Hey everybody!
Here's the 7th chapter.
It's a bit longer than usual, so hopefully you all get your fill.
I don't want to delay, so let's just jump right into it.
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto nor Majikoi
…
-Start-
...
The following school week was rather quiet and uneventful, something that Naruto greatly appreciated since he would rather avoid drawing too much attention to himself. Sadly, It was all for naught as when he would walk down the halls, people would gather and whisper, pointing fingers and saying thing like "If Momoyo-Senpai is the Goddess of Martial Arts, then Namikaze-kun must be a Demon because every God needs its Demon."
Naturally, he brushed aside those comments, his upbringing having desensitized him to such things. Still, they hit rather close to home… More than I would like…
He tried to bury it deep within himself, all the self-loathing, the negativity, his pessimistic side. He couldn't help it, that's just the way he was after all that he had endured. It may have been cowardly, to run away from his problems, yet he had no better answer.
Once, so very long ago, many considered him to be a paragon of optimism. Ayame, the daughter of the Ichiraku Ramen Stand, often described him as "A bright ball of sunshine, one that could brighten anyone's day."
It hurt to think about it. To know that he had let down so many people, failed to meet their expectations. Yet, in the back of his mind, he often wondered why people expected him to do all the work. To sacrifice his own happiness for their own.
The answer was surprisingly not all that surprising. Indeed, he was oft to ponder these questions, to lose himself in thought, and he was no idiot. During his time of reflection, near the later years of his shinobi career, he came to the realization that the world was simply rotten. People with greedy hearts, corrupted by human nature, often wanted more than what they had. Even if meant trampling on others, sowing the seeds of discord.
So, he concluded that many were already using him for their own needs, yet- he was okay with this. With light, darkness follows, the two inseparable. Who was he to look down on the very nature of humanity. Was he not also human? Did he not have his own flaws? His own talents?
It came not as a surprise nor as expected. His realization brought with him a calmness that he had never felt before. He felt at… peace, at least for awhile. Yet, like all great things, it was to never last, always to be replaced by something else.
To put it simple, his inner peace was destroyed by war.
He never knew how it started, what powder keg blew up, generating what many would come to claim as the "War to end all other Wars." That in itself was a cynical joke as war was the bread and butter of humanity, something that they excelled at. It would happen time and time again, for it was unavoidable in human nature to seek conflict.
It was a five way free-for-all.
Konoha.
Kumo.
Kiri.
Iwa.
Suna.
The five great powers of the Elemental Nations entered into the most destructive, bloodiest, and devastating war his world had ever seen. It was a brutal time to be alive…
As the Jinchuuriki of Konoha, it was once again expected of him to fulfill his duty, one that he had no choice in the matter. The Hokage had decided to set him as the primary defense of the village, to repel any and all attackers with his might, and so he did.
Time and time again, he would fight elite groups by himself, killing shinobi and kunoichi alike, ending life after life. At times, he wondered if he was doing the right thing, killing whom he considered innocent people for a cause he and those whom he'd slain, knew not. He justified it all with the simple wish to protect those whom he cherished.
His life was one soon filled with misery as he despaired, just wanting a break from all the fighting, bloodshed, and death. He was just so tired, the light leaving his eyes with each life he took...
The war, as he knew it, soon took a turn- as instead of fighting each other, the Five great powers soon united into a solidary force. The cause, one masked man with a plan. A plan that wrought more death than ever seen before, greater than even the "War to end all other Wars."
The world was thrown into chaos-
He was broken away from his rather morbid thoughts as Yamato bumped shoulders with him, giving Naruto a concerned look. He quickly waved off the other boys concern, his face settling into a nice and lazy look, neutral in nature.
The past is the past, nothing will change that. Instead of falling into the most dangerous trap called nostalgia, I should focus on what the future may hold.
Shuffling his feet, he slouched over as he stood beside his new group of friends, all watching with not so baited breath. Momoyo stood across two gentlemen, one whom was dressed in a nice business suit, the other dressed in a black tank top and camo cargo pants. They both had blond hair, a shade lighter than his own, and the fighter who was grinning smugly at Momoyo had star tattoos running up and down his arms. They rippled as he flexed his muscles, trying to intimidate Momoyo who simply gave the man an amused look.
Naruto scoffed and turned to face Yamato, a question on his lips. "Who are these posers?" As Yamato turned to answer his question, somebody else beat him to the punch.
"So, Momoyo's opponents for today are the Karakaru Brothers. I hear they're pretty famous."
As one, the Kazama family turned to face the speaker and found Tesshin standing there, stroking his beard as usual as he eyed the two foreign men.
"Oh hey," started Yamato, "It's old man Kawakami." The old man gave them a polite nod as Yamato started to explain what he knew. "From what I hear, they're a super pair that uses the elder brother Gale's superhuman strength, and the younger brother Gate's incredible 'high' intelligence. They use a computer to analyze and predict their opponent's moves."
Tesshin cracked open one eye in thought as he glanced at Naruto and Yamato. "A computer, is it?" he questioned. "Then these two must be complete amateurs."
Naruto gave a small nod to that. This guy is going to lose in an instant… While he may not have fought her using his full strength, Kawakami Momoyo was still the closest thing that he would classify as a kunoichi similar to those of his old world. You know, with all the destructiveness... Just without the stealth of one
Tesshin turned and started to walk away, giving them a backwards wave. "The more I think about it, this match is already finished. But, you'll never know for sure until it happens, I suppose."
Naruto and Yamato shared a glance as they watched the old man walk away, taking his position as the supervisor for the match.
One of the temple assistants brought a hand up to his mouth. "We'll be starting the match now." he declared before ringing the gong, indicating that the match was about to start.
"From the west side, Kawakami Momoyo." declared another temple assistant.
Momoyo gave a small smile as she stepped forward. "Yup."
The temple assistant nodded before motioning to her opponent. "From the east side, Gale Karakaru."
The Blond American ran a comb through his hair, an arrogant look on his face. "Okay!"
The two brothers then made small talk, something about predictions and counters, smug in their certain victory.
Tesshin coughed before speaking up. "Now then," he started, "Ready your stance!"
Naruto watched on with a bored look in his eyes, already knowing how this would end, as did the rest of the Kazama Family.
"Begin!"
Momoyo cocked her fist back, an aggressive look in her eyes. "Here I go!" she declared.
Gale grinned, already moving into position to counter her right hook. "I already know you'll start with a straight right. Here goes Gale Coun-"
The American was cut off as he was punched in the face, her fist digging deep into his flesh, his nose shattered. In an instant, he was blown back, colliding with a wall and making a small crater from the impact.
Naruto ignored all the useless chatter going on around him as he observed Momoyo, a slight frown on her face as she stared down at her opponent before Tesshin forced her to bow. It's lonely at the top, huh…
Kazuko pumped her fist, happy that her big sis won. "You did it again big sis! Another instant victory!"
Miyako held up a fake wrestling belt in her hand, a small smile on her face. "We might as well as call you the world champion."
Yukie kept silent as she clasped her hands together, a bright smile on her face.
Momoyo closed one eye as she gave a charming smile to her friends. "Haha, you guys are getting a bit carried away." she said, before walking away. "I'm going to hit the showers."
They watched as she took three steps before stopping, the proverbial light bulb above her head going off. She spun on her heel and started walking towards them, a mischievous yet determined grin on her face.
Naruto about groaned when she made a beeline for him. I should have seen this coming…
Momoyo, dressed up in her Gi, made for an imposing sight as she stood before him. She crossed her arms underneath her bust, making it stand out even more than before as she leered at Naruto. "Say, Namikaze-Kun…" She started, looking away with the faintest of blushes on her face. "Do you have anything planned for the rest of the day?"
Off to the side, Yamato sighed and watched on with a defeated expression on his face. I knew this was coming, just not so soon...
Behind him, Tesshin pumped a fist, discreetly of course. Yes, my matchmaking has finally borne fruit of my endeavours.
The girls of the Kazama family, those present, watched in awe as Momoyo made her move.
Naruto scratched the back of his head as he nervously chuckled, now unsure of where this was going. I had assumed that she was going to ask for a fight, but this makes it seem like she's going to ask me out. That's highly unlikely as-
He never got to finish this thought as Momoyo stepped into his personal space- as bold and daring as she was, and pressed up against him, her soft chest distracting him but for a moment. The height difference between the two was apparent as well, Momoyo standing at a solid 5'8 while Naruto stood at a solid 6'1, forcing her to look up at him.
"Well," she started, her voice seductive to his ears as she whispered to him, "What do you say? Let's go on a date."
Naruto quickly took a step back, trying to put some distance between them, holding up his hands as he tried to slow down her attack. "Wait just one second." he demanded, Momoyo following after him, not stopping at all.
"Nope," she said, popping the P with a smile. "I can't wait. Not now…" She quickly pressed once more into his personal space, clinging to one arm as she locked eyes with him. "You see, I've had plenty of time to think about this. No man has ever caught my interest, never been able to live up to my standards. Yet, here you come along…"
Naruto gulped, unable to do anything as Momoyo leaned upwards, her lips barely hovering up the skin of his neck, her breath hot as she spoke. "I've never felt this way before, ya'know? You often consume most of my thoughts as all I can ever think about is you. Your strength, how you fought me on even grounds, and most likely would have won had you not thrown the match. How your sapphire eyes sparkle in the sunlight, your blond hair shifting in the wind, that rare yet bright smile you give."
He felt his skin shiver in pleasure as she laid a faint kiss upon his neck. Looking down into her crimson eyes, he saw nothing but honesty. Well, that and a whole lot of lust. Well shit… What do I say in this kind of situation? I told Yamato I wasn't in the market for a girlfriend and here she is being the aggressive one...
He cast a desperate look towards Yamato, allowing Momoyo more access to his neck as she set upon him, leaving more than a few hickeys in the process. While this was happening, as pleasant as it was, all he received in return from Yamato was a shake of the head as he mouthed "I told you." Looking towards the other girls, he received no help from them either as they watched with baited breath, as if this was a drama show. Miyako at some point had brought out a pen and pad, taking notes, muttering about how she could pull this move on Yamato. Said boy slowly inched away from the distracted girl, a new sheen of sweat dripping down his forehead.
When Naruto felt Momoyo's hands encircle around his waist, quickly travelling south towards his butt, her kisses increasing in intensity… Well, he did the only thing he could think of. He fled like a wild pokemon encounter.
Momoyo pulled away as Naruto erupted into a cloud of smoke. As it cleared away in a brief gust of wind, she was left astounded as she held a scarecrow version of Naruto, big googly eyes plastered onto his face as if he was mocking her. "How interesting… I never would have expected that kind of reaction." she said, chuckling as everyone gave her surprised looks, just now realizing what she had done.
Yamato stepped forward, groaning as he rubbed at his face. "Nee-san, don't you think you took that too far? That's practically sexual assault, not to mention rather cruel. What if Naruto gets the wrong idea? You would be leading him on."
Momoyo hauled the scarecrow Naruto onto her shoulders and gave her friends an amused look. "Leading him on? What are you talking about, Yamato? I was being completely honest with him." she said, ignoring how everyone's jaw dropped. "I was simply being proactive in what I want. You see, now that I've marked him, he's mine. Plain and simple." With that, she walked off, heading for the showers.
Kazuko, her face bright red, placed a finger on her lips as she thought aloud. "Is that how it works?"
Yamato spun to face her. "No, that's not how it works. Wanko, don't even think about it lest you get weird ideas."
Kazuko tilted her head in thought. "Okay," she consented before pointing behind the boy, "What about Miyako?"
Yamato blinked. "Miyako?" he parroted before his eyes widened. "Oh shit!" he said as he spun on his feet only to be tightly embraced by Miyako, a determined look in her eyes.
"Yamato…"
He whimpered.
"Miyako, no..."
Said girl gave a patronizing smile.
"Miyako yes.
Then she descended down upon the poor, yet very fortunate, boy.
...
…
Naruto sat atop a rather large building, overlooking Kawakami city with with calm eyes. His right hand was covering his neck while his left was placed in his lap, his legs swinging over the edge. As it was, he was lost in his own thoughts.
He was a person who grew up alone, making very few friends, and even fewer whom he could say he loved. Simply put, Momoyo's approach to the situation had caught him off guard.
It wasn't as if he didn't admire her. She was strong, beautiful, and had a kind aura when not in a bloodlust. He wouldn't mind dating her, if only for a while, to experience something new.
Yet he didn't know if he had it in him. He had told Yamato that he wasn't in the mood for a girlfriend, so he didn't want to be a hypocrite. He gave a sigh. Problems like this are so much easier to just run away from…
He sighed and leaned back, getting ready to lay down to cloud watch. What stopped him from doing so was the back of his head hitting someone's leg. He blinked and looked up, following the pant legs of a white business suit all the way up to the owners top. Is that a sleeveless top?
He was brought from his mindless pondering as the person he was leaning against coughed into their fist. He quickly stood up, an awkward chuckle escaping his lips as he rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry," he started, "I was just lost in my own thoughts and..."
He trailed off as he observed the person before him. Clearly female, with long silver colored waist length hair, which made her golden eyes pop out with vibrant color, she was quite beautiful to behold. Event the crisscrossed scar on her forehead did nothing to distract from her beauty.
Naruto gave her a small smile before he bowed. "My apologies. My name is Namikaze Naruto. May I ask who are you?"
The girl gave him a slightly amused look as she placed a hand on her hip, her white business suit flawless. She struck him as the no nonsense type of girl. "You don't even know I am? The owner of this building?" she asked, eying him with a curious expression.
Naruto shook his head, an easy going smile on his face. "Afraid not," he admitted while shrugging his shoulders, "You must of caught me at a bad time."
The silver haired woman scoffed, her golden eyes travelling up and down his form, noting the casual clothing he was wearing. "Then what time do you consider good to catch the sole male who can match Kawakami Momoyo in combat?" she asked.
Naruto grimaced at that. "Ah, so you've heard of that." he said, rubbing the back of his neck, exposing the hickeys that Momoyo had not too long ago given him.
The woman barely batted an eyelash at the sight of them, a knowing smirk on her face as she finally bowed. "Kuki Ageha. Yes, my little brother was quite ecstatic to explain how a new transfer student could go toe to toe with Momoyo, describing it as the most intense fight he had seen in awhile. Enough to even surpass my own bouts with Kawakami."
Naruto scratched his chin in thought. "I suppose that makes perfect sense, though, it's not that impressive. She wanted to fight and I simply gave her one."
Ageha shook her head. "I beg to differ." She took a step forward, standing next to him, her gaze cast over Kawakami city. "Momoyo has always been the strongest. In the past, only I could keep up with her, to challenge her. She quickly overtook me, and now that I have the business to look after, all she has left is boredom- from facing weak opponents."
Naruto nodded. "Yeah, It's lonely at the top." he said, repeating the line from before.
Ageha nodded, giving Naruto a speculative look. "Yes," she started, "It is quite lonely, but fear not, for she now has you."
He grimaced and his hand came up to cover his hickey's. "Yeah…"
Ageha chuckled to herself. "You needn't cover them up. They are a mark of honor. To be chosen by Kawakami Momoyo herself, that is indeed an accomplishment."
She turned away, walking towards the exit. Once she reached it, she turned to flash a smirk at Naruto. "Though, as you may come to learn, we all have our own agenda's. I'll be keeping an eye are you from now on, Namikaze Naruto."
Naruto gave her slight nod, his eyes gaining a slight glint to them. "As you wish, Kuki Ageha. I too will keep a look out for you.."
She laughed. "Perfect." she said, closing the door behind her.
Once she was gone, Naruto turned to face the lowering sun, some hours having passed since he fled from Momoyo.
He sighed. "I should probably return to the dorm."
I hope Momoyo isn't waiting for me in my bed… I don't know what I would do in that situation...
With that, he was gone with the wind, as if his presence was never there.
...
…
Naruto approached the Shimazu dorm with a slow pace when a dust cloud went up from the backyard. Letting out a sigh, he jumped onto the nearest rooftop so he could watch from a safe distance.
He arrived just in time to watch as a rather beautiful redhead wearing a military uniform and a eyepatch slam into a tree, Momoyo standing across from her with a vicious grin on her face.
Carefully, he listened in on the conversation they were having.
Momoyo waved her hand around, a grin on her face. "Hey, hey…" she started, "Is that it, Margit?"
Naruto made a note of that. So the redhead is named Margit…
Momoyo continued onwards. "I thought you'd make it a little more fun for me."
Margit stood up, her lone red eye finding Momoyo, the grip on her Tonfa tightening. So this is Kawakami Momoyo… "I see," she started, "Without a doubt, she is a legendary warrior." She reached up with one hand to grasp at her eye patch. "As I thought, I couldn't do it with one eye after all."
Naruto raised an eyebrow as Margit's power rapidly increased once she tore her eyepatch off, revealing she had both eyes. Some sort of power limiter?
Margit slouched over, her Tonfa loose in her hands. "Simply put, it's like a self-imposed handicap…" she paused to shift her stance, "Having such high power can be problematic as well."
Momoyo waved her hands around, feeling annoyed at the moment. She came here to look for Naruto, to continue what she had started, but instead she found a worthy opponent who would rather talk than fight. "Enough talking, just hurry-"
Naruto was slightly impressed at the speed Margit could move at, almost being able to match his base speed as she disappeared, and then reappeared in front of Momoyo. Not bad…
Margit quickly put Momoyo on the defensive, but not for long as they both froze, a heavy aura coming down on the area.
Naruto shifted his gaze to Momoyo and found her to be completely focused on her opponent. Ah, so that's what's happening. Focusing your killing intent like that… Margit must be overcome by your sheer bloodlust, Momoyo.
Margit was clearly struggling to stand, sweat dripping down her forehead. "You monster…" she whispered, her muscles tensing up. She reached deep inside herself and found her resolve, her body already in motion as she lunged forward, her tonfa held high.
Momoyo cocked a fist back, a bloodthirsty look in her eyes. "Splendid."
Naruto, who was preparing to intervene, relaxed as someone as did it first.
"The fight stops here!" declared Reiko san, smacking Momoyo in the back of the held with her broom.
Everyone blinked as Naruto struggled to hold in his laughter, finding the dazed expression on Momoyo's face to be funny. Said girl spun around, her anger apparent. "What was that!?" she declared, looking for her next fight. She quickly wilted under the gaze of Reiko as the older woman glared down at her. "I mean," started a nervous Momoyo, "Reiko-san!?"
Reiko huffed. "The fight's been decided. I sure hope nobody around the dorm got hurt." She shook her head before pointing at Momoyo. "Anyways, Momoyo-chan." Her pointing shifted to behind Momoyo. "I know you're happy about fighting someone, but…"
Momoyo and Margit were left speechless as they beheld the area where they were fighting. It was completely trashed, being destroyed in more ways than just one.
Reiko continued onwards. "Please know your limits. I've already contacted the Kawakami Temple." The older woman finished her sentence with a whisper, her threat lingering in the air as Momoyo gulped.
While despair gripped Momoyo, Naruto hopped down from his perch and made his way over, waving to his friends.
Reiko noticed his approach and gave him a happy smile. "Namikaze-kun! How are you?" She paused to look at the bruises on his neck. "Did you get into a fight?"
Naruto shrugged his shoulders, a sheepish expression. "It was an accident," he said, Reiko giving him a disbelieving look, "anyway, would you like some help with that?" he asked, pointing to the ruined yard.
Momoyo, who had turned at the sound of his voice, eagerly nodded her head. "If he's offering, I don't see why he can't fix this mess."
Reiko tsked and shook her head. "It wasn't you who made this mess, so I would never force it upon you. Though, if you want to help clean up, I won't be opposed to it."
Naruto nodded his hand as he walked in the clearing. As all eyes rested on him, curious of what he was about to do. He flashed through several hand signs before slamming his hands onto the ground.
It must have been some kind of technique because, right before their eyes, the ground remolded itself, evening itself out as it fixed all craters, dents, and missing chunks that there might have been. What was once a seriously messed up battlefield was only a slightly ruined backyard.
Naruto stood up and rubbed the back of his neck, turning to face Reiko whom seemed impressed. "It's not totally fixed," he admitted, "but the majority of the mess is gone. This should help speed up the process right."
Reiko nodded and gave Naruto a grateful smile. "Thank you Namikaze-kun. You must be tired, please get some rest."
He wasn't actually tired but he was in no mood to argue with her. "Very well."
As he made his way inside, Momoyo tried to follow after him, but was pulled aside by Reiko who gave her a stern look. "You and Margit-san still need to fix the rest." she pointed behind her as a truck full of supplies rolled up.
The look of despair returned to Momoyo's face as she pouted. "Alright."
Margit was handed a shovel and Momoyo picked up several backs of fertilizer. "Why me?" she asked, getting ignored. She gave up trying to reason with them and got to work, replanting flowers that were destroyed in their fight.
They spent the rest of the evening fixing up what they had destroyed. Meanwhile, Naruto secured his room from any unwanted visitor with seals, not wanting to wake up with Momoyo in his bed. Though, I don't think I would mind it too much...
...
-The next school day-
…
Naruto had successfully avoided Momoyo over the weekend, and this morning, she made no move except to smile at him, a mischievous glint in her eyes, a promise of fun times ahead.
It made him nervous.
So when lunch came around, he stuck his back in a corner and watched the entrances, ready to flee from a Kawakami surprise attack. In the end, it never happened as Yonpachi came flying through the door.
"HEY! Big Trouble!" he shouted, taking a moment to catch his breath. "2-S just got a transfer student!" he declared.
Yamato, who was drinking a juice box, gave him a curious look. "Really? Who is it?"
Steam blew out of Yonpachi's nose. "Some German hottie named 'Maru!' She has to be related to Chris."
Yamato coughed as juice sprayed out of his nose, the name striking a bell within him. He wiped away stray juice as he looked up. "Margit-san!?" he started, "There's no way someone her age can enroll here!" He stopped to contemplate, a curious expression on his face. "Then again, I really want to see someone that sexy put on a schoolgirl uniform!"
Naruto joined him in imagination as he too pictured the crimson haired beauty in a school uniform. What a provoking thought…
Margit stepped through the door of Class 2-F and fixated Yamato with a cold stare. "Naoe Yamato, know that such disgraceful remarks will only shorten your life." she said, her eyepatch back in place as she glanced around with her single red eye.
"Margit-san!" declared most of the Kazama Family, surprised at her simply walking into class 2-F.
Chris approached with a smile on her face. "It's Maru-san~!"
Margit gave her a kind smile and a nod of her head. "Good morning, Lady Chris."
Yamato pouted in his seat. "Damn, a military uniform…"
Margit turned to face the rest of class 2-F. "I have officially been deployed here as Lady Chris' guardian. Although I was placed in a different class because of my superior talents, know that I will be checking on her often. I look forward to my stay here."
Naruto scratched his cheek in thought. Was that a subtle dig at us? 2-S is just as weird…
He was taken out of his thoughts when he felt a pair of slender arms wrap around his waist, pulling him into a warm body as a pair of soft breasts dug into his back.
Damn it, I let my guard down because of Margit…
Momoyo blew softly on his ear, her hands quickly slipping underneath his shirt, roaming over abs. It may have been for just a moment, but his body soon erupted into smoke as he once again replaced his form with a scarecrow version of himself, fleeing once more like a startled pokemon.
Momoyo chuckled to herself.
"I love this game that we're playing. It's quite amusing."
She was quick to give chase. After all, they had another 15 minutes for lunch.
That's another 15 minutes of fun for her, and she was going to make the best of it, of that she would assure you.
...
-Class 2-S
…
Touma stood by the window, a hand on his chin as he gazed outwards, his glasses glinting in the sunlight. "Hahaha," he said, quietly chuckling to himself, "First came the tuxedos, then kimonos, then bal... " He paused to reconsider his words, "Now it's military uniforms. We've got some pretty interesting personalities, just like class F."
Jun, a great friend of Touma, nodded. "I guess so." he said, scratching his cheek in thought. He was struck with sudden realization as he quickly turned to face his friend. "Wait, you were about to say 'Baldies' weren't you?"
His question went unanswered as Touma turned to Margit, who was just returning from 2-F, giving her a small nod and smile.
She caught his gesture and returned the nod, her face set into a neutral style.
Touma turned to face the window once more, his smile growing wider.
"It seems the fun is only just starting."
Even now, he was pondering on what fun he could have with Namikaze.
...
-Summer Break-
…
The first term of the year quietly, or not so quietly, passed on by.
Classes 2-F and 2-S would occasionally butt heads over small matters, usually instigated by 2-S, but they kept it on the down low. They were not in the market for a repeat with the famed Wildcard of Kawakami.
Naruto, in fact, was adjusting well to his new life. Jiraiya's old books had been published and they sold pretty well in the new world, men and women alike purchasing them, proving that deep down- perversity ran deep.
So he regularly brought in a nice chunk of change, his profits skyrocketing with each new addition. It was safe to assume that Naruto was quickly on his way, if not already, to being in the top one hundred. What top one hundred you might ask? Well, just only the top one hundred wealthiest individuals of Japan.
He kept his privacy safe by simply publishing each book under a moniker, The Gallant Jiraiya of course. This way, he was paying homage to the original author, but still raking in the cash. His publishers were all too happy to keep his privacy with how much money they were making because of him.
His regular outings to the library, when he could sneak away from his friends and most importantly- Momoyo, were well spent. The usage of Shadows Clones was a god send as he absorbed knowledge at the rate of a thousand men. The downfall was that he was prone to headaches if he binged read for too long, his mind slowly melting from the overload. End result, he usually only needed around ten clones to get by with superb results.
On the other hand, he continued to meet new people everyday- whether they be a challenger here to fight Momoyo or Naruto himself, since his reputation had gone sky high, cementing his reputation as the strongest Male fighter of their generation. He rarely fought, only if his opponent could pass a test of knowledge, proving that they were worth his time, or if they had the true spirit of a warrior.
The most remarkable opponent he had faced thus far was a far off warrior from Thailand, a master of Muay Thai. It had been a fast match, one that Naruto had felt deserved praise because the man held his head high in face of defeat. After the match, when all was said and done, Naruto approached the man- not as a challenger, but as a student. He was so impressed with the fighting style, one where devastating elbows and knees were utilized. He had wanted to incorporate parts of it into his own style, making it a mixture of the Strong Fist and Muay Thai, feeling that it would round out many of his own weakness, how few they were.
The master of Muay Thai could not teach him, for he was on a journey of enlightenment, but in response to such a great bout, left behind scrolls and teachings for Naruto learn from. It was enough for Naruto as he happily accepted the gift, the old master leaving for his next destination.
As it was, July 20th approached far too fast, and with it, brought the Kawakami Academy Sport's Festival. Here's what he quickly found out- The Kawakami Academy Sport's Festival happens each summer, the school giving something for the students to do. Though, for each new year, it has a chance to be different from the last since it's randomly picked from three categories.
This year, the sports festival was-
"It's a watersports festival!" declared Momoyo, her black bikini barely withstanding the torment she put it through, her breasts dangerously jiggling as she practically skipped. Her reasons? Simply put-
"Swimsuits!" she exclaimed, her eyes having transformed into sparkling stars. "Girls in swimsuits! School swimsuits!"
Indeed, while the boys were wearing whatever trunks they had, be they school issue or not, the girls were required to wear the school swimsuits. For obvious reasons of course, the headmaster simply liked to look at younger women in school swimsuits. No one seemed to mind him being a bit of creep since he was the headmaster, something that he claimed that was his privilege.
And apparently, his blood flowed strongly through his granddaughter as she too enjoyed the look of the school swimsuits. She enjoyed it enough that she dove for the first years, wrapping her arms around the few she could, bringing them in tight as she snuggled up next to them.
Yamato sighed, placing a hand on his hip as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Nee-san, you're even happier than the guys…" he said, now rubbing the bridge of his nose, "Besides, why are you the only one in a Bikini?"
Momoyo disengaged, pulling away from the first year as she bent over, thrusting her chest out as she provocatively placed a hand on her hip. "It's a little freebie, aren't you happy?"
Yamato sighed and gave her a small smile. "A freebie for me or for Naruto?"
Overtime, Yamato and Naruto had patched up whatever problems they had, however small or large they were, simply because Yamato grew up, admitting his loss. He matured as an individual, though he still rejected Miyako every time she asked for his love. Though, the girl was adamant that she was slowly chipping away at his resolve, already seeing Yamato's defenses breaking down.
If anything, since Yamato was Momoyo's supposed younger brother, she had recruited him into trying to cornerer Naruto on more than one occasion. It was quickly becoming a regular game of theirs, where it was Naruto vs the rest of the Kazama family. He was still undefeated in that regard…
Momoyo pouted, crossing her arms underneath her bust. "I went to go look for him, but I couldn't find him at all. He really knows how to suppress his energy." She looked away, clearly annoyed. "And I really wanted to show him my new swimsuit." She huffed as she settled for glaring at her grandfather. "Doesn't help that the geezer won't let me participate so I'm just gonna enjoy myself."
Yamato scratched his cheek in thought. "If you participate, the balance of power would fall apart."
Off to the side, Gakuto drooled as he beheld his female classmates in swimsuits, his hands tightening onto the binoculars he was peering through. "It's a beautiful sight, isn't it, Moro?" he said, while zooming in on another girl. "Look! Chikarin is looking good over there!"
Next to him, Moro sighed. "Stop leering at them, Gakuto…"
Gakuto spun on him, an indignant expression on his face. "You idiot!" he complained, "It's common courtesy to look attentively at good things!" He turned his head in the other direction. "Right, Yonpachi?"
The monkey like boy nodded as he continued to snap a thousand pictures. "Right! Except that not only do I look at them, I also take pictures!"
Gakuto went back to leering at his female classmates as Moro scratched his chin in thought, looking away with a blush on his face. "W-Well," he started, "Gakuto does have a point. Not looking at them is kind of rude…" He turned to face his best friend, his hand hands held out. "So let me use the binoculars next."
"Gloomy Moro is desperately making excuses for himself…"
Moro spun to face the speaker. "I'm not Gloomy!" he said, quickly coming to realize who he was speaking to. "I mean…" He watched as Miyako, Chris, and Kazuko approached them, wearing their own school swimsuits.
Gakuto dropped his binoculars in shock while Yamato joined them in appreciating their friends nice bodies. "They're on a whole other level…" said Moro as he faintly blushed.
Yamato nodded, a light blush on his face as well. "Well, they are members of our family…"
The effect was ruined as Wanko struck a pose, sticking out her chest. "Hey guys, don't you've think I've grown a bit? Hmmm." she asked, winking with one eye as she stuck her tongue out.
Moro decided to appease her. "Hahahaha…" he started by chuckling, "Well, If you say so…"
Wanko happily nodded. "Right? Next year I'll have huge legendary melons."
Yamato turned, biting his knuckles to stifle his laughter. Oh Moro, how kind of you not to make a witty remark… He was distracted as a group of girls squealed of in the distance. Turning, he noticed Aoi Touma approaching.
"Good morning, everyone." he said, waving to a nearby group of girls, Koyuki following after him. "You all look great in your swimsuits, I hope we can all have fun together."
The reaction that was generated from his simply action was massive as the nearby girls started to gossip.
"It's Aoi-kun from 2-S!"
"He's the head of the Elegant Quatro!"
"Not only is he our prodigy, but he's also the successor to the hospital!"
Yamato felt a bead of sweat drip down his face. "Whoa, Aoi Touma sure is popular…"
Miyako nodded. "He's probably the third most famous person after Momo-senpai and Kuki-kun. Well, make that fourth since Naruto ranks right behind Momo-senpai now."
Naruto wrapped an arm around Yamato, peering over his shoulder so he could look at the student of class 2-S. "So that's Aoi Touma? I've heard he's pretty smart."
Yamato absentmindedly nodded before he did a double take, giving Naruto a surprised look. "When did you get here?"
He never got his answer as Touma approached with a smile on his face. "Naoe-san," he said in greeting, turning to face Naruto. "Namikaze-san."
Naruto and Yamato shared a glance before turning to face the class 2-S student. "Yeah? Did you want something?"
Touma gently laughed as he gave them a look. "I've wanted to speak with the both of you for awhile now." he admitted, glancing back and forth between the two other boys. "I'm pretty interested in the both of you."
Naruto pulled away as Touma quickly stepped into Yamato's personal space in a similar manner akin to Momoyo. He stifled his laughter as the dark skinned boy leaned down into kissing range of Yamato, forcing Yamato to lean back as Miyako watched in distress.
"Is it okay if I call you Yamato?" asked Touma, causing Yamato give a cautious nod.
"That's fine," started Yamato, "But you're too close."
The 2-S student took a step back, lightly chuckling to himself. With a flourish, he spoke as he turned to face Naruto. "I apologize, I do love girls, but I love guys as well. Fufufu…"
Yamato took a step back in fright. "Okay, that's just too much info!"
Miyako protectively stepped in front of her love. "I won't hand Yamato over to you!"
Touma gave Naruto a curious look, wanting to know his opinion on the matter.
Naruto shrugged, a blank look on his face. "I don't discriminate. If you like girls and dudes, all the more power to you. Unfortunately for you, I'm a rather straight man, girls are just too tempting."
Touma smiled and nodded, as if he understood Naruto on a deeper level than before. "I know that feeling all too well. Yet," he paused to judge Naruto for a moment, "It's been the latest talk around the school that Kawakami-senpai is pursuing you. If you claim to love girls as much as you do, why have you not returned her feelings?
Naruto nervously chuckled as Yamato and Miyako gave him curious looks as they too wanted to know his answer. Rubbing the back of his neck, he glanced up at the clear sky, not a cloud in sight. "Well," he started, "Things are a bit complicated at the moment. I would rather clear things up before getting into a relationship."
While his answer drew even more curious looks, Touma never pressed beyond that. Instead, he turned back to Yamato, the smile on his face growing slightly more sinister than before. "Incidentally, Class S has a request for you."
Drawing curious expressions, he elaborated for them. "Ignoring our current rankings, Class S would like to challenge Class F to the 'Kawakami Campaign."
The Kazama Family, who had gathered around the boy, held shocked expressions on their faces.
"The Kawakami Campaign?"
Wanko turned to face Yamato, a question mark floating above her head. "What the heck is that?"
The class representative for 2-S approached. He had short silver hair, a sharp jawline, and an unmistakable crisscross scar on his forehead. This was the younger brother of Kuki Ageha, his name being Kuki Hideo. "As the chairman of Class S, I will explain this." he said, approaching with his maid following shortly behind.
He cleared his throat. "The Kawakami Campaign is a battle that tests your class' overall strength. The challenges are randomly selected from 5 themes! If you win, you're allowed to take a group member from your opponents. This means you can steal your opponents guys and incorporate them into your own group!"
Hideo stopped to glance back at his own class, 2-S, as they watched on with growing smirks on their faces. Especially for one Fushikawa Kokoro as she chuckled, bringing a delicate hand up to cover her mouth. This might have been a lost cause in a one-on-one competition, but the Kawakami Campaign focuses on a class' overall strength. There's no way for Class S to fall behind…
Yamato scratched his chin in thought. "So that's what it is…" He turned to glance at the class representative for 2-F. "What do we do chairman?"
Amakusa Mayo, the class rep for 2-F, was a short childlike girl. With pink hair and pink eyes, she radiated innocence as she glanced at the floor in a nervous like manner. "I'm not too fond of this…" she admitted, "If we lose, our class will lose one of its members…"
Jun, forever known as the baldy who held a love for all things childlike and innocent, quickly appeared by Mayo's side. He gave her a gentle smile. "Isn't that right?" he said before turning to face his own class, "Alright you guys, Class F's chairman doesn't want to do this. Now scram!"
Kokoro felt her eyebrow twitch in annoyance. "Which class are you in anyway…"
Forever gloomy Moro gave a look of fear. "If we lose and get incorporated into their class, we might be treated like slaves…"
Kazuko laughed, a determined expression on her face. "There'll be no problem if we win! I definitely want to compete against Class S!"
Capt felt his blood boil as he laughed, joining in on the fun. "Well said, Wanko!" he exclaimed as he clenched his fist. "I'm in! It does seem hard as hell, but it sounds fun! Let's do it!"
Gakuto, forever the hot blooded male that he was, saw a chance opportunity. "I'm also in! If we win we can get a hottie from class S!"
Yonpachi threw his hand up, adding his two cents to the conversation. "I want Sakakibara Koyuki."
Ogasawara Chika, the beauty from 2-F, shot him down. "Hey, we definitely want Touma-kun!"
Naruto gave his class rep a gentle smile as he put his hands behind his head. "I guess everyone wants to do it."
Mayo sighed. "Ugh… Our guys love to fight way too much." She slouched over, another sigh escaping her lips. "Looks like we have no choice…"
"The Kawakami Campaign…"
Students from Class 2-S stared down students from 2-F, the rivalry between the two apparent.
"We accept your challenge!"
Kojima Umeko, the teacher for class 2-F, snapped her whip to get everyone's attention. Wearing her risque swim attire, she struck an imposing sight. "Well then, I approve of the Kawakami Campaign between 2-F and 2-S. Fight to your heart's content!"
Behind the teachers, sitting in the stands, was the Kawakami relatives. Momoyo raised her hand, a smirk on her face. "The commentary will be provided by me, the strongest and sexiest woman of Kawakami Academy, Kawakami Momoyo!"
Tesshin to raised his hand, a joyful smile on his face. "Don't forget me, your principal, Kawakami *Lovely* Tesshin!"
Momoyo took over as she grabbed her own mic. "There will be 5 battles!" she declared, "Who will be forced to change classes?!" Grabbing a box with duel written of the side, she stuck her hand in. "The first theme for the popular Kawakami Campaign will be 'Body!' The challenge will be…"
Naruto watched on in vague interest, wondering if he should compete as well. They banned Momoyo from participating, so does that affect me as well? They never said anything…
"Beach Volleyball!"
...
…
Naruto stood with his class as they set up a volleyball net, the boundaries being set as each class put two forward to participate. For 2-F, Chris and Kazuko stepped forward, confident in their victory. For 2-S, Koyuki and Azumi, whom Naruto recognized as the maid loanshark, stepped forward with small smirks.
Beside him, Yamato cupped his mouth and yelled to his friends. "Good luck Kuri and Kazu!"
Kazuko spun to face him, an annoyed expression on her face. "Don't treat us like some comedy duo!"
Across from them, Azumi smiled. "Do you think you can beat our combo?"
Koyuki tilted her head and gently smiled. "I'll be the setter and Azumi will be the spiker!"
Kazuko turned to give them a confident expression. "Don't underestimate us!"
Chris nodded, a serious expression on her face. "We'll show you the power of Kuri and Kazu!"
Kazuko shot her a betrayed look. "What!? You too?"
Momoyo, who was still commentating, leaned forward in her seat. "Even though this is a beach volleyball match, there's a total lack of boobs besides Yuki, but they're all great athletes!"
Tesshin nodded, his hands folded over each other. "It'll be an interesting game," he started, cracking one eye open, "Even though there's a lack of boobs."
Naruto felt a bead of sweat slide down the back of his head. Those two are totally related…
Azumi started off with a nice serve, but Chris was agile enough to save it, popping the ball up in the air. "Dog!" she called out.
"Gotcha!" cried out Wanko as she moved forward, jumping into the air. With a roar she spiked the ball downwards, completely bypassing 2-S' defense as they scored a point.
"Whoa, what power!" cried out Momoyo, really getting into her role as an announcer. "2-F claims the lead!"
Azumi rubbed her wrist as she glanced at the two other girls. "Whoa," she started, "These guys sure can play…"
Koyuki skipped up to her. "Azumi, Azumi~" she sang before whispering in her teammate's ear. "Hey, Touma says…"
Azumi felt a grin form on her face. "So that's it."
The next round came as Kazuko served the ball with Momoyo continuing to announce. "And Class F continues its offensive!"
Unfortunately for them, Koyuki was there to set up, tossing the ball into the air.
"And now it's class S' turn! It's a chance for a spike!"
Azumi jumped up, ready for the spike, a glint in her eyes. "Here we go…"
But instead of spiking it, she barely tapped it, letting the volleyball easily sail over the net.
Momoyo leaned forward in her seat, practically standing up at this point. "And she doesn't spike it! It's a feint!"
The ball was falling towards the middle, and then the trap was sprung.
Kazuko moved from her side, already in motion. "I got it!"
Chris was the same, lunging forward for the save. "Leave it to me!"
Instead of saving the ball, the two of them stopped and the ball landed, scoring 2-S a point.
Momoyo sat down, a bowl of shaved ice in front of her. "And she got'em looking like fools! This is good!"
Tesshin nodded, eating his own bowl of shaved ice. "She sent it to a tricky place."
Hideo laughed from the sideline and crossed his arms. "Fuhahaha! Well done, Azumi!" he said, heaping praise onto the girl, "As expected of my maid!"
Azumi happily accepted his praise, a joyful smile on her face as she blushed. "Thank you very much Hideo-sama!"
Naruto sighed and rubbed his face when Chris and Kazuko started to fight. At this rate, we're going to lose because they have no teamwork…
"Hey, Kuri, that ball was mine!" snarled Kazuko, a fierce expression on her face.
"But it was on my side!" defended Chris, her expression just as fierce. "Don't get in my way, dog!"
Indeed, it was just as Naruto predicted. Koyuki and Azumi had superb teamwork, working to overcome their opponents. Class 2-S won in a landslide while 2-F was left to suffer in their defeat.
Capt, who was standing next to Naruto and Yamato, smiled. "Well," he started, "They handled Kuri and Kazu pretty well. That just makes them all the more worth beating!"
Yamato gave him a flat look. "Capt, you sound pretty happy, but if we lose, we gotta hand a person over to class S…" he said, causing Capt to grimace at his own mistake.
Touma walked up next to Hideo, a mischievous smile on his face. "Well," he started, "Shall we proceed as planned, Hideo?"
The silver haired boy nodded. "Sure, I'll leave it to you."
Touma nodded and walked forward, drawing 2-F's attention. He stopped a fair bit away from them, yet close enough so they could hear him loud and clear. "The person we want is…"
He pointed at Naruto. "Namikaze Naruto-kun."
Naruto blinked as the crowd blew up, excitement in the air.
Momoyo leaned forward, suddenly much more interested in the outcome. "Whoooa!" she exclaimed, further driving the crowd into a frenzy, "And Class S chooses Naruto!"
Tesshin nodded, stroking his beard in thought. "Well, he has proven to be a powerful player. Tactically smart, superb strength and skill, he's quite the choice."
Naruto shared a look with Yamato who shrugged. "In the end, rules are rules." said the tactician of the Kazama Family.
Naruto sighed and accepted his fate, slowly walking over to the class of 2-S as Yamato called out to him. "We'll just win you back in the next round!"
Touma met Naruto with a smile on his face. "Welcome, Naruto-kun."
Naruto gave him a nod before somebody started to push him from behind. Looking over his shoulder, he found a smiling Kokoro as the culprit. "Welcome, Namikaze Naruto." she said, gently forcing him to sit down.
Naruto blinked as he watched her. "What?" he started, "I don't understand what's going on?"
Kokoro laughed, hiding her mouth behind her hand. "Things are quite different now," she started, "Now that we're classmates, I can say it's a joy to have played against you in Shogi. Only a high class person such as myself could lose to another high class individual. Let's get along, okay?"
Azumi approached him with a tray in hand, a cup of iced tea ready. "Here's some tea." she said, offering it to him. He accepted with a grateful nod, feeling parched. As he sipped on his tea, Koyuki sat down beside him, a marshmallow in hand. "Do you want a Marshmallow?" she asked, offering it to him.
Not one to turn down free sweets, he accepted it with a smile. "Thank you." he replied before popping it into his mouth. I could get used to this…
They had a quick moment of rest before Momoyo, in her usual fashion, decided to move things along. "Alright!" she declared, causing a few of the more jittery students to jump in surprise, "On to the next event! The theme for the second round is 'cuteness!' The challenge will be…"
She paused for dramatic effect, the tension rising with each second.
"A SWIMSUIT COMPETITION!"
The dam broke free as all the male students, and some females, started to celebrate. In fact, Gakuto yelled the loudest "Yeah!"
Then it all came tumbling done as Momoyo stopped to stare at the rest of the card. "Except that you have to cross-dress…" she muttered. What the hell is this...
As a result, Gakuto was also the loudest to protest. "STOP SCREWING WITH US!"
In class 2-S, it was Azumi who started off. "If it's cross-dressing, I think it suits Aoi-kun." she suggested, giving him a playful wink.
Touma held up his hands as he defended himself. "I may like both girls and guys, but I have no desire to be a girl."
Jun nodded. "It's not like everybody wants to cross-dress. Should we just draw straws?"
Koyuki clasped her hands together, a smile on her face. "That's a great idea. Let's do that."
For class 2-F, it was a much easier decision. In fact, it was almost unanimous. While his classmates conspired against him, Moro was nervously watching class 2-S draw straws.
"Wow, cross-dressing sounds tough. I wonder who'll do it for our class?" He turned around as Chris, Miyako, and Kazuko crept up on him, rope in hand. "Hm?" he said before being bound and gagged.
Momoyo stood up, throwing her arm forward. "Each representative is working on their looks! I can't wait to see how they come out!" She stopped to take a breather before getting back into it, "Alright, while we wait for their transformations, please enjoy the Kotodama clubs Kyougoku-kun's speech!"
Nobody stepped forward.
When Kyougoku failed to show up, everyone was left confused. Momoyo looked around a bit, an annoyed expression on her face. "Hey," she started, "What gives?"
Just then, the lights went out, as if somebody had turned off the sun. It was only for a brief moment as the light soon came back, leaving everyone to blink and rub at their eyes.
Standing on stage, leaving everyone speechless, was Naruto. Over his bare chest, he wore a red Haori with two yellow circles on each side. On his feet he wore traditional wooden sandals, and on his head he wore a pronged headband that had the kanji for oil etched into it. Overall, it was surprising and a somewhat exciting sight to see him up on stage, grinning so wide that a few students swore they were blinded by the sight of his grin.
Naruto took one step forward, throwing his arm out with intent, a gleam in his eyes. "Ladies and gentlemen!" he called out, "I do apologize for taking over this little show, but the world must know…" From somewhere, most likely nowhere, Kabuki music started to play. The beat was slow to start, but quickly sped up, creating a rather upbeat atmosphere.
Naruto hopped on one leg, in sync with the music as he swayed to the side with one hand out in front of him. "From the four corners of the world!" he started, landing on both feet. With a dramatic gesture, he brought his other arm up as he spun his head. "Riding atop of the divine wind, a man of most extreme talent and skill has arrived." He slammed his foot down, throwing both his arms out. "From the east to the west, north to south, ladies swoon and men envy! A man of the heaven's has appeared! It is I, the great sage of Mount Myoboku, Namikaze Naruto!" He finished with a flourish, his hair swaying with the wind as his blue eyes seemingly glowed with power and charisma.
Everyone was left speechless, unsure of how to react. This was a completely unexpected move, and it clearly showed on everyone's shocked faces.
The first to break the silence was Tesshin as he stood up, chuckled, and started to clap. "What a splendid show. It was quite amusing."
Following after that, everyone soon erupted into cheers, loudly claiming that Naruto was a prodigy of some sort. His joke, as it was meant to be, simply cemented his fame as the coolest dude of Kawakami. You know what they say, hindsight is 20/20 since earlier he was trying to not draw attention to himself.
As Naruto walked off stage, quickly surrounded by his now adoring fans, Momoyo snapped out of her stupor and threw her arm outwards to grab attention. "That was quite the show Naruto-kun put on for us!" she exclaimed, looking down at the time. "Moving on, the time is up! Here's the cross-dressing you've all been waiting for! First up is Class S! Come on out, Cutie!"
Naruto, along with the rest of the crowd, cringed as Jun stepped out wearing a blond wig with curls and a black bikini. His face was covered with makeup, trying to appeal to his more feminine side, which was nonexistent. While it's not a bad attempt, it's still dangerous enough to be consider psychological warfare…
"Here we go!" said Momoyo, "Representing Class S is Inoue Jun! He's a lot more muscular than expected! However, the crowd isn't taking this well!"
Tesshin stood up in an outrage. "Whose dumb idea was this in the first place?" he demanded, forgetting that all challenges were created by him alone. Well, either that, or he was playing the fool, which was the more believable answer.
Azumi rubbed the back of her head. "We did the best we could, but I guess this is the limit."
Margit nodded along with her words. "Well," she started, "We didn't have much to work with from the start…"
Yamato felt queasy. I kind of don't want to watch the next one…
Momoyo shook her head. "Well, I'll put my happy face back on," she declared with a smile, "Come on out, Class F's Cutie!"
Nothing happened.
"Hm?" said Momoyo is curiosity, "Is he too embarrassed to come out?"
Chris and Wanko were quick to solve the matter, pushing Moro out into the open.
"Looks like class F has selected Moro! Morooka Takuya! Hey, looks like he finally came…" she paused as she her body went through shock. "Out…"
Beside, Tesshin went rigid, his eyes opening as a shocked expression showed on his face.
The reason was simple. Moro should have never been born a man. In his crossdressed state, he appeared as a lithe girl wearing the girls school swimsuit, his hair put up into two side ponytails, a fierce blush on his face as he struggled to stop the small swimsuit from riding up any farther than it already had.
"He…" started Momoyo, surprise on her face and just a small amount of lust that quickly evaporated once she realized it was Moro, one of her friends. "HERE HE IS!" she declared as the crowd erupted into cheers, shouting his name out in delight. Moro was most definitely a dangerous trap, pun intended.
"An overwhelming, unanimous victory for class F!" declared Momoyo as she went on a rant, describing all of Moro's best details. "Such pale skin! A slender body! Those eyes in distress! It's the epitome of cuteness! Morooka Takuya, why were you even born as a man?"
Moro held his hands up to his face. "I… I won?"
Gakuto pumped a fist, his friends following his after him. "Hell yeah! Give Naruto back to us!"
Kokoro cast her gaze to the side. "Well," she started, "We pretty much lost this one from the start…"
Jun was in denial. "I object!" he said, his fake hair bouncing, "What part of me is inferior to that boy!"
Naruto, who was standing next to Koyuki, gave her a slight wave as he made his way back over to 2-F. "Thanks for taking care of me."
Koyuki waved back at him, a happy smile on her face. "Come again!"
As Naruto was surrounded by his friends, the speakers came to life and lunchtime was called for.
Capt groaned, holding his stomach. "Aaaah! I'm starving!"
Wanko, who was following after him, just laughed. "Let's go to the beach house!"
They were stopped as the speakers once more came to life.
"2-S and 2-F will both be participating in the third round of the Kawakami Campaign at the same time. The third theme is 'Intelligence.' Could each class select one representative."
Touma smiled, his classmates giving him confident looks. "Intelligence huh? Looks like it's my turn."
Yamato smirked, feeling confident in his victory. "I'll go. With Aoi Touma as our opponent… We can't take him lightly.
Naruto watched with amused eyes. Everyone seems to be having fun…
He was dragged out of his thoughts as a pair of familiar slender arms picked up from behind, carry him bridal style. Blinking, he found himself staring into the predatory eyes of Momoyo. "Why, hello there handsome. Would you care to eat lunch with me?"
He wasn't even given the chance to deny her as she set off for the beach house, everyone pointing and whispering about how they would make a great couple.
I just can't seem to catch a break…
...
-End-
…
Well? What did you all think?
Like it?
Love it?
Hate it?
Drop a review and let me know. I read mostly all of them in my spare time.
So, to explain a few things, such as Momoyo's sudden boldness…
Well, it's Momoyo. She the type of girl who flirts with other girls for fun, so I don't think she would have any doubts on the matter if she had a guy she liked. I will say that I'm not very far in the VN games, so this is just my own perception of how she would act. I would like to think that it's pretty close to canon, but I'm not 100% certain.
Another thing that I would like to address is the Main Character. Naruto is the Main Character, this story is supposed to be centered around him. Now, I've realized that with the way I set things up, It's more like Yamato and Naruto are co-MC's. That's not necessarily a problem because it give me a reason to create interaction, so we'll see what happens. This is just to help inform you that I don't really plan on changing anything with that. What happens- happens.
I tried to reveal a bit of Naruto's background in this chapter and I'm honestly not too sure how I feel about it. I feel as if it's a bit weak in nature, but I honestly don't want to write a whole chapter about him angsting over the past. I want to stay away from the Naruto universe and focus mostly on the Majikoi world. Just let me know what you all think about this.
Writing Naruto is a bit weird for me. I have him using Namikaze as his last name because to me, this is my own take on Naruto. So, I guess what I'm trying to say, is that sometimes Naruto's personalities may clash with each other, but that's intentional. After all, he is a bit broken with the way he views the world and he doesn't really see a reason to change that. He accepts himself for who he is, flaws and all.
Well, that's it, I'm out.
Have a wonderful day!
Ja Ne!
