"So. What you are telling me is that you are involved with IAB Captian Ed Tucker?" Barba says. His expression is one of hurt and annoyance.
"Don't ask me that." Olivia says and Barba looks up at her.
"Answer my question Lieutenant." Barba says walking to the window behind him.
"Yes. That is what I'm saying. Anyway why does it matter to you?" Olivia asks and Barba doesn't answer. "Are you... jealous?"
"Of that bastard. No." Barba says, looking out of the window. "Why would I be jealous of him?" Barba asks.
"I don't know. I'm just guessing." Olivia sighs. "I've got a meeting to get to. Then I'm off for the weekend. I'm taking a trip to Paris tonight." Olivia says. Barba turns and looks at her.
However she doesn't take her trip to Paris. Barba knows that when he gets a phone call from her. "Lieutenant. Hi." Barba says, he hears Noah in the background crying. "Is everything okay?"
"Noah isn't well Raf." Olivia says in tears. "We are in the hospital. We never made it to Paris. Me and Tucker argued. He picked up his bag and walked out telling me that we were over." Olivia says. "Raf..."
"What hospital?" Rafael says.
Olivia tells him and Rafael goes to the hospital. When he gets there he tells the nurse that he needs to see Noah Benson and the nurse takes him to the room after he shows her identification of who he is.
The little boy is hooked up to many different pieces of equipment. Rafael looks through the window and sees Olivia in the room with the boy. She looks to see him and comes out of the room. "They fear meningitis." Olivia says and Rafael pulls her into him. He holds her whilst she cries and whispers that he has her.
Over the next few days Noah seems to get better and after a week of mostly sleep the young boy can go home. Rafael offers to bring Noah home with Olivia and she agrees. Noah goes straight to his room and Olivia brings him some pancakes with some berries. She asks Noah to tell her if he feels ill again and goes out of the room.
"Thank you for everything Rafael." Olivia says and Barba looks at her before smiling.
"Go and get some sleep if you want Liv." Barba says and fear and concern creep into Olivia's eyes. "I'll be here. I'll look after him." Barba whispers resting a hand on her shoulder. "I promise I'll let you know if anything happens."
"Okay." Olivia agrees and she goes into her bedroom.
Half an hour later Rafael decides to check on Noah. The young boy seems to be a lot better and requests for his "Uncle Rafa" to read him a story.
When Rafael finishes the story he asks if Noah would like another. "Look after momma Uncle Rafa." The little boy says and Rafael looks at him. "Before I was sick. Mommy and Ed were arguing and she made Ed leave. I like you more. Keep mommy safe." Noah says and Rafael smiles.
Rafael picks up Noah's superman action figure and says "I'll do my best." Rafael says putting the little figure on the side.
"You could be mommy's superman." Noah says and Rafael laughs.
"Maybe. I'm going to go and check on your mom. Do you want me to put a movie on for you?" Rafael asks and Noah nods. He puts on a DVD and leaves the room. He looks back at the little boy before he hears a knock at the door. He opens it to see Tucker standing there.
"Wow... she moves on fast." Tucker says and Barba tenses up.
"Well... it's easy to move on from a man like you." Barba says.
The two men bicker at each other and Tucker hits barba in the face. "She loved me."
Barba hits him once, sending Tucker flying backwards. "Did you really just say that?"
"Yes. I did." Tucker spits.
Rafael laughs. "She kicked you out. That isn't love. Now leave her alone." Barba says shutting the door. He turns around to see Olivia walking through the hallway.
"Ed?" Olivia asks and Barba nods. "I told him not to come back here. Are you okay?" Olivia says going to Barba. Barba wipes his nose and notices blood on his hand when he looks. Olivia grabs some tissue and helps Barba with his injury. "It's on your shirt. Take it off I'll wash it for you."
"Thanks." Barba says. "I need to check on Noah." Barba says and Olivia lets him, blushing when she hears the little boy laugh. Noah never did that with Ed. She never laughed with Ed.
Barba leaves the boy's bedroom and goes back to Olivia who is now in the kitchen getting ice. He begins to take off his shirt and Olivia watches him and puts the ice on the side. She goes to him and puts a hand to his shirt. She undoes the last few buttons and takes off his shirt.
"I'm sorry." She says and Barba looks at her. "I hurt you by getting with Ed."
"I punched Ed." Barba confesses and he notices a smile cross Olivia's face. "Don't tell my mother." Barba says and Olivia laughs.
"I wouldn't do that." Olivia whispers. "Thank you. Although I don't agree with you hitting him..." Olivia says picking up the ice and holding it to Rafael's face. "You protected me and my boy." Olivia continues.
"My nose is fine Liv." Barba says and Olivia smiles. She takes the ice off his face and throws the bag into the sink. She doesn't make an attempt to move from him and Barba doesn't want her to. "You did hurt me. But... You mean everything to me. You and Noah. You are fantastic. You are funny. You are incredible. You... You are beautiful." Barba says and Olivia blushes and Rafael rests his hand on hers. Their fingers lock and Olivia looks at him. "It hurt me you being with Tucker because I wanted it to be me. I want it to be me. I always have wanted it..." Barba says.
Olivia cuts him off by kissing him. Her hands wrap around his neck and Rafael pulls her into him. The kiss is long and slow and passionate. They lift of their lips.
"My son will always come first. Over the job. Over any relationship." Olivia warns.
"I know. I'm all in." Rafael says and Olivia kisses him.
She whispers into his ear, after they kiss a few more times, "well then... I'm all yours."
