Natsuka slammed her glass upside down on the bar. Adjacent to her, the hat-wearing mistake of a rancher. She knew that they knew, that neither of them can get drunk, smirking like a cat Jamie set one down. Sighing the bartender Fernando, poured them more vodka. Both of them knew they would not conceded their dispute but end the evening with either being kicked out after drawing too big a crowd or them having to close. In the last two weeks they threw hands at another both their hair now at the ears because of a habit of pulling hair out became too much./In truth Natsuka had started it, her world was blurring around the edges not just because of drink but since time hasn't been the same in a long time, a very long time. Her blue eyes glared down at a similar pair, ocean versus ice in their case, "Haven't you had enough yet dirt eater?" Natsuka asked sloshing her drink at them. Unfazed her cousin blinked and took another swing, "Nah, I can drink this right like rain." Reaching now and taking her glass too and chugged it. The young waitress, Katie came by- barrel like copper coils bounced about her pretty little head. "H-hi Nami-san, can I get you anything else?" Her hands were fidgeting around her skirts and she had a soft pink blush on her cheeks, Natsuka however was as cool as water. Using her sneaker she pulled up one of Katie's stockings higher that was beginning to sag, letting the touch linger slightly. The was not any real harm with teasing another girl- she didn't realize 'Nami' was a female, or that 'Nami' wasn't even human at all. Certainly she appeared normal, but the more places she tended to visit the better, the very minute they realize she doesn't age is the last moment she is welcome. FlowerBud was a quaint town indeed far from where she grew up and also curiously- a home to another group of non-humans. Jamie is her cousin and ironic to her age they strangely enough met recently.
Jamie couldn't believe the audacity of the rain sprite before them. When Jamie was born she was told by her mother, 'There are many mysterious creatures of this world all that deserve love and happiness-' ... 'except your bastard uncle!' Yes, there was a great rivalry born between the goddess of butterflies and the Harvest King. Jamie was the next in line for the title of God of the Spring when they came of age but was half-human. No one could explain why they were born seemingly human, but unable to age...no powers but no death. What a joke fate had placed on their kingdom, mother hadn't seemed to mind but she was made out of extreme kindness. And Jamie truly hated it. This lower born creature a mere sprite was somehow a-par of a Demi-god and with elemental powers? The-actual-hell. When they first met it was also a heated encounter albeit a different kind of heated encounter... nonetheless they no longer frequent that inn, the same circles or anything as of late. Knowing now what they know to blow off steam and work through their baggage they drink, then fight then drink probably. Fight again but at the least they don't do anything worse than that anymore. Natsuka works at their weather station just outside of town somehow the idiot mortals running that place hadn't put together the bitch is also running their weather itself. Jamie knew they were jealous of her power but more upset about the utter humanness the sprite elicited... They, almost fell for this arrogant whore and even decided on being female for her (assuming Natsuka was a male, which was also false) Jamie hadn't decided on a gender yet and considering the circumstances of not aging it would be more ideal to keep an androgynous face that can mimic youth, as for the other residents of this town they decided on female, in the end it wont matter as long as the other spirits will be calling them 'God' one day, especially the insufferable water-spirit.
