriend again. Got it Ino-pig?" Sakura asked with a smirk on her face.
Ino nodded her head really fast.
"Good." Sakura let her drop back down to her seat. "Who knows, maybe you'll be changing your tune if you ever get a chance to have sex with Naruto." She went to sit back down on her seat. Hinata wrapped her arm around the pinkette and Sakura learned her head on her best friend's shoulder.
While Sasuke was happy that Sakura no longer liked him romantically. He was scared as hell of her now. Especially if that's how she really is now when she's angry. The Uchiha did not want to be on the receiving end of her newly found immense strength.
Kakashi is stunned by what he just witnessed. "S-She has strength similar to Tsunade-sama…"
"Such youth in the younger generation." Gai commented, he was very impressed by Sakura's physical strength.
"You have some talented students Kakashi." Asuma said.
"Too bad he barely trained them." Anko voiced with Kurenai nodding in agreement.
Kakashi sighed. He knew he fucked up.
'Sakura-chan sure has come a long way. I bet you she blew Kakashi's mind with that stunt.' Kushina said.
'He's probably wondering where did she learn it from. I wish I could see the look on his face. Especially once he sees how much you've improved Naruto-kun.' Kura voiced to her lover. She was hoping that she would get to fight her brother Shukaku at some point today.
'Somebody likely pissed her off, good thing Hina-chan is there to calm her down if she gets out on hand.' Naruto replied before focusing on Gaara.
Temari kissed him before he came down to the field. Even though she knows Naruto is ridiculously strong. She is still worried about him coming out alive against Gaara. Naruto understood her fears. However Temari said that she believed that Naruto would win in the end. She would be rooting for him all the way. Naruto appreciated her support and kissed her one last time before he left. Honestly he wished he could take Temari somewhere to fuck her again like he did this morning. Now the sandy blond was ready to take action once the signal for the invasion was given.
Genma looked at Naruto and Gaara. He knew this battle would turn out big. "Hajime!" Genma jumped back to a safe distance.
Everyone was watching in anticipation as the match finally started.
Naruto and Gaara were staring at each other. The redhead had a smirk on his face while Naruto gave him a blank expression. If you had asked him a few days ago if Neji was his true opponent, he would've said yes. Ever since Temari informed him of the invasion. His real opponent became Gaara. After all, Gaara is the biggest threat to Konoha at the moment.
Gaara felt pain in his head. He could hear Shukaku yelling at him to kill his opponent. Shukaku wanted to see blood. Grabbing his head in slight pain, Gaara started to grin like a psychopath.
"Please don't get so angry...mother.." Gaara said while still looking at Naruto.
'What the fuck? Did he just call Shukaku his mother?' Naruto wondered, his eyes were narrowed even more.
Kura sighed. 'Really Shukaku? You've gone that far with manipulating the kid?'
'You're brother is a...unique one.' Is all that Kushina could say.
"Earlier I know that the blood I gave you didn't satisfy you..I'm so sorry..but this time..I'll make sure it tastes very good…" Gaara said in a low tone with a crazed look in his eye.
"His conservation has started already, this is dangerous. Your boyfriend won't make it out alive Temari." Kankuro told his older sister.
"Shut up Kankuro, while I'll admit I've never seen Gaara this way before a fight before. Naruto-kun will win, you don't know how strong he really is." Temari smirked.
"...you do know that we need Gaara to win right?" Kankuro asked.
"Oh my poor little brother, if only you knew what was really going on. I'll tell you everything in a minute, for now just watch the match." Temari said.
Now Kankuro is even more confused. If he didn't know any better. He would think that Temari was referring to the invasion. But there is no way that Temari would betray Suna...right?
Gaara finally calmed himself down. For some reason, Shukaku is craving more for Naruto's blood than Sasuke's. "What are you waiting for?"
"For you to stop acting like a lunatic. Come on we're both jinchuuriki, you're giving us a bad name. Trust me, we don't need anymore of a bad wrap than what we already have." Naruto retorted.
The redhead's eyes widened slightly in surprise. "You have a demon inside of you too?"
Naruto nodded. "Yep I'm the jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi."
"Jinchuuriki? What's that?" Kiba questioned out loud.
Before any of the jounin could answer. Hinata did.
"A jinchuuriki is a human sacrifice, they have what are known as tailed beasts sealed inside of them. Long ago, the Sage of Six Paths Hagoromo Otsutsuki fought against a beast known as the Ten-Tails. He defeated it by sealing it inside of himself. Decades later because he knew that his health was deteriorating. The Sage separated the ten tails' chakra into nine different living entities. Originally the tailed beasts were supposed to not only prevent the resurrection of the ten-tails. But to also maintain and balance peace. The first hokage did something similar by using his Mokuton to capture the tailed beasts and gave them to the other villages who were new at the time. He did this in order to stabilize the balance of power between the shinobi world. However, his methods were very forceful. Instead of asking for the tailed beasts cooperation. He just took them against their will. Over the centuries, humanity has treated them as if they were all mindless beasts, monsters or demons to be feared. When in actuality all of the nine tailed beasts are intelligent beings. They began to hate humans over time because of the treatment they received. And I'm afraid the first hokage made that worse with his decision to take them by force. They are now used as weapons of war. Which is why they are sealed into their jinchuurikis. So the jinchuuriki can be used as a weapon of protection for their respective villages because of the power at their disposal. Tailed beasts are known to be extremely powerful. Sadly, humanity treats jinchuurikis the same way as they treat tailed beasts. Most jinchuurikis are hated by their village. The only one to my knowledge who is treated as a hero is Killer B, the Hachibi jinchuuriki of Kumogakure. By the way, the Kyuubi is a woman." Hinata explained in great detail.
The jounin were shocked by her in depth knowledge of the subject. They didn't expect anyone of them younger generation to know that much about the tailed beasts and jinchuurikis. She knew more about the subject than either of them!
So did Sakura, she nodded in approval of Hinata's explanation.
"So what, Naruto is a demon?" Kiba stupidly voiced.
Nobody even got a chance to berate Kiba for his foolish words as Hinata and Sakura already made their move. Hinata had her palm right on Kiba's chest. Ready to gentle fist his heart out of his chest. Sakura was behind Kiba, the pinkette was aiming her chakra scalpel right at the Inuzuka's neck.
"If you ever say that about Naruto-kun again…"Hinata trailed off in a cold voice.
"Then you're dead, simple as that. So choose your words wisely Kiba." Sakura warned him with a steel edge to her tone that made everyone who heard her shudder.
Kiba was sweating bullets, he was so scared that he was close to pissing himself. "H-Hai.." He responded.
"Good, cause we're only going to say this once." Hinata slapped her teammate across his face before her and Sakura returned to their seats.
Anko whistled. "Damn he's got them trained."
"Now Anko you know Naruto-kun isn't like that. That's just because Hinata and Sakura are very protective over him. Honestly even I had to hold myself back from placing Kiba in one of my genjutsus." Kurenai said.
"Kami what all did I miss in just a month?" Kakashi wondered.
"A lot, your student even bagged Kurenai and Anko." Asuma told him.
Kakashi never felt more proud of Naruto than he did now. "Well I'll be damned."
"I said the same thing man." Asuma sighed.
'Better Naruto than me, he can have my entire former fan club for all that I care. Maybe I should thank him for getting Sakura off of my back. At this rate, I will probably convince him to take Ino as well.' Sasuke thought to himself.
"I see, then you're like me. I can see it in your eyes now. The pain and suffering that this village has caused you. But something is different about your eyes. Tell me, what's the purpose of your existence?" Gaara wondered.
"To protect my loved ones." Naruto stated with conviction.
"Protect? Why would you exist for a weak purpose like that? My purpose is to kill. To kill those who threaten to erase my existence." Gaara said.
"Basically you only live for yourself. I was almost like that once. I hated everybody who hated me. Everyone who either treated me like shit or hurt me physically and mentally. But I found a different way to live my life. To live to protect those precious to me. You can't become strong if you don't have anything to protect Gaara. Killing for yourself isn't the way to live. What you need is a friend. A friend to show you the way. A friend who can truly understand where you're coming from. I'm going to do just that. So get ready to get your attitude adjusted." Naruto smirked.
Gaara chuckled in a dark way. "Interesting...you're interesting Naruto Uzumaki! Killing you will no doubt prove my existence! Come Uzumaki!"
"Poor kid has no idea what's he asking for does he?" Sasume asked Kiroku.
"Nope, kick his ass Naruto-sama!" Kiroku cheered loudly for her man.
'You heard her Naruto-kun, lay it on him!' Kushina yelled.
'His sand shield is useless against you. But still be careful, there's no telling when he will lose control.' Kura said.
'Right.' Naruto replied before he dashed at blurring speeds.
Gaara's sand shield couldn't act in time to protect Gaara from Naruto's right hook that landed on the redhead's face. Sending him skidding against the ground.
'He's way faster than before! Faster than what Sasuke is now at his max speed!' Kakashi thought to himself in shock.
Gaara slowly stood up while glaring at his opponent. 'He's fast like that last guy..' He sent a wave of sand towards the blond.
Of course Naruto avoided the sand by running away from it. Unfortunately for Gaara, he was hit again. This time it was from one of Naruto's clones. It kicked Gaara from behind.
The redhead growled, he realized that just like with Lee. His sand shield wouldn't be able to keep up with Naruto's speed. And so far his sand attacks are also too slow to keep up. There's no telling if his opponent will make another clone to strike him again either.
So he made a hand seal to surround himself in sand. Naruto watched the sand completely surround Gaara in a dome made of sand. In the air, an eye made out of sand formed.
"Already? What is Gaara thinking?" Kankuro wondered in a low tone.
Temari also is wondering the same thing. Gaara isn't supposed to transform this early.
'Gaara you little fool what are you doing?!' Baki shouted inside of his head.
'Hmmm I wonder if he's planning on transforming, I think I will hold off the invasion for now until he truly releases Shukaku.' Orochimaru thought to himself.
Naruto threw several kunai at the dome. But they were blocked by large sand spikes that formed from the dome of sand. He jumped in the air to throw shuriken at it from a different angle. However the result was the same as before.
'Ok so the sand is still acting as an automatic defense and that eye of his in the air is probably allowing him to see from outside of the dome. My question is, what is the point in surrounding hims…' Naruto trailed off his thought process as he felt a massive surge of chakra coming from Gaara. 'Aw fuck.' The blond cursed.
'Aw fuck is right, he's gathering bijuu chakra! Is he going to transform now? The match just started.' Kushina said.
'Probably partially, this isn't enough chakra to summon Shukaku's true form. Be ready Naruto-kun, your true battle begins now. Don't hesitate to call on my chakra if need be.' Kura told her lover.
'Alright but I really shouldn't need to right now. I'm not a ninjutsu powerhouse just for the hell of it dattebayo. One rasenshuriken will put him down.' Naruto replied.
'Umm remember Naruto-kun, we don't want to kill Gaara or several damage his chakra network. Please don't use that unless he brings out Shukaku himself.' Kushina reminded him.
'I know kaa-chan, don't worry.' Naruto said.
'So what are you going to do? Just let him transform?' Kura wondered.
'Unfortunately yes, I don't have much of a choice. Considering even if I do wind up stopping him from doing so now. He still won't change his ways. Not until he sees that even at his full power. He still can't beat me. Gaara needs to understand that fighting for yourself doesn't make you strong. The only way he'll see that is if he gets his ass kicked while using his full power.'
Kushina sighed. 'Thank kami that I taught you high level Uzumaki barriers and sealing barrier ninjutsus. This way even if he releases Shukaku, he can't escape as long as he doesn't use a tailed beast bomb.'
'Tell me about it. Though this is a perfect opportunity to cement my position in Konoha. With all the support I've been racking up from the female population of Konoha. Once I show just how powerful I am, they won't have a choice but to respect me here. Possibly in other nations as well.' Naruto said.
Kushina and Kura looked at each other, smirked then nodded.
'Show those fools your power, Naruto-koi~.' Both of them said to the blond at the same time.
Naruto smirked as just as they said that, the sand dome around Gaara started to fall apart. Revealing a partially transformed Gaara. Nearly his entire body was covered in sand except for most of his legs. A tail made of sand on his backside. Yellow irises with pupils that are the shape of a four-pointed star with four black dots around it, as well as black sclerae. Blue cursed seal markings all across the body. Jagged, concave mouth with sharp fangs.
All in all, Gaara resembled a mini tanuki, a mini Shukaku.
People in the stands were freaking out by how scary he looked right now.
"What the hell is that?!" Kiba yelled in shock and fear. Akamaru was shaking in his lap.
"That is a jinchuuriki using the partial transformation." Sakura answered.
Gazing over to Hinata, the pinkette could see the worry in her eyes. Sakura couldn't blame her since she was worried for Naruto too. Sure they knew he was ridiculously stronger now. However they still can't help but worry about him.
"Umm is that even allowed?!" Ino screamed while pointed down at the field.
Choji even stopped eating.
Sasuke could see why Naruto told Kakashi it was a good thing that he had been disqualified. He's not exactly confident in his chances of going up against Gaara when he's in this state. Especially when his limit with the chidori is two times max.
"Well this isn't a good sign." Anko commented.
"No it's not, I hope Naruto knows what he's doing." Kurenai frowned in worry for the blond.
"Shit." Asuma cursed.
"Gai, I think we should act before it gets out of hand." Kakashi told his rival.
"As much as I want to agree with you, Kakashi. According to the orders of Hokage-sama, no shinobi is to interfere if Naruto ended up facing Gaara in battle. No matter what under no circumstances." Gai voiced in a serious tone.
Kakashi's visible eye widened in shock. "What? Why would he give such an order?"
"Your student asked him to make it this way. Truthfully we would only be getting in his way by trying to help him." Asuma answered this time.
"So what, we're to be on standby until the invasion starts?" Kakashi did not like the idea of leaving his student alone out there like that.
"Pretty much, don't worry though, Naruto's got this." Anko confidently stated.
'I wish I could have your confidence in him Anko.' Kakashi felt ashamed of himself.
"Shit what do we do now?! Where's the signal?" Kankuro whispered to his sister.
"Just relax Kankuro, I don't know why Gaara transformed this early or why the signal is delayed. All we can do is keep watching until something happens." Temari responded to him.
"Troublesome, what the hell is that?" Shikamaru asked himself.
Shino stayed quiet while observing. His bugs were telling him of the danger the mini tanuki presented.
'Hmmm what are you up to Orochimaru?' Hiruzen glanced at the 'Kazekage'.
'Now let's see if there's more worth to you than I originally thought Naruto. I may make a move on you depending on how much you keep impressing me.' Orochimaru thought to himself. He already sent a message to Kabuto telling him to hold the signal and watch Naruto closely.
"Huh so he doesn't have a chakra cloak like Naruto-sama." Sasume was intrigued.
"Guess not, though he looks freaky with his sand shaped like that." Ayane commented.
"I wonder how he'll fare against Naruto-sama?" Maki wondered.
"Kick his ass, Naruto-sama!" Kiroku cheered loudly.
On the battlefield, Gaara began chuckling evilly. "Naruto Uzumaki...you're different from the others."
"Not the first time I heard that, definitely won't be the last." The blond kept up his smirk. "You're a fool if you think the way you are now is enough to defeat me, Gaara."
Gaara grinned maliciously before sending out bullets of sand towards the Uzumaki.
Naruto easily avoided the bullets, before spinning to the side to avoid a barrage of sand shuriken. Next he dodged a large sand hand, causing his opponent to overextend himself. All the blond did was push the arm aside and jumped away several feet.
"Wind Style: Air Bullet!" Gaara spat a large bullet of air towards Naruto.
When the attack hit, he eagerly waited for the dust to clear to see his injured opponent. Only to see nothing there when the dust did clear.
Gaara growled. "Where is he?"
"You're slow." He heard a voice come from behind him.
Turning around, Gaara saw Naruto standing over 10 feet behind him.
"Is this it? Is this the power I'm supposed to be so afraid of? You can't even land a hit on me." Naruto remarked with a smirk.
Gaara charged at the blond at blinding speeds, though Naruto easily saw his movements. While the mini tanuki is fast, especially considering all that heavy sand on his body. He's not on the same level of speed as Naruto. So Naruto stepped to the side, grabbed an arm then flipped Gaara into the air.
Landing on his feet, Gaara growled before taking a deep breath.
"Wind Style: Sandstorm Devastation." A few pairs of mouths appeared over Gaara's body as he exhaled a strong burst of wind mixed with sand that's coated with his chakra.
His attack covered a wide area of the field along with shaking the ground a bit. Some members of the audience had to cover their eyes from the sand in the air.
Sadly to Gaara's shock, when the sand in the air was gone, he saw that Naruto was still standing in the same spot. Not once did he make a move to block the attack or step away from it. He took it head on and received no damage at all whatsoever.
"How...how is it possible that you are still standing here unharmed?" Gaara asked in disbelief.
He isn't the only one who wanted to know. Nearly everyone wanted to know how the blond took that attack head on without receiving any damage, not even his clothes were scratched.
"I'm a Uzumaki who is good at fuinjutsu. An invisible barrier seal serves as a good defense for an attack like yours." Naruto answered.
'He's been learning fuinjutsu?!' Kakashi thought to himself in shock.
'He's certainly gotten better than me at fuinjutsu if he can make barrier seals like that with little effort.' Hiruzen thought proudly.
Gaara growled in frustration. "Why can't I hit you? Why aren't you fighting back? Are you scared of me Uzumaki?!"
Naruto gave him a blank look. "Scared of you? For what? I'm the jinchuuriki of the strongest bijuu while you have the weakest one. While you're already partially transformed into your bijuu. I haven't even gotten warmed up. Imagine if I used my bijuu's chakra against you, if you are already struggling against me while using your Shukaku to help you. Dude I would literally destroy you. The only reason why I haven't started attacking you yet was to see what all you can do in this form. Frankly, I'm very disappointed. You might as well bring out Shukaku at this point."
"You dare mock me Uzumaki!" Gaara roared in anger.
"No I'm just stating facts, but since you don't seem to believe it. I'm going to have to make sure you understand why you shouldn't cross me. Be prepared because you asked for it Gaara."
Reaching in his pouch, the blond took out his chakra blades. The shinobi in the audience became surprised when they witnessed the blades glow in a blue aura of sharp chakra when Naruto put them on his hands. Not just any regular chakra either, it reminded them of a certain bearded jounin.
"Hey he has the same weapons as Asuma-sensei." Choji pointed out.
'When did Naruto get so...cool...and hot?' Ino blushed at the sight of the sexy blond.
She definitely wasn't the only one, his entire fan club section was going wild over the young sexy blond.
'Wind chakra? When did he learn of his affinity? Who taught him how to use it and how did he achieve such a level of manipulation in a short amount of time?' Kakashi wondered.
"Well I'll be, seems like I'm not the only one who has wind chakra or uses chakra blades. To think that the kid got to such a level within a month too. Now that's talent, I wonder who taught him since I'm the only known wind user in Konoha?" Asuma said out loud.
"That is impressive, especially for someone that young." Kurenai commented.
Staring into his opponent's eyes, Gaara couldn't help but feel this shaky, unfamiliar feeling in his chest.
If only he knew what he is feeling is the emotion fear.
Naruto to the shock of nearly everyone in the stadium disappeared in a red flash. Appearing directly in front of the mini tanuki. Before he even realized what happened, Gaara had been slammed in the gut by Naruto's fist. A gust of sharp wind cutting through his sand.
The sand covered boy could feel a part of his true body exposed. He could tell he had been cut in that area. Sadly he did not get the chance to register that he was bleeding, because Naruto attacked him again with a right hook sending him flying.
"Tsk these aren't doing the job right now." Naruto said to himself, referring to his chakra blades.
'Then switch to lightning, use your versatility.' His beloved mother recommended.
Agreeing with her decision, he quickly put his blades away. Watching as his fellow jinchuuriki rushed at him in an attempt to slaughter him. The blond surrounded his entire body in blue lightning chakra. Bringing out his lightning cloak.
At lightning speed, Naruto dodged Gaara's rush, countering by grabbing his tail with one hand and tossing him into the air. Soaring into the sky after him, Naruto unleashed a barrage of lightning fast punches and kicks to his opponent.
It got so bad for Gaara that at one point, Naruto made a group of clones all covered in a lightning cloak. Hitting Gaara an numerous amount of times while keeping him in the air. Making the poor tanuki look like a floating bouncing ball.
His screams could be heard by everybody in the stadium.
"Uhh Temari what the hell kind of boyfriend do you have?!" Kankuro was freaking out, he's never seen anyone handle Gaara so easily before.
Temari found herself being turned on, watching her boyfriend/future husband beat the shit out of her little brother. While she is worried about Gaara, she cannot deny the fact that Naruto looks so hot right now being as dominant as he is in this fight.
'That's the same lightning cloak as the Raikage's! For him to have learned such manipulation of two elements in one month is astonishing.' Hiruzen exclaimed in his thoughts.
'Yes Naruto-kun, you are definitely becoming more interesting than your teammate. Now if you can defeat Shukaku, then I'll just set my sights on you instead. I'll have to inform my barrier team of the change in plans. Sensei can wait his turn.' Orochimaru thought.
"So he has two affinities." Gai commented in interest.
Sasuke clenched his fist. 'Two affinities just like me except he can manipulate lightning to a higher degree for a longer period of time. Just how far have you gotten ahead of me Naruto…'
"Lightning too? Hmmm there's only one person I know with a similar level of manipulation of lightning. But there's just no possible way she of all people would train Naruto. Yet I don't know who else could it possibly be. Jiraiya-sama is not a lightning type." Kakashi said to himself.
Sasume watched with a proud smirk on her face.
To finish it off, Naruto performed a lightning axe kick to Gaara's stomach. Sending the boy straight down to the ground, his body forming a crater on impact.
Gaara groaned in pain. His entire body was in more pain than he could ever remember being in. No one has ever been able to damage him so extensively in this form. Not even his father as he is the Fourth Kazekage.
He gazed up at his opponent who was coming down from the sky.
'How is he so..so strong?' Gaara wondered.
He growled in anger. "No! I will not lose! You will not cease my existence! Naruto Uzumaki!" He roared to his opponent.
Naruto watched as a huge wave of sand rose into the air. Thankfully he used his Baku technique to teleport out of the way. He appeared on the wall as Shukaku's body took up over half of the field. The blond was grateful that he told Hiruzen to increase the size of the battlefield in case this happened.
He could hear most of the audience screaming at the sight of the sand bijuu.
